Abstract

Enhancing the efficiency and security of public spaces has become increasingly important, leading to the development of an automatic door lock system utilizing wireless technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). This study aims to design and implement a smart door lock system that provides automated control and improves convenience in managing public room access. The research methodology involves programming the ESP32 microcontroller, integrating IoT applications, and conducting various testing methods. These include manual control through physical switches, automated control via the Sinric Pro platform, and Wi-Fi hotspot-based control using the ESP32 module. Comprehensive hardware and software testing was carried out to ensure system reliability and functionality. The results indicate that the proposed system enables seamless control of public room doors through multiple methods, including an Android-based application and Wi-Fi connectivity. By leveraging IoT technology, the system offers a user-friendly, efficient, and secure solution for managing public space access, addressing modern requirements for convenience and safety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh layanan informasi karier terhadap kemampuan perencanaan karier siswa kelas XI Teknik Elektronika SMK Negeri 10 Makassar. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa dari total populasi 90 siswa kelas XI Teknik Elektronika SMK Negeri 10 Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Instrumen, Uji Prasyarat  Analisis, dan Uji Hipotesis. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Layanan informasi karier memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan perencaan karier siswa dengan nilai T tabel lebih besar dari nilai T hitung  (3,571 < 1.701) dan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, maka disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh layanan informasi karier memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan perencanaan karier siswa

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the learning conditions of the Robotic System Controller subject at SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng, (2) develop an ARM robotic color detector trainer for use in the Robotic System Controller practicum, (3) evaluate the validity of the trainer as a learning medium, and (4) Assess its practicality in the practicum. The development process followed the Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI) model. The research subjects consisted of students majoring in Industrial Electronics at Vocational High School (SMKN) 4 Soppeng. Data were collected through validation sheets completed by media experts and response sheets filled out by students. The results showed that the media received a total average score of 93.5% from two media experts, categorizing it as very valid. Additionally, student trials yielded a total average score of 91%, placing it in the very practical category. These findings indicate that the ARM robotic color detector trainer is highly suitable and practical for use as a learning medium for students.

Abstract

North Polongbangkeng is a part of Takalar Regency where the people grow corn besides rice. However, until now corn plants have only been dried and then sold in the form of shelled seeds, while they can actually be sold in the form of processed food. For this reason, people need to be taught how to process it and then taught how to market it in MSME activities through various digital social media. More specifically, the objectives of this service activity are: 1. Increasing community knowledge in utilizing yellow corn so that it can increase community income. 2. Creating an application that can be used to help increase yellow corn production;; 3 Provide assistance to start-up businesses in the field of yellow corn cultivation; 4. Provide assistance in the use of the Yellow Corn marketing market place via Android Applications and E-Marketing; 5. Diversification of Processed Yellow Corn Products into other processed products and designs. ; and 6. Creation of interactive media and training modules for processing yellow corn has been completed. This service activity received a very good response from the Biralle Kunyi farmer group, as well as North Polongbangkeng State Middle School 4 as the target group. Based on the results of the implementation carried out in these 2 stages, it was able to increase the knowledge and skills of the partner group in applying techniques for processing yellow corn into finished food and was able to market it using social media so that the digitalization system could run as expected in optimizing the marketing of yellow corn processing results.

The advancement of technology in this period has been exceedingly swift.  The plethora of emerging innovations compels individuals to remain current.  The selling of gallons constitutes a significant and prevalent industry, prompting numerous gallon enterprises to transition to an online sales model via mobile applications.  Consequently, the researchers choose to develop an innovative and user-centric Gallon Refill Water Sales Application.  This article elucidates how the Gallon Refill Water Sales Application has enhanced efficiency and ease in the purchasing process.  This program enables consumers to swiftly and effortlessly order gallons via their mobile devices.  Users can see the inventory of available products, preferred brands, and execute payments using the COD (Cash On Delivery) method

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing student learning outcomes in the Embedded Systems course at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 10 Makassar. Traditional lecture-based teaching methods, which still dominate learning activities, are considered less effective in promoting student engagement and deep understanding of the material. To address this limitation, the PBL approach was introduced as an alternative that emphasizes real-world problem-solving and student collaboration. The research employed a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group that applied the PBL model and a control group that continued with conventional instructional methods. A validated multiple-choice test, reviewed by subject-matter experts, was used to assess students’ cognitive performance. The findings demonstrate that the application of PBL significantly enhanced learning outcomes. The experimental group achieved a mean post-test score of 19.19, notably higher than the control group’s average score of 12.96. Results from the t-test analysis indicated a statistically significant difference between the two groups (t = 9.821 > t-table = 1.669). Furthermore, the N-Gain score for the experimental group was categorized as moderate (0.53), while the control group’s gain was classified as low (0.15). These results highlight that the PBL model not only strengthens students’ conceptual mastery but also fosters critical thinking abilities and better prepares them to meet challenges in technology-oriented work environments. This study offers valuable insights for enhancing instructional practices within vocational education settings.

Abstract

Teknologi kecerdasan buatan atau Artificial Intelligence (AI) terus berkembang pesat dan mulai diintegrasikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di sekolah-sekolah kejuruan. Penggunaan aplikasi berbasis AI yang memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pembelajaran mulai dari membuat bahan ajar, presentasi hingga video pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi-aplikasi AI kepada para guru di SMK Negeri 7 Makassar. Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi AI untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengajaran. Melalui metode partisipatif, guru dilatih secara langsung dalam mengintegrasikan aplikasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) ke dalam pembelajaran. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru mengalami peningkatan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan AI, meski masih menghadapi beberapa kendala teknis terkait infrastruktur. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi guru serta mendorong adopsi AI dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Penggunaan tabung gas Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sangat membantu masyarakat dalam berbagai aktivitas sehari-hari. Namun, ada beberapa masalah yang timbul akibat kelalaian manusia saat menggunakan tabung gas ini, salah satunya adalah kebocoran tabung gas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat perangkat yang menggunakan sensor untuk mendeteksi kebocoran tabung gas. gas dan api. serta solenoid valve melalui aplikasi yang terhubung ke jaringan Internet. Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) adalah metodologi yang digunakan. memanfaatkan model penelitian Prototype, yang dimana prosedur penelitiannya terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu: 1. Perencanaan, 2. Analisis, 3. Perancangan, 4. Implementasi Adapun implementasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji laboratorium yang dimana pengumpulan datanya dengan melakukan pengujian tegangan, efektivitas dan functionality. Hasil pengukuran tegangan menyiratkan bahwa setiap komponen dalam alat bekerja menyesuaikan fungsi yang di inginkan. Dalam pengujian efektivitas, alat berhasil mendeteksi adanya gas dan api serta solenoid menutup aliran gas dan aplikasi Telegram memberikan notifikasi jika terjadi kebocoran gas atau api. sedangkan pengujian functionality alat yang diuji berhasil mencapai 100% dari kedua validator yang menunjukkan bahwa alat tersebut beroperasi secara efektif sesuai dengan yang di inginkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menilai kelayakan handout pengolahan citra digital. Handout menggunakan website Google Colab sebagai medianya dan library OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision) sebagai algoritma pengolahan citranya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahap implementasi (Implementation) tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 dosen validator yaitu masing-masing dosen adalah validator ahli materi dan ahli media, uji one to one, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji coba lapangan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini memperoleh hasil persentase dari validasi ahli materi sebesar 92,5 % dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 80 % dengan kategori “Layak”, respon mahasiswa dari uji one to one memperoleh persentase sebesar 95,75% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, hasil uji kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase sebesar 83,8% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan hasil uji coba lapangan memperoleh persentase sebesar 83,67% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”.

Abstract

Polongbangkeng Utara, a region in Takalar Regency, is known for its agricultural production, particularly rice and yellow corn. However, despite its potential, corn has traditionally been sold only in its raw kernel form, limiting the economic benefits for local farmers. To address this issue, there is a pressing need to educate the community on processing and marketing corn-based products through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by leveraging digital social media platforms. This community service initiative aims to enhance local knowledge on optimizing yellow corn utilization to increase income, develop applications to support yellow corn production, assist start-ups in yellow corn agribusiness, and provide training on utilizing marketplaces and e-marketing strategies through Android-based applications. Additionally, it seeks to diversify corn-based products, introduce innovative product designs, and offer interactive media and training modules for corn processing. The initiative received a highly positive response from the Biralle Kunyi farmer group and State Junior High School (SMP) Negeri 4 Polongbangkeng Utara, the program's target groups. Implemented in two phases, the program successfully improved the knowledge and technical skills of participants in processing yellow corn into value-added food products and effectively marketing them via social media. As a result, the digitalization process was optimized, significantly supporting the promotion and commercialization of processed yellow corn products, thereby contributing to the region’s economic growth.
