Abstract

The study examines causes of performance decline and turnaround strategies of Indonesia following the 1997/1998 financial crisis. The sample chosen was from the large manufacturing firms in Indonesia. The result of this study found that competitive changes, poor management, high cost structure, economic changes and failure of major projects were the significant factors contributing to the performance decline during the crisis of 1997/1998, while restructuring strategies was important strategies adapted to turnaround firms.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of Brand Image, Trust, Customer Satisfaction and Promotion on Brand Loyalty of Vivo Smartphones in Lhokseumawe City. This research used primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 114 Vivo smartphone users in Lhokseumawe City. The independent variables are brand image, trust customer sarifaction, and promotion. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is brand loyalty. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) software. The research results show that Brand Image does not affect Brand Loyalty of Vivo Smartphone in Lhokseumawe City, Trust does not affect Brand Loyalty of Vivo Smartphone in Lhokseumawe City, Customer Satisfaction and Promotion positively and significantly influence Brand Loyalty of Vivo Smartphone in Lhokseumawe City. The results of testing the coefficient of determination show that brand loyalty among Vivo smartphone users in Lhokseumawe City is influenced by Brand Image, Trust, Customer Satisfaction and Promotion by 35.1 percent.

Abstract

The international database that includes various industries shows that on average, only 20% of employees are engaged in their work, 20% are at a low point in their job, and the remaining 60% work without using their resources. This research aims to ascertain how employee work engagement at PT Smart Glove Tanjung Morawa is impacted by perceived organizational support (POS), job demand, and job satisfaction. This quantitative study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool distributed to 100 employees in the PT Smart Glove Tanjung Morawa production department using a Likert scale. The results indicate that perceived organizational support (POS) has a positive and significant influence on employee work engagement at PT Smart Glove Tanjung Morawa; job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee work engagement at PT Smart Glove Tanjung Morawa; and job demand has a negative but significant influence on employee work engagement at PT Smart Glove Tanjung Morawa.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of organizational commitment and employee engagement on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research sample consists of 124 employees of the Lhokseumawe Mayor's Office. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) employing the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) Version 24 software. The research findings indicate that organizational commitment does not directly affect satisfaction but significantly impacts employee performance. Employee engagement, on the other hand, significantly affects job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction influences employee performance. While job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance, it has a mediating role in the relationship between employee engagement and employee performance. These findings are expected to provide a basis for formulating organizational policies related to employee management to enhance service performance in government organizations, particularly within the Lhokseumawe Mayor's Office.

Abstract

The globalization era has driven significant changes in people's lifestyles, including the growing interest in fast food. King Fried Chicken, as a local culinary business, faces the challenge of fulfilling customer satisfaction amid intense competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, product innovation, and location on customer satisfaction at King Fried Chicken in Lhokseumawe City. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 126 respondents and is analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that all three independent variablesservice quality, product innovation, and locationhave a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Fast and friendly service, attractive menu innovations, and a strategic location have proven to be important factors in shaping customers’ positive perceptions. The conclusion of this study suggests that management should continue improving service quality, updating products creatively, and maintaining easily accessible business locations to strengthen customer loyalty and enhance business competitiveness..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi wisatawan berkunjung Kembali (pada objek wisata Bur Telege di takengon). Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dan diolah menggunakan perangkat SPSS (Statisical Package for the Social Sciences). Hipotesis ditentukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 25.0. hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial, variabel Perceived Interest berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali atau secara statistik 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 6,372 > 1,658. Pada variabel Experiential Marketing berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali atau secara statistik 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 5,084 > 1,658. Kemudian pada Variabel Recreation Perception tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali atau secara statistik 0,585 > 0,05 dan memiliki nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 0,547 < 1,658. Selanjutnya pada variabel Environmental Image Perception berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung Kembali pada wisata Bur Telege Di Takengon atau secara statistik 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 10,020 > 1,658. Nilai Adjusted R Square independen yaitu Perceived Interest, Experiential Marketing, Recreation Perception dan Environmental Image Perception menunjukkan bahwa 66,1% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 33,9% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain selain variabel independen dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Gampong Reuleut Timu, Muara Satu District, North Aceh Regency. The main issue faced by the partner village was the suboptimal management of BUMDes assets, particularly in the preparation of business plans and financial reports that are transparent and accountable. Village officials, including the Geuchik, treasurer, and community members, lack adequate understanding of proper governance mechanisms. The aim of this program was to provide training and assistance to village officials in preparing business plans and financial statements for BUMDes in accordance with good governance principles. The methods employed included workshops and technical mentoring, involving 20 village officials as participants. Evaluation was carried out through post-activity monitoring. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with 85% being able to independently prepare both business plans and financial reports.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produk, kebiasaan berbelanja, dan kemudahan penggunaan terhadap perilaku pembelian pada Platfrom E-commerce Shopee di kalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Malikussaleh. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 100 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda menggunakan software SPSS (Staristikal Package for the Scocial Sciences) versi 26.0 untuk melihat pengaruh variabel independent terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukan bahwa produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian secara statistik t hitung > t tabel (2,07 > 1,984) dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,041 < 0,05, diikuti kebiasaan berbelanja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian secara statistik t hitung > t tabel (7,204 > 1,984) dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan kemudahan penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian secara statistik t hitung > t tabel (-5,597 < 1.984) dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Ketiganya sama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku pembelian pada platfrom e-commerce Shopee dikalangan mahasiswa/i Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Malikussaleh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Leadership, Competence on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at the Tax Service Office of Aceh Province, the dependent variable of this study is digital leadership and the competency for the independent variable is employee performance , for the intervening variable is job satisfaction. The population in this study is 265 personnel of the Tax Service Office of Aceh Province. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling and a sample of 170 respondents who were employees at the Tax Service Office of Aceh Province was obtained, the research method used was a quantitative method, for the data analysis method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study show that digital leadership and competence have a significant effect on job satisfaction, furthermore, digital leadership, competence and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Aceh Provincial Tax Service Office. This study shows that job satisfaction is the most dominant variable affecting the performance of employees of the Tax Service Office of Aceh Province. In this study, digital leadership and competence have a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable, it can be concluded that job satisfaction functions as a partial mediation between exogenous and endogenous variables.
