Abstract

Some students at shipping education institutions feel that learning nautical skills is one of the courses that is not very popular, it greatly affects the attitude and results of learning nautical skills. This research is important to be carried out to improve the quality of nautical skills learning through project-based learning methods by inviting students to complete projects that must be done which they will also face in the world of work. This research is a classroom action research that uses a qualitative approach with the lesson study method. The results of this research are expected to be useful for educators in educational institutions in the shipping sector in applying a new model to improve learning outcomes and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Archiving in University that have not been well organized will cause a problems, the documents need for structuring and archives properly in the systems for the good standard a universities. The most importance of ease in finding the required archives is an important reason why it is necessary to develop an archive search system that can facilitate and improve the process of searching the archived document. Apllying cosine similarity algorithm in Information Systems is a solution for University to organizing archived documents, results from this reserach is the systems can show the relavant document from database list with precision 88.8% and recall 76.1%   from all the data in database.

Abstract

A Flooding is a disaster that often occurs in the Semarang area, especially on Jl. Raya Kaligawe. Flooding can occur due to the ineffectiveness of the pump work in a water impregnation pool. The impact of the floods is detrimental to students because with the flooding it can interfere with teaching and learning activities and studying student activities when on campus. At Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang has a water impregnation pool that is still manually controlled. By using Fuzzy Tsukamoto as artificial intelligence on Internet of Things technology, we can carry out intelligent control systems in water absorption pool pumps in realtime, so as to prevent and reduce human error that causes flooding. In principle, the Internet of Things works using a microcontroller, one of the microcontrollers that can be used, namely Wemos D1 mini. Wemos D1 mini is connected with an ultrasonic sensor to measure water level in a water infiltration pond, air temperature and air humidity sensor to detect rain.

Abstract

A Higher education in the digital era as it is now common to use IT technology (Information Technology) in supporting their daily activities, but the use of IT raises a problem that is serious enough if there is no support and no further management this is only produce a data noise , Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) has implemented an IT-based academic information system, in use of this information systems by time this systems produce a lot of data in the unissula academic database and this data is monotonous data and not clustered or also called data noise data that overlap without any benefit and information further in it, the purpose of this study is to solve the problem of these data into student performance data based on the GPA from semester 1 to semester 4 and make it to be a best data to support an alternative decision by the leader, this study uses the method of datamining and k-means algorithms, k-means algorithm is very good to be used as a solution for problems related to clustering, k-means algorithm is an algorithm that is unsupervised and the data can be adjusted by its self according to its class, the results of this study are a decision support system for grouping academic data in the form of dashboard information systems.

Abstract

To achieve the goals of national education, efforts are needed, such as maximizing the learning experiences of students because learning experiences greatly influence learning outcomes, especially in vocational education. Students' learning experiences can be accommodated through three activities: curricular, extracurricular, and co-curricular. While curricular and extracurricular activities are frequently heard of and discussed, it seems that co-curricular activities have not been fully utilized for strengthening learning. Co-curricular activities are carried out to reinforce, deepen, or enrich curricular activities. They are conducted outside regular class hours (including during breaks) and can take place in school or off-campus to support curricular implementation. Co-curricular activities must directly support the curricular activities and the students' learning interests with an emphasis on a more realistic context. Therefore, it is not solely focused on the curricular content, as it emphasizes real-world problem contexts, co-curricular activities have numerous benefits for students. Some of the benefits of co-curricular activities include character development, the cultivation of good values, the development of social skills and leadership abilities, the promotion of awareness and appreciation of diversity, increased enthusiasm in addressing evolving global issues, and the development of literacy and numeracy competencies. This can also be observed at Malahayati School of Maritime Polytechnic where co-curricular learning is one of the mandatory activities applied to cadets to help reinforce the learning materials they acquire in the classroom.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi sering terjadinya kecelakaan kapal di Indonesia yangdisebabkan oleh tidak optimalnya penggunaan RADAR dan menimbulkan kerugian cukupbesar, baik bagi pemilik kapal maupun masyarakat. RADAR merupakan teknologi yangberfungsi untuk mendeteksi objek disekitar kapal sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinyakecelakaan kapal. Artikel ini mereview faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi optimalisasipenggunaan Radar, termasuk kompetensi operator Radar, perencanaan pemasanganRADAR dan Spesifikasi Radar, Ini merupakan tinjauan literatur dalam bidang manajementransportasi.. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hipotesis mengenaihubungan antar variabel yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian lanjutan. Hasildari tinjauan literatur ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Kompetensi Operator Radar berpengaruhterhadap optimalisasi penggunaan Radar; 2) perencanaan pemasangan Radar berpengaruhterhadap optimalisasi penggunaan Radar; dan 3) Spesifikasi Radar berpengaruh terhadapoptimalisasi penggunaan Radar.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi sering terjadinya kecelakaan kapal ikan di Indonesiayang menyebabkan keselamatan pelayaran terancam dan menimbulkan kerugian cukup besar,baik bagi pemilik kapal maupun masyarakat. Apabila keselamatan pelayaran di laut tidakdiperhatikan dengan baik, dikhawatirkan akan terjadi peningkatan jumlah kecelakaan kapaldari tahun ke tahun. Artikel ini mereview faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi KeselamatanPelayaran, yaitu Sumber Daya Awak Kapal, Kelaiklautan Kapal dan Sarana Bantu NavigasiPelayaran, suatu studi literatur manajemen transportasi. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini gunamembangun hipotesis pengaruh antar variabel untuk digunakan pada riset selanjutnya. Hasilartikel literature review ini adalah: 1) Sumber Daya Awak Kapal berpengaruh terhadapKeselamatan Pelayaran; 2) Kelaiklautan Kapal berpengaruh terhadap Keselamatan Pelayaran;dan 3) Sarana Bantu Navigasi Pelayaran berpengaruh terhadap Keselamatan Pelayaran.

Abstract

Penyakit diabetes adalah penyakit yang berlangsung lama yang menyebabkan tingginya tingkat gula dalam darah. Diagnosis diabetes melibatkan pemeriksaan kadar gula darah dan pengukuran lainnya. Untuk memudahkan proses diagnosis diabetes, sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang menggunakan Certainty Factor untuk mengidentifikasi asal-usul diabetes dan memberikan terapi yang sesuai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membangun sistem pakar untuk mendeteksi dan mendiagnosis penyakit diabetes dengan metode Certainty Factor. Sistem ini menggunakan berbagai teknik pengolahan informasi seperti pengambilan keputusan, inferensi, dan pembelajaran mesin untuk menentukan diagnosis diabetes. Sistem ini juga mengimplementasikan teknik data mining untuk mengidentifikasi pola yang terkait dengan penyakit diabetes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem pakar yang dapat membantu dokter untuk mendiagnosis penyakit diabetes dengan akurasi yang tinggi.Keyword: Sistem Pakar, Diabetes, Certainty Factor
