Abstract

This study investigates the influence of customer knowledge, service features, perceived benefits, and convenience on user interest in adopting BSI Mobile Banking at Mojopahit 2 Branch, Mojokerto City, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with a purposive sample of 100 active users, the study employed multiple linear regression analysis through SPSS. Results demonstrate that all four variables significantly affect customer interest, both individually and simultaneously, with perceived benefit emerging as the most dominant factor influencing user adoption. This study contributes to the growing body of research on Islamic digital banking by highlighting how cognitive and experiential factors drive mobile banking adoption in emerging economies with large Muslim populations. Unlike many conventional studies, this research emphasizes the unique feature set of Islamic mobile banking—such as zakah calculators and Qibla direction services—that align with faith-based financial behaviors. The findings provide actionable insights for Islamic financial institutions aiming to expand digital financial inclusion while preserving Shariah compliance. Future international studies can build on this model by comparing adoption dynamics across Islamic banking systems, examining the role of religious values in fintech usability, or integrating behavioral economics into Islamic digital finance frameworks.

Abstract

The current era of globalization has shown that technology is increasingly sophisticated, and development is becoming easier to optimize so that it is easier to distribute resources to remote and rural areas, but in reality, currently, the resources that have been entered are still experiencing inequality. One of them is the city of Surabaya. The number of poor people in the city of Surabaya has increased to 15 thousand people in 2020. As of 2021, the number of people in poverty increased to 152,490 thousand people. Final education is the most important capital to get a job and fulfill daily needs. This research uses a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling technique which is then analyzed using descriptive discussions. Data collection techniques were obtained from distributing questionnaires, interviews, and direct observation of 85 respondents/samples from a population of 575. Data testing was carried out using validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26. The results show that partial variables education (0.018), and access to technology (0.000) have a significant influence, while the number of families (0.369) does not have a significant influence on poor households. This research impacts government policy, especially in family poverty alleviation. Further studies could observe more about technology access in education on poverty alleviation.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to examine and obtain an adaptive business model for the GreenSA Inn hotel business in the form of meetings, intensive, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). The research method used is a mixed method, namely by using SWOT analysis as a representation of the analytical tool in the quantitative approach, followed by observation and in-depth interviews as a representation of the qualitative approach. There were 7 selected informants who held positions at the level of directors or coordinators and technical implementers. The results obtained by the strategy model are aggressive strategies, namely with a business expansion strategy that focuses on efforts to 'pick up the ball' utilizing all advantages possessed. First, the uniqueness of this study is that it identifies one business area and business unit, namely MICE, so the review is quite detailed but cannot be generalized. Recommendations that are consistent with the study results are promoting marketing channels through social media, and collaborating with religious institutions at the Sidoarjo and Surabaya district levels to offer external meeting activities at GreenSA. Then to be able to obtain a more effective adaptive strategy, a ghost shopper can be carried out at hotels in other districts or other campuses to get information and references for the adaptive strategies they are working on.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and provide views on the determination of the minimum age of marriage from two perspectives, namely the economic perspective and the economic perspective al Ikhtiyath al fiqhy. The method used in this study is qualitative, juridical-normative approach, as well as descriptive qualitative because the data needed and used are in the form of information leaflets that do not need to be quantified. The study found that the findings of previous research on young marriage were confirmed in this study. It found that young marriage is known to increase the risk of miscarriage, infant mortality, cervical cancer, venereal disease, and mental disorders due to social pressure to assume adult responsibilities at a young age. This is a prohibition that must be avoided and is very contrary to Islamic rules la dharara wa la dhirar. These rules are taken to realize the objectives of the maqashid al-syariah by rejecting the ones that mafsadah, by eliminating the harm or at least alleviating it. The corresponding suggestion is to encourage education as early as possible for adolescents so that they know the bad things that have the potential to arise if they force early marriage. Two things that are very important for adolescents to have but scientifically and empirically are considered immature are age and mental preparation. So, it is necessary to pay serious attention to these two things before deciding to marry their couple.

Abstract

This study examines the psychosocial determinants of loan default among Millennial and Gen Z users of Islamic fintech microfinance in Indonesia, applying General Strain Theory (GST) to compare behavioral dynamics across urban and rural contexts. Data were collected from 307 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results reveal notable contextual differences: in urban settings, default intention is significantly influenced by social difficulties, feelings of inferiority, life dissatisfaction, loneliness, and weakened moral norms. In contrast, loneliness emerges as the only significant predictor in rural areas. Economic pressure did not serve as a major driver, emphasizing the greater influence of psychosocial strain over financial factors. These findings suggest that fintech providers should refine credit risk assessments by incorporating psychological and social indicators. Interventions such as financial literacy programs, moral reinforcement, and community-based support systems may be particularly effective, especially in rural areas where social isolation is prevalent. This study offers a novel application of GST in the Islamic fintech domain, providing theoretical advancement and practical implications for more ethical and socially inclusive fintech development.
