Abstract

Human beings were created by Allah with complex and complex structures and functions. The more we try to dig about the brain, it will never end. Therefore, everything that Allah made every part of us is a sign of Allah's greatness that should be our contemplation together. There is a term that states that understanding how the brain works is the main way to uncover the very essence of human beings. Character (morals or behavior) is the most important thing that must be owned by every human being and we must observe and analyze that the brain is the center of human character. The brain is part of the composition of the central nervous system that works as a center for controlling human activities in the form of thinking, moving, behaving, feeling something, remembering, and so on. Without the brain, humans will not live, like inanimate objects, without any use and potential. If we talk about interactions with the Qur'an that humans do such as reading, memorizing, listening, meditating or contemplating the meaning of the Qur'an, then this will affect the function directly or indirectly even the structure and function of the brain itself microscopically cellular can be affected. Many studies have been conducted to prove how the effects of the Qur'an from listening, reading, memorizing the Qur'an to brain function, especially in terms of brain waves, mental health, and so on. Health effects can be obtained very much before we interact with the Qur'an. If we analyze simply the stages of a person's activity before interacting with the Qur'an also indirectly has a positive impact on the body.

Abstract

Abstract

The main aspect of the challenge related to children's food patterns and intake is the availability of snacks and drinks sold in the school environment with high energy and fat and low fruit and vegetables. This community service aims to increase knowledge related to risks, healthy eating patterns, and the importance of bringing children to school. In addition, nutritional status and identification of eating habits of fruits and vegetables in students were also measured. This activity was carried out on August 19, 2022 with strict implementation of health protocol discipline. The majority of students at TK -Active have normal nutritional status with a total of 53 people (73.61%). Carrot is the students' favorite vegetable with 17 people (37.74%) although most parents (46.67%) like all vegetables. Oranges are the students' favorite fruit with 11 people (24.44%), as well as the parents of most students also like oranges, totaling 15 people (33.33%). There are similarities in food preferences both healthy and unhealthy in parents and their children, especially if they eat together more often. Parents have a big role in determining children's eating preferences.

Abstract

Research on ergonomic risk factors for neck pain among Islamic boarding school students remains scarce, despite their prolonged study and Qur’an memorization activities in static sitting postures. Non-neutral body posture during learning may increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), particularly neck pain, which can impair concentration and quality of life. This analytic cross-sectional study aimed to assess students’ body posture during study and memorization activities and to examine its association with neck pain. A total of 72 boarding and non-boarding students participated. Data were collected using questionnaires and the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), and analyzed with chi-square tests and logistic regression to obtain prevalence ratios (PR) and p-values. Neck pain was reported by 63.9% of respondents; 72.2% exhibited poor sitting posture, and 80.6% reported moderate-to-severe stress. Bivariate analysis showed a significant association between stress level and neck pain (p = 0.033; PR = 2.19; 95% CI: 1.25–3.83). In multivariate logistic regression, no variable reached conventional statistical significance; however, students with moderate-to-severe stress had a 3.81-fold higher risk of neck pain (p = 0.057). These findings underscore the need for integrated ergonomic and psychosocial interventions in Islamic boarding school settings to reduce neck pain risk among students.

Abstract

Microplastics (MPs) and nanoplastics (NPs) are pervasive environmental contaminants that increasingly infiltrate the human food chain, making dietary intake a continuous and unavoidable route of exposure. However, the integration of food-chain sources, exposure hotspots, biological absorption, and organ-specific health effects remains fragmented across the literature. This umbrella review synthesizes recent review-level evidence published between 2022 and 2025, focusing on farm-to-fork pathways of dietary microplastics, high-risk food contact materials—particularly tea bags and disposable cups—and mechanistic links to human health outcomes. Evidence indicates that microplastics originate from environmental contamination, food processing, packaging, and consumer-stage practices, with hot beverages representing a major but under-recognized exposure hotspot. Following ingestion, microplastics interact with the gastrointestinal tract, disrupt barrier integrity, and translocate systemically, accumulating in target organs including the liver, kidneys, endocrine organs, and reproductive tissues. Mechanistic pathways consistently involve oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and endocrine disruption, often exacerbated by plastic-derived chemical additives. Despite growing concern, substantial methodological heterogeneity in detection and reporting limits quantitative risk assessment. Overall, dietary microplastics should be regarded as a multi-organ toxicological concern, underscoring the urgent need for standardized analytical frameworks and regulatory attention to food-contact materials and hot beverage consumption practices.
