Abstract

This study investigates the practice of instructional leadership with qualitative methods with a descriptive approach to analysis. Involving principals, teachers, and teaching staff with a total of 15 respondents. The data collection method used is through observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data presentation and data verification. The results show that instructional leadership includes concrete steps in shaping an inclusive and proactive learning culture. These findings are in line with the literature emphasizing the positive role instructional leadership plays on teacher motivation and commitment. However, to evaluate its concrete impact on student achievement, further research is needed. The study recommends developing leadership training programs, strengthening teacher collaboration and participation, and developing supportive school policies. Periodic monitoring and evaluation is also proposed as an important step in ensuring the effective implementation of instructional leadership practices. Through the implementation of these recommendations, it is expected to continue to improve the quality of education and contribute to the development of the literature on instructional leadership

Abstract

Training on creating interactive learning media is an important strategy for enhancing the competence of prospective teachers in the digital era. This study aims to improve the skills of students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra in designing interactive learning media using Canva and PowerPoint applications. The training activity was attended by 50 third-semester students who had completed the Digital-Based Learning Media course for elementary schools (SD/MI). The method used in this activity was a practical workshop, which included demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation of student work. The training results showed a significant improvement in the students' ability to use Canva and PowerPoint features to create engaging, creative, and relevant learning media for elementary school students. Based on the evaluation results, students achieved an overall average score of 4.35, categorized as good to excellent, particularly in terms of independence and design creativity. This training also boosted the students' confidence in teaching and their ability to collaborate effectively. Therefore, this training has proven to positively contribute to the development of pedagogical and technological competencies of PGSD students in creating innovative and enjoyable interactive learning media for elementary school students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan masyarakat pesisir sebagai landasan utama dalam pembentukan karakter yang berkualitas. Dengan fokus pada pengembangan pendidikan karakter, kegiatan ini dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan dalam proses pembelajaran dan kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat pesisir. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan, termasuk pelatihan, dan kegiatan partisipatif lainnya, program ini akan melibatkan peserta dari berbagai kelompok masyarakat pesisir. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini akan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan dan dampak positifnya terhadap pembentukan karakter yang kuat dan beretika. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga akan menyediakan sumber daya edukatif dan dukungan untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku menuju gaya hidup yang lebih berkelanjutan. Penerapan nilai-nilai peduli lingkungan diharapkan dapat merangsang kesadaran masyarakat pesisir akan tanggung jawab mereka terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan membantu menciptakan budaya peduli lingkungan yang dapat diwariskan kepada generasi berikutnya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan dalam bentuk perubahan sikap, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, dan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap pentingnya pendidikan karakter berbasis peduli lingkungan di kalangan masyarakat pesisir. Kegiatan ini juga dapat menjadi model bagi kegiatan serupa di daerah pesisir lainnya, serta memberikan sumbangan nyata terhadap upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan pembentukan karakter yang lebih baik dalam masyarakat..

Abstract

Pengembangan profesi guru merupakan aspek kritis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah menengah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penyusunan dan publikasi karya tulis ilmiah sebagai strategi dalam pengembangan profesi guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Maluku Tengah. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat melalui studi awal dan dialog dengan pemangku kepentingan seperti kepala madrasah, guru, tokoh masyarakat, dan instansi terkait. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah melibatkan partisipasi aktif guru-guru dalam merancang materi pembelajaran inovatif dan melaksanakan pengabdian tindakan kelas. Proses ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep guru, tetapi juga memperkuat keterampilan pedagogis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Selanjutnya, karya tulis ilmiah yang dihasilkan dipublikasikan melalui berbagai forum seperti seminar, jurnal pendidikan, dan platform daring. Pembangunan profesionalisme guru di MTs Negeri 2 Maluku Tengah melalui penyusunan dan publikasi karya tulis ilmiah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dan memberdayakan guru sebagai agen perubahan. Temuan ini memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan model serupa di lembaga pendidikan lainnya untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif guru dalam kontribusi ilmiah, meningkatkan penerapan inovasi pembelajaran, dan mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai pemimpin dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat menengah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the archive management system in SD Muhammadiyah Ambon and its role in supporting school office governance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that SD Muhammadiyah Ambon has implemented a combination of archive management systems, namely manual archives and digital archives. The archives are managed by the administration section with the classification of administrative, academic, and student archives. Although the archival system has run quite well and supports the orderly administration of the school, there are still several obstacles, such as limited storage space, inadequate archival facilities, and a simple digital system. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a more structured archival system to increase the effectiveness of school office governance. Key Words: Archives Management, Office Management. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem manajemen kearsipan di SD Muhammadiyah Ambon serta perannya dalam menunjang tata kelola perkantoran sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SD Muhammadiyah Ambon telah menerapkan sistem manajemen kearsipan secara kombinasi, yaitu arsip manual dan arsip digital. Arsip dikelola oleh bagian tata usaha dengan klasifikasi arsip administrasi, akademik, dan kesiswaan. Meskipun sistem kearsipan telah berjalan cukup baik dan mendukung tertib administrasi sekolah, masih ditemukan beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan ruang penyimpanan, sarana kearsipan yang belum memadai, serta sistem digital yang masih sederhana. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan sistem kearsipan yang lebih terstruktur guna meningkatkan efektivitas tata kelola perkantoran sekolah. Abstract

Religious education in higher education institutions plays a central role in shaping attitudes and awareness of religious moderation among students. This study aims to investigate the impact of mastery of religious education materials on the understanding of religious moderation and the role of teachers in shaping student perspectives. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interview techniques and content analysis. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interview techniques and content analysis. The research sample involved IAIN Ambon students from various study programs who participated in religious education courses with a total of 15 respondents. The results showed that religious education has a positive influence in shaping the awareness of religious moderation, especially through a deep understanding of the values of diversity and interfaith dialogue. The importance of teachers' role in supporting the learning process is evident in their ability to create a classroom environment that is open to diverse discussion and understanding. In addition, the study provides insight into teaching strategies that are effective in facilitating the development of attitudes toward religious moderation. The findings of this study have practical implications for the development of religious education curricula in universities, emphasizing the need for the integration of religious moderation values in every aspect of learning. As such, this research contributes to our understanding of how religious education can be a positive force in shaping attitudes toward religious moderation among college students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the Kurikulum Merdeka is implemented within the framework of a more inclusive education access, considering the support from UNICEF and the policies of the Indonesian government. This research is a literature review, designed to collect, analyze, and synthesize various relevant sources of information to provide a comprehensive overview of the subject. Literature review research focuses on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information from diverse sources related to a specific topic or issue. The findings of this study indicate that UNICEF focuses on protecting children's rights and improving access to quality education through curriculum development, teacher training, and infrastructure enhancement. The Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia, with its flexible and competency-based approach, aligns with international education models that emphasize relevance and holistic assessment. Despite challenges such as infrastructure limitations and a shortage of qualified educators, the Kurikulum Merdeka reflects similar efforts to those of UNICEF and global practices in enhancing education quality and access.
