Abstract

Sexual harassment committed by minors, particularly in the form of breast-grabbing, is a complex phenomenon due to the offender’s ongoing psychosocial development. The legal handling of such cases requires not only a repressive approach but also the application of restorative justice through diversion mechanisms. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of diversion in resolving a breast-grabbing case committed by a minor in Semarang. This research uses a juridical-empirical method with a qualitative approach, focusing on a case study at the Class I Correctional Center (Bapas) in Semarang. Data were collected through interviews and the analysis of legal documents related to the diversion process. The findings indicate that the diversion was conducted in accordance with legal provisions and resulted in an agreement involving an apology, financial compensation, and a commitment to rehabilitate the offender. However, the study also identifies limitations in the victim’s recovery and the continuity of the offender’s rehabilitation. It further questions whether justice is truly achieved when the victim remains psychologically affected, and highlights the risk of behavioral normalization if rehabilitation is not effectively implemented. Therefore, the effectiveness of diversion in sexual offense cases should be understood not only from a procedural standpoint but also in terms of achieving substantive justice for all parties involved.

Abstract

In the era of Society 5.0, characterized by the pervasive digitalization of societal functions, platform service providers play a pivotal role. These platforms, however, are frequently exploited by users for unlawful activities. This study investigates the prerequisites for invoking the safe harbor principle, which shields service providers from criminal liability. Employing a qualitative research approach, secondary data was gathered through a comprehensive literature review and subsequently analyzed qualitatively. The safe harbor principle serves as a critical legal mechanism utilized by platform service providers to shield themselves from legal repercussions arising from illicit actions committed by their users. To qualify for this exemption, providers typically must promptly remove unlawful content upon notification and refrain from active involvement in the transmission of such information. However, recent developments indicate that providers may forfeit safe harbor protection if they play a significant role in moderating or curating content on their platforms.  This research underscores the essential conditions that platform service providers must meet to avail themselves of the safe harbor principle, highlighting the nuanced balance between facilitating digital innovation and upholding legal accountability. By clarifying these conditions amidst evolving regulatory landscapes, this study contributes to ongoing discussions on legal frameworks governing digital platforms, offering insights crucial for policymakers, legal practitioners, and stakeholders navigating the intersection of technology, law, and societal governance.

Abstract

Indonesian state based on Pancasila, any rule of law (criminal) and their enforcement should always contains/is inspired by the values of Pancasila. The policy of enforcing criminal law means upholding justice, and the justice for the Indonesian people is equity based on Pancasila. The direction and policies for the development of national law (criminal law) in realizing the ideals of legal development based on justice should always be based on religious values, customs and socio-cultural values of Indonesian society which crystallized in the Pancasila philosophy. Therefore, the essence of criminal law policy is that efforts to achieve social welfare should always be inspired by and based on the basic values of the Pancasila philosophy as Grundnorm / Staatsfundamentalnorm (fundamental norms of the state) of the Indonesian nation. Pancasila is the values, principles, soul and spirit of the Indonesian people. Pancasila is the basic norm (grundnorm), and at the same time the basic values (grundwerten), which are the spirit of Indonesian law. Law is always rooted in "a peculiar form of social life", therefore a legal system is a uniqueness, an institution rooted in the cosmology, values and traditions of the nation concerned.

Abstract

Abstrak. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mempunyai peranan penting sebagai penggerak ekonomi, baik di tingkat lokal, regional, maupun berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Dengan beragam latar belakang, seperti pendidikan, sektor usaha, pendapatan, dan pengetahuan, pelaku UMKM menghadapi berbagai tantangan untuk mengembangkan bisnis. Dalam kegiatan ini, tujuan GIAT 6 Desa Gedong adalah memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterampilan para pelaku UMKM di Desa Gedong dalam menyusun perencanaan usaha dan legalitas izin usaha dengan OSS. Hal ini bertujuan agar para pelaku UMKM memiliki kemampuan praktis dalam merancang rencana usaha yang diterapkan pada bisnis para pelaku UMKM tersebut.Abstrac. Abstract

Abstrak. Negara Indonesia menganut sistem demokrasi, pemilu menjadi perwujudan atas sistem yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam pemilu untuk menyalurkan aspirasi. Pemilu demokratis perlu adanya pengawasan partisipatif pada semua tahapan penyelenggaraan pemiu 2024 mendatang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan agar masyarakat Desa Tegaron sadar akan pentingnya pengawasan partisipasi pemilu. Untuk mengatasi pelanggaran pemilu masyarakat perlu ambil peran dalam pengawasan partisipatif yang akan membantu dan meringankan tugas lembaga pengawas dalam keberlangsungan pemilu. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah dengan sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan sepemahaman mengenai pengawasan partisipatif. Hasil pada sosialisasi ini berjalan dengan lancar baik dari perencanaan sampai dengan pelaksanaan. Materi yang disampaikan mengenai pentingnya pengawasan partisipatif, dan peran yang dapat dilakukan sebagai pengawas partisipatif.  Kesimpulan sosialisasi ini dengan terbentuknya kerja sama masyarakat untuk amnbil peran sebagai pengawas partisipatif maka akan menciptakan kualitas pemilu yang jujur dan adil.Abstract. The Indonesian state adheres to a democratic system, elections are the embodiment of a system that involves the public in elections to channel aspirations. Democratic elections require participatory supervision at all stages of the upcoming 2024 elections. This service activity aims to make the people of Tegaron Village aware of the importance of monitoring election participation. To overcome electoral violations, the community needs to take a role in participatory supervision that will help and ease the task of supervisory agencies in the continuity of elections. The method of implementing this service is by socialization which aims to provide understanding and understanding of participatory supervision. The result of this socialization runs smoothly both from planning to implementation. The material presented was about the importance of participatory supervision, and the role that can be performed as a participatory supervisor. Abstract

Perkembangan keuangan digital saat ini harus sejalan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan khususnya masyarakat yang berada di daerah. Untuk itu pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai salah satu upaya memberikan lierasi keuangan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan analisis masalah terlebih dahulu agar materi sosialisasi dapat sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian kali ini ada meningkatnya pemahaman tentang perkembangan perusahaan pinjaman daring, aturan hukum tentang pinjaman daring dan risiko yang mungkin muncul dari penggunaan pinjaman daring.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki maksud dan tujuan untuk: Mengedukasi masyarakat khususnya kelompok UMK Batari Pangkep tentang pentingnya makanan sehat dengan sumber yang bahan baku yang aman dan memberikan informasi cara memanfaatkan dan mengolah sisik ikan bandeng secara tepat. Melalui kegiatan dilakukan inovasi terhadap limbah sisik ikan bandeng dengan diolah menjadi aspic jelly yang dapat menciptakan produk yang bergizi. Kegiatan PKM di UMKM Batari Pangkep Kabupaten Pangkajenne Kepulauan pada bulan Agustus 2024. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan yaitu dengan memberikan sosialisasi serta pelatihan kepada kelompok UMKM Batari Pangkep. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu memberikan dampak positive terhadap UMKM Batari Pangkep. Pada peserta pelatihan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya hasil olah data kuesioner awal dan akhir dari peserta pelatihan. Semua responden belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan pengolahan sisik ikan bandeng dan baru kali ini semua responden mendapatkan pelatihan dan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan semua responden telah mampu mengolah, mampu menjelaskan langkah-langkah prosedur dan mampu mengenal bahan-bahan pada produk aspic jelly dari sisik ikan bandeng.

Abstract

Desa Paccellekang tereltak di Kecamatan Patallasang, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, Desa Paccellekang mendirikan unit Bada Usaha Milik Desa dengan nama BUMDes Bumi Paccellekang Sejahterah dan membuka usaha pembudidayaan lobster air tawar dalam program destinasi desa wisata terpadu. Berdaarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa lobster air tawar sering melakukan pergantian cangkang (molting), terkait potensi tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat pun berupaya menginovasikan hasil cangkang molting lobster air tawar menjadi bahan penyedap alami. Pada pengabdian masyarakt yang dilakukan dilihat dari hasil kuesioner, baru kali ini semua responden mendapatkan pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan cangkang molting lobster air tawar menjadi penyedap rasa alami, dan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan semua responden telah mampu mengolah, mampu menjelaskan langkah-langkah prosedur dan mampu mengenal bahan-bahan yang digunakan da;am pembuatan produk penyedap rasa alami dari cangkang molting lobster air tawar. Dan terlihat bahwa pemahaman masyarakat desa Paccellekang terhadap pemanfaatan cangkang molting lobter air tawar sebagai bahan penyedap rasa alami semakin meningkat, dan peserta antusias mengikuti pelatihan sejak awal

Abstract

By employing descriptive analysis and questionnaires distributed to all Batanghari University students, this study seeks to ascertain the entrepreneurial potential analysis of the student body. As part of the entrepreneurship education plan in higher education, the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW) was created to promote an entrepreneurial spirit and encourage entrepreneurial activity so that college graduates become more job creators. On the other hand, it is uncommon to discover a graduate who wishes to launch his business as soon as he graduates from college. The failure of this endeavor is said to have resulted from a lack of seriousness in attempting and appreciating pupils' potential. Six criteria can be used to evaluate a student's entrepreneurial potential: personality, self-control, creativity, drive or desire, risk-taking daring, and self-assurance. Recognizing a student's potential might, in some ways, give insight into how much they believe they still need to study in order to become even better. Gaining awareness of your entire being, including your advantages and shortcomings, is what it means to know oneself. These insights might prove invaluable in your entrepreneurial endeavors.

Abstract

Limited cold chain facilities and conventional packaging systems are primary obstacles for fishery MSMEs in maintaining product quality. This community service program aims to enhance the production capacity and quality standardization of boneless milkfish at the Sipadecengi Business Group in Pangkep Regency. The implementation followed a participatory approach through the integration of freezer technology and vacuum sealers, complemented by hygiene processing training. Results showed significant escalation in key performance indicators: daily production capacity increased from 8–10 kg to 12–15 kg (50%), packaging efficiency rose by 33%, and product shelf life extended from 3 to 10 days under refrigeration. Beyond quantitative metrics, vacuum packaging significantly improved product aesthetics and protection against contamination. This initiative demonstrates that small-scale post-harvest technological modernization effectively strengthens the competitiveness and value-added of local fishery products.
