Abstract

This paper addresses the challenges of optimizing environmental conditions in hydroponic farming by integrating an Intelligent Fuzzy Logic-Controlled IoT System. The research problem lies in the inefficiency of traditional hydroponic monitoring systems, particularly in maintaining ideal conditions for plant growth while minimizing resource waste. This study aims to develop a system that leverages IoT technology and fuzzy logic to monitor and automate hydroponic processes more efficiently. Using sensors, the system continuously tracks key environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, pH levels, and total dissolved solids (TDS). A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) triggers actions based on predefined rules. During testing, the system showed effective performance—for example, activating fans when temperature (31.2°C) and humidity (60%) indicated a need for cooling, and adjusting nutrient levels when pH (5.8) and TDS (450 ppm) were suboptimal. The system offers practical benefits through real-time adaptation using defuzzification and aggregation, ensuring precise resource control, improving efficiency, and reducing waste. This study highlights the system's potential to support sustainable agriculture by providing scalable solutions that enhance plant growth and optimize resource use, especially for small-scale farmers and urban farming initiatives.

Abstract

The development of Teaching Factory as an educational landscape Tourism is a strategic step to bring education as a synchronization of learning activities that refers to Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka. Tourism is related to the beauty and relationship of the landscape between its elements. Perceptions and preferences for beauty are needed as a basis for developing a tourist area. The scenic beauty estimation (SBE) method will enable you to evaluate a landscape. Time is one of the landscape elements that will enhance the character of the landscape. The worst landscape is Landscape 19, which was the parking lot for the Department of Language, Communication, and Tourism. The perception of the respondent's memory that states that the Health Department is the landscape with the best value is based on the time when the picture was taken during the day, which is the perfect time in terms of lighting, shadows, and composition. Another thing is that the health department is an icon of Politeknik Negeri Jember.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are one of the specific targets for interventions to accelerate the reduction of stunting in Indonesia. During this period, attention is needed for nutritional issues due to increasing nutritional needs, lifestyle changes, and eating habits. Nutritional deficiencies during this time, both quantitatively and qualitatively, can lead to metabolic disorders and the onset of diseases. Adolescence is also a crucial period for physical and cognitive development, making good nutritional intake essential for both aspects. In contrast, improper nutrition can have lifelong effects. Nutritional problems during adolescence include chronic energy deficiency and anemia. Chronic energy deficiency generally occurs because adolescents eat too little due to fear of gaining weight or being less attractive. Anemia is a micronutrient deficiency, specifically iron, in adolescent girls. Iron is necessary for the formation of red blood cells, which are converted into hemoglobin, subsequently distributed throughout the body tissues as an oxygen carrier.This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the behavior of consuming nutritious foods in preventing stunting with hemoglobin levels and upper arm circumference (UAC) in adolescent girls at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kendal. The study involved distributing questionnaires to female students in the first and second grades to determine the variables of adolescent behavior in consuming nutritious foods for stunting prevention, while hemoglobin and UAC variables were assessed by directly measuring hemoglobin levels and the upper arm circumference of female students. This descriptive correlational study used a cross-sectional approach, with a sample size of 28 adolescent girls. Adolescent behavior variables were grouped into two categories: good behavior and less desirable behavior. Good behavior includes practicing a nutritious eating pattern, taking iron supplements, and maintaining good personal hygiene, while less desirable behavior involves unhealthy eating patterns, inadequate iron supplement intake, and poor personal hygiene. Hemoglobin level variables were categorized as normal and abnormal, while UAC variables were classified as normal if equal to or greater than 23.5 cm and abnormal if less than 23.5 cm. The analysis employed both univariate and bivariate methods. The statistical test used was the Spearman test due to the non-normal distribution of the data.The analysis results for the behavior variable revealed that the majority of adolescent girls had good behavior. The results of hemoglobin level examinations mostly fell into the normal category, and the UAC measurements mostly showed normal values. Bivariate analysis results indicated no relationship between the consumption of nutritious foods and hemoglobin levels or UAC. This suggests that not only eating patterns influence hemoglobin levels and UAC. Low hemoglobin levels can be caused by various factors, including bleeding, insufficient iron levels in the blood, folate deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, worm infestations, leukemia, and chronic diseases. On the other hand, UAC measurements are less influenced by long-term nutritional deficiencies (chronic).  ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Remaja putri merupakan salah satu sasaran intervensi spesifik dalam percepatan penurunan stunting di Indonesia. Pada masa ini membutuhkan perhatian dalam masalah gizi disebabkan kebutuhan gizi semakin meningkat, perubahan gaya hidup serta kebiasaan makan. Kekurangan gizi pada masa ini baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dapat menyebabkan gangguan metabolisme dan timbulnya suatu penyakit. Masa remaja juga merupakan masa penentuan bagi perkembangan fisik dan kognitif, sehingga asupan gizi yang baik sangat penting bagi kedua aspek ini, sedangkan asupan gizi yang tidak tepat dapat memberikan efek seumur hidup. Masalah gizi yang terjadi pada masa remaja diantaranya kurang energi kronis dan anemia. Kurang energi kronis pada umumnya terjadi karena remaja makan terlalu sedikit karena takut gemuk atau kurang seksi. Anemia merupakan kekurangan mikronutrien berupa zat besi pada remaja putri. Zat besi diperlukan untuk membentuk sel-sel darah merah yang dikonversi menjadi hemoglobin, yang selanjutnya diedarkan ke seluruh jaringan tubuh sebagai pembawa oksigen.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara perilaku mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi dalam pencegahan stunting dengan kadar hemoglobin dan lingkar lengan atas (LILA) pada remaja putri di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kendal.Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada siswa putri kelas satu dan dua untuk mengetahui variabel perilaku remaja mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi dalam pencegahan stunting, sedangkan variabel kadar hemoglobin dan LILA dilakukan dengan cara pemeriksaan secara langsung kadar hemoglobin dan mengukur lingkar lengan bagian atas siswa putri. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan jumlah sampel 28 remaja putri. Variabel perilaku remaja dikelompokkan menjadi dua yaitu perilaku baik dan perilaku kurang baik, perilaku baik apabila remaja melakukan praktik pola makan yang bergizi, minum tablet tambah darah dan PHBS baik, perilaku kurang baik apabila remaja melakukan praktik pola makan yang bergizi, minum tablet tambah darah dan PHBS kurang baik. Variabel kadar hemoglobin dikategorikan menjadi kategori normal dan tidak normal. Sedangkan variabel LILA dikategorikan normal apabila lebih dari atau sama dengan 23,5 cm dan tidak normal apabila LILA kurang dari 23,5 cm.  Analisis yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat. Uji statistiuk yang digunakan yakni uji Spearman karena data berdistribusi tidak normal. .Hasil: Hasil analisis dari variabel perilaku diperoleh sebagian besar remaja putri dengan kategori perilaku baik, hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin sebagian besar kategori normal, dan hasil pengukuran LILA sebagian besar dengan kategori normal. Hasil analisis bivariat diperoleh tidak ada hubungan antara perilaku konsumsi makanan bergizi dengan kadar hemoglobin dan LILA. Hal  ini  menunjukan  tidak  hanya pola  makan  yang  mempengaruhi kadar hemoglobin  dan LILA. Kurangnya kadar hemoglobin disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor antara lain terjadinya perdarahan, kurangnya kadar zat besi dalam darah, kekuarangan asam folat, kekurangan vitamin B12, kecacingan, leukimia, serta adanya penyakit kronis. Sedangkan hasil pengukuran LILA yang kurang dipengaruhi oleh kekurangan makanan yang berlangsung menahun (kronis).Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan perilaku konsumsi makanan bergizi dengan kadar hemoglobin dan LILA. Kata Kunci : Makanan, Bergizi, Hemoglobin, Lila
