Abstract

This research aims to produce a medium for practicing (hitting) the game of Softball. The method used is research and development (R&D). Data collection techniques: (1) Observation, (2) Interview. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with a Likert scale. The population in this study was 30 people, 10 small-scale test athletes, and 20 large-scale athletes. The ball dropper media development was validated by 3 experts, 1 sports expert, 1 electrical expert, and 1 media expert. The percentage of validation is 92, %, 84%, and 88%. The results of the research of respondents from a small trial involving 10 people, showed that the ball dropper media showed a figure of 75.33% which means it is still in the feasible stage and still needs to be improved, followed by a large test involving 20 people, the percentage is 93.06%. This research concludes that the development of Ball dropper media as a media for hitting practice in softball games is considered very feasible to help practice hitting in softball games.

Abstract

This research is based on the contribution of leg muscle strength to the results of volleyball smashes. So, it is necessary to increase strength through a training program to produce good smash results. This study aimed to determine the effect of burpee exercise variations on increasing leg muscle strength and volleyball smash results. This research method is a quasi-experimental research design experiment with a pretest-posttest. The subjects involved in this study were male volleyball players of North Sumatra Club, with purposive sampling and subject collection techniques, the total subjects involved amounted to 10 players. The instrument used in this study is leg muscle strength using the vertical jump test, which is usually done to determine the strength of the leg muscles or an athlete's explosive power while measuring smashing skills for fast and targeted target attacks using Lavage's smash skill test instructions. Analysis of research data Analysis of data using statistical formulas to prove whether the hypothesis data that has been proposed is accepted or rejected by the Liliefors test. Based on the results of the calculations, the hypothesis is that vertical jump = 6.026> 1.859, so burpee training variations significantly influence leg muscle strength. Smash results, hypothesis obtained count smash results = 8.664 ttable> 1.859, So there is a significant influence of burpee training variations on the smash. This study concludes that burpee variation exercises can be an alternative to increase leg muscle strength and volleyball smash results.

Abstract

The survey in North Sumatra was conducted by researchers in the areas of Medan, Tanah Karo, Tebing Tinggi, Asahan, Serdang Bedagai, Deli Serdang, Labuhan Batu, Tanjung Balai, Humbahas, and Binjai, many coaches and athletes still do not have adequate guidance in Indonesian. Most of the information is still in foreign languages, making it difficult to understand Sambo's techniques and rules. This study aims to develop a digital application-based sambo sports book. Method, in this research, uses the research and development (R&D) method. The research subjects consisted of 10 athletes, coaches, and sambo sports enthusiasts for the main field trial and 20 athletes, coaches, and sambo sports enthusiasts for the operational field trial. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with instruments in the form of feasibility assessment sheets from sambo sports experts, linguists, media experts, and user subjects. Data analysis was carried out using a percentage quantitative descriptive technique. The results showed that this digital application-based sambo sports book was very good and feasible. This book has great potential to improve the understanding of sambo techniques and rules among athletes, coaches, and sambo enthusiasts by providing easy-to-understand guidelines in Indonesian and emphasizing the importance of technology-based approaches in Sambo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model permainan aktivitas jasmani dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak usia 8-9 tahun di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Observasi menunjukkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam tes kelincahan Illinois Agility akibat minimnya aktivitas fisik yang menarik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan berbasis permainan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik dan membuat pembelajaran lebih efektif serta menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development Sugiyono dengan subjek 30 siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan 60 siswa pada uji coba kelompok besar. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket/kuesioner yang diberikan kepada ahli dan siswa, serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik kuantitatif persentase. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, permainan, dan bahasa. Hasil validasi desain produk oleh ahli memperoleh rata-rata 84% (Valid), uji coba kelompok kecil 77% (Layak), dan validasi desain produk 91% (Valid). Uji coba kelompok besar menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 89% (Sangat Layak). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dari Layak menjadi Sangat Layak, sehingga model permainan ini dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak usia 8-9 tahun di Sekolah Dasar.
