Abstract

Food is a basic need whose fulfillment is mandatory and urgent and its sustainability needs to be ensured. The recent approach to food provision has highlighted the food system implemented by indigenous peoples in various regions which is still carried out traditionally and pays great attention to the balance of nature, including the indigenous people of Kampung Naga. This study aims to describe and construct the pattern of the food system that has been implemented by the indigenous people of Kampung Naga. This study was designed qualitatively using a systems thinking approach. which is depicted in a causal loop diagram (CLD) located in Kampung Naga, Neglasari Village, Salawu District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with several informants involved, while secondary data were obtained from various related literature. The results of the study indicate that the food system of the indigenous people of Kampung Naga includes various components that are interrelated with each other, such as social systems and ecological systems that intersect with production, management and processing systems, local mitigation systems and the food consumption system of the indigenous people of Kampung Naga which is still carried out traditionally and considers aspects of sustainability. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview in formulating the concept of sustainable food system management.

Abstract

Setiap kegiatan usaha yang dijalankan pasti memiliki risiko yang harus dihadapi baik itu bersumber dari internal perusahaan maupun eksternal perusahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi risiko operasional Agroindustri Gula Semut. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kasus pada Agroindustri Gula Semut yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Sariwangi, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Analisis data pada agroindustri ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Hasil penelitian diperoleh 9 kejadian risiko yang terjadi pada 4 sumber risiko operasional agroindustri meliputi risiko sumber daya manusia, risiko proses, risiko produktivitas, serta risiko reputasi. Berdasarkan penilaian yang dilaksanakan pada setiap kejadian risiko diperoleh nilai risiko terbesar ialah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada waktu kerja. Selanjutnya hasil analisis dari matriks risiko yang terbentuk menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat level risiko yakni high, moderate, low, serta very low. Pengendalian dilakukan berfokus pada kejadian yang memiliki level high dan level moderate untuk dikendalikan karena sangat berpengaruh terhadap keuntungan serta dapat menimbulkan kerugian bagi agroindustri.

Abstract

Pemulihan perekonomian masyarakat pasca pandemik covid-19, merupakan upaya menjaga konsumsi masyarakat menjadi meningkat, upaya yang dilakukan dengan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, terutama dari sektor pertanian yang menjadi sektor penopang ketahanan pangan pasca pandemik. Disamping itu, pengelolaan limbah pertanian bila tidak maksimal akan menimbulkan masalah seperti pencemaran lingkungan. Upaya dalam mengurangi pencemaran merupakan hal yang baik dilakukan guna mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan. Limbah hasil pertanian menjadi sesuatu yang memiliki nilai ekonomis, seperti dengan pemanfaatan limbah dari hasil budidaya tanaman kelapa. Tanaman kelapa ternyata menghasilkan limbah cangkang dan tandan yang akhirnya menimbulkan pencemaran air, udara, dan tanah. Umumnya limbah direduksi dengan pembakaran, penumpukan di tempat pembuangan sampah, dan dilarung ke sungai. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan timbulnya masalah pencemaran lingkungan. Program Pengabdian bagi Masyarakat ini membuat solusi guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Pelaksanaan diterapkan di lingkungan pemilik kebun kelapa dan pedagang kelapa muda pada masyarakat yang menjadi Kelompok Binaan dari Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Siliwangi. Teknologi yang diinovasikan ke kelompok meliputi Teknologi Pirolisis Pengolahan Limbah cangkang kelapa menjadi Asap cair dan Briket Arang. Mitra diberikan pemahaman dan pengembanagan iptek tentang ancaman pencemaran lingkungan oleh bahan yang sukar terurai, teori dan praktek kerja alat pengarangan (pirolisis) limbah bahan organik menjadi asap cair dan arang. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari Program Kemitraan Masyarakat, berupa Pelatihan Pengolahan Limbah Cangkang Kelapa menjadi Briket Arang dan Asap cair, ialah: (i) Pedoman Proses Pembuatan Perangkat Pengarangan limbah cangkang kelapa muda; (ii) Panduan Proses Pembuatan Briket Arang dari limbah kelapa; (iii) Pelatihan pencetakan briket arang.

Abstract

Efforts to regenerate agricultural Human Resources (HR) have seen the potential of Islamic boarding schools as a space for regeneration as a provider space. Agricultural education and training for santri is a breakthrough in efforts to develop santri and develop the regeneration of human resources so that they are interested in the agricultural sector. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence students' interest in business in the agricultural sector, especially horticulture cultivation at the Al Kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods (multiple linear regression) and descriptive methods. This research used a survey method with tools in the form of questionnaires on 48 santri’s. The results of the research show that internal and external factors as well as students' interest in horticultural farming are in the high category. Then, internal factors and external factors of students have a significant influence on students' interest in horticultural farming at the Al Kautsar 561 Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya Regency. This shows that the higher the value of the students' internal and external factors, the higher the students' interest in horticultural farming. Therefore, it is hoped that the development of regeneration of agricultural human resources through Islamic boarding schools will be in line with improving the quality of Islamic boarding school students' human resources so that it will have implications for high interest in the world of agriculture, especially horticulture.

Abstract

Land in Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency had a limiting factor in the form of water availability. One of the local commodities cultivated for generations on dry land in this region is gembili (Dioscorea sp.). However, the gembili cultivation process has not produced optimal productivity and is threatened with extinction. Therefore, gembili cultivation and use of dry land need to be optimized by carrying out integrated land management. The aim of utilizing dry land is to increase local food production and sustainability as alternative food and maintain national food security. This research was conducted using data on productivity, quantity and type of fertilizer obtained through interviews with gembili farmers and secondary data on soil types obtained from BPP Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency. The results showed that grumusol and lithosol soil types had no significant effect (p > 0.05) on gembili productivity. Providing organic + inorganic fertilizer with giving organic fertilizer without a combination produced values that were not significantly different (p > 0.05). However, the average productivity results were sequentially from grumusol and lithosol (6.1 ton.ha-1 and 7.1 ton.ha-1). Meanwhile, the use of organic fertilizer is 8.06% higher compared to organic fertilizer + inorganic fertilizer. The results of the multiple regression test for organic fertilizer had a significant effect (p < 0.05) on the productivity of Dioscorea sp..

Abstract

AbstrakPengeanekaragaman pangan perlu menjadi perhatian dalam mencapai ketahanan pangan. Pengembangan komoditas lokal dari jenis umbi merupakan salah satu upaya alternatif sumber pangan selain beras. Penelitian strategi pengembangan komoditas gembili (Dioscorea sp.) memiliki tujuan menganalisis kekuatan (strengths), kelemahan (weaknesses), peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats) dari faktor eksternal dan internal budidaya, panen, pasca panen, dan pemasaran gembili dengan metode analisis SWOT. Faktor internal (IFE) pengembangan gembili yaitu 3,015, sedangkan faktor eksternal pengembangan gembili mencapai 2,343. Hasil analisis SWOT usahatani gembili memiliki kekuatan yang tinggi karena sistem budidaya yang sangat adaptif kondisi kering dan kurang air. Area strategi untuk usahatani gembili yaitu area IV maka strategi tumbuh dan berkembang. Gembili memerlukan perbaikan budidaya dalam penentuan benih unggul, pengaturan jarak tanam, dan pemupukan. Peningkatan citra gembili dan inovasi pengolahan diperlukan agar konsumsi gembili menjadi kebiasaan di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Gembili, Lokal, Pangan, Strategi, SWOT

Abstract

 Kecamatan Manonjaya merupakan sentra produksi tanaman mendong di Tasikmalaya, dan mendong merupakan  tanaman komoditas perkebunan sebagai sumber bahan baku untuk industri samak, kerajian dan handy craf. Dalam budidayanya diperlukan faktor produksi berupa pupuk, yang perolehannya saat  ini dilaksanakan melalui program pupuk bersubsidi dengan menggunakan kartu tani untuk proses pembeliannya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan kartu tani pada petani mendong di Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Indikator dari penelitian ini adalah  pemahaman program, tepat sasaran, dan tepat waktu. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023. Alat pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan Skala Guttman untuk memudahkan analisis pertanyaan yang diajukan kepada responden.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1). Prosedur pelaksanaan Program Kartu Tani di Kecamatan Manonjaya, untuk petani tanamam mendong khususnya cenderung sesuai SOP prosedur Kartu Tani yang berlaku di Indonesia. 2) Efektivitas penggunaan kartu tani di Kecamatan Manonjaya dilihat dari indikator pemahaman program adalah “sangat efektif” dengan persentase 92%, indikator tepat sasaran adalah “sangat efektif” dengan persentase 91%, indikator tepat waktu adalah “efektif” dengan persentase 87%, indikator tercapainya tujuan adalah “cukup efektif” dengan persentase 60%, dan perubahan nyata termasuk dalam kategori “efektif” dengan persentase 87% Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Kartu tani, Petani Mendong

Abstract

Lemons (Citrus limon) have considerable potential for further development in Indonesia, although the country still relies on imports to meet its domestic demand. This study aims to analyse the feasibility of lemon farming from technical and financial perspectives, as well as its sensitivity to fluctuations in input and output prices. The research employed a descriptive method using a case study approach on a lemon farmer in Sukamulya Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency. Technical feasibility was assessed using the Crop Management guidelines issued by APNI Kheti. Financial feasibility was evaluated using four investment criteria, namely Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit–Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP), complemented by sensitivity analysis. The results indicate that, from a technical perspective, lemon farming achieved a conformity level of 61.29% with the Crop Management standards issued by APNI Kheti. Financial feasibility analysis shows a positive NPV of IDR 3,733,653,738, a Net B/C of 4.85, an IRR of 22.80%, and a payback period of 5 years and 8 months. Sensitivity analysis reveals that a 25% increase in labour costs and a 40% decrease in the selling price of lemons reduce the values of NPV, Net B/C, IRR, and PP; however, these indicators remain within acceptable limits, indicating that lemon farming remains financially feasible for further development.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam pelayanan publik berbasis masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk implementasi yang penting adalah digitalisasi layanan pengelolaan pemakaman, yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual melalui pencatatan buku atau dokumen sederhana. Proses manual tersebut sering menimbulkan permasalahan seperti duplikasi data, keterlambatan dalam pencarian informasi, serta keterbatasan akses data oleh pihak yang berkepentingan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman pada DKM Al-Furqon sebagai bentuk transformasi digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan masyarakat. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan mengacu pada pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini mampu memfasilitasi pengelolaan data makam, pendaftaran pemakaman baru, pencarian lokasi makam, hingga penyajian laporan yang lebih akurat dan cepat. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memberikan transparansi bagi masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi terkait status ketersediaan lahan dan administrasi pemakaman. Implementasi sistem informasi ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah dalam mendorong transformasi digital di sektor pelayanan publik dan mendukung tercapainya efisiensi serta akuntabilitas pengelolaan data berbasis komunitas (Kementerian Kominfo RI, 2021). Secara keseluruhan, penerapan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman di DKM Al-Furqon tidak hanya memperbaiki efisiensi administrasi, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah berupa peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, kemudahan akses informasi, serta mendukung gerakan digitalisasi layanan masyarakat.

Abstract

Climate change has become a global challenge that directly impacts the food systems of indigenous communities, including Kampung Naga in Tasikmalaya Regency. However, studies and management of the impacts of extreme climate change on the food systems of indigenous communities indicate gaps, and are even neglected. Therefore, this research aims to formulate strategies for mitigation, adaptation, and protection of the food systems of the Kampung Naga indigenous community in facing climate change, using a case study method with Soft Systems Methodology analysis. The key informants in this study are representatives of the Kampung Naga community, neighborhood leaders, customary chiefs, youth representatives, household representatives, as well as representatives from Neglasari Village Government and Field Agricultural Extension Officers. Primary data from key informants were collected through surveys, in-depth interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGD) using guidelines, while secondary data were sourced from various literature. Through the SSM analysis stages, it was found that the transformation of the food system cannot be separated from social structures, cultural values, and living customary institutions. The analysis results indicate that an effective strategy must actively involve local actors, integrate traditional knowledge with scientific approaches, and consider the dimensions of efficacy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the transformation process. This study produced a conceptual model that is contextual and participatory, and can serve as a basis for developing food security policies based on local wisdom by implementing various improvement actions including strengthening human resources and actor regeneration, enhancing the self-sufficiency of local production inputs, developing products and post-harvest processes, strengthening synergy among actors, reinforcing institutions and networks, as well as community-based documentation and research. These findings are expected to contribute to building a resilient, fair, and sustainable food system. These findings are expected to contribute to building a resilient, just, and sustainable food system amid the threat of climate change.
