<![CDATA[This research aims to reveal government authority in the novel Pulang by Leila S. Chudori. The author uses data from the novel Pulang through the main character Dimas Suryo and quotes the contents of bloody letters that Dimas received from family, friends, children and other colleagues. The author also describes the cruelty of the New Order government authorities and the PKI towards the people who dared to criticize the anti-PKI government and people. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach method. A qualitative approach that produces written or verbal data and interprets it according to postmodernism theory. Michel Foucault. The data source in this research is the text contained in the novel Pulang by Leila S. Chudori which is analyzed according to historical aspects and government power at that time. This research uses reading and note-taking techniques for data collection. <![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the resistance of female characters reflected in the short story Lesung Pipit by Eka Kurniawan using the feminism of power approach. With a focus on rejection, resistance and action. This research identifies resistance carried out by female characters in short stories. The qualitative method used is by analyzing the content of the short story text and utilizing Naomi Wolf's concept of power feminism as an analytical framework. Through reading, note-taking, and dialectical analysis techniques, the data were collected and analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study reveal that the resistance of female characters in Lesung Pipit is reflected through the process of resistance formation and the treatment of Lesung Pipit as a strong woman. The main findings show that the characters resist through direct action and rejection of injustice and patriarchal treatment. The research provides an in-depth understanding and also a depiction of how Lesung Pipit internally and externally resists the social structure that oppresses her, reflecting the struggle of women in a patriarchal society.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the dynamics of women’s presence in Indonesian poetry after the New Order through a feminist approach. The main focus of this study is how women are depicted in literary works, and how poetry functions as a medium to convey the experiences and problems faced by women in a patriarchal society. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this study analyzes various poems that represent the image and voice of women, and highlights issues of gender equality and oppression experienced by women. The results of the study show that poetry is not only a means of expression, but also a tool to fight for women’s rights and challenge existing gender stereotypes. This study is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role and position of women in literature and society. Overall, these poems not only voice women’s experiences, but also provoke thought about gender equality and oppression, and offer a space for struggle and liberation through creative expression. Using a feminist approach, this study reveals that poetry can function as a critical tool that fights for women’s rights and challenges inequality in patriarchal society.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi eksistensi perempuan dalam filem “Uang Panai” yang terepresentasi dari pemeran utama Wanita Risna. Seorang perempuan berdarah Makassar dengan lingkungan sosial yang masih sangat memegang teguh nilai-nilai budaya dan tradisi dimana tokoh tersebut menunjukkan eksistensinya dalam menyikapi budaya dalam pernikahan Bugis-Makassar yaitu uang panai. Dalam sudut pandang perempuan (Risna) menunjukkan bahwa perempuan berusaha keras untuk melawan tradisi adat pernikahan tersebut. Teori feminisme eksistensialis dari tokoh Simone De Beauvoir digunaka sebagai acuan dalam menganalisis filem “Uang Panai”. Metode analisis data cerita menggunakan analisis yang berkaitan dengan eksistensialis perempuan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to find out how the portrait of power and injustice of the government and party officials towards the community contained in the novel by Mochtar Lubis entitled Senja di Jakarta which is set during the liberal democracy period in the 1950s. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which is a research method that explains the content of the facts, the condition of the problems that occur in the novel. This research also uses data processing techniques carried out by reading and interpreting each quotation data found, adjusted based on the theory used. The data obtained is taken from the novel Senja di Jakarta. The research used postcolonial theory. Based on the results of the analysis, two data were found, namely, a portrait of power and injustice contained in the novel involving the government and party officials which caused great misery and impact on society. Senja di Jakarta also tells about the condition of people from various professions and circles and provides an overview of the colonial situation experienced by the community that does not necessarily refer to torture and physical violence as happened in previous colonizations.]]>

<![CDATA[This research focuses on analyzing the novel Maut dan Cinta by Mochtar Lubis with a postcolonial approach. This research uses a qualitative description method, which is a research method that explains an event and the condition of the problems contained in the novel. This research uses data processing techniques carried out by reading and interpreting quotation data contained in the novel Maut dan Cinta using a postcolonial approach. Then the data obtained is collected and analyzed using postcolonial theory. The results of the analysis of the novel Maut dan Cinta illustrate the impact of colonialism on society, culture, and individuals as well as how the characters in the novel Maut dan Cinta react to fight colonial hegemony. Mochtar Lubis' Maut dan Cinta depicts how the struggle for independence affects the lives and relationships of the main characters. Conflict, violence, and loyalty to the ideals of nationalism become central themes.]]>

<![CDATA[Karya sastra menghadirkan hiburan dan nilai kemanusiaan melalui proyeksi peristiwa, tokoh dan pelbagai unsur yang membangunnya. Dalam konteks tersebut karya sastra Islami mampu mengkombinasikan unsur percintaan dan nilai-nilai Islam menjadi hiburan dan pengajaran kepada pembaca. Artikel ini yang bertujuan memaparkan permasalahan serta inspirasi sosial tokoh, penulis memilih teori sosiologi sastra dalam mengkaji novel Kafilah Cinta, paradigma sosiologis Ian Watt tentang karya sastra dipilih sebagai pisau bedah karena dapat merepresentasikan aspek-aspek sosial di dalamnya. Hasil analisis yang ditemukan dari konteks sosial pengarang, novel Kafilah Cinta memaparkan peristiwa dalam masyarakat dan tidak terlepas dari pandangan pengarang dan konteks sosialnya. Sebagai cerminan sosial masyarakat, Syakaro Ahmad el Alyyi menampilkan peristiwa sosial yang dialami para tokoh dan tidak lepas dari nilai-nilai sosial yang dapat menginspirasi pembaca, misalnya masalah ekonomi yang dihadapi salah tokoh. Novel Kafilah Cinta dengan mengangkat tema perjuangan dalam menggapai ilmu, mampu menampilkan peristiwa bagaimana masalah ekonomi bukan hambatan dalam mengejar ilmu. Berdasarkan fungsi sosialnya sebagai karya sastra, novel Kafilah Cinta memberikan pengajaran agama, inspirasi, dan pemahaman tentang pentingnya ilmu. Bahkan isu percintaan pun diangkat pada novel ini sebagai salah satu pengajaran serta hiburan untuk pembaca.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines how women struggle in the film Secret Superstar by director Advait Chandan which will be presented using the study of liberal feminism theory. The object that is the focus of this research is the resistance of the main character, a young girl named Inisa Malik who dreams of becoming a famous singer amid the helplessness experienced by her and her mother because her father claims that women are just a useless burden. This film tells how Insia struggles to make her dream come true with her father's strict circumstances and strictly forbids Insia from becoming a singer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dialogue in the film to find out how the resistance is carried out by female characters who do not have freedom in living their lives and must live in fear, injustice and powerlessness due to the views of the father who thinks that only he has the right to regulate and make decisions. for the lives of the people in his family. The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on dialogue text selected in the film Secret Superstar as the data to be analyzed. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai bagaimana perjuangan perempuan dalam film Secret Superstar karya sutradara Advait Chandan yang akan disajikan dengan menggunakan kajian teori feminisme liberal. Objek yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini ialah resistensi dari tokoh utama seorang remaja perempuan bernama Inisa Malik yang memiliki mimpi untuk menjadi seorang penyanyi terkenal ditengah ketidakberdayaan yang dialami ia dan ibunya karena sang ayah yang mengklaim bahwa perempuan hanyalah sebuah beban yang tidak berguna. Film ini menceritakan bagaimana perjuangan Insia yang berusaha mewujudkan impiannya dengan keadaan sang ayah yang bersifat keras dan sangat melarang Insia menjadi seorang penyanyi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dialog dalam film untuk mengetahui bagaimana perlawanan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh perempuan yang tidak memiliki kebebasan dalam menjalani kehidupannya dan harus hidup dalam ketakutakan, ketidakadilan serta ketidakberdayaan akibat pandangan sang ayah yang menganggap bahwa hanya ia yang berhak mengatur dan mengambil keputusan untuk kehidupan orang orang dalam keluarganya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif berbasis teks dialog yang dipilih dalam film Secret Superstar sebagai data yang akan akan dianaliis.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini berupaya untuk memaparkan refleksi sosial apa saja dalam novel Manusia & Badainya karya Syahid Muhammad menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra Alan Swingewood. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif yang mengambil kutipan dari sumber penelitian dan mendeskripsikannya. Novel Manusia & Badainya karya Syahid Muhammad menjadi sumber data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu memaparkan pembahasan mengenai refleksi sosial seperti sikap status sosialnya, sikap orang tua terhadap anak, serta bentuk refleksi sosial dalam kerusakan mental yang diakibatkan tekanan orangtua yang terdapat pada novel Manusia & Badainya menceritakan tentang Janu, dan suara-suara yang hidup di kepalanya yang ia namai Robocop dan Kera Sakti. Suara- suara ini seringkali bertengkar di dalam kepala Janu dan beberapa kali mempengaruhi dirinya dalam mengambil keputusan. di dalamnya, banyak sekali pandangan baru mengenai kompleksivitas unsur-unsur kehidupan: Asmara, keluarga, juga jiwa. Kata Kunci:: Sosiologi sastra, Refleksi sosial, Swingewood.]]>

<![CDATA[This article will explain the postmodern aesthetics contained in the text in the form of "Jakarta Sebelum Pagi" novels This study adopted a descriptive approach to the results of the study showed that there were postmodern social characteristics in the Jakarta novel before the morning by Ziggy Z. The postmodern characteristics could be identified as cultural values that emerged through the combination of eclectic languages, disclosure of happiness through a dialogue situation that described parodies , the portrayal of past situations and reinforcement of events in the present showing sure, the rejection of the desires and disappointment that represent the irony, as well as the doubt of the attitudes of the characters through the camp.Keywords: camp; ecleticime; postmodern aesthetics; irony; parody; and surecheABSTRAKArtikel ini akan menjelaskan estetika postmodern yang terdapat dalam teks berupa novel “Jakarta Sebelum Pagi” karya Ziggy Z. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi penggunaan eklektisisme, parodi, pastiche, ironi, dan camp sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam teori sastra postmodernisme Jean Francois Lyotard. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat ciri-ciri sosial postmodern dalam novel Jakarta Sebelum Pagi karya Ziggy Z. Ciri postmodern tersebut dapat diidentifikasi sebagai nilai-nilai budaya yang muncul melalui perpaduan bahasa eklektis, pengungkapan perasaan bahagia melalui situasi dialog yang menggambarkan parodi, penggambaran situasi masa lalu dan keterulangan kejadian di masa sekarang yang menunjukkan pastiche, penolakan keinginan dan kekecewaan yang mewakili ironi, serta pengelabuan sikap tokoh melalui camp.
