Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu bidang yang sangat menentukandalan kemajuan suatu negara, Indonesia merupakan negara kesatuanyang terdiri dari berbagai macam suku, adat, agama, bahasa dan lainlain.Kesatuan ini yang akan menjadi bentuk negara ini secara pluralmelalui pendidikan, perbedaaan ini dapat disatukan agar tidak terjadidiskriminasi yang menyudutkan pada satu golongan. Indonesiamerupakan salah satu negara yang multikultural terbesar di dunia,kebenaran dari pernyataan ini dapat dilihat dari sosio kultur maupungeografis yang begitu beragam dan luas. Keragaman ini diakui atautidak, akan dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam persoalan seperti yangsekarang dihadapi bangsa ini. Seperti korupsi, kolusi, nepotisme,premanisme, perseteruan politik, kemiskinan, kekerasan, separatisme,perusakan lingkunghan dan hilangnya rasa kemanusiaan untuk selalumenghargai hak-hak orang lain adalah bentuk nyata darimultikulturalisme.Pendidikan multikultural seyogyanya memfasilitasi prosespembelajaran yang mengubah perspektif monokultural yang esensial,penuh prasangka dan diskriminatif ke perspektif multikulturalis yangmenghargai keragaman dan perbedaan, toleransi, dan sikap terbuka(inklusif). Perubahan paradigma semacam ini menuntut transformasiyang tidak hanya terbatas pada dimensi kognitif belaka. lebih dari itu,juga menuntut perubahan pada dimensi afektif dan psikomotorik.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan dan Multikultural.

Abstract

AbstrakDalam Undang – undang Sisdiknas Nomor 20 tahun 2003, pasal 3dinyatakan bahwa Pendidikan nasional berfungsi mengembangkankemampuan dan membentuk watak serta peradaban bangsa yangbermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, danbertujuan berkembangnya potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusiayang beriman dan bertakwa pada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlakmulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warganegara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab. Selanjutnya, diPasal 37 ayat (2) menyatakan bahwa kurikulum pendidikan wajibmemuat Pendidikan Agama, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, danPendidikan Bahasa. Tiga mata pelajaran wajib ini mengisyaratkanbahwa tujuan pendidikan nasional berusaha untuk mewujudkanmanusia Indonesia yang religius/beragama, bangsa yang dapatmenghargai warga negaranya dan identitas kebangsaan dengan bahasanasionalnya. Berbagai krisis multi dimensional yang sedang dialamioleh bangsa Indonesia memang tidak hanya bisa dilihat dan diatasidengan pendekatan mono dimensional. Namun demikian karenapangkal dari krisis tersebut adalah rendahnya moral, akhlak manusiamaka, pendidikan agama memiliki andil yang sangat besar dalammembangun watak dan peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat. Untuk itudiperlukan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang efektif,sehingga keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan agamaberkontribusi terhadap penyiapan generasi yang memiliki etika, moral,dan perilaku yang baik. Sebaliknya, kegagalan dalam penyelenggaraanpendidikan agama akan berakibat terhadap merosotnya akhlakgenerasi penerus dimasa yang akan datang dan pada gilirannya akanmerapuhkan karakter bangsa.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Pendidikan Agama Islam, PendidikanNasional

Abstract

Bangsa Indonesia yang mayoritas muslim sangat kaya dengan warisan nilai yang dapat membentuk pribadinya menjadi berkarakter unggul. Oleh sebab itu, semestinya nilai luhur tersebut terinternalisasi dalam setiap pribadi agar dapat diaktualisasikan dalam praktik kehidupan. Mengembangkan generasi penerus bangsa yang berkarakter baik adalah tanggung jawab semua pihak. Tentu saja hal ini tidak mudah, oleh karena itu diperlukan kesadaran dari semua pihak bahwa pendidikan karakter sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Selain itu, meskipun semua pihak bertanggung jawab atas pendidikan karakter, namun keluarga merupakan wahana pertama dan utama bagi pendidikan karakter anak. Kegagalan keluarga dalam melakukan pendidikan karakter pada anak-anaknya, akan mempersulit institusi-institusi lain di luar keluarga (termasuk sekolah) dalam upaya memperbaikinya. Kegagalan keluarga dalam membentuk karakter anak akan berakibat pada tumbuhnya masyarakat yang tidak berkarakter. Oleh karena itu, setiap keluarga harus memiliki kesadaran bahwa karakter bangsa sangat tergantung pada pendidikan karakter anak-anak mereka dalam keluarga. Proses pendidikan merupakanupaya mewariskan nilai-nilai luhur suatu bangsa yang bertujuan melahirkan generasi unggul secara intelektual dengan tetap memelihara kepribadian dan identitasnya sebagai sebuah bangsa. Di sini letak esensi pendidikan yang memiliki dua misi utama, yaitu transfer of values dantransfer of knowledge.              Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, karakter, nilai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam tentang manajemen strategi prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI) Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan (FATIK) IAIN Kendari. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahapan pelaksanaan manajemen strategi dalam penguatan program studi MPI, (2) Kendala yang dihadapi pada pelaksanaan manajemen strategi dalam penguatan program studi MPI, dan (3) Solusi yang ditawarkan terhadap permasalahan pelaksanaan manajemen strategi dalam penguatan program studi MPI. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui ilmu manajemen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa. (1) Tahapan pelaksanaan manajemen strategi dalam penguatan program studi MPI berupa penyusunan strategi, yang terdiri dari perumusan visi dan misi prodi MPI, penyusunan program strategis, pelaksanaan program stategis, Pengawasan pelaksanaan program strategis, dan evaluasi program stategis prodi MPI. (2) Kendala yang dihadapi pada pelaksanaan manajemen strategi dalam penguatan program studi MPI berupa keterbatasan anggaran, belum adanya rencana strategi (renstra) di tingkat prodi, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, dan kesepahaman dan komitmen bersama antar dosen. (3) Rekomendasi solusi dalam mengatasi kendala pelaksanaan manajemen strategi berupa kebijakan postur anggaran berbasis penguatan prodi, penyusunan renstra prodi, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana penunjang, dan membangun komitmen bersama antar Dosen.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Strategi; Penguatan Program Studi.

Abstract

This article reports the result of semi-experimental study which aims to determine and assess the improvement of students’ mathematics learning outcomes after they are exposed to interactive multimedia-assisted problem-based learning model. The sample is 7th grade students at one of junior high school in Kendari. They were selected using cluster random sampling technique. Based on the result of data analysis using descriptive and inferential statistics, the interactive multimedia assisted-problem based learning can improve the students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The result of the study revealed the increase of the average after being taught with interactive multimedia assisted-problem based learning models with 21.2 units and the significance value of 0.00. Interactive multimedia-assisted-problem based learning can be an alternative for mathematical activeness and abilities, which have an impact on improving student mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the motivation to learn Arabic for the banking sector through multimedia-based contextual learning using qualitative methods. Data were garnered using observation, interviews, and documents. The results of data analysis show that contextual learning can motivate students to learn and play an active role in formulating the contextual conversation according to the theme given to each group. The students' attention was focused on searching vocabulary, asking questions, and completing the script in the allotted time. They were diligent, tenacious and enthusiastic in role playing the conversational texts and practicing speaking and acting using Arabic for banking conversation scripts.Keywords: Arabic for banking; contextual teaching and learning; multimedia

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of supportive coworkers, appropriate rewards, and supportive work environment conditions on employee job satisfaction at the Head Office of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Belawan. The research employed an associative-quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method. The population consisted of all 209 employees, while the sample included 68 permanent employees who were selected using the Slovin formula and determined through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires in 2025, and the entire analytical process was processed using SPSS 24.0 software. The results showed that supportive coworkers, appropriate rewards, and supportive work environment conditions had a positive and significant influence both partially and simultaneously on employee job satisfaction. The findings also indicated that the appropriate rewards variable was the most dominant factor affecting job satisfaction compared with the other variables. Approximately 85.7% of job satisfaction was explained by the three variables, namely coworkers, rewards, and work environment, with a very strong relationship. These results suggested that perceptions of reward fairness, clarity of reward processes, and recognition of individual contributions had the greatest influence on employees’ evaluations of their work. This study provided empirical contributions to human resource management studies, particularly those related to job satisfaction in the port service industry.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to analyze the Influence of Leadership and Communication on Employee Work Discipline at the Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade Office of Medan City. The data analysis technique used is the associative research method with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 69 respondents. Primary data collection used a questionnaire. The results showed that the t-value of 4.041> t-table of 1.99 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that leadership has a positive and significant effect partially on employee work discipline. The test results show a calculated t value of 2.711> t table of 1.99 with a significant value of 0.009 <0.05, so the hypothesis H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that communication has a positive and significant partial effect on employee work discipline. The results of the simultaneous test with a calculated F value of 18,817 which is greater than 3,14 and a significant value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 so it can be concluded that leadership and communication have a significant effect simultaneously on employee work discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyse the effect of work discipline and work environment on the work productivity of employees at the AUTO2000 Workshop in Medan–Binjai. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population and sample of this study are all 35 employees of the AUTO2000 Workshop in Medan–Binjai, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analysed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS program. The results showed that, partially, work discipline did not have a significant effect on employee productivity, while the work environment had a positive and significant effect on productivity. Simultaneously, work discipline and work environment have a significant effect on employee productivity. The results of this study are eXpected to be taken into consideration by management in improving productivity through the creation of a more conducive work environment.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of work ability, work discipline, and non-physical work environment on the performance of civil servant employees at the Department of Manpower of North Sumatra Province. The study used a quantitative approach with an associative method. The research population consisted of 215 civil servant employees, with a sample of 69 respondents selected using the Slovin formula through purposive sampling. Primary data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires, and the results were processed using SPSS software version 24. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The results showed that work ability, work discipline, and non-physical work environment, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work ability was the most dominant variable influencing employee performance, as indicated by the highest regression coefficient. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R²) was 0.920, indicating that 92.0% of the variation in employee performance was explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 8.0% was explained by other variables not included in this research model. In addition, the strength of the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable was categorized as very strong, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.961.
