Abstract

Non-ASN personnel have an important role in supporting public services at the sub-district level, but often face various challenges related to irregular employment status and limitations in career development. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation, and training on the job satisfaction of non-ASN personnel at the Medan Helvetia Sub-district Office, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative research with an associative approach. The research population is all non-ASN personnel at the Medan Helvetia Sub-district Office which totals 144 people. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% so that a sample of 59 respondents was obtained which was selected using the incidental sampling technique. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software.  The results of the study show that: (1) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) Motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on job satisfaction; (3) Training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (4) Leadership style, motivation, and training simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. An R² value of 0.929 indicates that all three independent variables are able to explain 92.9% of the variation in job satisfaction, while the remaining 7.1% is explained by other variables outside the research model

Abstract

This study is a qualitative descriptive research aimed at understanding teachers' perceptions of the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum policy, particularly in relation to assessment, at public senior high schools (SMAN) in Konawe Regency. It also seeks to identify the challenges encountered in implementing this policy in the area of assessment. The sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation, with interviews conducted using a structured set of questions. The results of the study indicate that teachers at SMAN in Konawe Regency have a positive perception of the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum policy, especially regarding its application in assessment. However, several challenges were identified in its implementation, including: the diversity of student characteristics, teachers' limited understanding of the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum policy in terms of both the teaching and assessment processes, low student motivation, unclear literacy materials, limited facilities and infrastructure, inadequate training provided by schools, and difficulties in conducting diagnostic assessments. To address these challenges, several solutions are proposed: Teachers should be more proactive in seeking information and knowledge about the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum policy through online resources. Teachers should also participate more in training activities, both online and offline, to increase their understanding of the curriculum. Schools need to provide teaching materials and technological resources to support teachers. Furthermore, the professional development of teachers should be prioritized through ongoing educational initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence, work discipline, and workload on employee performance at PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari. The research focuses on examining the influence of these independent variables on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Research data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 45 employees as respondents. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistics to describe data characteristics, classical assumption tests as prerequisites for analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test to determine partial effects and the F-test to determine simultaneous effects among variables, with the support of statistical data processing software. The results indicate that competence has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and is identified as the most dominant variable. Workload has a negative but not significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, competence, work discipline, and workload have a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that these three variables collectively explain variations in employee performance. This study is limited by a relatively small number of respondents and a research scope confined to a single company. In addition, the variables examined are still limited and do not include other factors that may influence employee performance. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of human resource management knowledge and to serve as a reference for companies in improving employee performance through effective work discipline management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of income level and work motivation on the work productivity of truck driver employees at PT Chahaya Sinar Gemilang. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population as well as the sample consists of all truck driver employees totaling 45 respondents, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed with SPSS version 26. The data analysis techniques included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that income level has a positive and significant effect on work productivity, as indicated by a t-value of 1.985 with a significance level of 0.045. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on work productivity, with a t-value of 5.221 and a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, income level and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on work productivity, proven by an F-value of 179.267 which is greater than the F-table value of 2.366, with a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.895 indicates that 89.5% of the variation in work productivity is explained by income level and work motivation, while the remaining 10.5% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This study provides practical contributions for company management in designing income policies and motivation strategies to improve employee productivity, as well as theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management studies in the transportation and logistics sector.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of employee performance at LPP TVRI North Sumatra Medan, focusing on work discipline, workload, and the work environment. A total of 67 respondents, determined through proportional stratified random sampling, were selected from a population of 203 employees for this quantitative research. Primary data collected via Likert-scale questionnaires were processed using multiple linear regression analysis in IBM SPSS 26, after fulfilling the requirements of classical assumption tests and instrument testing. Empirical findings demonstrate that, both collectively and individually, work discipline, workload, and environmental factors have a significant impact on staff effectiveness. Work discipline was identified as the most influential variable. This research model exhibits high explanatory power, with an Adjusted R^2 of 0.899, indicating that 89.9% of performance fluctuations can be explained by the independent variables studied. Overall, this study provides strategic implications for management to strengthen human resource policies to foster sustainable productivity levels.
