Abstract

Air sumur garam Desa Manis Raya terletak di Kecamatan Sepauk Kabupaten Sintang yang berada jauh dari daerah pesisir telah dimanfaatkan sebagai produksi garam lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian terhadap sifat fisika dan kimia air sumur garam Desa Manis Raya Kecamatan Sepauk Kabupaten Sintang. Studi Sifat fisika dan kimia dilakukan pada dua sumur yaitu sumur 1 merupakan sumur yang telah produksi garam dan sumur 2 merupakan sumur yang belum produksi garam. Sifat fisika diidentifikasi dengan melakukan pengukuran secara langsung pada parameter salinitas, suhu air, Daya Hantar Listrik (DHL), dan Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), serta pengujian di laboratorium pada parameter Total Suspended Solid (TSS) dan kekeruhan. Sifat kimia diidentifikasi dengan pengujian di laboratorium terhadap parameter pH dan kadar NaCl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sifat fisika pada sumur 1 berupa salinitas sebesar 86,8 ppt, suhu air sebesar 28,9 °C, DHL sebesar 8,18 S/m, TDS sebesar 88.028 ppm, TSS sebesar 816,5 mg/l dan kekeruhan sebesar 250 NTU, sedangkan sifat fisika sumur 2 berupa salinitas sebesar 46 ppt, suhu air sebesar 32,4 °C, DHL sebesar 6,042 S/m, TDS sebesar 79.198 ppm, TSS sebesar 50 mg/l, dan kekeruhan sebesar 6 NTU. Sementara itu, sifat kimia pada sumur 1 berupa pH sebesar 6,57 dan kadar NaCl sebesar 87,6%, sedangkan sifat kimia pada sumur 2 berupa pH sebesar 6,83 dan kadar NaCl sebesar 85,6%.

Abstract

Penelitian terkait identifikasi lapisan bawah permukaan pada land application di Desa Tapang Tingang telah dilakukan menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas jenis konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger. Land application menggunakan limbah cair kelapa sawit sebagai pupuk dan diaplikasikan pada tanah dengan media flatbed (parit). Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tiga lintasan dengan panjang setiap lintasan adalah 195 m. dan jarak antar elektroda yaitu 5 meter. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukan tiga buah lapisan penyusun yaitu lapisan pasir, lempung pasiran dan lapukan batuan granit. Nilai resistivitas bervariatif mulai dari nilai 3,15-1339 Ωm. Ketiga lapisan berada pada kedalaman 1,25-39,4 m pada ketiga lintasan. Pembangunan flatbed direkomendasikan di atas zona lapisan lempung pasiran dan lapukan batuan granit.

Abstract

Dayah Salafiyah in Aceh play a crucial role in preserving Islamic traditions and instilling Sufi values, particularly in the face of modernization and technological advancement. These institutions focus on developing ethical and spiritual resilience among students while addressing challenges posed by contemporary societal changes. This study investigates the methods employed by Dayah BUDI Mesja Lamno, Dayah Darul Munawwarah Kuta Krueng, Dayah MUDI Mesra Samalanga, and Dayah Ruhul Fata Seulimum Aceh Besar to internalize and adapt Sufi values in their educational frameworks. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and curriculum analysis. The study found that dayahs utilize methods such as the study of kitab turath, spiritual retreats (khalwat), daily rituals, and mentorship to foster virtues like humility, patience, and reliance on God. However, challenges persist, including technological distractions, societal pressures, and misconceptions about Sufism. The dayahs address these through strict discipline, critical engagement, and community support. The findings affirm the enduring relevance of Sufi values in navigating modern complexities while maintaining spiritual depth. By integrating traditional teachings with selective adaptation, Dayah Salafiyah provide a balanced model for education.

Abstract

Al-Ghazali, a pivotal scholar in Islamic intellectual history, is renowned for his systematic critique of philosophical ideas that challenged Islamic theology during his time. His landmark work, Tahafut al-Falasifah (The Incoherence of the Philosophers), addressed the doctrines of prominent Muslim philosophers such as Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, who sought to reconcile Greek philosophy with Islamic teachings. Using a library-based research approach and analytical methods, this study examines Al-Ghazali’s refutations, particularly his objections to the concepts of the universe's eternity, God’s limited knowledge of particulars, and the denial of bodily resurrection. By categorizing philosophical thought into acceptable, heretical, and unbelief categories, Al-Ghazali delineated the boundaries of religious orthodoxy in response to these debates. His critical approach not only fortified Islamic theological principles but also established a framework for reconciling reason and faith. This study underscores Al-Ghazali’s enduring influence in Islamic thought and highlights the relevance of his arguments in contemporary discussions on philosophy and religion.

Abstract

Penerapan metode induced polarization telah dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi sebaran air asin di daerah sekitar sumur garam Desa Manis Raya menggunakan konfigurasi Wenner–Schlumberger. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan alat Automatic Resistivity System Multielectroda (ARES) dengan membentang kabel sebanyak 2 lintasan. Setiap lintasan masing-masing mempunyai panjang 195 m dengan spasi sebesar elektroda 5 m. Nilai chargeabilitas dengan rentang 0,173 ms – 5,59 ms diduga merupakan daerah sebaran air asin. Pada lintasan satu sebaran air asin dimulai dari jarak 5 m hingga 95 m dan 160 m hingga 195 m, menyebar ke arah utara dan selatan dari sumur garam pertama. Pada lintasan dua dimulai dari jarak 20 m hingga 195 m menyebar ke arah barat dan timur sumur garam pertama.

Abstract

Most high school students in Singkawang City and Bengkayang Regency still require a more comprehensive understanding regarding the application of geophysics, which can impact their skills in conducting field observations. This Community Service (PkM) aims to enhance students' skills in geophysical data acquisition through field observations at Karta Beach, Bengkayang Regency. The activity was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, participants were educated about geophysical data acquisition through field observations, including geoelectric, self-potential, meteorology, and geology practicums. Based on the evaluation results, a score of 87.31 (very good) was obtained, indicating an increase in students' skills in geophysical data acquisition through field observations.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Limbah cair kelapa sawit telah diterapkan di lahan aplikasi yang berada di Desa Tinting Boyok, Kabupaten Sekadau, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi limbah cair kelapa sawit yang merembes ke dalam tanah. Rembesan limbah ini dikhawatirkan menurunkan kualitas air tanah. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode geolistrik resistivitas dengan konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua lintasan geolistrik dengan panjang lintasan sebesar 195 m. Identifikasi limbah cair kelapa sawit dilakukan berdasarkan nilai resistivitas yang diperoleh dari proses pemodelan menggunakan metode inversi Gauss-Newton. Dari proses inversi tersebut, penampang resistivitas yang diperoleh dapat menyatakan nilai resistivitas sebenarnya. Nilai resistivitas yang diperoleh dari hasil inversi adalah 4,53 Ωm  s.d. 950 Ωm. Dari nilai resistivitas tersebut, lapisan tanah yang terdapat pada daerah penelitian berupa lapisan pasir, pasir lempungan dan lapukan granodiorit. Lapisan pasir diduga sebagai tempat akumulasi limbah cair kelapa sawit di dalam tanah. Limbah cair kelapa sawit diduga memiliki nilai resistivitas 4,53 Ωm s.d. 9,7 Ωm. Limbah cair kelapa sawit memiliki nilai resistivitas yang lebih kecil karena mengandung Chemical Oxigen Demand (COD) dan Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) tinggi serta logam hingga logam berat. Rembesan limbah ini diduga terdeteksi dari kedalaman 2 m s.d. 6,5 m pada lintasan 1 dan 2 m s.d. 24 m. Formasi geologi dan topografi mempengaruhi rembesan limbah pada lintasan 1 dan lintasan 2.   Kata  kunci— metode geolistrik, limbah cair kelapa sawit, resistivitas   ABSTRACT   Palm oil mill effluent (POME) has been applied to the application site located in Tinting Boyok Village, Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The objective of this research is to identify the seepage of palm oil mill effluent into the soil. This seepage is concerning as it may degrade the quality of groundwater. The method used to achieve this objective is the resistivity geoelectric method with the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. This study utilized two geoelectric lines, each with a length of 195 meters. The identification of palm oil mill effluent was based on resistivity values obtained from the modeling process using the Gauss-Newton inversion method. From this inversion process, the resistivity cross-section obtained can represent the actual resistivity values. The resistivity values obtained from the inversion results range from 4.53 Ωm to 950 Ωm. Based on these resistivity values, the soil layers in the study area consist of sand, clayey sand, and weathered granodiorite layers. The sand layer is suspected to be the accumulation zone for palm oil mill effluent within the soil. The palm oil mill effluent is estimated to have resistivity values ranging from 4.53 Ωm to 9.7 Ωm. The effluent exhibits lower resistivity values due to its high Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) content, as well as the presence of metals and heavy metals. The seepage of this effluent is suspected to be detected at depths ranging from 2 meters to 6.5 meters on line 1, and from 2 meters to 24 meters on line 2. Abstract

West Kalimantan Province has five Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), one of which is the Randayan MPA. It is located in Bengkayang Regency abd was officially established in 2019 through Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat No. 1. One of the mandated activities was public education on conservation, which mostly targeted adults whose livelihoods depended on the extraction of natural resources. Concerning the conservation awareness gap for teenagers and children, our Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) initiated the application of the concepts of Social Capital and Bandura’s Social Learning Theory to facilitate this the community. It was found that the involvement of multi stakeholders supports the well-rounded learning experience for the children and teenagers in enchancing their awareness about the conservation of marine ecosystem and the life of under water. Online guest lecture from Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries as well as guided learning process by undergraduate students through their community service program are some of the influential initiatives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional retrospektif dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara total sampling, dengan sampel yang di pakai sebanyak 74. Diketahui prevalensi kadar ureum pada pasien GGK yang menjalani HD di RSPBA Bandar Lampung tahun 2019 – 2020 tertinggi sebanyak 73 responden (99%). Berdasarkan usia terbanyak adalah lansia awal sebanyak 27 responden (36%). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki – laki sebanyak 42 responden (57%). Berdasarkan lama pengobatan HD terbanyak > 6 bulan adalah 59 responden (80%). Berdasarkan lama pelaksanaan HD terbanyak 4 – 5 jam sebanyak 71 responden (96%). Prevalensi lama menjalani HD dengan kadar ureum pada pasien GGK tertinggi > 6 bulan pada usia berkategori lansia awal dengan jenis kelamin laki – laki, lama waktu pengobatan 4 – 5 jam, dan kadar ureum tinggi.

Abstract

Noise is a problem that often arises in the community. Several previous studies have found the potential of environmentally friendly natural materials to absorb sound. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and mechanical properties of acoustic boards based on the composition of a mixture of banana leaf, water hyacinth, and rice husk materials and to analyze the effect of the mixture of banana leaf, water hyacinth, and rice husk material composition. The acoustic board was then tested for physical properties, mechanical properties, and sound absorption coefficient (α) using the one-microphone impedance tube method. Making acoustic boards with a material and adhesive ratio of 70%:30%, and a comparison of variations in the composition of banana stem, water hyacinth, and rice husk materials for sample A (60%: 10%: 0%), sample B (20%: 0%: 50%), sample C (0%: 10%: 60%), and sample D (20%: 10%: 40%). The results of the research on physical and mechanical properties meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 01-4449-2006, namely the density value in all samples, moisture content in samples B, C, and D, and internal adhesive firmness in samples B and C. The test results of the sound absorption coefficient value of the acoustic board are categorized as being able to reduce noise by meeting the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 11654 standard, which is greater than 0.15. The highest sound absorption coefficient value is obtained by sample D at a thickness of 1 cm with a sound absorption coefficient value of 0.287.
