Abstract

Limbah cair kelapa sawit dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk bagi tanaman kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifkasi lapisan di bawah permukaan tanah khususnya di land application yang dapat digunakan sebagai rekomendasi lokasi pembuatan flatbed. Metode geolistrik resistivitas diterapkan untuk menduga lapisan di bawah permukaan tanah menggunkan konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger. Lintasan berjumlah 3 buah dengan panjang masing-masing 195 m. Data lapangan yang diperoleh kemudian dimodelkan menggunakan metode least squares inversion. Kedalaman lapisan yang diperoleh dari hasil inversi adalah 39,4 m. Hasil model dari ketiga lintasan, nilai resistivitas yang diperoleh adalah 8,54 Ωm hingga 1082 Ωm. Lapisan di bawah pemukaan diduga terdiri dari pasir, pasir lempungan, dan granodiorit lapuk. Lapisan pasir diduga memiliki nilai resistivitas sebesar 8,54 hingga 42,9 Ωm dan lapisan ini diduga mengandung air tanah. Lapisan pasir lempungan diduga memiliki nilai resistivitas sebesar 42,9 hingga 215 Ωm, dan lapukan batuan granodiorit memiliki nilai resistivitas sebesar 215 hingga 1082 Ωm. Lapisan pasir lempungan dan lapisan granodiorit lapuk yang direkomendasikan untuk pembangunan flatbed karena diduga berkategoi kurang permeable. Zona flatbed yang direkomendasikan pada lintasan L1 memiliki panjang total 135 m, lintasan L2 memiliki panjang total 140 m, dan lintasan L3 memiliki panjang 120 m. Pendugaan lapisan tanah dan rekomendasi posisi flatbed dapat digunakan oleh pemangku kepentingan untuk merancang dan membuat flatbed.

Abstract

Kalimantan Barat merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang dilalui oleh garis khatulistiwa dan memiliki tingkat kelembapan tinggi akibat curah hujan sepanjang tahun. Namun, suhu yang tinggi dan periode penurunan intensitas hujan dalam waktu yang lama pada wilayah ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kekeringan. Salah satu indeks yang digunakan untuk menilai tingkat kekeringan suatu wilayah adalah Aridity Index (AI) yang dihitung menggunakan metode Thornthwaite dengan mempertimbangkan rata-rata curah hujan dan suhu udara untuk menghitung evapotranspirasi potensialnya. Perhitungan AI menggunakan metode Thornthwaite telah berhasil dilakukan untuk periode 10 tahun (2012-2021) dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kekeringan di wilayah Kalimantan Barat berdasarkan AI sangat dipengaruhi oleh besar curah hujan yang ditunjukkan oleh besar korelasi bernilai positif pada tahun 2014 sebagai tahun terkering dan 2016 sebagai tahun terbasah yaitu +0,99 dan +0,75. Suhu udara memiliki korelasi bernilai negatif yakni -0,94 dan -0,88 sebagai faktor yang juga berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap perubahan nilai indeks kekeringan berdasarkan AI.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the subsurface structure of geothermal systems in the Bajawa area, East Nusa Tenggara, using gravity methods based on GGMplus 2013 satellite data. The analysis was conducted on complete Bouguer anomaly data that had been corrected and separated into regional and residual components using Butterworth filters. 3D modeling and 2D cross-section incisions were performed on regional anomalies, having density variations between 1.9 - 3.5 g/cm³, a range of regional anomaly values of 92-138 mGal and depths up to 4.43 km. Based on the results of the analysis of the distribution of rock density values, suspected rock formations as geothermal systems such as the presence of reservoirs from the Nangapanda formation (Np) with densities ranging from 1.9 - 2.66 g/cm³, host rocks from the Aimere Scoria formation (As), Andesite Sasa (Ss), Andesite Inie Lika (Ik), Andesite Mataloko (Mk), Andesite Bobo (Bb) and Andesite Siutoro (Si), Inerie Basalt (Ie), Wabela Basalt (Wa), Lahar Deposit (Lh) and Tuf Welas (Wt) with densities ranging from 2.49 - 2.8 g/cm³ and heat sources from Maumbawa Basalt (Mb) with densities ranging from 2.7 -3.5 g/cm³ and Andesite Wangka (Wn) with densities ranging from 1.9 -2.9 g/cm³. This finding strengthens the indication that the Bajawa area and its surroundings could be a potential prospect area for geothermal systems.

Abstract

A hydrogeological investigation using the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method was conducted in the vicinity of Jalan Tunas Harapan, Pal IX Village, to determine groundwater potential. The data acquisition involved four VES points with an inter-point spacing of 60 m-80 m. Inversion results yielded resistivity values ranging from 2.11 Ωm-203 Ωm, revealing subsurface lithology composed of clay, wet clay, sandy silt, and clayey sand layers. Groundwater potential was identified within the clayey sand layer (191 Ωm-203 Ωm), which is distributed across all four VES points. This layer is found at depths of 35.2 m-71.3 m in VES 01, 35.4 m-69.1 m in VES 02, 34.7 m-64.7 m in VES 03, and 33.3 m-67.1 m in VES 04.  These findings imply that the clayey sand layer functions as a viable aquifer zone capable of supporting groundwater availability. Based on the interpretation, groundwater drilling in the study area is recommended within the depth interval of 33.3 m-71.3 m.

Abstract

Parit Demang is an area with peatland used for residential purposes, so information on soil thickness in this area is very important for development planning. This study aims to identify peat soil thickness using the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration of the geoelectric method. Data was obtained through three measurement lines, each 50 m long. The 2D inversion modeling at the study site showed that the resistivity values of the peat layer ranged from 32.4 to 315 Ωm, with peat soil thickness between 2.3 to 5.5 m. The interpretation results were validated with soil sample drilling data. The layer located under the peat soil was identified as clay with resistivity between 1.56 to 15.2 Ωm. Information on peat soil thickness can be used as a basis for selecting soil improvement methods by the local community and related parties for development planning, particularly in the process of house construction.

Abstract

Bansir Darat is a sub-district that utilizes peatland for residential areas. Therefore, information about peatland thickness is essential for the community in the sub-district. This study aims to identify the thickness of peatland in the Bansir Darat sub-district. The geoelectric resistivity method using the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration was used in this measurement. Data collection was carried out on three tracks with a length of 50 m each and the smallest electrode spacing of 2 m. The obtained field data were inverted using the Least Squares Inversion method. The inversion results in the form of a resistivity cross-section with peatland soil estimated to have a resistivity value of 0.687 - 24.2 Ωm. The interpretation results indicate that the thickness of the peatland varies between 1.5 - 6 m. Information regarding the thickness of the peatland can be used in planning residential development by the local community.
