Abstract

Body posture condition is a body condition or body position of someone when do several kind of activities, for example sit, stand, walk, etc. Marking toward posture is very important in health aspect. Except for health, a body condition can be used in various things too, one of the example is in loT (Internet of Things), when body condition can controls electronic devices in house. Because of that, it needs a study of a system to clarify a body posture condition. In this study, the system is made in wearable device form, where the system can be paired to someone's body easily. Parameter which used for detect the body posture condition is a angle and acceleration in some body points that are chest, right thigh, and left tight. The parameter value be obtained from reading three sensors MPU6050 and be processed with Naive Bayes method in Raspberry Pi Zero W microcontroller. Naive Bayes is chosen as a method to clarify because Naive Bayes is a clarify method which has high accuracy and has fast computation performance. The system also can send the result to android application through Bluetooth protocol and the result can be shown in the application. From the result of system trial can be known error presentation of sensor reading MPU6050 is 1,392%. After that, the researcher also do trial system of Naive Bayes accuracy with 55 practice data and 28 trial data, from the trial, it found 100% accuracy with time computation during 4,178 ms (miliseconds).

Abstract

Technology development has created various kinds of technology improvement, especially in robotics. Legged-robots has several advantages; they can move in both smooth and rough areas, wavy, uneven or flat, climb the stairs, avoid and step in the distractions. One of the problem in designing a robot's ability is the robot's localization system to know the position in a certain time. Digital encoding technique is a series of combination that produces specific output such as binary as a response to one or more active input that is used to simplify data and can be built from a simple logic gate AND and OR. The digital encoding process start from the making of truth table, digital encoding technique formula, and simplification by K-MAP. Implementing digital encoding technique using 8 ultrasonic sensors to map 8 motor actions of the quadruped robot. Testing is done in three things; the accuracy of ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, digital encoding computing time, and the accuracy of classification result in digital encoding technique. From the test we can get robot's motor action accuracy by implementing digital encoding technique as much as 98% with the average computing time is around 0,15 seconds when one of the sensors is given a 7 cm incline and 0,17 seconds when one of the sensors is given a 20 cm incline.

Abstract

The use of electronic devices that are used excessively and uncontrolled by the tenants in a boarding house will certainly have a negative impact on the owner side in terms of economy. Many of the board owners who provide rules to not use some additional electronic equipment such as electronic kitchen equipment and when used it will incur additional costs. But the regulation is also much violated by the tenant without the knowledge of the owner of the boarding. In this study designed a system to find out what kind of electronic kitchen equipment plugged into electric socket to facilitate the monitoring of electrical appliances. The system designed using the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method as its classification method, NodeMCU as the system's main controller and YHDC SCT-013-100 sensor as the current reader sensor. The system will classify the kitchen utensils of rice cooker, blender, juicer, heater and mixer based on the total current parameters out of the socket. The five equipments are classified on 3-hole so resulting in 10 classes in their classification. Furthermore, the current data obtained will be sent to NodeMCU to perform the classification process using K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method. Results from the classification are then sent on Android smartphone. Based on the test results obtained percentage of 90.00% with a value of k = 1. The system can classify kitchen devices that are in use and require an average time of 10072.2 ms to perform data acquisition and require an average time of 12.4 ms for classification.

Abstract

Template Matching Algorithm is a simple method used to recognize patterns in an image. Template Matching Methods are often used to identify letters, numbers, fingerprint and other image matching images. In this research is made a system to detect type of mango fruit. There are 3 types of mangoes that can be detected, namely Manalagi, Arumanis, and Golek. The method used in this application is Template Matching, which is a statistical technique used to find two variables / matrices or more that are quantitative. This algorithm matches each pixel in a digital image matrix of mango from the image that becomes the template reference. The results of the experiments show that the classification of the type of mango fruit with Template Matching method can detect images of tested mangoes. The success rate of mango fruit detection is 70.83% of the test data of 24 images. Performance of Mango Type Detection System with Template Matching Method has average value of average speed of 4.075 seconds from 24 times testing.

Abstract

Robots with gripper can help users to grab objects in a place that is unattainable to humans. Users also do not need to directly interact with the object directly because the robot can be controlled wirelessly with the help of wifi and Android devices. As a substitute for the senses of taste on human skin is used FSR sensor (Force Sensitive Resistor). This sensor is used to obtain the value of the gripper's closeness when grabbing the object. To overcome the damage of the object, the gripper is implemented can stop automatically by using the threshold value. The threshold used is 552. The value of 552 is obtained from the average result on the 10 data acquisition of sensor values ​​using the FSR sensor with manual experiment. When the value of the sensor obtained through the threshold, then the robot gripper will automatically stop. This is done to prevent damage to the chicken egg object. From the test as much as 10 times on the robot gripper, obtained test results with 100% percentage that the system can stop gripper and chicken egg object is not damaged. From the test results obtained different pressure values ​​on each object. This may be due to layers of chicken egg object is different or the value of the sensor that keeps changing.

Abstract

Confusion and forget the location of the parking lot is something that usually happen. Especially for car users who park in a large area or in newly visited areas, it is troublesome for the user to find the car. Based on this problem, its needed a system that can help users to find the location of cars that have been parked via an android smartphone. In order to save the power, this system using finite state machine method that aims to apply the principle of low power work by using several states, that is sleep and wake. This system uses GPS Neo 6m which serves to get the coordinate point value of the car being parked, SIM800L serves for sending data to the user's smartphone applications, ATmega328p serves as processing input and output of the system, and the android smartphone applications to display the location to google maps. Based on the tests that have been done, the result obtained the average rating of current savings on the SIM800L components are 0.46A. It is hoped that this research can help cars users who is confused or forgotten about the location of their car park.

Abstract

Voice technology can be used as a control over various types of electronic equipment, including lights and fans. In its application the sentence used for control of the equipment is limited and must know what sentence can be used to use the system. Based on this problem, control fan and lights with implicitly command using voice. Arduino as a control system for lights and fans by using Android for sound processing with text processing methods. Voice data entered via Android is converted to text. Each sentence-shaped text is separated into unit words. Then each word is matched with a database that has been created previously using the stopword removal wordlist algorithm. The matching results are sent to Arduino and the data is processed to produce output in the form of light and fan control. From the test results, this system has a 100% success value in functional testing and testing of user voice input processing. In testing the success of the system to process the user's implicit sentence into the desired output, it has an accuracy of 96.67%. Furthermore, to test the performance of the application to process sentences, the system has an average time of 1 second increase according to the many words entered, while the sentence processing process increases by 200 nano seconds along with the number of input words.

Abstract

Egg hatching machine is one innovation in technology that is proven to increase production results in poultry farming. But the existing egg hatchery machine is considered still less efficient, because in terms of functionality, one unit of egg hatchery machine only serves to incubate just one particular egg species and can not be used to incubate different egg species. As the result based on this problem, come an idea for designing temperature and humidity control sistems using the weight and color of poultry eggs on poultry egg Incubator for chicken egg, duck egg and quail egg. This sistem is created using a load cell sensor to detect the egg weight, color sensor TCS3200 to detect egg color, DHT11 sensor to detect air temperature and humidity and arduino uno as the data processor of the sensor. The process of detecting eggs done by using fuzzy logic. This sistem is able to adjust the temperature and humidity values ​​in the Incubator automatically according to the egg species detected. Adjust the temperature value using a bulb lamp which functions as a heating, while for humidity use humidifier which functions to increase the value of air humidity. From the results of fuzzy logic testing obtained error percentage of 0.001%, and aktuator conditions to adjust the temperature and humidity values is in compliance with the required conditions.

Abstract

The phenomenon that happens a lot among us everyday about the number of self-documenting behavior at all times is very close to our lives. With a variety of reasons to just want to document yourself as a marker of memorable activities or just want to publish it on social media. Just like the terms selfie and wefie are very familiar to our ears. However, there are still problems with taking pictures taken manually. Both in terms of the cellphone itself that does not have a front camera so the user cannot determine the correct position. Or the reach of the user's hand that is not enough to get the ideal photo position. Based on these problems, research is used to at least automate activities carried out manually. So that it can help users to be more comforTabel and effective. In this study using two microprocessors namely raspberry pi as a container for coding functions and Arduino Uno as a servo motor drive. This holder moves 90 degrees to the left and 90 degrees to the right. the function of this camera holder is to position the face right in the middle of the frme with an 80% success rate.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that citizens rely heavily by the presence of a motor vehicle. Recently many cases which killed unexpectedly in a car with parked car burning conditions, however. The use of vehicles (cars) and according to news of the gas poisoning caused by carbon monoxide (CO). The existence of this monitoring tool is expected to reduce the risk of death is often the case. To be able to differentiate the car are road conditions and stopped at the gyro sensor use in put on the handbrake of automobiles. To find out the pollutants on the vehicle using Sensor MQ-07. In making the monitoring system will be made some state such as sleep or wake state and should be able to switch state with input from users so that applied the state machine for the low power mechanism in carbon monoxide monitoring system. Due to this system will work in quite a long period of time, then the unambiguous method of low power to reduce the burden of resource use power bank. Performance low power is required so that the system can last longer because of the relatively low power used when the system is not in use. Features of low power itself one is Sleep mode power down deadly ATmega328P some functionality. Current testing being performed generates, that the current used on the system running normally is 181.02 mA whereas when the system is in a State of Sleep only has a current of 138.2 mA. So the system is successfully reducing the current use of 42 mA.
