Abstract

This study analyzes the Indonesian government's plans to develop a forest city in the new capital (IKN). This study uses a qualitative approach by examining several relevant official government documents. It is done by thematic analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the forest city development plan in IKN is based on the principles; of conservation of natural resources and wildlife habitats, connected with nature, low carbon development, development of water resources, controlled development, and community involvement. In addition, the government has also calculated the benefits gained from the development of the forest city economically, socially, and environmentally. However, the government cannot only calculate the benefits but also considers other negative aspects that could occur, such as forest ecosystem problems. Development that is not carried out carefully can cause environmental damage and threaten survival. This study encourages the government to act following an orientation towards quality and sustainable environmental management. This can only be done if the government implements strong and strict regulations. The government also needs to consider financial problems and socio-economic challenges. This is useful for ensuring sustainable development can run harmoniously between the government, the environment, and the social community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced in preparing capacity building in the context of the development of the new capital city of Indonesia and identify strategies that can be implemented to overcome these challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing data from secondary sources, such as official government documents, research reports, and related publications. The analysis tool that is maximized is NVivo 12 Plus. The results showed that several challenges must be overcome in preparing the capacity building for developing the new capital city (IKN). These challenges include limited skilled human resources, budgetary constraints, gaps in knowledge and skills, coordination and collaboration between stakeholders, technological change, and innovation. These challenges affect the effectiveness and efficiency of development, as well as the sustainability of the development of the new capital city. In overcoming these challenges, the recommended strategy includes the government's commitment to providing adequate resources, developing supportive policies, and close cooperation between all relevant stakeholders. In addition, a participatory, inclusive, and sustainable approach is considered important to ensure the success of capacity building. Through the involvement of all parties, recognition of the needs and aspirations of the community, and the use of a sustainable approach, the development of the new capital city can run well and provide sustainable benefits for local communities.

Abstract

Issues regarding tourism have been integrated with aspects of sport and are now known as sport tourism. This research aims to evaluate published documents available globally to serve as a guide in understanding this context correctly and initiating policies needed by the Indonesian government. The method used is a bibliometric analysis approach with data sources from the Scopus database. Analysis tools use Vosviewer and Nvivo 12 Plus. This study finds that global research trends on sport tourism policy have influenced the interests of researchers worldwide. This is proven by the high number of recently published documents. Several research themes require further exploration, including tourist destinations and tourist industry. This can be a basis for future research in building perspectives and unravelling other complexities. The implications of these findings also contribute to Indonesia in formulating future policies. Several vital aspects that can be a stepping stone for the Indonesian government are promoting tourism destinations, organizing international sporting events, developing infrastructure, and empowering local communities as essential elements in creating a sustainable sports tourism ecosystem. Responsiveness to global changes is also a critical point that needs to be considered.

Abstract

This study examined the challenges and opportunities for telenursing services’ success in remote regions of Indonesia, particularly the role of health communication in addressing these issues. This research was done using Online Research Methods (ORMs) and analysed using NVivo 12 Plus. The results reveal the desperate need to use telenursing to enhance access to and efficiency and quality of services, especially in regions far removed from healthcare facilities. The analysis showed the existence of significant barriers to the care and technological infrastructure of the area, the scant digital literacy among healthcare providers and patients, and fears concerning data security and privacy. Additionally, there is a lack of sufficient government policies and resource funding, which would otherwise improve the situation. To respond to such challenges, this study advocates for adopting other tools such as health communication models, particularly promotional and trust-building therapeutic communication designed for interaction with patients at the clinic, to increase trust and responsiveness among healthcare workers towards telemedicine. Programmatic, regulatory, and institutional documents, schemes, and strategies for digital literacy, public advocacy, and services for training healthcare workers of advanced age are also enabling and essential factors for the practical and sustained application of telenursing in Indonesia.
