Abstract

Abstract Protection for witnesses and victims is a form of government in protecting or providing security for witnesses and victims before and after giving testimony in a criminal case that they have seen and experienced themselves. Meanwhile, fornication is any type of act that violates decency and decency or can also be a vile act that falls within the realm of lust, such as touching the genitals, kissing, touching the breasts and so on. Researchers are required to understand the principles in the applicable laws and regulations that have been established in addition to using a conceptual approach so that in this writing they can be found in the laws. The results of this research show that: (a) Legal protection is an illustration of the working of the legal function to realize legal goals, namely justice. Benefits and legal certainty. Legal protection is protection given to legal subjects in accordance with legal regulations, both in the form of preventive (prevention) and in the form of recessive (coercion), both written and unwritten in the context of enforcing legal regulations. (b) The form of legal protection for witnesses and victims is the view of citizens or society that in a government regulation there must be protection for every person who provides information for the purpose of investigation. Based on the above, this research recommends: The government and the authorities in providing protection services to witnesses and victims, especially victims of sexual abuse, need to consider stricter and more effective protection services provided to witnesses and victims of sexual abuse. Abstract

The popularity of the local Javanese music “Dangdut Campursari” increased dramatically from 2019 to 2020. Didi Kempot, who is nicknamed the God Father of Broken Heart, is a new phenomenon in Javanese music in the country. This research wants to see how the modern Campursari dangdut lovers “Sobat Ambyar” describe the identity of their community and see this phenomenon from the perspective of popular culture which includes trends, adaptability, and pop music consumerism. We documented Sobat Ambyar’s chat on social media, they managed and conducted in-depth interviews with the Instagram fanbase admin @sobatambyar. The results of this study indicated that Sobat Ambyar identifies themselves with the feelings, attitudes, and emotions of the songs sung by Didi Kempot. These identities tend to be sad and they are proud of that sadness. This Campursari has become a new commodity for industry and is popularized through the ways of modern culture which is simulated and marketed. Based on these findings, this study suggests that Sobat Ambyar remain authentic so that they can block mass culture that the younger generation is not aware of.Keyword : Fans, Instagram, Modern Campursari Music, Sobat Ambyar.

Abstract

The intense business competition is also evident in the tourism sector, including at Camplong Beach. To increase tourist visits, effective marketing communication strategies based on environmental sustainability are required. This study aims to analyze how environmentally-based marketing communication strategies are applied at Camplong Beach, focusing on raising awareness and interest among tourists in preserving the beach environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with field research methods involving interviews, observations, and documentation. This research refers to the IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) theory which consists of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing. The findings indicate that Camplong Beach implements several marketing communication strategies, including: (a) Advertising through social media highlighting natural beauty and calls for environmental preservation, (b) Personal selling that educates tourists about beach cleanliness, (c) Sales promotions such as discounts for groups, (d) Public relations through beach clean-up activities and collaborations with related institutions, and (e) Direct marketing through personal experiences and proposal submissions to stakeholders. These strategies have proven to attract more tourists and support sustainable tourism concepts at Camplong Beach.

Abstract

Abstract Election is a means of people's sovereignty to elect members of the DPR, DPD, DPRD, President and vice President. Law Number 7 of 2017 regulates various aspects of the implementation of elections in Indonesia, including the neutrality of village heads in carrying out their duties and responsibilities during the Election process. The village head has an important role as an election organizer at the village or village level. This research aims to ensure that the head of Tanjung village can carry out his role neutrally and free from interventions and intimidation that affect the course of the 2024 election. This research is an empirical research, the location of the research was carried out in Tanjung Pajarakan village with the method of Interview, Observation, Document Analysis, Literature Study and Technical Data Analysis The results of the research show that the head of Tanjung village has a strategic role in overseeing the 2024 election process at the village level but the head of Tanjung village is also faced with various challenges, such as pressure and intervention from parties who want to influence the election process at the village level Keywords:Neutrality, Village chief, General election

Abstract

Yang Hilang dalam Cinta is an Indonesian web series that addresses the issue of toxic relationships. The series describes how bad the effects of a toxic relationship can be for someone, such as what Dara's character experienced, namely physical and verbal violence from her partner. However, many people are still unaware that they are in a toxic relationship. This study aims to find out how the issue of toxic relationships is represented in the web series Yang Hilang dalam Cinta. The research method used is a qualitative research method using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis technique which uses the terms denotation, connotation and myth. The results of this study indicate that there is a toxic relationship that makes someone feel physically and mentally unsafe for the person in it. Signs of a toxic relationship include physical violence, uncontrolled emotions, dishonesty, possessiveness and excessive jealousy.

Abstract

Kolaborasi antara universitas dan masyarakat di Indonesia merupakan elemen penting dalam pengabdian masyarakat, sesuai dengan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Namun, kolaborasi ini sering menghadapi tantangan, seperti kesenjangan antara kebutuhan masyarakat dan orientasi akademis universitas, serta komunikasi yang kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kolaborasi ini. Menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini menyintesis berbagai studi terkait untuk mengevaluasi pendekatan yang efektif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa strategi partisipatif dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital sangat penting untuk meningkatkan relevansi dan keberlanjutan program pengabdian masyarakat. Partisipasi aktif dari komunitas dan penggunaan teknologi dapat memperbaiki komunikasi, menyelaraskan tujuan, serta memastikan program-program lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya komunikasi terbuka dan partisipasi aktif dalam setiap tahap kolaborasi. Rekomendasinya adalah universitas dan masyarakat harus terus mengembangkan strategi inovatif yang fokus pada keterlibatan aktif dan teknologi. Dengan pendekatan ini, program pengabdian masyarakat diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang lebih besar dan berkelanjutan, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembangunan sosial di Indonesia. Collaboration between universities and communities in Indonesia is an important element in community service, in accordance with the Tridharma of Higher Education. However, these collaborations often face challenges, such as gaps between community needs and university academic orientation, as well as ineffective communication. This research aims to identify challenges and opportunities in improving the effectiveness of this collaboration. Using the literature review method, this research synthesizes various related studies to evaluate effective approaches. The results show that participatory strategies and the use of digital technology are essential to improve the relevance and sustainability of community service programs. Active participation from the community and the use of technology can improve communication, align goals, and ensure programs are more in line with community needs. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of open communication and active participation in every stage of collaboration. The recommendation is that universities and communities should continue to develop innovative strategies that focus on active engagement and technology. With this approach, community service programs are expected to have a greater and sustainable positive impact, contributing significantly to social development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Gemah Beach, a prominent tourism icon in Tulungagung, has gained popularity on social media and substantially contributes to both local and governmental revenue. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 led to a significant decline in visitor numbers, necessitating strategic development efforts to revive interest in the post-pandemic era. This study aims to analyze the policies and factors influencing visitor interest, as well as the role of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in managing the beach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, with the researcher serving as the primary instrument. The data was processed qualitatively using purposive sampling, and validity was ensured through interactive analysis techniques and triangulation. The findings reveal that Pokdarwis successfully increased visitor numbers post-pandemic by improving human resources, enhancing infrastructure, and promoting the beauty of Gemah Beach through trending social media campaigns.Pantai Gemah, ikon pariwisata di Tulungagung, populer di media sosial dan signifikan bagi pendapatan masyarakat dan pemerintah. Wisata ini mengalami penurunan pengunjung akibat pandemi 2019. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan untuk menarik kembali minat pengunjung pasca pandemi. Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) di Pantai Gemah telah berusaha mengembangkan kelembagaan dan pengaturan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebijakan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi minat pengunjung serta peran Pokdarwis dalam pengelolaan pantai. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama dan diolah secara kualitatif menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis interaktif dan triangulasi digunakan untuk memastikan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pokdarwis mampu meningkatkan kembali pengunjung pasca pandemi melalui peningkatan SDM, perbaikan dan penambahan sarana prasarana, serta penyebaran informasi tentang keindahan Pantai Gemah melalui media sosial.

Abstract

This study analyzes the representation of the Turkish government in news published on Hürriyet.com during May 2024, following the Gaza events of 7 October 2023. Using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, the research examines text (micro), discursive practice (meso), and social practice (macro) dimensions. At the micro level, the study identifies the use of formal diplomatic terms like güven mektubu (letter of credentials) and büyükelçi (ambassador), as well as emotionally charged diction and complex sentence structures that blend formality with criticism of Israeli policies. At the meso level, the online platform facilitates broad information dissemination to shape public opinion and bolster Turkish diplomacy under Erdoğan’s leadership. At the macro level, the coverage reveals a bias favoring Palestine and critiquing Israel, reflecting Türkiye’s political stance. The findings highlight Hürriyet.com's role in portraying Türkiye as a supporter of human rights and international justice, reinforcing its positive image domestically and globally.

Abstract

Pandawara Group is a community of young environmental activists who have gained widespread attention for their waste cleanup campaigns in Indonesia. Pandawara Group utilizes the social media platform TikTok to reach a larger audience. This research aims to explore how digital technology and social media are used and influence environmental action among Generation Z. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the content strategy of the TikTok social media platform. Through a qualitative approach, this research analyzes their content strategy in the context of digital ecology. The research examined eight TikTok videos with the highest number of likes on Pandawara Group's account to evaluate user engagement patterns and content elements that support campaign effectiveness. In addition, interviews were conducted with Pandawara followers at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University to explore their perceptions of Pandawara's hygiene campaign through digital platforms. The results showed that Pandawara's authentic and visually appealing content successfully moved audiences, especially the younger generation, towards environmental activism. The study also found that their strategy of emotional storytelling and community engagement created a strong bond with their followers. In addition, the viral nature of their content significantly extended the reach of the message to a global audience. The discussion in this study highlights how such digital strategies are instrumental in creating sustainable impact for environmental advocacy. The conclusion of this study is that digital platforms are highly effective for strengthening grassroots environmental movements and suggests further research on the role of social media in ecological advocacy.

Abstract

In today's digital age, a more critical approach is needed to understand the social and ethical implications of Artificial Intelegence (AI) on future corporate governance, including human oversight in the application of AI itself. The aim of this study is to analyze how three international media outlets, DQ India, The Independent and Business Insider, portray the adoption of AI-based Chief Executive Officer or abbriviated as CEO's in the context of corporate governance. Using Entman's framing analysis, it identifies the themes, narratives and ideologies in the news about AI in corporate governance and examines how differences in media ideology influence the view of this technology. Stakeholder and shareholder theory is used to identify how the media connects AI to traditional theories in the world of corporate identity. The findings reveal the existence of the media's political economy as the main axis, showing that DQ India views AI as a solution to improve operational efficiency and reduce reliance on human managers. In contrast, The Independent takes a more cautious view, considering the potential risks and ethical implications of AI adoption. Business Insider, on the other hand, focused on the financial benefits that companies can realize by using AI in business management.Keyword: Corporate Identity; Digital Leadership; Framing Analysis; Political Economy of Media; Stakeholder Theory.ABSTRAKDi era serba digital saat ini perlu ada pendekatan yang lebih kritis dalam memahami dampak sosial dan etika Kecerdasan Artifisial (AI) dalam kepemimpinan masa depan, termasuk pengawasan manusia dalam penerapan AI itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana tiga media internasional, DQ India, The Independent, dan Business Insider, membingkai adopsi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) berbasis AI dalam konteks kepemimpinan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Framing Entman, diarahkan untuk mengidentifikasi tema, narasi, dan ideologi yang terkandung dalam berita tentang AI dalam kepemimpinan, serta bagaimana perbedaan ideologi media mempengaruhi perspektif terhadap teknologi ini. Teori pemangku kepentingan dan pemegang saham digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana media menghubungkan AI dengan teori tradisional terkait identitas korporasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya pusara ekonomi politik media sebagai poros utama yang menunjukkan bahwa DQ India memandang AI sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada manajer manusia. Sebaliknya, The Independent menyajikan pandangan yang lebih hati-hati dengan mempertimbangkan potensi risiko dan penerapan etis dari adopsi AI.
