Abstract

Setiap da’i perlu memperhatikan metode dakwah untuk keefektifan dakwahnya. Pemilihan metode dakwah tersebut harus dapat menyesuaikan kondisi dan situasi mad’u (objek dakwah) sehingga dakwah dapat berjalan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode dakwah Nyai Naimah yang digunakan dalam Program Dialog Agama di Radio Nada FM Sumenep sekaligus motif dan kepuasan masyarakat Sumenep terhadap dakwahnya. Konsep yang digunakan untuk menganalisis bentuk dakwah tersebut diambilkan dari Al-Qur’an surah An-Nahl ayat 125 dan penerimaan masyarakat menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratification. Penelitian kali ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode dakwah yang digunakan Nyai Naimah sesuai dengan konsep Al-Qur’an yaitu Mujadalah billati hiya ahsan. Sebuah metode dengan cara diskusi atau bertukar pikiran yang baik tanpa adanya paksaan dan memberatkan kepada semua pihak dalam dakwah. Sedangkan, motif masyarakat Sumenep dalam mendengarkan dakwah tersebut untuk menambah pengetahuan keagamaan sekaligus menciptakan jiwa yang tenang, untuk mencari jawaban terkait problematika hidup berdasar hukum Islam, untuk mengubah perilaku menjadi lebih positif sehingga bisa diamalkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode dakwah tersebut juga memberikan kesempatan bertanya sehingga bisa mendapatkan konsumsi ceramah sesuai kebutuhan, situasi, dan kondisi audien.

Abstract

Abstract. The government's move to suppress the spread of the covid-19 virus in Indonesia by limiting the meeting of a number of people has an impact on many lines of life including higher education institutions. Starting from 2020, the learning system undergoes the most fundamental change in the history of the transformation of the Education system. Through government program policies, learning that was initially held face-to-face then replaced with virtual meetings, the transformation of learning media is also massive, where there is a discussion of online learning media that support the implementation of virtual lectures becomes the main prerequisite. The development of communication technology plays an important role to be an option in an effort to provide learning media that can be utilized. Social media that appeared to support the learning management system. Using social media in order to trigger the quality of student learning by utilizing all the ease of communicating and sharing information owned by the media for the education or learning process becomes more effective and efficient and accelerates information as a whole. The method of the research is Mixed method research, were to combine the quantitative and qualitative methods used in this study with the aim of identifying students' digital literacy competencies related to learning media by filling out questionnaires to a total of 120 students. All students who filled out the questionnaire were students who had participated in online learning and practicums on campus. and also conducting in-depth interviews on students to find out their opinions regarding social media to support their learning process. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS and analyzed using descriptive methods.

Abstract

Legalitas pernikahan beda agama di Indonesia masih menjadi polemik di kalangan masyarakat, di mana realitas sosial ini terlihat pada tindakan nekat sebagian warga negara yang melakukannya. Meskipun UU Perkawinan No. 1/1974 Pasal 2 ayat (1) menyerahkan status pernikahan beda agama berdasarkan keyakinan masing-masing, namun NU, MUI, dan Muhammadiyah telah menyepakati bahwa pernikahan beda agama hukumnya haram dalam segala dimensinya. Kontradiksi antara pandangan empat mazhab dan teks al-Qur'an inilah yang menjadi fokus studi literatur ini, dengan menggunakan rumusan Lajnah Bathsul Masail NU, Komisi Fatwa MUI, dan Majilis Tarjih Muhammadiyah sebagai sumber utama. Dengan menerapkan teori al-Qa'idah al-Usuliyyah al-Lugawiyyah dan al-Qa'idah al-Usuliyyah al-Tasyri'iyyah, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa NU menggunakan langkah-langkah seperti memahami masalah, menghimpun pendapat para ulama, dan membatasi pendapat hanya pada kelompok Syafi'iyah. Sementara itu, MUI menggunakan langkah-langkah seperti memahami masalah, menelusuri dalil dari al-Qur'an dan hadis, menganalisis melalui kajian bahasa, merujuk pendapat ulama sebagai dalil pendukung, dan memilih pendapat yang lebih maslahat. Di sisi lain, Muhammadiyah menggunakan langkah-langkah seperti menelusuri dalil melalui teks yang sarih, menganalisis melalui kajian semantik, memperhatikan pendapat ulama sebagai dalil pendukung, dan mentarjih pendapat dengan menggunakan sadd alzariah. Dari ketiga rumusan tersebut, muncul dua perbedaan utama, yaitu terkait eksistensi Ahli Kitab di era kekinian dan perbedaan cara pandang dalam menyikapi pernikahan antara laki-laki muslim dengan perempuan Ahli Kitab.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the conspiracy phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic as disseminated by the Instagram account @unexplnd. This account boasts 842 thousand followers and stands as one of the largest social media propagating the concept of COVID-19 conspiracy theories in Indonesia. Primary data is derived from posts on this account, and secondary data is obtained through interviews with four followers who actively engage in commenting and harbor beliefs in the existence of conspiracies. The research corpus is subsequently scrutinized employing the conceptual framework delineated by Douglas, Sutton, and Cichocka (2017), which delineates the emergence of conspiracies through epistemic, existential, and social motives. The findings of this investigation reveal that incidents perceived as random chance occurrences, motivated by the desire to preserve comfort and freedom, along with suspicion or resentment towards particular entities, serve as grounds for endorsing COVID-19 pandemic conspiracy theories. Furthermore, exposure to media presenting conspiracy theories, such as the Instagram account @unexplnd, contributes to an augmented belief in such theories among proponents. Conspiracy theorists desire to raise awareness among the general populace regarding conspiracy theories by disseminating information containing conspiracy narratives across various media channels.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the content of Islamic media portals regarding the issue of faith in the online media Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id. The author analyzes how Islamic media framing looks at the issue of faith, which is often discussed in everyday life, on the media portals Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id. The author also analyzes the development of Islamic media in Indonesia by referring to the history of Islamic media in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative study in which the author uses Robert Entman's framing analysis method to analyze Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id media portals from an Islamic perspective in their media articles. This study concludes that Islamic media portals have experienced significant development, especially the emergence of new media related to the organizations they support with their media base on the Internet after the new order, framing analysis obtained the conclusion that between Muslim.or.id and Nu.or.id in the discussion of Islam, it can be seen that both contribute to each other, but judging from the content of the posts that Muslim.or.id more often contains updates in its media content compared to Nu.or.id media, which looks more waiting for the movement of conservative media religious narrative discourse.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi antara pengasuh atau perawat dengan orang tua lanjut usia (lansia) di Pondok Jompo Panti Al-Ishlah, Kota malang. Teori Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Komunikasi Empatik menjadi dasar dalam memahami dinamika relasi yang terjadi dalam organisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan lima pengasuh di Panti Jompo Pondok Al-Ishlah sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi empatik antara pengasuh dan lansia tidak hanya menjadi aspek penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tetapi juga merupakan bagian integral dari tugas pengasuh dalam merawat lansia. Komunikasi empatik digunakan untuk mengatasi berbagai situasi, seperti menenangkan lansia yang sedang sedih atau merindukan keluarga mereka, serta untuk berkomunikasi dengan lansia yang sulit diajak berbicara. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pengasuh dalam berkomunikasi dengan lansia termasuk kesulitan komunikasi dengan mereka yang mengalami gangguan pikun dan gangguan pendengaran. Oleh karena itu, komunikasi nonverbal menjadi strategi utama dalam menyampaikan pesan kepada lansia yang mengalami gangguan pendengaran. This research aims to determine the communication process between caregivers and elderly parents at the Panti Al-Ishlah Nursing Home, Malang City. Theories of Interpersonal Communication and Empathic Communication are the basis for understanding the relationship dynamics that occur in the organization. This research used qualitative methods with five caregivers at the Pondok Al-Ishlah Nursing Home as research subjects. The research results show that empathetic communication between caregivers and the elderly is not only an important aspect of daily life but also an integral part of the caregiver's duties in caring for the elderly. Empathetic communication is used to overcome various situations, such as calming elderly people who are sad or missing their family, as well as to communicate with elderly people who are difficult to talk to. Challenges faced by caregivers in communicating with the elderly include communication difficulties with those who experience dementia and hearing loss. Therefore, nonverbal communication is the main strategy for conveying messages to elderly people who have hearing loss.

Abstract

The coverage of the "police shooting police" case in Indonesia has been in the public spotlight and has led to various perspectives in the mass media. Tirto.id media, as one of the leading news platforms, seeks to apply the concept of constructive journalism in its reporting. This study aims to determine the extent to which Tirto.id implements the elements of constructive journalism in the news related to the case. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to reveal the application of constructive journalism in the news of "police shooting police" in Tirto.id media. The objects of this research are 21 news articles published between July 11, 2022 and August 17, 2022. The constructive journalism theory used includes five elements: solutions, future orientation, depolarization, constructive interviewing, and Rosling. The results showed that out of 42 downloaded news articles, 21 analyzed news articles successfully applied at least two elements of constructive journalism. These news not only provided solutions, but also highlighted future orientation, reduced polarization, conducted constructive interviews, and used data to show progress in handling cases. The news presented by Tirto.id also accommodates the interests of the audience by emphasizing human rights and the law in favor of the shooting victim, Brigadier J. In conclusion, although Tirto.id has tried to implement constructive journalism, there is still room for improvement, especially in integrating all elements of constructive journalism in every news story.

Abstract

Women often consider Korean drama films more preferred because the stories focus on romance, emotions, and interpersonal relationships. Male fans of Korean drama films are considered new and unique, but a negative stigma is often attached to them in Indonesia. Labels such as "weird," "unmanly," and "melancholy" are often applied. This point of view can influence how certain men see and are attracted to Korean drama films. This study aims to find out how men see Korean drama films and how these films affect their lives. Purposive sampling was used to select informants for this study, which included a total of seven people. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach. This study used interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data. The data analysis process used in this study is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. According to research findings, men who like Korean dramas have a favorable opinion of the Korean Wave program. Everyone has different tastes and perspectives on Korean Wave programming. In addition, Korean films and dramas have also influenced the lifestyle of some fans. Some fans may be inspired by fashion trends, hairstyles, or lifestyles featured in Korean dramas. In addition, the Korean Wave can also affect fans' interest in music, food, and travel to South Korea. However, it is important to note that these perceptions and influences can vary between individuals. Film Drama Korea sering dianggap lebih disukai oleh perempuan karena ceritanya yang fokus pada romansa, emosi, dan hubungan antarpribadi. Laki-laki penggemar film Drama Korea dianggap sebagai hal baru dan unik, namun di Indonesia seringkali disematkan stigma negatif terhadap mereka. Label seperti "aneh", "tidak jantan", dan "melankolis" sering diterapkan. Sudut pandang ini dapat memengaruhi bagaimana pria tertentu melihat dan tertarik pada film drama Korea. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pria melihat film Drama Korea dan bagaimana film tersebut mempengaruhi kehidupan pria. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih informan untuk penelitian ini, yang mencakup 7 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Proses analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Menurut temuan penelitian, pria yang menyukai film Drama Korea memiliki pendapat yang baik tentang program Korean Wave. Setiap orang memiliki selera dan sudut pandang yang berbeda tentang pemrograman Korean Wave. Selain itu, film dan Drama Korea juga telah mempengaruhi gaya hidup sebagian penggemarnya. Beberapa penggemar dapat terinspirasi oleh tren fashion, gaya rambut, atau gaya hidup yang ditampilkan dalam drama Korea. Selain itu, Korean Wave juga dapat mempengaruhi minat penggemar dalam hal musik, makanan, dan wisata ke Korea Selatan.  Namun, penting untuk dicatat bahwa persepsi dan pengaruh ini dapat bervariasi antara individu.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effectiveness of public service advertisements published by the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia's 'Remember Your Mother's'. This advertisement was launched in order to invite the public to break the chain of spread of COVID-19. The number of samples in this research was taken from students of the Communication Studies Program at Merdeka University, Brawijaya University, Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University and Gajayana University. Advertising effectiveness research use the EPIC methodology as outlined by The Nielsen Company. The EPIC paradigm comprises four dimensions: Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, and Communication. The results of this research show that the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia's 'Remember Your Mother's' campaign can have a significant impact. From these results, empathy is the most dominant dimension. The results of hypothesis testing show that the empathy variable of 91.18% has a positive sign, indicating that this variable influences audience interest. The effectiveness of advertising with empathy obtained by the most dominant indicator is the "remember mother's message campaign" advertisement in attracting students' attention which is influenced by the characteristics of the advertisement in the form of advertisements that have specific objectives and are clearly supported by advertising stages, the "remember mother's message" campaign with stages including: touching the audience's feelings to find out the level of liking for the advertisement that is shown, the level of attention of the audience towards the advertisement, whether the existing advertisement is good or not according to consumers.

Abstract

The Instagram @kulinersby social media account is one of the platforms that has been promoting culinary tourism in the city of Surabaya since 2014. This study aims to look at optimizing the @kulinersby Instagram account as one of the culinary tourism promotion media. Several social media marketing concepts are used to see how the optimization works, namely content creation, content sharing, connecting, and community building. All uploads and interactions of followers on the account become primary data sources, then compared with secondary data in interviews with the account manager, namely Syafira Defani Putri. The results of this study indicate that @kulinersby has implemented good management in several aspects, especially for content management, starting from its creation, content sharing such as consistently uploading content and sharing food themes, to connecting with followers through interaction and discussion, as well as collaborating with foodvloggers. Meanwhile, for community building, @kulinersby is still adapting with many communities to be uniform and work well together. This research suggests that @kulinersby owners take full advantage of Instagram by considering various new features and Instagram business insights as evaluation and development material.
