Abstract

This study investigates the influence of regret, alternative attractiveness, and subjective norms on switching intentions among users of NIVEA Body Serum in Bandar Lampung. Amid growing competition in the skincare industry, understanding the psychological and social factors driving brand switching behavior has become critical for companies aiming to retain customer loyalty. The research adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data from 120 respondents who are current or former users of NIVEA Body Serum. Data were gathered through structured online questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that both regret and alternative attractiveness significantly influence consumers’ intentions to switch brands. Regret arises when users perceive that an alternative brand could offer better performance, prompting dissatisfaction with the current product. Similarly, the attractiveness of competing products, such as those offering superior quality or affordability, further motivates users to consider switching. Conversely, subjective norms—social pressures from peers or significant others—did not significantly affect switching intention in this context. These findings imply that internal evaluations and personal product experiences outweigh external social influences in shaping brand switching decisions. The study contributes to consumer behavior literature by emphasizing the role of cognitive and emotional factors in brand loyalty decisions, specifically within the skincare sector. It also provides practical insights for marketers to address user dissatisfaction and to enhance their value proposition to mitigate switching behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of inquiry methods that can improve students' critical thinking skills on the concept of structure and function of plant tissues at the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh (Aceh State Sports School). The population of this research is the many 112 students of class XI of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh. The sample in this study were 26 students in class XI-1 as an experimental class and 26 students in class XI-2 as a control class. The method used is a descriptive method with a structural approach. Data collection is done by test techniques and data processing using the t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that the average ability or average value of class XI-1 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test received 80.7. While the average value of class XI-2 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test gets 70. Based on the price of t-counts and t-tables at a significant level of 0.05 with db: 50 of the sample class XI, then t- the count is 6.40 and the t-table is 1.66. So that the hypothesis proposed the implementation of inquiry methods can improve students' critical thinking skills on the concept of the structure and function of plant tissues in the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh is Accepted. It is recommended that this research can increase knowledge through the use of inquiry methods in all biological science subject matter.

Abstract

Pesantren adalah tempat dimana para santri belajar ilmu agama dan ilmu umum lainnya. Namun, pelajaran di luar pelajaran agama kurang diminati oleh para santri. Hal tersebut disebabkan salah satunya karena kurangnya fasilitas-fasilitas yang mendukung kegiatan sains. Padahal pendidikan sains ini sangat penting. Pendidikan sains bisa untuk pembinaan dan pembentukan nilai-nilai kepribadian santri berupa aspek kerjasama, saling menghargai, sikap sportifitas dan solidaritas, serta percaya diri. Untuk itu, pihak Pondok Pesantren Jabal Rahmah menyusun program unggulan yaitu tahfiz, bahasa, dan sains. Dengan fasilitas yang ada, pihak pesantren sudah mendukung kegiatan tahfiz dan bahasa dengan baik. Namun masih kurang dengan kegiatan sains. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini dapat membantu kegiatan sains yang ada di Pondok Pesantren  Jabal Rahmah agar pesantren bisa terlihat lebih modern dan terbuka terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Green Brand Positioning, Attitude and Green Brand Knowledge on Consumer Purchase Intention towards Mineral Botanica products (Study on Consumers in Bandar Lampung City). The phenomenon of increasing public awareness of environmental issues encourages skincare manufacturers to implement desire-based marketing strategies. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample in this study was 200 respondents who were skincare consumers in Bandar Lampung, without age or generation restrictions. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, and data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the variables Green Brand Positioning, Attitude and Green Brand Knowledge had a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. These findings indicate that brand placement that is oriented towards environmentally friendly values, positive consumer attitudes towards green brands, and good consumer knowledge about the brand can increase purchase intention towards Mineral Botanica products. This study is expected to be a strategic reference for skincare industry players in strengthening the image of sustainable brands in the local market.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of social media has led to the increasing use of influencers in digital marketing. This study examines the effect of influencer credibility comprising attractiveness, expertise, and trustworthiness on consumers’ purchase intention, with a focus on followers of TikTok influencer Tasya Farasya. Data were obtained from 180 respondents using purposive sampling and analyzed through multiple linear regression, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) using SPSS software. The findings reveal that attractiveness has no significant effect on purchase intention. In contrast, both expertise and trustworthiness significantly influence consumer intentions to purchase cosmetic products. This study contributes to the literature by clarifying which dimensions of influencer credibility drive consumer behavior. The results offer practical implications for the beauty industry in selecting credible influencers and for influencers in maintaining expertise and authenticity to enhance promotional effectiveness.

Abstract

Efisiensi dalam pengelolaan inventory barang sample memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pemasaran perusahaan. Masalah seperti kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan barang, dan ketidakefisienan distribusi menjadi hambatan utama yang sering dihadapi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini menawarkan solusi berupa sistem informasi manajemen inventory berbasis web yang terintegrasi dan real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi manajemen inventory berbasis web yang terintegrasi untuk pencatatan, pemantauan, dan distribusi barang sample secara real-time. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah waterfall, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem dengan UML—termasuk Diagram Use Case, Activity Diagram, dan Class Diagram—implementasi, serta pengujian sistem menggunakan black-box testing dan usability testing. Sistem ini memiliki fitur utama seperti pencatatan barang masuk dan keluar, laporan barang dirakit, dan pengelolaan permintaan barang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan estimasi internal perusahaan, sistem ini diproyeksikan dapat mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan sebesar 15% dan mempercepat waktu pengolahan data hingga 50% dibandingkan metode manual sebelumnya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu memberikan visibilitas stok secara real-time dan menghasilkan laporan otomatis. Nilai persentase ini diperoleh dari data observasi awal terhadap proses manual, di mana kesalahan pencatatan dan lamanya pemrosesan data tercatat secara signifikan. Sistem ini juga mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat melalui penyediaan laporan otomatis yang up-to-date, memungkinkan manajemen untuk mengevaluasi stok, merencanakan distribusi, dan merespons permintaan pasar dengan lebih tepat waktu.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Medan (POLMED) was involved in the UI GreenMetric world rankings. The UI GreenMetric committee assessed green campus activities and environmental sustainability. The UI GreenMetric aims to raise awareness about sustainable campus greening, and social impacts of these endeavors. Based on the concept, an environmental detection system (EDS) was developed using internet of things (IoT) technology. The EDS can detect and monitor environmental parameters remotely such as carbon dioxide (CO2), noise levels, light intensity, air temperature, relative humidity, and dust particle density in real-time via the internet. Measurements of environmental parameters were conducted at one location in POLMED. The average CO2 level was 485 ppm. The average noise level was 53.40 dB. The average light intensity was 129 lux. The average air temperature was 26.60 °C. The average of relative humidity was 63.8% RH. The average of PM2.5 dust particle densities was 23 µg/m3. The average of PM10 dust particle densities was 29 µg/m3. Based on these results, the air quality has begun to be polluted because this value is already above the threshold clean quality air set by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (310–330 ppm).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to empirically prove the influence of internal control policies and the application of information technology on the transparency of financial reports at PT Bank Sumut. The data collection technique used in this study is using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was given to employees and customers of PT Bank Sumut via Google Form. The data analysis used in this study is a quantitative analysis technique using statistical analysis tools, namely using Smart Partial Least Square software. The results of this study indicate that the coefficient values of the internal control policy variables and the application of information technology have an effect on the transparency of financial reports at PT Bank Sumut. Keywords: Implementation of Internal Control, Application of Technology Information, Openness of Finacial Reports Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh penerapan pengendalian internal dan penerapan teknologi informasi terhadap keterbukaan laporan keuangan pada PT Bank Sumut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuesioner atau angket. Kuesioner diberikan kepada pegawai dan nasabah PT Bank Sumut melalui google form. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat bantu analisis statistik yaitu menggunakan software Smart Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien variabel penerapan pengendalian internal dan penerapan teknologi informasi berpengaruh terhadap keterbukaan laporan keuangan pada PT Bank Sumut. Kata kunci: Penerapan Pengendalian Internal, Penerapan Teknologi Informasi,  Keterbukaan Laporan Keuangan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and Influencer Marketing on the purchase intention of Facetology skincare products on TikTok among Generation Z. The method used is descriptive research with data collection through questionnaires to 170 respondents, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) variable on TikTok social media has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Facetology products among Generation Z in Bandar Lampung, which means the better the consumer's perception of the information shared, the higher their interest in purchasing. In addition, Influencer Marketing is also proven to have a positive and significant effect indicating that the quality of promotion, credibility, attractiveness, and the ability of influencers to convey product value are important factors that motivate consumers to make purchases. The implications of this study are expected to contribute to business actors to be more competent in integrating appropriate promotional strategies using E-WOM and Influencer marketing.
