Nonetheless, limited public awareness and competition with conventional banks remain significant challenges to its optimal contribution.Practical Implications: The study highlights that Islamic banking can play a strategic role in financing and supporting halal tourism businesses, particularly by addressing capital constraints. Strengthening collaboration and innovative sharia-compliant financial products will enhance the growth and sustainability of halal tourism in IndonesiaOriginality/Value: This research contributes originality by examining the intersection of Islamic banking and halal tourism within the specific context of Bengkulu Province, a locus rarely addressed in prior studies. The study advances the discourse by positioning Islamic banking not merely as a financing intermediary but as a structural enabler of halal tourism development, thereby offering a novel perspective on its role in regional economic empowerment and sustainable industry growth

Abstract

BACKGROUND: ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) is one of the leading causes of global morbidity and mortality, with burden of thrombus as an influential factor of clinical outcomes. OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between frontal QRS-T (fQRST) angle and thrombus burden in STEMI patients. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was carried out at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan, between January 2024 and July 2024. STEMI patients who underwent coronary angiography were included. The fQRST angle was measured using a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), the thrombus burden was graded according to the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) grading system. Statistical analysis included Spearman's correlation and Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. RESULTS: 108 STEMI patients were included in the study. The fQRST angle was strongly positively correlated with thrombus burden (r = 0.61–0.80, p < 0.05). Patients with more thrombus burden had larger fQRST angles compared to patients with less thrombus burden. Additionally, diabetes mellitus and symptom delay exceeding 12 hours were highly correlated with higher thrombus burden (p < 0.05), whereas infarct-related artery (IRA) location was not significantly associated (p > 0.05). ROC curve demonstrated that the fQRST angle had an AUC of 0.88 (p = 0.001) At the optimal cut-off value of 61°, the sensitivity and specificity were 88.3% and 87.5% (95% CI of 88.5%–98.2).

Abstract

This research explores methods and strategies to more effectively measure and manage the delivery quality performed by Gojek drivers. In the digital era, app-based transportation services like Gojek have become an integral part of society. Ensuring high delivery quality requires a deep understanding of influencing factors such as timeliness, condition of goods, and customer satisfaction. By leveraging technology and data analysis, Gojek can identify areas needing improvement and implement appropriate solutions. This study uses the COBIT 5 framework to assess and enhance delivery quality. The findings indicate that the IT governance maturity level of Gojek in the EDM 02 and DSS 03 domains is at level 3 (Established). However, there is a gap that needs to be addressed to reach the desired level of 5 (Optimizing). Recommendations are provided to bridge this gap by implementing consistent standard processes across the company.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the reasons for choosing andesite igneous rock as building material from Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms. The research method in this article uses four stages of historical research, namely; heuristic techniques, source criticism techniques, interpretation techniques, and historiography techniques. Data sources were collected through primary and secondary data. The four stages of this historical research method together with secondary primary data are then analyzed using a combination of historical geography to obtain an in-depth study. The results of the research illustrate that the use of andesite igneous rock was used for temple buildings, statues, relief sculptures, and writing from Pallawa to Ancient Java. The choice of andesite igneous rock during the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom was based on the quality of the rock. The quality of this andesite rock has high artistic value, gray in color, hard, chemical composition and specific texture that can be carved. The chemical composition is 57% -63% silica content with 6% alkali metal oxide content. The silica content of andesite igneous rock makes this rock material resistant to weathering.

Abstract

The problem of plastic waste is a serious issue in Indonesia, especially in Tanjung Village, Bima City, where waste management is still less than optimal. One solution implemented is the use of Ecobrick, a plastic waste management technique by filling used bottles with plastic until they are solid and hard. This program involves socialization and training at SDN 29 Tanjung and SMPN 13 Bima City, where students are taught how to process plastic waste into products with economic value such as furniture. The results of this program show that Ecobrick is effective in reducing the volume of plastic waste while increasing public awareness of the importance of waste management. The use of Ecobrick not only helps maintain environmental cleanliness but also provides economic benefits and has the potential to reduce negative environmental impacts such as coastal abrasion. It is hoped that this program can be the first step in forming new habits in the community related to waste management.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is an important component in the formation of character and morals of students in higher education. However, students' understanding of the concept of Islamic religious education still faces various obstacles influenced by the learning methods applied. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of learning methods and their impact on students' understanding of the concept of Islamic Religious Education. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with a number of students taking the Islamic Religious Education course. Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify obstacles and the effectiveness of the learning methods used. The results of the study showed variations in students' understanding influenced by the type of learning method, where interactive methods such as group discussions and project-based learning were more effective in increasing understanding than traditional lecture methods. The obstacles encountered included social environmental pressure, lack of practical understanding, limited time management, and the influence of a modern lifestyle that did not support the practice of religious values. The role of lecturers as facilitators and role models is very influential in increasing students' motivation to learn and practice religious values. Therefore, the implementation of varied and contextual learning methods is very important in helping students understand and internalize the concept of Islamic Religious Education. This study emphasizes the need for the development of innovative learning methods and the provision of conducive learning environment support to improve the effectiveness of religious education in higher education.
