Abstract

Background: This study investigates the role of community health workers in promoting elderly health through integrated health posts. Specific Background: A qualitative descriptive approach is used to examine the significance of these workers in ensuring regular attendance of the elderly at health services. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have focused on health post activities, they often overlook the specific strategies employed by community health workers. Aims: The study aims to clarify the contributions of community health workers in facilitating elderly health programs. Results: Findings indicate that these workers adapt activities, such as health consultations and educational sessions, to enhance elderly participation and health outcomes. Novelty: The research provides new insights into innovative service delivery by community health workers amid logistical challenges. Implications: The results highlight the need for ongoing support and training for community health workers, advocating for structured programs to enhance elderly engagement and well-being, with potential applications in similar contexts to improve elderly healthcare. Highlights : Community health workers play a crucial role in facilitating elderly health services. Adaptation of activities enhances elderly engagement and health outcomes. Abstract

This study examines the role of the General Election Commission (KPU) in boosting first-time voter participation in Seketi Village, Balongbendo District, Sidoarjo. Using qualitative methods, data were collected via interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The KPU's roles as Regulator and Dynamistator were effectively implemented, but their roles as Catalyst and Facilitator were less successful. Socialization efforts and provided facilities were hindered by the pandemic and low engagement from first-time voters, leading to decreased voter participation. The findings highlight the need for improved communication strategies and resource utilization to enhance first-time voter engagement. Highlights: Effective Roles: KPU succeeded as Regulator and Dynamistator. Pandemic Impact: Socialization and voter engagement hindered by COVID-19. Communication Gaps: Insufficient social media use reduced first-time voter information. Abstract

This study used descriptive qualitative method. The location of this research was carried out at the Office of Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DKBP3A) Bangkalan Regency. the technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling technique in determining the informants, namely the Head of the Bangkalan Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (P3A) Division, the Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) Bangkalan Police, the Secretary of the Bangkalan Integrated Service Center (PPT), and the Chair of the Children's Forum Organization ( FA) Bangkalan Regency. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses the components of interactive model data analysis from Miles and Huberman (1992) through data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusions or verification. The results showed that the synergy of actors in handling cases of child violence in Bangkalan Regency was by using 2 indicators of synergy. First, the results of the communication that occurred between the P3A Office and several actors involved in handling cases of child violence in Bangkalan Regency were still not optimal. Second, the coordination between the WUA Office and related actors in handling cases of child abuse in Bangkalan Regency is established in the PPT Coordination Meeting. In the PPT Coordination Meeting, actors related to the protection and handling of violence against children in Bangkalan Regency evaluated the performance of several institutions, found solutions if there were problems during case handling and found new ideas to make Bangkalan a Child Friendly City.

Abstract

The SKCK Online service is an IT-based service at the Police Agency. This Online SKCK service can improve public services, but there are several problems related to this online SKCK service, namely the lack of socialization on how to use it, for SKCK payments only in collaboration with one bank, the lack of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to describe or describe the process of innovation in SKCK Online services at the Sidoarjo Police Sector and to provide convenience for the community in managing SKCK. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The technique of collecting data in this study used observation techniques, interview techniques, documentation and the technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that SKCK service innovation is seen from the analysis using the innovation attribute theory according to Rogers, namely: 1. Relative advantage, this aspect provides convenience for the public in accessing and view information and make SKCK, 2. Compatibility, there is a match between high community mobility and technological advances in creating online services, 3. Complexcity, there are still many people who do not know the service and use of online SKCK 4. Triability, this application has gone through a test process because it used to take 3-4 days, now it only takes 10 minutes, and 5. Observability, the online SKCK application helps the community in managing SKCK online and quickly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe public awareness in the management of death certificates in the population administration order at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Sidoarjo Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques obtained are interviews, field observations and documentation. The results showed that the level of public awareness in the management of death certificates was still low. The public still does not have good knowledge about the management of death certificates. The low interest of the public in managing death certificates is due to the lack of public understanding of the function of the death certificate itself. Factors that affect public awareness: First, personal interests, some people who take care of death certificates are people who have personal interests. Second, the lack of public understanding of death certificates makes public awareness in the management of death certificates still low. Third, the lack of socialization carried out by both relevant agencies and village officials is needed to increase public understanding and legal awareness of the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the innovation of population administration services in Pasuruan Regency. in this study using a qualitative descriptive method with the technique of determining the informant, namely purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documents. The data analysis uses Miles and Hubberman analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study concludes that the innovation of population administration services through the Kenduren Mas (Community Gathering Vehicle) program in Pasuruan Regency is seen in terms of relative advantages, namely the service becomes effective and efficient because it can be carried out in the village or location of the Kenduren Mas implementation and in terms of compatibility there are still people who do not know in detail about the procedures specified in this service. Meanwhile, complexity is the understanding of both implementers and recipients regarding the elaboration of easy and simple procedures for innovation in population administration services. However, in terms of trials, there are no other regions that have replicated the innovation program and it is easy to observe with the aim of measuring through community satisfaction surveys.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the commitment of the Environmental and Hygiene Service of Sidoarjo Regency in managing waste and the factors constraining commitment to waste management carried out by the Sidoarjo Regency Environmental and Hygiene Service. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This resource determination technique uses a purposive sampling technique, which consists of 1 Head of Waste Management, 1 staff of Cleanliness, 1 waste officer, and 3 community members. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by the method based on the concept of Milles and Hubberman. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The commitment of the Environmental and Hygiene Service (DLHK) of Sidoarjo Regency in the waste management program consists of three indicators of affective, normative, and continuity; 2) Constraints faced by the Environmental and Hygiene Service (DLHK) of Sidoarjo Regency in waste management, namely consistency and lack of budget.

Abstract

The role played by the Cooperatives and UMKM Service in Sidoarjo Regency for business actors, the tempeh sector in Sepande Village, only provides a soybean skin peeler tool, and the Cooperative Service itself is said lacking in socialization to kopti Karya Mulya because Kopti is less open to the Cooperative Service of Sidoarjo. Using qualitative descriptive writing and research locations in Sidoarjo Regency Cooperative Office, for the informants the Head of the Cooperative and Service, Head of Kopti Karya Mulya and members of Kopti Karya Mulya. Collecting data obtained by interview, observation and documentation, the data analysis technique uses model methods such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the role of the Cooperative Service as an entrepreneur in marketing tempeh is still less than optimal. Because members who are elderly are less knowledgeable about technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of work discipline on the performance of study employees at Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sidoarjo. The type of this research is quantitative associative. The sample in the study was 15 respondents, namely some employees of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sidoarjo. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire and data collection techniques by filling out a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 22 statistic program. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sidoarjo employees with a t count > t table (2,603 ​​> 2,110).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze community participation in the implementation of BUMDes Subur Makmur in Kedungboto Village, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency. and to analyze and describe the inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of BUMDes Subur Makmur in Kedungboto Village, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques obtained are interviews, observation and documentation with one key informant and six informants. Data analysis techniques in data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of the study indicate that community participation in the implementation of BUMDes Subur Makmur in Kedungboto Village, the dimension of decision making is that the community participates in the from of providing suggestions and input about the BUMDes program during deliberation to determine the type of BUMDes,and communiy parisipation in iimlemrntation is the biggest part of the BUMDes program that has been doe well.but the negative side was the emergence of a pandemiic outbbreak I early 2020 which caused the program to be forced to stop because people had floked to stay away from crowds.
