Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the role of Pokdarwis in the development of Lusi Island tourism objects and to analyze and describe the constraints on the role of Pokdarwis in developing Lusi Island tourism objects in Kedungpandan, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. This study uses the theory of the role of Pokdarwis according to Rahim. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques from Miles & Huberman in Sugiyono (2015:246-253). Which consist of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the role of Pokdarwis in the development of Lusi Island tourism is seen from the theory of the role of Pokdarwis, namely product development, Pokdarwis only maintains existing facilities because of the limited authority in procuring facilities at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Lusi Island tourism promotion is carried out through social media and in collaboration with travel agents, the Association of Sidoarjo Travel Companies, and related agencies. Limited funds and lack of coordination made Pokdarwis unable to maximize the development of Lusi Island Tourism.

Abstract

Representation of women in the political sphere can be interpreted as a form of participation in opening that the resulting policy will include the interests of all parties, whether at the local, national, and international levels. In the process of democratic issues, larger women participation, representation, and accountability are absolute prerequisites for the realization of a meaningful democracy. But in fact, in the district of Sidoarjo there is still women's lack of access making it difficult for women to show that their interests are not accommodated in the political system. This was marked by the lack (not quotas) of women representation as members of parliament in Sidoarjo. This paper is also intended to study the participation, quality, and responsibility of women's representation in the political sphere.

Abstract

The purposes of this research was analyzing and describing about implementation of the rice for poor program in Kejapanan Village Gempol Subdistrict Pasuruan Regency as well as was identifing the obstacles of this program. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Collecting of data used observation, interview and documentation. Data analizing technique used descriptive qualitative. The results showed that as long as the implementation of rice program didn’t any evaluation from the citizen or subdistrict. It happened because the government Kejapanan village didn’t had an available legally action system for the villagers. On the other hand, monev team never checked the rice program and the officers of this program never did observation about it.

Abstract

MSMEs in Indonesia play a role as a trigger for economic growth in developing and developed countries. MSMEs also have a crucial function in overcoming problems in a region or region. When the economic situation slumps due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, business people must be really observant in making decisions. The Sidoarjo government has again taken steps as a form of controlling the economic sector during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of policies to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sidoarjo. The research method used is a literature review using 25 journal articles. The results of the study show there are several MSME protection schemes carried out by the government in Sidoarjo, namely as follows: First, there is financial assistance and social assistance for MSME actors affected by Covid-19, especially those who are vulnerable and classified as very poor. Second, tax incentives for MSMEs. Third, relaxation and restructuring of credit for MSMEs through the KurdaSayang program. Fourth, expansion of MSME working capital financing. Fifth, synergistic cooperation between local governments and related stakeholders as a buffer for MSME products. Sixth, training on the use of e-learning digital platforms. Meanwhile, the implementation of policies to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises during the pandemic in Sidoarjo, can be seen from the communication, bureaucratic structure, resources and attitude of the implementers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Bligo Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency and to determine the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Expected Family Program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with the technique of determining the informant using purposive sampling. The location of this research is in Bligo Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data collection techniques obtained by means of observation, documentation and interviews. The collection technique consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The method used for research is the method according to Edward III and has 4 factors consisting of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Family Hope Program in Bligo Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency in terms of communication is still not optimal, in terms of resources, it is in accordance with the job disk and the facilities provided are appropriate, in terms of disposition, implementation is in accordance with regulations and has commitment. and in terms of bureaucratic structure has been implemented. Constraints faced from data inhibiting factors which are still top-down and supporting factors for very high public enthusiasm

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of youth organization in community empowerment in Krembung Villange, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentations. Determination on informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique using Miles & Huberman theory namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the empowerment of villange communities through youth organizations is seen from three indicators of the role of youth organizations, namely as a motivator for the role of youth organizations by holding entrepreneurship socialization by inviting the Krembung Villange community. As a facilitator of the role of the Krembung villange youth organization, conducting training on screenings to provide understanding and knowledge of printing techniques by inviting the community to practice it direvtly. While as a mobilizer for the role of youth organizations is this case mobilizing or directing people who are already running a soap business to develop more. In developing this business, youth organizations held a bazaar exhibitions through the youth organization instagram

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the coordination of actors in the implementation of Lusi Island tourism development in Kedungpandan Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman, consisting of four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the coordination of actors in the implementation of Lusi Island tourism development in Kedungpan Village and Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency was carried out by interactive dialogue communication between actors, communication via WhatsApp, and holding exhibitions. Coordination and promotion are also carried out online. Comprehensive information on the leadership in the development of Lusi Island tourism is shown by the party who scheduled the meeting, namely Pokdarwis through public relations.

Abstract

The Office of Family Planning and Women's Empowerment created an innovation to reduce the number of women's violence in Pasuruan Regency. The program is the Thumb Sakera program (Aware of the Violence of Women and Children by Picking Up Balls). The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the innovation of the Thumb Sakera program (Aware of the Violence of Women and Children by Picking Up Balls) in Pasuruan Regency. This study uses a quantitative descriptive. The sample of this research is 32 people. Data processing techniques use statistical analysis which consists of grouping data based on respondents, tabulating data based on all respondents, presenting data according to research results, and carrying out calculations to answer the problem formulation. The analysis technique used is the Likert scale technique. The results of the validity test of this study showed that Cronbach's Alpha was above 0.6 which means that each item was declared valid. In addition, the reliability test of 12 items shows a strong reliability with Cronbach's Alpha 0.764. It can be identified that the results of the research on the effectiveness of the Thumb Sakera program in Pasuruan Regency are in the "Effective" category. The average value is 78.59% which is obtained from the determination indicator; program target of 82.29%; program socialization of 75.84%; program objectives of 79.59; and program monitoring of 76.67%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze health literacy in village posyandu cadres in preventing stunting prevalence in Kalisogo Tambak Village. This research uses descriptive statistical methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches obtained and then used as analysis material. Data collection techniques are carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is Likert scale measurement with the help of SPSS program version 26. The results of this study explain the analysis of 4 (four) aspects of health literacy which is elaborated with the prevention of stunting prevalence of village posyandu cadres which can be used as a reference to improve the ability of posyandu cadres in handling public health. Aspects according to Sorensen et.al. These include: 1) Access, 2) Understand, 3) Appraise and 4) Apply. Of the four indicators, the results of the health literacy index research on posyandu cadres in preventing stunting prevalence are the highest indicator in the dimension of accessing various health-related information obtained from several reliable sources with a value of 68%. Then, the lowest score is on the indicator assessing various health-related information with a value of 55%. These results show that the health literacy ability of posyandu cadres in preventing stunting prevalence in Kalisogo Tambak Village is quite good, but in the aspect of assessing various health-related information, especially in stunting prevention, it needs to be improved again considering that stunting greatly affects the quality of human resources.

Abstract

The facilities and infrastructure of a tourist attraction are an important factor in assessing public satisfaction in the tourism sector. This is useful in providing comfort for tourists to visit it. The problem with Tlocor Marine Tourism is the lack of internet connection and the hot tourist atmosphere. Apart from that, to board the ship, visitors must wait until there are a minimum of 10 people before they can depart for their destination. This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of visitors and the public at Tlocor Marine Tourism. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with a research sample of 60 people consisting of 30 visitors and 30 people from the community around Tlocor Marine Tourism. The data analysis technique used is the crosstab model, which compares visitor satisfaction with the satisfaction of the community around Tlocor Marine Tourism. The research results show that the level of visitor satisfaction at Tlocor Marine Tourism is 46 percent in the high category. Meanwhile, the level of satisfaction of the surrounding community at Tlocor Marine Tourism is 50 percent in the very high category.
