Abstract

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kuripan Village, Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency, have significant potential in the local food sector, but face serious marketing challenges, particularly limited digital literacy. This condition makes their products less competitive in the modern market. This community service activity aims to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs by optimizing marketing based on social media and digital platforms. The implementation method is online training via Zoom with an interactive, participatory, and applied approach, covering three main topics: social media ethics, basic product photography techniques, and creating online business accounts. The activity participated in 10 local MSMEs. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills, marked by an average pretest/posttest score that increased from 2.4 to 4.5 in the ethics aspect, from 2.1 to 4.2 in videography skills, and from 1.8 to 4.6 in mastery of digital business accounts. Participant testimonials also indicate a change in mindset and courage to utilize digital media as a promotional tool. Thus, this activity effectively bridges the digital divide of local MSMEs and contributes to strengthening technology-based marketing capacity.

Abstract

Generasi Muda Pembangunan Indonesia (GMPI) is a youth organization that functions as a party wing organization and plays a strategic role in providing political education for the cadres of the United Development Party (PPP). Political education is essential to improve cadre quality in terms of ideological knowledge, organizational capacity, and readiness to participate in political activities. This study aims to analyze the role of GMPI in political education, examine the institutional relationship between GMPI and PPP, and identify the challenges and obstacles faced in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach using primary and secondary data sources. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that GMPI actively conducts political education through cadre development programs, guidance activities, and capacity building. The political education implemented by GMPI has a positive impact on improving the quality of PPP cadres, particularly in political understanding, discipline, and participation in party activities. However, GMPI still encounters several constraints, including limited resources, program consistency issues, and internal organizational dynamics. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening the role of youth organizations as sustainable instruments of political education. The implications of this study encourage political parties to enhance youth cadre development synergy in order to produce qualified, competent, and sustainable political cadres.

Abstract

The formulation of the policies used community still has not put the development instrument oriented to the needs of the community. One of them is the enactment of Presidential Decree no. 3 of 1997 which only regulate limitation of liquor. These conditions encourage community organizations such as FPI who concentrate on the disobedience to file a retest of the material against.  Presidential Regulation no. 74 of 2013 on the Control and Supervision of Alcoholic Beverages to the Supreme Court. The emergence of Presidential Regulation no. 74 of 2013 has not been able to minimize the circulation of alcohol in the community, it is increasingly alarming. Such conditions encourage government efforts to relax the Perpres. The realization of the policy of relaxing the old rules is to authorize to determine which areas can sell  liquor.  With  the  relaxation  of  these  rules  the local government will have the authority to deter- mine which areas can sell it. This policy is done because the Local Government is considered the most knowledgeable about which locations require the permission to sell liquor. By relaxing the rules, it does not mean that li- quor class A can be resold in mini market, becau- se the prohibition of beer sales is still regulated in the Minister of Trade Regulation no. 6/2015 on the second amendment toMinister of Trade no. 20 /M-DAG/4/2014 concerning Control and Supervi- sion distribution and sale liquor. Keywords: Miras, FPI, Policy.

Abstract

The political culture of a society constitutes a pivotal component in the development of democracy. Within the context of democratic practice, the political orientations and cultures of modern urban societies differ significantly from those of traditional communities. As a pluralistic nation, Indonesia faces unique challenges in implementing democratic practices, particularly in general elections. In the Kasepuhan Gelaralam community, individuals are granted the agency to determine their chosen leaders within the electoral framework, as evidenced by the adoption of procedures aligned with national electoral laws (Election Law). Researching the political culture of the Kasepuhan community is both vital and compelling for advancing academic discourse and promoting democratic practices within traditional societies. Consequently, this study examines the democratic values and practices that shape the political culture of the Kasepuhan Gelaralam in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through observation and interviews. The findings reveal that democratic practices and values are deeply embedded within the Kasepuhan Gelaralam community. In daily life, principles of freedom, equality, justice, humanity, and non- discrimination are manifested, with all individuals considered equal under the law (Sara, Nagara, and Mokaha). These values foster a just and civilized democracy within the Kasepuhan. Furthermore, the community exhibits varying cognitive, affective, and evaluative orientations across different electoral cycles (the 2020 Regional Election, the 2023 Village Head Election, and the 2024 General Election). Based on these political orientations, it is concluded that the political culture of the Kasepuhan Gelaralam can be classified as partially parochial and partially participant

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of the Indonesian Minister of Defense's policy on improving the facilities and infrastructure of the Indonesian Air Force, using a case study at the Air Force Materiel Maintenance Command (Koharmatau). As a technical unit that carries out the maintenance function of defense equipment, Koharmatau is in the process of transforming into a digital-based work system through the implementation of the Smart Building concept. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, combining in-depth interviews with key informants, participant observation, and analysis of policy documents and internal unit reports. Data collection was conducted in the Koharmatau environment, Bandung, with a focus on aspects of physical infrastructure, energy management systems, and organizational dynamics. The results show that the policy implementation is running adaptively and gradually through an adaptive incrementalism approach, with initial achievements in the form of a 12% reduction in energy consumption and the implementation of a Building Automation System in priority facilities. However, successful implementation still faces structural obstacles in the form of procurement bureaucracy, limitations of old infrastructure, competency gaps between generations of personnel, and suboptimal coordination between agencies. This research concludes that the effectiveness of the infrastructure modernization policy is highly dependent on the ability to create synergy between technology, human resources, and a holistic transformation of organizational culture.

Abstract

Public participation is a hallmark of political modernization. There are two characters used to capture the informant's view of community participation, namely sociological and cultural conditions. Sociological conditions refer to the empirical and objective dimensions of the audience or community participation, which are all people belonging to the infrastructure and political superstructure—the purpose of this study: community participation in supporting women to achieve leadership. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with case studies. The subjects of this study were three relatively prominent female regional heads, namely: female regional heads from dynastic typology, politician typology and bureaucratic typology. The three women regional heads are incumbent elements. The results of the women's research determine practical steps in realizing tolerance, identifying personal, mostly female regional heads who have a side of attractiveness and power which is carried out together, not to endure joint suffering but for mutual progress.

Abstract

This study investigates how the green economy agenda is operationalised through eco-edu tourism along the Ciliwung River in Kelurahan Cikoko, South Jakarta. Drawing on qualitative case-study evidence, the research documents how the kelurahan initiated riverbank revitalisation by convening multi-actor collaboration involving residents and neighbourhood organisations, community groups, relevant government units, and private-sector support. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document review, and analysed through iterative coding (open–axial–selective) to trace how governance arrangements translated sustainability aims into practice. Empirically, the initiative transformed previously neglected riverbank segments into public eco-edu spaces featuring urban farming plots, community learning areas, and hands-on environmental programmes. Interview accounts highlight practical learning activities such as urban farming, waste management, rainwater processing, plant nurseries, and small-scale aquaculture, complemented by river-based experiential activities (e.g., river exploration/education programmes). These practices strengthened community participation and environmental literacy, while also generating micro-level economic benefits through cultivation outputs and visitor-linked activities. Persistent constraints were also identified, notably coordination burdens across institutions, limited and fragmented financing for routine maintenance, and the vulnerability of programme continuity to shifting political priorities. The study concludes that urban eco-edu tourism can function as a workable green economy instrument when cross-sector coordination is institutionalised, community co-management is supported, and resource-circular practices are embedded as visible learning infrastructure. The findings offer actionable implications for metropolitan governments seeking to implement green economy initiatives through community-based, education-oriented urban tourism.
