Abstract

Penelitian kali ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan tema buku. Alur cerita, tokoh, serta latar dalam buku yang dibuat oleh J.S. Khairen, yaitu “Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas” serta psikologi tokoh utama di dalam buku tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan psikologi sastra oleh Sigmund Freud yang menggunakan metode desktiptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah kami lakukan, ditemukan beberapa kesimpulan, diantaranya; 1) Buku ini bertema sosial pendidikan, kesenjangan dan kemiskinan. 2) Terdiri dari enam tokoh utama yang digambarkan secara jelas dan utuh bagaimana perjuangan, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi, dan sisi lain dari kehidupan mereka dengan berlatarkan kampus yang ada di Ibukota. 3) Berdasarkan teori psikologi Sigmund freud, seluruh tokoh utama dalam buku ini memiliki aspek Id, Ego, dan Super Ego.

Abstract

This article discusses the lyrics of the song “Rasa Ini” by Vierratale as a representation of hidden feelings of love, emotional wounds, and doubts in relationships. Through a qualitative descriptive approach and Roland Barthes’ semiotic theory and Grice’s implicature theory, this article analyzes the figurative meaning in the song lyrics, especially the use of metaphor, symbolism, signs, connotation, denotation, and emotional narrative structures that emerge through a first-person perspective. The findings show that the lyrics of this song not only convey messages verbally, but also describe a strong inner mood through visualization of imagery, melody, musical nuances, and supporting poetic emotions. The presence of the background of the songwriter, Kevin Aprilio, also enriches the intertextual meaning that is manifested in the authenticity of emotions. This song is also a mirror of popular culture that reflects the dynamics of love in Indonesian society, especially love that is not conveyed directly, internalized in personal experiences, the psychology of the listener, and expressions of cultural identity.

Abstract

This study discusses the meaning of separation and acceptance in the lyrics of the song “Congratulations (Goodbye)” by Virgoun feat. Audy through Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic approach. Lyrics are not just a series of words, but contain symbols, hidden meanings, and emotional messages that can be interpreted in depth. Using an interpretive qualitative method, this study analyzes the relationship between the signifier and the signified in each verse of the song. The results of the analysis show that each verse represents the stages of emotion experienced by the character in the song, from nostalgia, loss, to acceptance and self-transformation. This song is not only about separation, but also describes the emotional maturity that arises from wounds and learning. The findings of this study indicate that symbols in the lyrics are able to convey universal messages about love, loss, and sincerity. The implications of this study indicate that song lyrics as a medium of symbolic communication can be a means of emotional reflection for listeners.

Abstract

Poetry, as a medium of aesthetic and reflective expression, holds significant potential in developing students' critical literacy. However, the complexity of form and symbolism in poetry often becomes a barrier in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the poem Ibu by Chairil Anwar using a structural approach to reveal the interrelation between physical and inner structures in constructing meaning, as well as to examine its relevance in literature learning at the secondary school level. Employing a Qualitative descriptive-analytical method, this study explores the poem’s physical structure such as typography, diction, imagery, and figures of speech and its inner structure, including theme and message. The analysis reveals that the poem Ibu is composed with simplicity yet conveys deep emotional and spiritual layers, reflecting profound reverence toward the mother figure. The structural approach proves effective in systematically uncovering meaning and is applicable in classroom settings, supporting the integration of analytical and contextual literary education aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings underscore the urgency of implementing structural analysis as a pedagogical strategy to enhance literary appreciation and critical literacy in secondary education.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan fungsi gastronomi serta persilangan budaya melalui interaksi tokoh yang melibatkan gastronomi dalam novel Negeri van Oranje karya Wahyuningrat dan kawan-kawan. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan gastronomi sastra dengan perspektif fungsiogastronomi sastra. Studi pustaka diterapkan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dengan instrumen berupa tabel pengklasifikasian data. Setelah dikumpulkan, data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gastronomi dalam novel ini memiliki fungsi sebagai pengingat masa lalu, pembuka dalam pembicaraan, meningkatkan kebersamaan, mempererat banyak orang, pengenalan identitas, mata pencaharian, asupan nutrisi, estetika cerita, ekspresi rasa, menyehatkan jiwa manusia, bentuk adaptasi dengan lingkungan baru, penetral emosi, referensi keterampilan kuliner, dan pengenalan kebiasaan. Sementara itu, persilangan budaya tercermin melalui enam komponen yang menggambarkan bahwa makanan atau minuman menjadi medium interaksi lintas budaya. Enam komponen tersebut, yaitu asal makanan atau minuman, adaptasi budaya, persepsi terhadap makanan atau minuman, konflik atau harmoni budaya, lingkungan sosial dan makna simbolis makanan atau minuman. Abstract This study aims to explain the function of gastronomy and cultural cross-cultural interactions through character interactions involving gastronomy in the novel Negeri van Oranje by Wahyuningrat et al. This qualitative study uses a literary gastronomy approach with a literary gastronomy function perspective. Literature study is applied as a data collection technique with an instrument in the form of a data classification table. After being collected, the data is analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that gastronomy in this novel has a function as a reminder of the past, an opener in conversation, increasing togetherness, bringing many people together, introducing identity, livelihood, nutritional intake, story aesthetics, expression of taste, nourishing the human soul, a form of adaptation to a new environment, neutralizing emotions, culinary skill references, and introducing habits. Meanwhile, cultural cross-culturalism is reflected through six components that illustrate that food or drink is a medium for cross-cultural interaction. The six components are the origin of food or drink, cultural adaptation, perception of food or drink, cultural conflict or harmony, social environment and the symbolic meaning of food or drink.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran literasi terhadap membaca pemahaman dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dan tes. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini ialah 32 responden siswa SMP Negeri 7 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan software SPSS 25. Melalui uji koefisien determinasi memperoleh nilai 0,755. Berarti membaca pemahaman siswa sebesar 75.5% ditentukan oleh literasi membaca yang dilakukan, melalui persamaan regresi Y = 0,298 + 0,521 X, sisanya memiliki peran di luar variabel penelitian sebesar 24,5%. Peran literasi terhadap membaca pemahaman siswa dikatakan kuat disebabkan faktor pendukung seperti fasilitas penunjang, motivasi, serta kesadaran diri. Dalam Uji Parsial diketahui bahwa adanya peran antara literasi terhadap membaca pemahaman dengan value signifikan 0.000 < 0.05. Hasil penelitian adalah diperlukan adanya peningkatan kualitas serta kuantitas dari berbagai stakeholder dan faktor di lapangan yang mendukung aktivitas literasi.

Abstract

This research aims to design a lecture model for Indonesian learning evaluation as a compulsory course for project-based study programs that can encourage the development of critical thinking in the academic environment of students. The research method used is research development (R&D), through the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques in the development of learning evaluation models are carried out during product trials and expert assessments through FGD. During the product trial, data analysis was used through the t-test. The learning evaluation lecture model developed integrates Project Based Learning (PjBL). The results of the study show that the application of this model can increase student involvement in the learning process and strengthen students' analytical, synthesis, and critical reasoning skills. These findings confirm the importance of designing learning evaluation activities that not only focus on the assessment of the final results, but also encourage students' critical and reflective thinking processes. This model can be recommended as a lecture development strategy in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program, which is a program course. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of learning evaluation that is not only oriented to the final outcome, but also to the student's in-depth thinking process. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model perkuliahan evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebagai mata kuliah wajib untuk program studi berbasis proyek yang dapat mendorong pengembangan berpikir kritis di lingkungan akademik mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan penelitian (R&D), melalui tahapan Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi (ADDIE). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam pengembangan model evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan pada saat uji coba produk dan penilaian ahli melalui FGD. Pada saat uji coba produk analisis data yang digunakan melalui Uji t (t-test). Model perkuliahan evaluasi pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan Project Based Learning (PjBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ini dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan memperkuat kemampuan analitis, sintesis, dan penalaran kritis siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya merancang kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berfokus pada penilaian hasil akhir, melainkan juga mendorong proses berpikir kritis dan reflektif mahasiswa. Model ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pengembangan perkuliahan di program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, yang menjadi mata kuliah keprodian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya evaluasi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada hasil akhir, tetapi juga pada proses berpikir mahasiswa secara mendalam.
