Abstract

Problems in mathematics are increasingly complicated, especially related to students' creativity. The fundamental problem of learning mathematics is that learning is difficult and tedious and impacts students' learning outcomes. It needs special attention so that students' creative abilities in mathematics must be developed in various ways. The purpose of this study is to analyze the creativity of elementary school students in learning Mathematics. This research uses a descriptive approach in the form of a survey. This study involved 200 students from 11 elementary schools. The research instrument is a questionnaire based on four aspects: flexibility, originality, and elaboration. A descriptive approach was used to analyze the research data. The findings show that students' creativity differs in four aspects. The Fluency Aspect got a score of 3.07 in the medium category. The flexibility aspect got a score of 3,098 in the medium category. The originality aspect got a score of 2.37 in the medium category. The aspect elaboration got a score of 2.47 in the medium category. Based on the study results, it can be found that from the four aspects of student creativity in the medium category. The findings state that sub-indicators in every aspect of creativity need to be developed and improved.

Abstract

Writing is an inseparable activity from everyday human life. Writing skills can be fostered from diligent reading. One of the reading media as well as the media for pouring student work is mading. Mading is a vehicle for applying students' abilities, especially in the field of writing. MI Manbaul Ulum Karangduren is a school located in Malang Regency. The school does not yet have a class bulletin board containing student work. Thus, the opportunity for students to develop their creativity in writing is hampered. Efforts are needed to improve writing skills for students to build a reading culture. One way is to publish bulletin as a teaching aid and coaching. Through bulletin board, it is hoped that students can have creativity in writing. The results of community service activities show that students' writing skills have improved. The average value of N-Gain Creativity Test scores 0.73 in the high category. This shows the level of effectiveness of the treatment has a high effect on the post test.

Abstract

AbstractAs a learning innovation, it is necessary to have e-module that brings an interesting learning atmosphere and increase student interests in learning mathematics. This research aims to develop a valid and practical geometry e-module based on numerical literacy for the fifth grade of elementary school. The method in development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data were collected using validation questionnaires and student questionnaires. Data were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the validator's assessment obtained the valid criteria, with a percentage of 99% (media experts), 83% (material experts), and 87% (linguists). In the practicality test, the teacher got 96% (excellent) and the students got 94% (excellent). Based on the assessment results, the geometry e-module based on numerical literacy for the fifth grade of elementary school has met the eligibility and practicality criteria. Therefore, teachers can use this e-module as a companion book in distance learning.Keywords: geometry, e-module, numerical literacy. AbstrakSebagai inovasi pembelajaran, perlu adanya e-modul yang membawa suasana pembelajaran yang menarik dan meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul bangun ruang berbasis literasi numerasi untuk kelas 5 sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis. Metode dalam penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner validasi dan angket siswa. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian validator memperoleh kriteria valid dengan persentase 99% (ahli media), 83% (ahli materi), dan 87% (ahli bahasa). Pada uji kepraktisan, guru memperoleh 96% (sangat baik) dan peserta didik memperoleh 94% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut, maka e-modul bangun ruang berbasis literasi numerasi untuk kelas 5 sekolah dasar dapat digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dan kepraktisan. Guru dapat menggunakan e-modul ini sebagai buku pendamping dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh.Kata kunci: bangun ruang, e-modul, literasi numerasi.

Abstract

Digital technology in the 21st century is growing rapidly, especially at the elementary school level. But in reality some students have not been able to adapt to technology and minimal digital literacy skills. As a result, students have difficulty in choosing valid information on digital media. Therefore, students must have digital information and data processing skills. These skills are needed to filter information and data obtained using digital technology in order to be able to analyze information from digital sources accurately and can be justified. This study aims to determine the level of digital data and information processing ability in digital literacy skills of elementary school students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method, with data collection through questionnaires and online case study test questions to a sample of 151 high school elementary school students. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical technique. The results of this study indicate that the ability to process information and digital data on digital literacy skills of students from 4 elementary schools in East Java is still in the sufficient category, so it still needs to be improved.

Abstract

Quality teaching materials are materials that contain character values from good refraction for children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the practicality and attractiveness of the PPK-based thematic modules. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Subjects in this study were students and teachers of grade 4 elementary schools in using thematic modules based on PPK. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires. The results of this study were to determine the level of practicality and attractiveness of thematic modules based on the fourth grade PPK elementary school. It is hoped that through the results of the analysis, it can produce better quality PPK-based modules. Can help teachers use and develop different PPK-based modules to apply to students.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module. This research used research and development approach Dick Carey and Carey model. The procedures of the module development are: (1) identifying learning objectives, (2) learning analysis, (3) students and context analysis, (4) formulating specific learning objectives, (5) developing assessment instrument, (6) developing learning strategy, (7) developing and choosing learning material, (8) designing and conducting learning formative evaluation, (9) revising learning material. This research has been conducted up to the seventh step that is developing and choosing learning material. The results of this step are: (1) student’s module design, (2) teacher’s guideline design. This student module entitled multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module with environment theme that consists of three sub-theme, they are: (1) family environment, (2) school environment), (3) society environment. The component consists of: opening (title, foreword, user guidelines, module part, character introduction, and content list), main part (concept map, news, and expectation box), and learning (material exploration, let’s practice, assignment, conclusion, independent test, module final test) and the final part (mini vocabulary, assessment guide, bibliography). Teachers’ guide consists of: (1) foreword, (2) teacher’s guidelines, (3) teacher’s role in using the module, (4) fifth grade SKL and KI, (5) multiple intelligences mapping, (6) content list, (7) first sub-theme mapping, (8) second sub-theme mapping, (9) third sub-theme mapping, (10) bibliography, (11) module final test, (12) key answers and scoring.

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran IPA masih jauh dari ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran yang disebabkan rendahnya tingkat motivasi siswa dalam belajar IPA, pemilihan bahan ajar juga berpengaruh dalam proses pembelajaran. Kurangnya literasi menyebabkan siswa sulit untuk memahami materi yang diajarkan oleh guru, hal tersebut dikarenakan tampilan buku yang membuat bosan terlebih buku yang hanya berwarna hitam putih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk, mendeskripsikan kelayakan, dan kepraktisan buku digital berbasis inkuiri muatan IPA materi listrik di SDN Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan ADDIE. Pada penelitian dan pengembangan buku digital berbasis inkuiri ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yang peneliti lakukan yaitu teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Buku digital berbasis inkuiri memenuhi kriteria: a) uji kelayakan memperoleh kategori “sangat layak” dengan perolehan persentase oleh ahli media 90,8%, ahli materi 82,2%, dan ahli bahasa 75%, ; b) uji kepraktisan memperoleh kategori “sangat praktis” dengan hasil penilaian angket guru 95,1% dan hasil penilaian angket siswa 98%.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru SD dalam menyusun konten kreatif sebagai inovasi pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru di SD sekecamatan Karangploso yang terdiri dari 10 SD di Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan selama empat hari dengan pemberian workshop beberapa macam konten kreatif (video, kuis dan media presentasi), pengembangan course/ kelas pada learning management system (LMS) berbasis edmodo, pengelolaan course/kelas pada LMS, presentasi oleh peserta selain itu diberikan motivasi bagi guru untuk bersemangat mengembangkan pembelajaran digital yang inovatif. Kegiatan workshop dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan sebanyak dua kali kepada mitra secara daring. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian diketahui telah bahwa guru menjadi lebih termotivasi dalam mengembangkan praktek pembelajaran, mengembangkan kemampuan TPACK guru, kreativitas, dan penguasaan dalam menggunakan learning management system (LMS). Pelatihan keprofesionalan guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang dikembangkan oleh guru

Abstract

Sekolah sebagai tempat utama dan strategis dalam penanaman nilai atau sikap kepedulian dalam kondisi pemulihan dari masa pandei Covid-19. SDN Pringo adalah sekolah dasar yang terletak di Desa Pringu Kecamatan Bululawang Kabupaten Malang. Kondisi tempat sampah yang buruk dan kurang dalam ketersediannya membuat siswa membuang sampah dengan kurang benar sesuai jenis sampahnya. Kebiasaan membuang sampah dalam satu tempat tanpa memilah berdasarkan jenis sampahnya masih belum tampak dari kebiasaan siswanya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pelatihan pembuatan ecobricks pada siswa untuk melatih sikap peduli dan cinta lingkungan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan ecobricks pada siswa kelas V agar peduli dan cinta lingkungan sehingga mengetahui cara pengolahan sampah serta tidak membuang sampah sembarangan. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan dan memberikan pemahaman tentang sampah organik dan nonorganik, metode pengolahan sampah. Metode Penugasan berupa pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi ecobrick dalam bentuk pot bunga, meja dan kursi taman sekolah. Hasil evaluasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terkait pelatihan pembuatan ecobricks  untuk melatih sikap peduli dan cinta lingkungan dikategorikan sedang.

Abstract

It is important for students to have critical thinking skills, but data regarding the critical thinking skills of elementary school students are still lacking. The purpose of the study was to analyze elementary clarification skills on critical thinking skills of elementary school students in learning science. This research is based on grade level and teaching method. This research is a survey research on 226 fourth to sixth grade students from seven elementary schools. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative analysis and multiple linear regression test. The results showed that elementary school students were able to apply elementary clarification critical thinking skills in science learning, but students' ability to focus on a problem still needed to be improved. Based on the grade of the students, it is known that the critical thinking skills of elementary clarification students in higher grades get better grades. The conclusion that the learning model had an effect on critical thinking skills in elementary clarification. The learning method to train critical thinking (problem-based) is able to improve students' critical thinking skills.
