Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama pada aspek pencatatan, efisiensi operasional, dan integrasi data. Kondisi tersebut juga dialami oleh KSM Kudu Bisa di Desa Sirau, Kecamatan Kemranjen, Kabupaten Banyumas, yang selama ini mengelola bank sampah dengan sistem manual. Keterbatasan tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya efektivitas pengelolaan, risiko kehilangan data, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan nilai ekonomi sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendukung transformasi digital pengelolaan bank sampah melalui pengembangan platform berbasis web yang terintegrasi. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat secara partisipatif melalui lima tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta perencanaan keberlanjutan. Sasaran kegiatan meliputi pengurus dan anggota KSM Kudu Bisa sebagai pelaku utama pengelolaan bank sampah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa platform digital yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kerapian pencatatan transaksi, mempermudah pengelolaan data nasabah, serta mempercepat penyusunan laporan. Pengurus KSM mulai memanfaatkan dashboard sebagai alat monitoring operasional, sementara anggota merasakan peningkatan transparansi tabungan sampah. Selain itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan literasi digital pengurus, mendorong kesadaran masyarakat dalam memilah sampah, serta membuka peluang penguatan ekonomi sirkular di tingkat desa. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan kelembagaan KSM Kudu Bisa dan berpotensi menjadi model pengelolaan bank sampah digital yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Each country develops diverse character education. This paper photographs the development of character education in the country of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the United States. The emergence of character education in those three countries is caused by the moral problems arise. Indonesia putsthe character education together with the school system, whereas in the US and Malaysia, it is positioned as a program or field of study. The principles of character education in those three countries compared have different emphases. But the character values developed in those three countries are the same, which is universal; while the implementation method of character education internalization in Indonesia has the scope, complexity and variations more than methods used in Malaysia and the United States.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies of public universities to strengthen religious moderation on campuses to foster religious tolerance and nationalism among campus communities. Qualitative methods were used to obtain data for analysis. The subject of the study was Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), a large state university in East Java that offers various religious moderation programs, including Griya Moderasi Beragama dan Bela Negara (GMBBN, House of Religious Moderation and State Defense). The study was conducted from September 2024 to February 2025 using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. The research revealed nine strategies to strengthen religious moderation in campus, namely: establishing institutions of religious moderation, inserting religious moderation values into lectures, conducting research and community service on religious moderation, religious mentoring, establishing and guiding religious student activity units, scientific studies on religious moderation, non-academic activities on religious moderation, dissemination of media and content of religious moderation, and places of worship to promote religious moderation.

Abstract

Permasalahan serangan hama burung pada tanaman padi di Desa Windujaya menjadi tantangan serius bagi para petani karena menyebabkan penurunan hasil panen secara signifikan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Pengmas) ini menerapkan alat pengusir hama burung berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang diberi nama Bird Exterm, dilengkapi dengan sumber energi dari panel surya dan sistem pengawasan real-time. Alat ini dirancang untuk bekerja secara otomatis mendeteksi keberadaan burung dan menghasilkan suara pengusir hama secara responsif, sehingga dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada metode tradisional. Penggunaan tenaga matahari memungkinkan alat beroperasi secara mandiri dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Tani Sido Urip di Desa Windujaya, Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa alat ini mampu meningkatkan efektivitas perlindungan tanaman dan memberikan pemahaman baru kepada petani tentang penerapan teknologi tepat guna di bidang pertanian.

Abstract

The ideology of Brunei Darussalam contributes in shaping the [Islamic] Education system. Politically, Brunei applies the concept of Malay, Islam, Beraja (MIB) as an ideological basis. This research is oriented to two main discussions. First is the historical trajectory of MIB in Brunei and its relation to the education system. The second is the dimension of educational philosophy and Islamic education philosophy in Brunei by drawing its relation to the MIB. This research uses a qualitative-naturalistic approach. This research was conducted in Brunei, October 2019. Data was collected through interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), observation, document and literature studies. In data collection, this research involved academics from Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU) and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA). The findings show that the MIB is related to the model perennialism and progressivism. However, from Islamic education philosophy, MIB gives a traditionalist style to the mazhabi and modernist education system.
