Abstract

Traveling is a human need and travel activities will continue to be done throughout our lives. But the existence of pandemic covid 19 has a tremendous impact on the country's tourism industry which triggers the emergence of unemployment. One alternative to recovery is to generate Rural Tourism, namely by the implementation of the Education Tourism model, or WIKAN. Wikan is one of the rural tourism development strategies that are expected to be able to become a medium of tourism education, especially to people who are in tourist destinations. This article will introduce about the concept of educational tourism, the urgency of its implementation, some examples of good practices for the application of educational tourism at the international, national and local levels. In addition, some recommendations to develop educational tourism destinations to maintain regional languages and local wisdom are also the focus of this article.

Abstract

Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru merupakan salah satu karya fenomenal dari pahlawan nasional asal NTB yakni TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. Kajian tentang wasiat tersebut telah banyak dilakukan, namun eksplorasi tentang kesantunan maksim bahasa pada wasiat tersebut belum tersentuh. Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk-bentuk maksim yang terdapat pada karya sang ulama’. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif terhadap dokumen wasiat renungan masa pengalaman Baru, terungkap enam bentuk masksim kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh penyusun wasiat tersebut yakni: dari 1) maksim kebijaksanaan, 2) maksim penerimaan, 3) maksim kemurahan, 4) maksim kerendahan hati, 5) maksim kecocokan, dan 6) maksim keempatian. Maksim kesantunan berbahasa yang dipakai oleh Maulanasyeikh TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid sangatlah tepat menjadi rujukan dalam komunikasi antara jama’ah warga Nahdlatul Wathan kepada lawan tutur terutama di media sosial untuk memperat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa dan agama.

Abstract

This research attempts to describe the image of women empowerment in the era of postfeminism that is represented by Fifth Harmony’s self-objectification image in their four music videos; Work from Home, Boss, Worth It and That’s My Girl. This research is descriptive qualitative. The method employed consists of watching, classifying and analyzing the data that are collected by selecting the scenes, lyrics and other elements of music video representing the image of self-objectification and postfeminism.From the analysis, Fifth Harmony in their music videos use their self-objectification image to portray the values of women empowerment in post-feminism era. The music videos are portraying the issues of domesticity (femininity and sexuality) as women’s choice and source of power, confident and successful independent women as a symbol of Girl Power and sisterhood as source of women’s power in the era of postfeminism.
