Abstract

Companies are currently increasingly competitive competition, this study aims to examine the extent to which the role of job descriptions, discipline and leadership in improving employee performance. The sampling technique was saturated sampling, namely by taking the entire population of 107 respondents. The data technique was used by distributing questionnaires and literature study. The analytical method used is multiple regression which includes: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicolin meaning test, heteroscedasticity test, determination test, partial test. The results showed that the job description partially affected 3.405> 1.983 from the t table, so 0.00 was smaller than alpha 0.05. Meanwhile, discipline partially affects 8,368> 1,983 of the t table. Together with the job description and has a significant effect. amounting to 106.188> 3.080 from the F table, then 0.00 is smaller than alpha 0.05. And the significance value of the simultaneous test. The results of the study on employee performance, performance, and R2 test showed an effect of 81.9% of the research results showed that Job Description and had a significant effect.

Abstract

Human resource is the most valuable thing for organization in order to achieve goals, different kind of characteristic in society including in organization have an impact in achieving goal that has been set by management. This study aims to analyze the influence of the discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Indoland Batam. The lack of discipline and lack of motivation were the main problems in the study, data was collected through questionnaires and distributed to 103 employees who worked at PT Indoland Batam. This study used multiple linear regression statistic which include validity,reability, and R-square Test. Result from the Study showed the coefficient of determination (R2) has a value of 0.659 which means the variable of employee performance can be explained by the variable discipline, and work motivation, of 65,9% while the remaining 34,1% is influeced by other vairable that do not exist in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of workload and welfare on employee satisfaction at the Batam Business Board, using the saturated sample technique, in which all the population was sampled as many as 110 respondents who were employees of the Batam Business Board. The method of data collection is a questionnaire. The data quality test in this study uses validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests and influence tests in this study using multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), while hypothesis testing in this study uses (t test) and (F test) by using the SPSS 25 software program. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained from the workload and welfare variables has an effect of 70.1% on employee satisfaction. Multiple linear regression test results show that workload (X1) has an effect of 80.8% on employee satisfaction (Y) and welfare (X2) has an effect of 47.1% on employee satisfaction (Y). From the results of the t test and F test, it can be concluded that workload has a partially significant effect on employee satisfaction and welfare has a partially significant effect on employee satisfaction, and workload and welfare together have a significant simultaneous effect on employee satisfaction at the Batam Business Board. Abstract

E-sport also known as competitive games, is a new sport with many enthusiasts especially among teenagers.The influence of technological and the internet advances on the general public is unavoidable.There are several factors that influence teenagers purchasing decision on e-Sport. This study aims to determine the factors that influence teenagers purchasing decisions on e-Sport.The method used in this research is quantitative research and online questionnaire distribution.The population and samples used in this study amounted 104 respondents and 100 samples.The questionnaire contains individual characteristics and 36 statements which are measured using likert scale.This study uses the spss program to process data. Based on the results of data processing in this study, the average number of motivation, skills, and behavior variables included in the scale between 3,41 < n ≤ 4,20 (agree category).This statement shows that each variable in this study has a significant effect on teenagers purchasing decision on e-sport.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment, compensation and work motivation on job satisfaction at the Wisdom Wealth Agency. The sampling technique in this study is a saturated sampling technique with a population of 230 employees, so the number of samples taken is 230 respondents. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to Wisdom Wealth Agency employees. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The data quality test in this study used the validity test and reliability test, the classical assumption test in this study used the normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and the influence test used multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination analysis (R2), while the hypothesis test in this study using the t test and F test using the SPSS version 25 software program. The results show that the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation also has a significant effect on job satisfaction, and work motivation also has a significant effect on job satisfaction and work environment, compensation and work motivation together affect job satisfaction at the Wisdom Wealth Agency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and organizational culture on performance on employee performance at PT Kumala Indonesia Shipyard in Batam City. This study usesquantitative methods. The data is obtained by using numbers and the analysis is using statistical techniques. The data taken for this study were 100 employees at PT Kumala Indonesia Shipyard in Batam City. Data collection was done by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of grouping the data based on the variables and types of respondents. This study concludes that compensation and organizational culture affect motivation, compensation and organizational culture affect employee performance, motivation affects employee performance and compensation and organizational culture affects employee performance through motivation as an intervention variable.

Abstract

The company PT Bintang Lima Imada is a company engaged in the distribution of basic necessities. The company, PT Bintang Lima Imada, is located in the Citra Buana Center complex Blok e No. 8 Seraya Batam, Lubuk Baja District, Batam city. The company sells food products such as flag milk, syrup, bread and vitamins. The company has subsidiaries located in Tanjung Balai Karimun and Tanjung Pinang. A good company certainly has a good performance. In terms of employee performance, employees at PT Bintang Lima Imada have less than optimal performance because the company has not been able to achieve the set targets in the last six months. This is because leaders who pay less attention to the company's achievement so that the problem of achieving company targets is not optimal every month. At PT Bintang Lima Imada, there are employees whose work discipline is still lacking due to frequent delays and absenteeism at work, resulting in a lot of work being delayed. The population taken by the researchers were all employees at PT Bintang Lima Imada totaling 115 employees. The sample was selected through existing techniques, in this study using a saturated sample technique which means using all existing population sets. The sample in this study consisted of 115 respondents. The results show that there is a simultaneous and partial influence between leadership and work discipline variables on employee performance.

Abstract

Therefore, it is necessary to establish yourself in action and make a mature and courageous decision to take risks, because in the world of business the road is not always smooth, but there will be various obstacles, both in terms of profit and loss. Abstract

Human resources consist of all individuals who play a role in the company. In a company, human resources have an important role because they will be directly involved in the process of achieving targets. This research was carried out with the aim of seeing the influence of motivation, work discipline on employee performance at PT OSI Electronics Batam. This research is descriptive quantitative research with a sample of 100 respondents. The results of the study found that; 1) The work motivation variable (X1) can affect the employee performance variable (Y) seen from the results of the significant value of the X1 variable is 0.152 or > 0.05 and the Tcount value of 1.445 is smaller than the Ttable value of 1.660 this means that the X1 hypothesis is rejected or the variable Motivation has no significant effect on employee performance variables; 2) The work discipline variable (X2) cannot affect the employee performance variable (Y) seen from the results of the significant value of the X2 variable is 0.000 or <0.05 and the Tcount is 7.511 > the Ttable value is 1.660, this means that the X2 hypothesis is accepted or the Discipline variable work has a significant effect on employee performance variables; 3) The variable work motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) jointly affect the employee performance variable (Y) seen from the results that the significant value obtained is 0.000 (<0.005), so it can be concluded that the variable work motivation, work discipline has a significant effect simultaneously (together) on employee performance variables.

Abstract

Human resources are factors that need to be considered by a company. Human resources are a driving tool to be able to run a company and as an asset for the survival of the company both in the short and long term. All companies certainly have the same goal, namely to achieve a profit and have a very small risk of loss. In order to achieve this goal, a company needs to maximize the use of production and non-production factors such as capital, labor, worker skills, technology and other factors. Of all these factors, it is an important factor, but the most important factor is human resources, namely workers, if there are no workers, then no one runs the company. In this study using a descriptive research design and a quantitative approach. The application used to assist in this research is SPSS version 25. The sample used is 120 respondents with a random sampling system. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of statistical tests, it is known that the variables of work discipline, motivation, compensation and employee performance are normally distributed, in which the independent variables do not occur multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The results of the t test show that the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the f test results simultaneously state that work discipline, motivation, and compensation variables have a significant effect on employee performance.
