Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) technology is a computer technology capable of replicating a real environment into an immersive world. VR is also capable of simulating the user's physical condition so that they are able to interact. In the world of education as a support for educational activities, especially for vocational high school students who are more dominant in practicum, this study aims to show the results of the early stages of implementing Fiber Optic (FO) learning support modules. The module development process is carried out in several stages: scenario preparation, 3D asset development with low poly optimization, scenario integration with 3D assets, triggering every interaction, multiuser settings, and implementation. To build a good VR Fiber Optic application, measurements using OVR metrics are carried out. This measurement aims to determine the reliability of the application that affects the user experience. In the OVR metric measurement, the highest FPS value is 43, and the lowest FPS value is 27. The value obtained is good enough to run VR applications with low poly asset composition. Measurement of the level of user satisfaction is also carried out by using the PIECES Framework. From the measurement results, the value of each variable is in the range of 3.4 - 4.91, which means that users are satisfied with the VR FO application as a virtual learning support module. This research shows that Virtual Reality technology can provide an overview of practicum that is easy to access and not limited by space and material.

Abstract

Efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus have underscored the critical importance of mask-wearing as a preventive measure. Concurrently, road traffic accidents, often resulting from human error, have emerged as a significant contributor to global mortality rates. This study endeavors to address these pressing issues by employing advanced Deep Learning techniques to detect mask usage and identify drowsy eyes, thus contributing to the prevention of COVID-19 and accidents due to driver fatigue. To achieve this objective, an embedded system was developed, utilizing the integration of hardware and software components. The system effectively utilizes MobileNetV2 for face mask detection and employs HOG and SVM algorithms for drowsy eye detection. By seamlessly integrating these detection systems into a single embedded device, the simultaneous detection of both mask usage and drowsy eyes is made possible. The results demonstrates a commendable accuracy rate of 80% for face mask detection and 75% for drowsy eye detection. Furthermore, the mask detection component exhibits a remarkable training accuracy of 99%, while the drowsy eye detection component demonstrates an 80% training accuracy, affirming the system's efficacy in precisely identifying masks and drowsy eyes. The proposed embedded system offers potential applications in enhancing road safety. Its capability to effectively detect drowsy eyes and mask usage in car drivers contributes significantly to preventing accidents due to driver fatigue. Additionally, it plays a vital role in mitigating COVID-19 transmission by promoting widespread mask-wearing among individuals. This study exemplifies the potential of integrating Deep Learning methodologies with embedded systems, thus paving the way for future research and development in the realm of driver safety and virus prevention.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat cepat dan pesat saat ini menjadi tuntutan dalam dunia pendidikan untuk selalu menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi terhadap usaha untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan membuat sistem informasi pengelolaan data siswa di MI Nahdlatul Ulama Hal ini dikarenakan bahwa kinerja sistem yang ada di MI Nahdlatul Ulama saat ini masih berjalan lambat dan untuk pengolahan data siswa dan pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), metode ini merupakan metode dasar dalam pembuatan sistem informasi yang dimulai dari pemodelan proses bisnisnya, analisa sistem, desain, pembuatan sistem dan pengujian, untuk pemrogramannya menggunakan bahasa PHP dan MySql denganframework codeigniter. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Sistem Informasi Pengelolahan Data Siswa MI Nahdlatul Ulama.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang datang memaksa instansi pendidikan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. ProgramStudi (prodi) S1 Sistem Informasi Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya merupakan salah satunya. Akan tetapiberdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Kaprodi S1 Sistem Informasi disebutkan bahwa sesuai dengan data pdpt unusaper 1 Maret sampai 18 Mei 2020, diketahui bahwa persentase capaian pembelajaran daringnya masih 87,5 %.Kondisi ini memperlihatkan bahwa kesiapan Prodi Sistem Informasi belum 100 %. Oleh karena itu, tujuan utamapenelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan studi kesiapan pembelajaran daring di prodi S1 Sistem Informasi. Hal inimengingat analisis kesiapan diperlukan sebagai titik awal dalam evaluasi pelaksanaan pendidikan di era digital.Penelitian dilakukan dalam 5 tahap, yaitu eksplorasi kondisi perkuliahan offline dan online, identifikasi perubahan,analisis kesiapan, dan identifikasi respon mahasiswa dan dosen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadiperubahan seperti pembuatan kebijakan baru, penggunaan teknologi seperti zoom untuk menggantikan tatap mukalangsung, penyediaan infrastruktur berupa perangkat keras, lunak, dan jaringan, serta penyediaan anggaran untukpembelian kuota internet dari sisi finansial. Status kesiapan prodi S1 sistem informasi dalam pelakasanaanpembelajaran daring adalah Not Ready, hanya membutuhkan persiapan beberapa aspek saja. Sebagai pelengkap,diketahui bahwa respon mahasisa dan dosen untuk kesiapan prodi. Sebanyak 60,9% setuju bahwa Prodi SistemInformasi mempunyai visi mengenai pembelajaran daring dan 54,7% memilih tidak setuju bahwa prodi sisteminformasi mempunyai rencana jangka panjang untuk pelaksnaan pembelajaran daring. Sebanyak 43,8% tidak setujubahwa Prodi Sistem Informasi telah menyediakan program untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan. Sebanyak 62,5%memilih netral terhadap penyediaan infrastruktur. Sebanyak 60,9% memilih setuju bahwa Prodi Sistem Informasisudah menyediakan teknologi yang terintegrasi. Sebanyak 59,4% memilih netral bahwa Prodi Sistem Informasi telahmenyediakan anggaran untuk pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) is known as an essential supporting system for effective policy-making and service delivery. Its primary purpose is establishing an individual's legal identity and vital events to ensure all citizens get their rights well. Furthermore, an advanced level of CRVS is equipped with a forecasting system to serve more useful data. This paper discusses the potential benefits and challenges of using Metabase and Bantu Warga as civil ministry support systems. The spatial data visualization system using open-source Metabase ran well and resulted in many visualization geospatial maps like birth, marriage and divorce, education, and employment. The forecasting autoregression model configuration and cumulative sum dataset reach the best error result in 1056618. The other aspects, like the self-isolation management system, civil documents classification system, and OCR system, have a good result.

Abstract

UMKM di Indonesia tetap menjadi topik penting dalam berbagai kebijakan ekonomi dan pembangunan nasional. Peningkatan kinerja UMKM dapat membantu mencapai tujuan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih baik, pengentasan kemiskinan, dan pemerataan pembangunan di seluruh negeri. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi digital, UMKM kini memiliki lebih banyak peluang untuk meningkatkan daya saing mereka melalui e-commerce, Sistem Informasi Kasir Online, dan platform online lainnya. Digitalisasi memberikan potensi pertumbuhan yang signifikan bagi UMKM.  Dalam rangka mendukung UMKM, kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan implementasi dan sosialisasi sistem kasir online kepada mitra toko ibu aria dengan dibantu Tim Athena. Aplikasi kasir yang dibangun merupakan “Aplikasi Penjualan Toko Berbasis Web”. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, sistem dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada pemilik UMKM toko yaitu Toko Ibu Aria yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Banyu Urip, Surabaya. Hasil luaran pengabdian ini berupa aplikasi kasir online yang berbasis website dimana didalamnya terdapat pengelolaan transaksi keuangan yang disertai dengan sistem manajemen inventaris barang serta dapat memberikan laporan penjualan untuk mengetahui keuntungan yang dapat diperolehnya.

Abstract

The management of inventory data and reports at the Jempol Optical shop is still manual, starting with the input of goods data relating to glasses, frames, lenses, and other optical accessories data. In addition, the preparation of sales reports is also still manual. It takes a system to collect data on optical goods and to prepare sales reports. This study aims to create a software system that can provide solutions with a website-based management information system using Laravel. The method used in this study uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), including literature studies to get references related to the system to be made, needs analysis of the Jempol Optical system to determine system requirements, design of the Jempol Optical system, manufacture of the Jempol Optical system, and system testing of Jempol Optics Website used for black box testing and usability testing. The result of the system created is a management information system with 2 actors (admin and employees) which has 18 features. In black box testing, the system can be used smoothly, and all features can be used according to their functions with a percentage of 100% success. The results of usability testing carried out by shop owners and employees of the Jempol Optical shop, the application is good from the results of tests carried out with a result of 4.2 out of a maximum value of 5. From the test results by giving several statements, it can be concluded that the user agrees with the system that has been made.

Abstract

Currently BEM FEBTD UNUSA does not yet have a web-based information system, and only relies on delivering information and documentation through social media, namely Instagram. The drawback is that the management cannot manage the schedule so that information on the progress of each work program is obtained. This causes limited information that can be known by the academic community about work programs from year to year. Therefore, media is needed that can manage the work program of BEM FEBTD UNUSA. The methodological stages used are problem identification, website needs analysis, website design, website creation, website testing, and website testing analysis. The results of this study are the formation of the BEM FEBTD UNUSA website, and the administrators can manage work program schedules well, provide activity information, organizational profiles, facilitate various news search purposes, important information announcements, and activity documentation galleries. Testing is done by Black Box Testing and Usability Testing. The success percentage of Black Box Testing with 117 Test Cases is 100%. Meanwhile, the test results from Usability Testing show that according to the admin and supervisor, they strongly agree if the website is easy to use, fast, memorable, no errors are found, and satisfied when used. Meanwhile, according to administrators and visitors, they agree that if the website is easy to use, fast, memorable, no errors are found, and satisfied when used.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan wawasan, peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada peserta tentang pentingnya penggunaan website di berbagai bidang terutama di bidang pendidikan kepada para guru di Yayasan An-Nur In Dili, Timor- Leste. Dalam hal, terkait penggunaan website diketahui bahwa sampai saat ini Yayasan tersebut belum memiliki website dan guru di Yayasan An-Nur Dili terkait penguasaan website yang masihlah rendah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian Masyarakat ini diharapkan meningkatkan pemahaman dan wawasan para guru di timor leste tentang penggunaan dan penerapan dan pentingnya belajar menggunakan website sebagai salah tau media belajar dan branding terutama untuk mengenalkan Yayasan An-Nur Timor Leste melalui website sehingga lebih mengenalkan pendidikan melalui teknologi serta meningkatkan kepedulian dan mendukung perilaku digital dengan memanfaatkan kolaborasi website untuk Masyarakat di Dili, Timor Leste, khususnya Civitas Yayasan An-Nur Dili, Timor Leste sebagai dampak  dari sisi positif kolaborasi Pendidikan dan media mengamalkan keilmuan melalui Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat oleh Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat UNUSA. Adapun pengabdian masyarakat internasional ini dilakukan dengan metode yakni pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengenalan, dan pemberian sosialisasi terkait website dan cara membuat post dan page pada website Yayasan An-Nur Dili, Timor Leste dan pemanfaatan website Yayasan yang mendukung sekolah Pendidikan islam yang memiliki kebermanfaatan di bidang pendidikan dan keilmuan. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan pemahaman, pengetahuan dan penggunaan teknologi website setiap individu dapat meningkat dan lebih bermanfaat. Setelah selesai pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengabdian masyarakat, maka langkah akhir adalah melakukan evaluasi dan pelaporan kinerja terkait dampak yang diberikan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini. Adapun, evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner individu yang berupa pretest dan posttest dari peserta pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

One of the important branches of science on an international scale is scientific literacy. This study aimed to increase the science literacy knowledge of elementary school students on the material of the solar system. This study uses the ADDIE type Research and Development (R&D) method, starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Expert testing of a learning product was carried out by users of the Planetarium Glass application, namely grade VI students of SDN Patengteng 2. The results of this media trial on 22 respondents showed 80% effectiveness. This research instrument uses an online questionnaire to users to determine the effectiveness of this learning media. The final result of the Planetarium Glass application media based on augmented reality is an application format that can be used by utilizing an android-based smartphone. This media provides information about the material of the solar system in the form of 3D virtual animation (3 dimensions) accompanied by an explanation of each object in audio form and is equipped with an application usage module. This media is designed to facilitate students' understanding in understanding the material of the solar system effectively and efficiently because students can see directly the material conveyed via the smartphone they use. Learning using the Planetarium Glass application can be used as an alternative learning media in increasing science literacy knowledge of elementary school students, especially in Madura.
