Abstract

The title of this research is the Effect of Packaging and Social Media Marketing on the Decision to Purchase Ground Coffee in Tanah Hitam Village. Where this study aims to analyze the effect of packaging and social media marketing on purchasing decisions.The object of this research is the consumers of ground coffee in the Tanah Hitam area, with the sample collection method in this study using the formula Hair, et al (2010). Where the minimum sample size is 5-10 times the indicator variable, where the indicator variable in this study is 13 times 10 or the maximum sample size from the formula Hair, et al (2010). By using multiple linear regression analysis technique, it can be concluded that the variables of Packaging and Social Media Marketing have a significant effect on purchasing decisions Keywords: Packaging, Social Media Marketing, Purchase Decision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of knowledge, Skills and abilities of human resources in improving the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises in South Bengkulu Regency. This research method is descriptive quantitative. This study conducted a survey on 100 managers of micro, small and medium enterprises in South Bengkulu Regency, using a purposive sampling method. Research data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and data analysis techniques used path analysis with PLS SEM. The results of the study show, a) the p value of knowledge on the performance of SMEs is 0.000 < α = 0.05; b) the p value of Skills on MSME performance is 0.035 < α = 0.05; c) p value Ability on MSME performance is 0.014 < α = 0.05. In conclusion, the competence of knowledge, Skills and abilities of human resources can significantly affect the performance improvement of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in South Bengkulu Regency. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of tangible, tangible, responsiveness, assurance and empathy on people's satisfaction at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research, the method of data collection is done by using observation, documentation and questionnaires. The sample in this study was 145 people who took care of e-KTP at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Bengkulu City. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression test, test of determination and hypothesis testing. Tangible does not have a significant effect on community satisfaction, tangible has not been able to increase community satisfaction. Reliability has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction, because the services provided by employees are able to increase community satisfaction. Responsiveness has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction, this illustrates that the reliability of employees in providing services is able to increase community satisfaction. Assurance has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction, if Assurance increases, community satisfaction will increase. Empathy has a positive and significant influence on community satisfaction because the empathy given by employees is able to increase community satisfaction. Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of work culture, work environment and leadership on employee motivation at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. This type of research is quantitative research, data collection methods are carried out by using observation, documentation and questionnaires. The sample in this study were 35 employees at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression test, determination test and hypothesis test. The results showed that work culture has a positive effect on employee motivation at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. The work environment has a positive effect on employee motivation at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. Leadership has a positive effect on employee motivation at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. Work culture (X_1), work environment (X2), and leadership (X3) together have a positive effect on employee motivation (Y) at PT. Sinar Commerce Prosperous. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of relationship marketing, Store Atmosphere and location on buying interest at the Moy Stuff store. This type of research is associative research, namely research that explains the influence between variables. The population in this study were all consumers in the Moy Stuff store. The sample of this study used the number of indicators used in the questionnaire with the assumption that n x 5 amounted to 115 people. The following conclusions can be drawn: 1).Relationship marketing has a positive effect on buying interest in Moy Stuff, thus the higher the relationship marketing, it will increase buying interest in Moy Stuff. 2). Store atmosphere has a positive effect on buying interest in Moy Stuff, thus the higher the store atmosphere, it will increase buying interest in Moy Stuff. 3). Location has a positive effect on buying interest in Moy Stuff, thus the higher the location, the more buying interest in Moy Stuff. 4).Relationship marketing, store atmosphere and location together show an influence on buying interest. Abstract

Universities in Indonesia face increasingly fierce competition in attracting prospective students to remain and compete with other universities, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu needs to apply factors that can influence student decisions. This research aims to examine the influence of social media marketing, university reputation, tuition fees, location, and product variations on students' decisions to study at UM Bengkulu. The data used is primary data. This research is included in quantitative research with a purposive sampling technique. The population of this research was all UM Bengkulu students, totaling 800 respondents. This research uses SEM-PLS version 4.0. The results of this research state that tuition fees, location, and product variety have a significant influence on student decisions, while social media marketing and university reputation have no influence on students' decisions to study at UM Bengkulu.

Abstract

Affective commitment is ultimately carried out by a leader in an organization, including in high schools. This study mainly aims to examine the influence of personality and job satisfaction on the affective commitment of high school principals mediated by motivation. A quantitative survey was employed in this study. The sample studied was 90 public high school principals in Jakarta, Indonesia. The data were collected through a questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed a significant relationship between the public school principals’ personality and job satisfaction on their affective commitment which is mediated by motivation. In more detail, the results indicated: i) a positive direct effect of personality on affective commitment, personality on motivation, and job satisfaction on the motivation of public school principals; ii) no significant direct effect of job satisfaction on affective commitment; and iii) a mediating role of motivation, that directs to a positive and significant influence on personality, job satisfaction, and principals’ affective commitment. The study’s implications for related authorities are presented.

Abstract

This study almed to determine the effect of brand image and product quality toward Wardah Cosmetics Costumers’ loyalty as the study on Students of Management Study Program, Faculty Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. The data collection technique of this study used observation, interviw, and quetionnaire. The data analysis technique of this study used instrument tests, classical assumption tests, analysis of respondents’ respones, multiple linier analysis of the determination coefficient and also hypotesis testing. The result of the study show that in line with the multiple linier test obtained the regression equation which is as follows: Y= 5.224 + 0.200 (X_1) + 0.332 (X2). The test result can be seen that the variable Brand Image (X1) show tcount> ttable (2.502 > 1.98580) and (sig <α = 0,014 < 0.050) variable Product Quality (X2) obtained tcount> ttable (9.150 > 1.98580) and (sig <α = 0,000 < 0.050). Based on the finding above can be concluded that Brand Image and Product Quality have a positive and significant effect toward Wardah Cosmetics Costumers’ Loyalty as a study on students of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu.

Abstract

The title of this study is the Strategy of Increasing Consumer Food Loyalty in Curup City, Rejang Lebong Regency (Case Study in "Henvian" Typical Food Industry). This research is based on the importance of strategies in increasing business and consumer loyalty to products sold.Strategies to increase business and consumer loyalty can be done with a SWOT analysis. Place of this research is the "Henvian" shop that sells typical Rejang lebong food. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Informants in this study were people who were considered to know for certain about the HENVIAN Specialty Food Store in Curup City, Rejang Lebong Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study is a SWOT analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a typical Rejang Lebong food business.The results of this study can be concluded that the internal factors that are the strength of the marketing strategy are the quality of the product that is good at a price affordable to the public and tourists, service that is friendly and responsive to consumer needs, as well as technological advancements that facilitate the promotion of business. Internal factors that are a weakness are often lack of stock, there are some products that do not meet the standard packaging, the product shelf life is short, employees do not use uniforms. External factors that become opportunities are a fairly high economic community, abundant raw materials while external factors that are a threat are the many competitors, an unstable economy, the price of basic needs increases. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis of internal and external factors, the strategy used is to improve product quality by improving the appearance of packaging and quality of content and quality of service by providing uniforms to employees and providing standards of service to consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and personality on the performance of employees of PT. BNI Syariah Bengkulu. This study used a sample of 42 respondents. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression. This research uses validity test, reliability test, followed by hypothesis testing. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, emotional intelligence and personality have a positive effect on employee performance (Y), this is evidenced by the regression equation Y = 7.14.210 + 0.269X1 + 0.821X2. As well as the coefficient of determination R square = 0.378, which means emotional intelligence and personality, contributed 37.8% to employee performance (Y) and 62.2% was influenced by other factors not explained in this study. From the results of hypothesis testing, emotional intelligence has a significant effect on employee performance. Personality has a significant effect on employee performance. From the results of the F test, emotional intelligence and personality have a significant effect on employee performance.
