Abstract

Towilfiets - Authentic Javanese Village Cycling Tour is a typical antique cycling tour concept with a trip around villages and rice fields in Bantar Kulon Village, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. Tourists can feel and be directly involved with the lives of residents. Towilfiets offers visitors in addition to seeing the rural environment, including the historic bridge made by Ir Soekarno, namely the Bantar bridge, which connects Sleman Regency and Kulon Progo Regency which was built during the Dutch aggression. PKM aims to optimize marketing through social media. By realizing the great potential as a marketing medium, they create interesting and informative content that can attract the attention of potential tourists. One of the increasing number of followers and impressions on Towilfiets' TikTok account reflects the effectiveness of this move. The marketing strategy that we carry out in the form of marketing digitalization, branding, management, and web development is expected to become a leading tourist destination that can attract tourists. One of the strategic steps of website development specifically for Towilfiets. By creating a digital platform www.towilfiets.com, they provide access to information to prospective tourists about onthel bicycle tour tour packages, as well as other details that support the attraction of Towilfiets. The use of this technology is an indicator of success in achieving public awareness of these tourist destinations.

Abstract

One of the main causes of low reading and writing skills in Indonesia is the lack of access to books and adequate reading facilities. The availability of reading books and facilities at the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village, Pemalang is still very limited, resulting in low community literacy. Community service by the KKN Team 16 UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan in the form of upgrading the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village, Pemalang. The method of implementing this service uses a participatory method involving the KKN Team 16, the village, and the Warungpring community itself. The form of community service packaged in the Ngudi Ilmu Library upgrading program is divided into eight activities including, Coordination with the Village regarding the Library Upgrading plan, Field Observation regarding the condition of the Library, Implementing Library Cleanliness, Inventorying Library Books, Conducting Open Book Donations, Adding Books and Library Collections, Rearranging the Library, and Symbolic Inauguration of the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village.

Abstract

Preservasi ruas jalan Biluhu Barat–Kota Gorontalo–Limboto–Isimu merupakan upaya penting untuk menjaga kualitas infrastruktur jalan yang mengalami kerusakan akibat faktor usia, beban lalu lintas yang meningkat, serta ketidaksesuaian drainase. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, melibatkan mitra pengabdian seperti pemerintah daerah, Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, serta pihak teknis dan kontraktor terkait, dalam rangka merencanakan dan melaksanakan strategi preservasi jalan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan survei awal, ditemukan kerusakan berupa lubang, retakan, dan penyempitan drainase yang menyebabkan genangan air, yang jika tidak segera ditangani berpotensi memperburuk kondisi jalan dan meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan. Preservasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan kapasitas jalan melalui perbaikan permukaan jalan, sistem drainase, serta pelebaran jalan. Secara keseluruhan, pendampingan terhadap stakeholder dalam proses preservasi ruas jalan Biluhu Barat–Kota Gorontalo–Limboto–Isimu memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas teknis, pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat, kolaborasi antar pihak terkait. Selain itu, keberhasilan kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak sosial dan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat setempat, dengan memperbaiki infrastruktur jalan yang mendukung kelancaran transportasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2024 di Laboratorium Sekolah SMA 1 Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan, dengan sasaran utama Guru MGMP Biologi dan IPA. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyampaian teori, demonstrasi, latihan pembuatan media tumbuh, sterilisasi media, isolasi, serta diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab. Penyampaian teori bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai praktikum Mikrobiologi. Demonstrasi dilakukan agar peserta dapat mengamati langsung prosedur dan tahapan sterilisasi serta pembuatan medium tumbuh menggunakan bahan dan alat yang murah dan mudah didapatkan disekitar sekolah. Praktik dimaksudkan agar peserta memperoleh keterampilan dalam melaksanakan proses kerja pembuatan media tumbuh mikroba. Diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah yang muncul selama penyampaian teori dan kegiatan praktik. Berdasarkan kegiatan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan praktikum pembuatan media kultur mikroba menggunakan bahan dan peralatan sederhana dengan biaya rendah. Program ini membekali guru-guru dengan keterampilan untuk melaksanakan praktikum dengan mudah di laboratorium sekolah. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru peserta pelatihan mampu membuat media tumbuh mikroba serta memahami prinsip dasar pembuatan media dan isolasi mikroba. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman guru dalam merancang praktikum mikrobiologi menggunakan peralatan dan bahan yang ada di laboratorium sekolah dengan biaya yang sangat murah.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that have a great contribution to the development of literacy. A student is equipped with knowledge so that he can explore the potential in himself to create a written work. The purpose of this assistance is to increase the potential of students in literacy activities and encourage students to continue to work. This method of mentoring uses the community based participatory research (CBPR) method to find the potential of students in developing literacy at the Assunniyyah Kencong Jember Islamic Boarding School which has now entered the industrial era 4.0. This research data was obtained through direct observation and documentation studies to the students. As a result of this assistance, students can increase their literacy potential and can produce a written work according to  the passion of each student. From the description above, it can be concluded that students have the potential to be literate among Islamic Boarding Schools, but they need special assistance so that their writing can be developed so that it produces a written work.

Abstract

For teachers, digital literacy is an important ability and skill to master. One form of digital literacy that is increasingly relevant is the ability to make animated videos. However, many teachers may not yet have the skills in using Plotagon or making animated videos in general. Therefore, special training is needed to improve the digital literacy of teachers at Dharma Amiruhur High School, especially in terms of making Plotagon-assisted animation videos. This service was carried out by a team of service from Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, the service partner is SMA Dharma Amiluhur with participants being teachers at SMA Dharma Amiluhur totaling 12 people. The approach used is an active participation, activity orientation, program, and independence approach. The results of the service show that the implementation also shows that the success of the implementation of the service. The success can also be seen from the average results obtained showing that ?80% of participants have knowledge and understanding related to Plotagon animation videos. This service made the teachers of SMA Dharma Amiluhur as participants helped in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan bertujuan untuk membentuk peserta didik menjadi manusia yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab.  Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi membuat dosen dan mahasiswa harus dapat menyesuaikan dan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi agar proses pembelajaran berlangsung lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penerapan pembelajaran inovatif adalah pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan internet atau yang sering disebut dengan e-learning. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan serta keterampilan kepada mahasiswa semester 5 Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Cenderawasih tentang penggunaan e-learning dalam pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah teori dan praktek. Hasil pengabdian ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada mahasiswa tentang e-learning dalam bentuk Learning Management System (LMS). Semua peserta mengikuti pelatihan dengan antusias dan respon yang sangat baik. Selain itu, mahasiswa sebagai peserta pelatihan dengan adanya kegiatan ini lebih termotivasi untuk belajar mandiri.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly fierce competition on the Shopee e-commerce platform, effective strategies are crucial for online stores to remain competitive. This guide examines the implementation of an SEO optimization strategy during an internship program at Company XYZ to enhance product visibility and traffic, focusing on stores in the fashion industry. The activities include identifying underperforming products, conducting relevant keyword research through competitor analysis and market trends, and optimizing product titles. The results indicate that well-executed SEO optimization can significantly boost product exposure without relying on paid promotions. However, evaluating the success of product visibility requires considering various factors beyond keyword optimization in product titles. This initiative also highlights the importance of regular monitoring and analysis of search trends and competitors to ensure the long-term relevance of SEO strategies. The findings from this activity are expected to provide practical guidance for Shopee store owners, particularly in the fashion market, in optimizing their product performance amidst intense competition.

Abstract

This activity addresses the themes of literacy and guidance on gadget use, aiming to equip children at Sekolah Master Depok with the skills needed to navigate modern life while maintaining positive activities like reading. In an increasingly sophisticated digital world, gadgets are not something foreign across all age groups, including children. While these technologies provide easy access to both beneficial and harmful content, the need for digital literacy has never been more urgent. UNESCO reports that Indonesia’s reading interest index is just 0.001%, meaning only one in every 1,000 Indonesians is an avid reader. Furthermore, Senior Economist Aviliani of INDEF highlights that Indonesia's digital literacy rate is only 62%, the lowest in ASEAN, where the average is around 70%. In response to these concerns, this activity was implemented at schools that cater to children with limited access to educational resources. Several strategies were employed, including explaining the positive impacts of literacy, introducing books and educational apps, discussing the negative consequences of excessive gadget use, and guiding students on how to use gadgets for productive purposes. The final results (outputs) produced from the activity that will be achieved are in the form of articles, videos, and posters designed to encourage positive behaviors. The expected benefits include a greater interest in literacy and the responsible use of gadgets, particularly for children in underprivileged areas. Additionally, the program aims to prevent the negative effects of digital devices, such as exposure to pornography and online gambling.

Abstract

Law students at Syiah Kuala University (USK) face significant challenges in planning their careers, mainly due to a lack of understanding of career opportunities in the legal field and limited access to career counseling services. This condition often results in uncertainty in career decision-making, which has an impact on anxiety and academic performance. This community service activity aims to provide a solution through the implementation of a structured career counseling program. The method used is descriptive quantitative research which includes individual counseling sessions and assessments using inventory tests, in the form of The Student Career Construction Inventory (SCCI), Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ) and Color Personality Test. The results of this community service activity indicate that some students gain increased knowledge and understanding related to the career they want to achieve. In addition, there are mental health conditions and personalities that also show a relationship with the need for career counseling in students.
