Abstract

This research is motivated by how visually impaired parents exercise social control over their sighted children in the city of Pekanbaru. The research aims to understand the process of conveying values and to identify the obstacles and sanctions imposed by visually impaired parents in their social control of their children. The study utilizes a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques involving interviews and observations. Subject selection for the research employs a purposive method with a snowball technique. Visually impaired parents play a crucial role in guiding the behavior and development of their children. Despite their physical limitations, visually impaired parents demonstrate a high level of concern and commitment to the education, household chores, and religious practices of their children. Effective social control by visually impaired parents over their children occurs when the values are effectively conveyed. If the values are not effectively conveyed, obstacles may arise, and these obstacles can be addressed through the imposition of sanctions to maintain control.

Abstract

Social studies learning must be taught to students in a constructivist manner. There are 5 (five) methods that can be taught in social studies learning, including cooperative-based learning, design-based learning, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and problem-based learning. However, there are still many students who are less interested in social studies learning. Abstract

This research aims to determine the causes of junior high school students' lack of interest in social studies subjects. Students' lack of interest in social studies subjects is an obstacle to the success of social studies learning. This is because students who are not interested in social studies subjects will tend to underestimate social studies subjects. This research uses the library research method. This research went through steps which included searching for journals that were relevant to the title of our research, then identifying and classifying several sources, then we reviewed them descriptively and compiled the results of the systematic literature review into a journal. The results of this research show that the factors causing students' lack of interest in social studies subjects include the lack of relevance of learning material to everyday life, monotonous teaching methods, and students' perceptions of the difficulty of social studies subject matter. Apart from that, environmental factors and family support also play a role in influencing students' interest in learning social studies. Efforts to increase students' interest in social studies subjects involve improving the curriculum, developing innovative teaching methods, and increasing interaction between learning material and the context of students' daily lives. Apart from that, involving parents in supporting social studies learning can be an effective strategy in stimulating students' interest in learning social studies.

Abstract

Education management plays an important role in making decisions about curriculum content and how education is planned and delivered. Inequality in access to education and curricular issues are two aspects of concern in Marx-inspired analyses of social inequality in education. The purpose of this research is to explain about the Assessment of Karl Marx's Perspective in Education Management: An Analysis of Social Inequality in the Education System. The method used in this study uses qualitative research procedures using a research approach in the form of a literature study. The sources of information in this research are reviewed from various novel sources of literature, research reports, scientific essays, theses, dissertations and posts both print and electronic related to the Study of Karl Marx's Perspective in Education Management: An Analysis of Social Inequality in the Education System. The results of this study suggest that addressing social inequalities in the education system, education management should prioritise fairer access for all students, regardless of their social and economic background. This could include providing financial aid, scholarships and support programmes for underprivileged students. In addition, education management needs to focus on improving the quality of education across the region. Improved school facilities, better teacher training and more relevant curriculum development are important steps in creating higher quality education. In this way, all students have the same opportunity to get a quality education.

Abstract

Creating a social justice-orientated education system through resource redistribution will open the door for every individual to get a quality education and develop their full potential. This will help reduce social inequality in education, which in turn can have a positive impact on society and the economy as a whole. The purpose of this research is to explain about Karl Marx's Theory and Redistribution of Educational Resources: Reviewing Social Justice-Oriented Education Management. The method used in this study uses qualitative research procedures using a research approach in the form of a literature study. Sources of information in this study were reviewed from various novel sources of literature, research reports, scientific essays, theses, dissertations and posts both print and electronic related to Karl Marx Theory and Redistribution of Educational Resources: Reviewing Social Justice-Oriented Education Management. The results of this study show that applying Marx's theory in education management involves a number of concrete steps, including equitable resource allocation, free or affordable education, inclusion, critical education, the role of government, community participation, and quality evaluation. These are measures that aim to transform the education system into a powerful tool for reducing social inequality and ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to develop fully. Working towards social justice in education requires the co-operation of various parties, including governments, educational institutions, communities and individuals. Only with concerted efforts can we create an education system that empowers all individuals, without exception, to reach their full potential and build a more just and socially equitable society.
