Abstract

Problem solving is the ability of groups and individuals to find a solution to a problem. It is necessary to have problem-solving skills to face the challenges of the 21st century. Problem-solving abilities can be improved using the problem-based learning model. The use of the environment as a learning resource makes learning more meaningful. So it is necessary to develop teaching modules based on problem-based learning integrated with environmental education to improve problem-solving skills. This study aims to analyze the results of the validity of teaching modules based on problem-based learning integrated with environmental education to improve problem-solving skills on climate change material. The method used in this study is the R&D method with the ADDIE development model. In this study, there were three stages used, namely the analysis stage, namely determining the needs of students regarding the teaching modules on climate change material, the design stage, namely planning the teaching modules to be developed, and the development stage, namely compiling and validating. The validity of the teaching module is assessed based on the feasibility of the content, language and presentation which consists of nine indicators. The analysis technique was carried out by calculating the results of the teaching module validity of the 4 validators. The advantages of this teaching module are that it uses the PBL learning model, integrates environmental education, trains indicators of problem-solving abilities. The drawback is that the teaching modules are not yet digital based. The main suggestion from the validator is to make the cover page more attractive and characterize the author's character and the trigger questions included at the problem orientation stage can be broader (not short). The results showed that the average validity value of the three validators in problem-based learning integrated teaching modules integrated with environmental education to improve problem-solving skills on climate change material developed had very valid validity results. This is in accordance with the overall average value of validity and reliability obtained by 96.53% and 93.65%.  So it can be concluded that the teaching modules developed are feasible to be applied in the learning process. The implication of this research is to have a positive impact on students regarding the use of environmental education (environment as a learning resource) in physics learning so that it can be used as a solution to improve students' problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

The bird industry has a promising opportunity because in a year it can generate a turnover of 1.7 trillion, so the bird business is much favored by the community. One of the bird breeding UD Murai Batu Tarto Jaya., can earn a turnover of 50-80 million per month. This turnover can still grow, but there is a market gap of 20%. This gap occurs due to market demand that is not met because the production approach is still manual and the condition of the birdhouse space is inadequate. Another problem is the inseparable use of finances between business and household needs, which results in unmeasured financial performance and causes difficulties in accessing business capital loans from financial institutions. This community service aims to provide solutions for strengthening production capacity through improved incubation techniques, clean production-based birdhouse design, strengthening the managerial side through a simple financial system implementation package, and entrepreneurial management training. The method used in building a complete solution in this community service acquired Borg and Gall R&D with the calculation of the questionnaire used to measure the achievement of knowledge and skills induction based on the three-box method. The implementation of the community service program has shown an increase in the skills of partner SMEs by 87%, an increase in knowledge by 88.09%, and the development of ideas for sustainability by 96.3%, as well as providing instrument strengthening by providing automatic hatching machines and cages.  This community service provides a complete solution to strengthening the production and management of financial systems in Murai Batu Tarto Jaya SMEs.

Abstract

Indonesia has an enormous amount of diversity, and unconsciously every culture has a different attraction. In its own culture, there is a science of physics that few people know much about, but local wisdom from several different areas can be used as a source of study in physics, one of which is traditional kekehan games. The study aims to understand the concept of physics in the traditional games of kekehan. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive methods. The approach used in this study is the ethnographic approach. The data collection method used is observation, documentation, and literature study. Observation and documentation are done in the physics education program at surabaya state university. From observation, documenting and literature studies, it can be concluded that mass influences the acceleration of the hostility Angle, where it inverse to angular acceleration. The second experiment showed that the fingers affect the rotation time. And it can also be discovered that the square of the finger is comparable to the kinetic energy rotation. The concept of physics of inertia includes moments of inertia, angles, heavy forces, circular motion, torque, and style moments.
