Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems is a person's ability to understand problems, construct mathematical models, choose the right strategy, and evaluate the correctness of the solution. This study aims to analyze errors in solving sequence and limit problems of real number sequences in semester VI students using the Newman procedure. This study is a qualitative descriptive study involving 10 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Medan, data was collected through tests. The instrument used was real analysis problems with the topic of sequences and limit problems consisting of 4 essay questions. Data collection techniques include written tests. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the average student error in solving 4 sequence and limit problems is 5% reading errors, 16.5% understanding errors, 7.5% transforming problems, 11.25% errors in the process skills stage, and 8.75% in writing/notation. The most significant error occurred at the understanding stage, with an average percentage of 16.8%.

Abstract

Research conducted by Hafitri Amelia Syam This study was conducted to analyze the understanding and implementation of Islamic business ethics when buying and selling transactions in the Bengkuring market in Samarinda City Islamic business ethics include the main principles such as Tawhid, balance, honesty, responsibility, and free will This should be a guide for activities in conducting research, The research method used is explained by using observation techniques on the conditions in the Bengkuring market, interviews and documentation Information providers for this survey include market managers, sellers and buyers The results of the study indicate that market activities that occur like markets in general try to apply the principles of Islamic business ethics For example, by maintaining transactions, we have maintained correct information related to products and sales of halal products and tried to provide free will for buyers to choose what products are needed However, the implementation is still not optimal due to the limited knowledge of sellers and buyers in the concept of Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

UD Berkah Jaya is one of the small company located in Jember Regency, precisely in the village of Baratan, Patrang District. The pandemic conditions in early 2020 made UD Barokah's efforts in producing incense to stop because it could not send its products to the island of Bali. The business owner has a plan to replace the incense production into kampung chicken feed, but the owner does not have the ability to make animal feed, so he needs training and assistance from experts from the Jember State Polytechnic to make animal feed. This service program will be carried out by providing assistance in the manufacture and production of kampung chicken feed. It is hoped that this activity will increase the knowledge and skills of UD Berkah Jaya to be able to produce kampung chicken feed independently. The implementation of this community service activity includes the following activities: Survey of service locations, discussions with owners, preparing materials for training in making kampung chicken feed, training on feed packaging and marketing, coordinating and evaluating the results of service implementation, making service reports, journal articles and print media. /electronic results of dedication. This activity will be carried out for 6 (six) months from June 2023 to November 2023.

Abstract

Improving the capacity of human resource management (HR) for coastal communities. Communities in this area have great potential in the capture fisheries, aquaculture, and seafood processing sectors, but still face various obstacles in forming and managing businesses collectively and sustainably. This activity is designed to equip the community with basic knowledge and skills in HR management through interactive presentation methods, group discussions, organizational simulations, and post-training assistance. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of organizational structure, role division, group communication, and participatory leadership. The training also succeeded in raising critical awareness and community initiatives to form joint business groups. Theoretical discussions showed a strong link between the results of this service and the theory of experiential learning empowerment, which emphasizes active participation and social transformation based on collective awareness. Theoretical findings show that social change in coastal communities can begin with increasing internal capacity and collaboration in community-based business management. Community.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between body weight, height and gross motor performance in early childhood. The measurement method uses internationally recognized standards for measuring children's weight and height. Gross motor performance is evaluated through a series of motor tests that include skills such as jumping, running, rolling a ball, and throwing. The results of the analysis show that the multiple linear regression value of weight and height presented at 23.6% is known to have a big influence on children's gross motor skills. Children with a higher body weight tend to have better gross motor skills. On the other hand, the relationship between height and gross motor performance did not show a significant correlation. This research provides important insight into the role of body weight in the development of gross motor skills in early childhood. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for the development of better intervention programs in the development of motor skills in children.

Abstract

Early childhood teacher education plays an important role in preparing educators to teach science effectively and relevantly. However, learning materials that integrate local wisdom are still limited, especially in Papua. This approach is expected to improve prospective teachers competence in teaching science while preserving local culture. The purpose of developing this local wisdom-based module is to produce a module that can improve students' understanding of science teaching methods that are relevant to the local context and enrich students' knowledge of local wisdom. The module was developed using the 4D Model which includes define, design, develop and disseminate. This research uses data collection instruments including documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are used to calculate the validity of material and media validators, as well as student responses. Based on the assessment of material experts and media experts, an average feasibility of 3.8 and 3.6 with very valid criteria and the results of the trial on students with a score of 95.33%, so it can be concluded that the Early Childhood Science module based on Papuan local wisdom is valid and suitable for use in the learning process in the classroom in the Early Childhood Science course in the Department of Early Childhood Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas, kendala, dan solusi optimalisasi penggunaan media LCD proyektor dalam pembelajaran di SDN 165 Palembang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian lapangan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan guru, serta diperkuat dengan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LCD proyektor telah diterapkan secara menyeluruh dan berdampak positif terhadap motivasi, keterlibatan, serta pemahaman siswa. Media ini terbukti membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan menarik, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, masih terdapat kendala teknis seperti masalah koneksi kabel HDMI, keterbatasan jumlah perangkat, dan kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam pengoperasian. Untuk itu, diperlukan solusi berupa penambahan unit proyektor, pelatihan teknis bagi guru, penyediaan perangkat pendukung, serta peningkatan literasi digital siswa. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, penggunaan LCD proyektor diharapkan dapat dioptimalkan guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan efektif di era digital.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, terutama di era modern yang menuntut inovasi dan efektivitas dalam proses pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya evaluasi sebagai alat untuk mengukur ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran, menilai efektivitas metode pengajaran, serta memberikan umpan balik yang membangun bagi guru dan peserta didik. Di era modern, evaluasi tidak hanya dilakukan secara konvensional, tetapi juga melalui pendekatan digital dan autentik yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Dengan evaluasi yang tepat, guru dapat meningkatkan strategi pembelajaran, menyesuaikan pendekatan pengajaran, serta mendorong terciptanya proses belajar yang bermakna dan berkualitas. Evaluasi yang dilakukan secara objektif, adil, dan berkesinambungan akan menjadi fondasi penting dalam menciptakan pendidikan yang adaptif dan progresif.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan karena banyaknya pencemaran yang terjadi di Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan kesehatan masyarakat di sekitar sungai Sei Mencirim sangat terganggu karena kualitas air menunjukkan kondisi yang tercemar. Jenis pengabdian ini termasuk dalam studi kasus. Lokasi pengabdian dilakukan di Sungai Sei Mencirim pada bulan September dan Oktober 2024. Populasi pengabdian adalah aliran sungai yang mengalir melalui Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai, sedangkan sampel pengabdian adalah sampel air sungai di sepanjang Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai dengan cara mengambil tiga sampel pada setiap plot dengan jarak antar plot masing-masing tiga ratus meter dan koordinatnya ditentukan dengan menggunakan Koordinat GPS. Hasil pengujian parameter kualitas air sungai Sei Mencirim menyatakan bahwa parameter TSS, BOD, COD, total fosfat sebagai P, E colli dan fecal coliform telah melebihi standar baku mutu air yang disepakati dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001. Hasil status mutu air Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai dikarakterisasi memakai metode Indeks Pencemaran yaitu sesuai dengan batas baku mutu air termasuk dalam kategori tercemar sedang. E. Coli dan Fecal Coliform sangat tinggi. Sisi ini dapat terjadi sebab pada air sungai terindikasi telah terjadi pencemaran tinja manusia atau hewan pada air tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas, kendala, dan solusi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media edu game word search puzzle terhadap kemampuan menyusun kata siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas V di SD Negeri 227 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media edu game word search puzzle. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan menyusun kata sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (pretest dan posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata 77.08 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 64.76 untuk kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji t-independen menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (2.352 > 1.68), yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media edu game word search puzzle memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyusun kata siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
