Journal of Community Empowerment is multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of empowerment and community Service, published by the English Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram with a publication period of two times in one year, namely in June and December. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community services including (1) social humanities, science, applied science, economic, health, cultural, ICT Development, and administration services, (2) Training and improvement in the results of educational, agricultural, information and communication, and appropriate technology, (3) community empowerment, students community services, local food security, marketing, and less developed region. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. This journal accepts manuscript in Bahasa or English.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk menjawab tantangan keterbatasan lahan, rendahnya literasi teknologi pertanian, dan minimnya akses terhadap inovasi sosial. Mendorong kemandirian pangan melalui integrasi teknologi hidroponik dengan nilai-nilai lokal seperti gotong royong, musyawarah, dan kerja sama. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pertanian hidroponik berbasis nilai lokal, mendorong terbentuknya kelompok usaha bersama, serta mewujudkan model pemberdayaan yang berkelanjutan menuju komunitas pangan mandiri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi, pelatihan partisipatif, penyuluhan teknis, dan praktik langsung instalasi sistem hidroponik sederhana. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Pemuda dan ibu rumah tangga, dengan total peserta sebanyak 35 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi selama pelatihan, serta diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD). Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek hardskill dan softskill. Sebanyak 83% peserta memahami prinsip dasar hidroponik, serta menunjukkan minat tinggi untuk mengembangkan pertanian hidroponik secara mandiri. Dari sisi sosial, program ini berhasil menumbuhkan kolaborasi antarkelompok warga dan mendorong pembentukan Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB). Dampak ekonomis awal terlihat dari peningkatan potensi produksi sayuran lokal yang dipasarkan di lingkungan desa. Program ini menjadi langkah awal menuju komunitas pangan mandiri yang berkelanjutan dan adaptif terhadap tantangan masa depan.Kata kunci: Hidroponik; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Kemandirian Pangan; Nilai Lokal; Inovasi Sosial. ABSTRACTThis activity was carried out to address the challenges of limited land availability, low literacy in agricultural technology, and limited access to social innovation. The initiative aimed to promote food self-sufficiency through the integration of hydroponic technology with local values such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), deliberation, and community collaboration. The program was implemented through methods including socialization, participatory training, technical guidance, and hands-on practice in installing simple hydroponic systems. The partners involved were local youth groups and housewives, with a total of 35 participants. Evaluation was conducted through observation during training sessions and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The results showed a significant increase in both hardskills and softskills. A total of 83% of participants understood the basic principles of hydroponics, and expressed strong interest in independently developing hydroponic farming. Socially, the program succeeded in fostering collaboration among community groups and led to the formation of a Joint Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Bersama/KUB). Initial economic impact was observed through increased production potential of locally grown vegetables marketed within the village. This program serves as an initial step toward building a sustainable and resilient food community capable of adapting to future challenges.Keywords: Hydroponic; Community Empowerment; Food Self-Sufficiency; Local Values; Social Innovation.

Abstract

The simple and cheap yet attractive and innovative learning media can be created from various objects around us including waste fabric scraps. Creativity can make useless waste fabric scraps into products that are useful for learning. The purposes of this community service activity (PkM) is to provide training and assistance to teachers of SDN Petompon 01 Semarang in making learning media from waste fabric scraps. This training activity is expected to empower teachers in developing learning media at SDN Petompon 01 Semarang to be more creative in utilizing waste fabric scraps into learning media so that they can support the learning process in the classroom. This activity was attended by 20 participants and this service was delivered using lecture, discussion, demonstration, and direct practice methods. The results that have been achieved in this community service are an increase in participants in understanding the material presented, an increase in participants in making learning media from waste fabric scraps, and participants can implementation waste fabric scraps in the learning process as learning media

Abstract

ABSTRAKAnemia pada kehamilan menjadi salah satu indikator permasalahan gizi selama kehamilan, dampak bagi kesehatan ibu dan janin menjadi permasalahan baru jika anemia tidak segera diatasi. Pemerintah telah melakukan pendekatan multi sektoral, namun kesadaran pentingnya kecukupan gizi ibu hamil harus menjadi fokus termudah dan murah oleh ibu hamil sebagai solusi. Tersedianya bahan makanan yang murah di Indonesia, bisa menjadi pertimbangan untuk mengolah bahan makanan lokal untuk mencukupi kebutuhan harian ibu hamil. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melibatkan ibu hamil sebanyak 10 orang yang ada di Dusun Tebao Desa Presak Kecamatan Narmada. Pelaksanaan pengabdian mengadopsi langkah-langkah action research yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu : perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan didapatkan antusias dari ibu hamil dalam mendengarkan edukasi dan mengikuti proses kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian karakteristik peserta didapatkan terbanyak sasaran pada kelompok usia kehamilan trimester 3 yaitu 5 orang (50%) dan paling sedikit pada kelompok usia kehamilan trimester 1 yaitu 1 orang (10%). Pada usia ibu hamil terbanyak didapatkan usia tidak beresiko (> 25 tahun dan < 35 tahun) yaitu 7 orang (30%), kemudian usia ibu hamil beresiko (<25 tahun dan > 35 tahun) yaitu 3 orang (30%). Evaluasi pengetahuan rata-rata nilai pre test ibu hamil sebanyak 49 dan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan ibu hamil post test sebanyak 79. Sehingga bisa diartikan didapatkan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu hamil sebanyak 30%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, sasaran bisa mengaplikasikan pola makan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga meningkatkan kesadaran pentingnya makan sehat dan cukup gizi. Intervensi lebih lanjut sangat penting, pelatihan dalam penyimpanan dan pengolahan bahan makanan untuk menjaga nilai gizi makanan selama kehamilan.Kata kunci: Ibu hamil; pola makan; anemia ABSTRACTand fetal health becomes a new problem if anemia is not addressed immediately. The government has taken a multi-sectoral approach, but awareness of the importance of adequate nutrition for pregnant women must be the easiest and cheapest focus for pregnant women as a solution. The availability of cheap food ingredients in Indonesia can be a consideration for processing local food ingredients to meet the daily needs of pregnant women. This community service activity involved 10 pregnant women in Tebao Hamlet, Presak Village, Narmada District. The implementation of the service adopted action research steps consisting of 4 (four) stages, namely: planning, action, observation and evaluation. The results of the activity were obtained from the enthusiasm of pregnant women in listening to education and following the activity process. Based on the results of the participant characteristics assessment, the largest target was in the 3rd trimester pregnancy age group, namely 5 people (50%) and the least in the 1st trimester pregnancy age group, namely 1 person (10%). At the age of pregnant women, the most common age was not at risk (> 25 years and < 35 years) which was 7 people (30%), then the age of pregnant women at risk (<25 years and> 35 years) which was 3 people (30%). Evaluation of the average knowledge value of the pre-test of pregnant women was 49 and the average value of the knowledge of pregnant women post-test was 79. So it can be interpreted that there was an increase in the average knowledge of pregnant women by 30%. The conclusion of this community service activity is that the target can apply eating patterns in everyday life, thereby increasing awareness of the importance of eating healthy and nutritious food. Further intervention is very important, training in storing and processing food ingredients to maintain the nutritional value of food during pregnancy. Keywords: pregnancy; anemia; dietary habit

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis cloud menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam dunia pendidikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kerja guru, khususnya dalam pengelolaan data pembelajaran dan administrasi sekolah. Namun, di MAS Darussalam Tegal Rejo masih ditemukan keterbatasan literasi digital, terutama dalam penggunaan media penyimpanan daring seperti Google Drive. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan Google Drive sebagai solusi penyimpanan data yang aman, efisien, dan mudah diakses. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan intensif. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah MAS Darussalam Tegal Rejo, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 guru tetap dan honorer. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan teknis peserta, seperti membuat folder, mengunggah dan membagikan file, serta mengelola hak akses dokumen. Pelatihan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan literasi digital dan mendorong perubahan perilaku guru dalam mengadopsi teknologi secara berkelanjutan, yang pada akhirnya mendukung transformasi digital dan efisiensi kerja di lingkungan sekolah. Kata kunci: Pelatihan; Google Drive; Penyimpanan Data; Guru. ABSTRACTThe use of cloud-based technology in education has become essential to support teachers’ work efficiency, particularly in managing learning data and school administration. However, at MAS Darussalam Tegal Rejo, many teachers are still unfamiliar with digital storage platforms such as Google Drive. This community service activity aimed to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in utilizing Google Drive as a secure, efficient, and easily accessible data storage solution. The implementation method adopted a participatory approach through socialization, demonstration, hands-on practice, and intensive mentoring. The program involved 20 permanent and honorary teachers as participants. The results revealed a significant improvement in participants’ technical abilities, including creating folders, uploading and sharing files, and managing document access permissions. This initiative highlights that practical and applicable digital literacy training can drive behavioral changes among teachers in adopting technology sustainably, thereby contributing to digital transformation and improving work efficiency and collaboration within the school environment.  Keywords: Training; Google Drive; Data Storage; Teacher

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Isu lingkungan dan ekonomi lokal yang tidak berkelanjutan menjadi tantangan yang nyata di kalangan generasi muda, khususnya mahasiswa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa melalui pendekatan ecotechnopreneurship yang memadukan konsep usaha hijau, kearifan lokal, dan literasi ekologi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop, praktikum, dan pendampingan selama tiga bulan dengan melibatkan 30 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-post test, observasi kegiatan, dan testimoni peserta. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 85% terhadap konsep ecopreneurship, serta 60% peserta telah berhasil membuat prototipe produk usaha hijau berbasis bahan lokal (seperti produk ramah lingkungan dari limbah organik dan ecoprint). Pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesadaran ekologis dan inisiatif kewirausahaan hijau di kalangan mahasiswa  Kata kunci: Ecopreneurship; Green Economy; Kearifan Lokal; Literasi Ekologi; Pemberdayaan Mahasiswa.   ABSTRACTEnvironmental and unsustainable local economic issues pose a real challenge among young people, particularly university students. This initiative aims to empower students through an ecotechnopreneurship approach that combines green business concepts, local wisdom, and ecological literacy. The activities were conducted in the form of workshops, practical sessions, and mentoring over a three-month period, involving 30 students from the Economics Education Program. Evaluation was conducted through pre-post tests, activity observations, and participant testimonials. Results showed an 85% increase in understanding of ecopreneurship concepts, with 60% of participants successfully creating prototypes of green business products using local materials (such as environmentally friendly products made from organic waste and ecoprint). This initiative contributes to enhancing ecological awareness and green entrepreneurship initiatives among students.  Keywords: Ecopreneurship; Green Economy; Local Wisdom; Ecological Literacy; Student Empowerment.

Abstract

ABSTRAKStunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, berdampak pada fisik, mental, dan intelektual. Dusun Jati Kidul, Desa Tonoboyo, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah menghadapi tantangan ini dengan dua balita teridentifikasi stunting dari 28 balita dan lima ibu hamil memerlukan perhatian gizi khusus. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi prevalensi stunting melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti Pemberian Makanan Tambahan di posyandu, sosialisasi pendewasaan usia perkawinan, penanaman tanaman Daun Kelor sebagai sumber pangan lokal bergizi, pengembangan resep makanan lokal untuk ibu hamil, serta pembuatan sistem informasi berbasis website tentang stunting. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan ceramah, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Sosialisasi disampaikan oleh ahli kesehatan, sementara praktik penanaman dilaksanakan bersama mahasiswa dan warga setempat. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting, terutama dalam memanfaatkan sumber pangan lokal dan informasi yang disediakan melalui platform edukasi daring. Intervensi ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan upaya preventif masyarakat terhadap stunting secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Stunting; Pemberian Makanan Tambahan; Sumber Pangan Lokal.ABSTRACTStunting is a chronic nutritional issue that hinders the growth and development of children, affecting their physical, mental, and intellectual capacities. Dusun Jati Kidul, located in Tonoboyo Village, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province faces this challenge with two out of 28 toddlers identified as stunted and five pregnant women requiring special nutritional attention. This community service program aims to reduce the prevalence of stunting through various activities, including the provision of supplementary feeding at local health posts, socialization on delaying marriage age, planting moringa trees as a nutritious local food source, developing local food recipes for pregnant women, and creating a web-based information system on stunting. The implementation methods include lectures, hands-on practice, and evaluation of active community participation. Socialization is conducted by health experts, while planting practices are carried out with students and local residents. The results demonstrate increased community awareness of the importance of stunting prevention, particularly in utilizing local food sources and the information provided through online educational platforms. This intervention has made a significant contribution to enhancing the community's preventive efforts against stunting sustainably.Keywords: Stunting; Supplementary Feeding; Local Food Sources.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pendahuluan: Pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk di Desa Sastrodirjan menimbulkan berbagai masalah lingkungan, terutama meningkatnya volume sampah, dan berkurangnya lahan resapan air yang berpotensi memicu kekeringan. Tujuan: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini Bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan warga dalam menghadapi isu perubahan iklim melalui sosialisasi Program Kampung Iklim ( Proklim ) serta praktik pembuatan biopori. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pemaparan materi, diskusi, dan demontrasi langsung yang melibatkan Dinas Perkim LH kabupaten Pekalongan bersama perangkat desa, kelompok Wanita Tani, PKK, kader kesehatan, dan masyarakat setempat. Hasil: Hasil menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pengolahan sampah organik, dan anorganik, pengurangan emisi gas rumah kaca, serta penerapan biopori sebagai teknologi sederhana untuk resapan air sekaligus untuk media pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos. Partisipasi dan antusiasme warga dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan menunjukan potensi besar untuk menjaga keberlanjutan program. Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; Proklim; biopori; pengolahan sampah ABSTRACTIntroduction: The rapid population growth in Sastrodirjan Village has created various environmental challenges, particularly the increasing volume of waste and the reduction of water catchment areas that may trigger drought. Objective: This community service program aimed to strengthen residents’ knowledge and skills in addressing climate change issues through the socialization of the Climate Village Program (Proklim) and the practical implementation of biopore infiltration holes. Method: The activities were conducted through material presentations, discussions, and direct demonstrations involving the Pekalongan District Environmental and Housing Agency (Dinas Perkim LH), village officials, the Women Farmers Group, PKK, health cadres, and local residents. Result: The outcomes indicated an improvement in community knowledge related to organic and inorganic waste management, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and the application of biopores as a simple technology for water infiltration as well as for processing organic waste into compost. The active participation and enthusiasm of residents in each stage of the activities highlight the strong potential to ensure the program’s sustainability. Keywords: community service; Proklim; biopore; waste management

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Permasalahan yang dihadapi di UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia X, Sumatera Utara adalah kurangnya pemahaman pengasuh mengenai kesehatan mental lansia serta tidak optimalnya sesi konsultasi dalam membantu lansia mengatasi masalah kesehatan mental. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pengasuh tentang kesehatan mental lansia melalui psikoedukasi dan melatih keterampilan mendengarkan cerita lansia untuk menjalankan konsultasi dengan tepat. Metode yang digunakan adalah experimental design dengan empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta monitoring. UPTD Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia X, berfokus pada pelayanan dan rehabilitasi sosial bagi lanjut usia yang terlantar atau tidak mampu. Lembaga ini memiliki visi dan misi untuk mewujudkan lanjut usia yang sejahtera, dan bahagia melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, kesehatan, serta aktivitas sosial yang mendukung kualitas hidup mereka. Program kerja tersebut dilaksanakan oleh Seksi Pengasuhan yang kontak langsung dengan lansia. Oleh karena itu, partisipan dalam pengabdian ini adalah 10 orang yang berasal dari Seksi Pengasuhan (urusan pelayanan PPKS dan urusan analis pelayanan sosial). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner pengetahuan kesehatan mental lansia. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan mental secara signifikan, dari total skor benar 28 sebelum pengabdian menjadi 57 setelah pengabdian. Selain itu, lansia merasa lebih nyaman bercerita, tidak lagi takut dihakimi, dan merasakan adanya solusi nyata terhadap masalah yang dihadapi. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi positif pada peningkatan kualitas layanan panti werdha, membuat lansia lebih bersemangat mengikuti aktivitas sosial, serta memperkuat kompetensi pengasuh dalam mendampingi lansia. Kata kunci: Psikoedukasi; Kesehatan Mental Lansia; Latihan Mendengar Cerita; Konsultasi; Panti Werdha ABSTRACTThe problem faced by the Social Orphanage X, North Sumatra is the lack of caregivers’ understanding of elderly mental health, as well as the suboptimal consultation sessions that are supposed to help the elderly cope with mental health issues. This community service program aims to improve caregivers’ knowledge of elderly mental health through psychoeducation and to train their listening skills in order to conduct proper consultations. The method used is an experimental design consisting of four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring. The Social Orphanage X focuses on providing social services and rehabilitation for neglected or underprivileged elderly individuals. The institution’s vision and mission are to realize elderly well-being and happiness by fulfilling their basic needs, ensuring health, and supporting social activities that enhance their quality of life. The program is carried out by the Caregiving Section, which directly interacts with the elderly. Therefore, the participants in this program consist of 10 individuals from the Caregiving Section (Elderly Welfare Service Unit and Social Service Analyst Unit). The instrument used was a questionnaire on elderly mental health knowledge. The results of the program indicated a significant improvement in mental health knowledge, with the total correct score increasing from 28 before the program to 57 after the program. In addition, the elderly felt more comfortable sharing their stories, were no longer afraid of being judged, and experienced real solutions to their problems. This activity contributed to improving the quality of services at the nursing home, encouraged the elderly to be more enthusiastic in participating in social activities, and strengthened the caregivers’ competencies in assisting the elderly. Keywords: Psychoeducation; Elderly Mental Health; Story Listening Exercise; Consultation; Social Orphanage

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan wisata Goa Jepang di Kalurahan Seloharjo, Bantul merupakan kawasan yang sarat akan nilai sejarah, budaya dan keindahan alam. Namun demikian, kawasan ini juga memiliki beberapa tantangan signifikan terkait kebencanaan dalam pengembangan pariwisata. Pengelola serta masyarakat di sekitar kawasan wisata perlu membekali diri dengan pengetahuan kebencanaan agar dapat meminimalisir kerugian ketika terjadi bencana di masa mendatang. Pelatihan mitigasi bencana menjadi salah satu upaya preventif untuk membekali kelompok masyarakat terdampak dengan pengetahuan terkait kebencanaan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membentuk kelompok masyarakat yang tangguh bencana dan memiliki kemampuan mandiri dalam penanggulangan bencana. Metode yang digunakan dalam mencapai tujuan dari pelatihan ini yaitu metode ceramah dan diskusi kelompok di dalam kelas. Tahapan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, desain program, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penilaian pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan adalah pemahaman Pokdarwis Seloharjo dan Kelompok Wanita Tani Ngentak terkait pengelolaan wisata ramah bencana melalui upaya mitigasi bencana. Pelatihan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan fasilitasi teknologi tepat guna berupa sistem peringatan dini (early warning system) bencana yang dipasang di kawasan wisata Goa Jepang. However, this area also faces some significant challenges related to disasters in tourism development. Managers and communities around the tourist area need to equip themselves with disaster knowledge to minimize losses when disasters occur in the future. Disaster mitigation training is one of the preventive efforts to equip affected community groups with disaster-related knowledge. This training aims to form disaster-resilient community groups and develop independent abilities in disaster management. The methods used in achieving the objectives of this training are lecture methods and group discussions in the classroom. The stages in this activity are needs identification, program design, implementation, and training assessment evaluation. The result of the training is the understanding of Pokdarwis Seloharjo and Ngentak Women Farmers Group regarding disasterfriendly tourism management through disaster mitigation efforts. This training needs to be followed up with the facilitation of appropriate technology in the form of a disaster early warning system installed in the Goa Jepang tourist area. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Upaya penurunan angka stunting di Indonesia memerlukan kolaborasi lintas sektor serta program yang menyentuh akar permasalahan. Salah satu strategi penting adalah edukasi tentang gizi seimbang dan pemantauan penerapannya di masyarakat. Kader posyandu memiliki peran strategis dalam mendampingi masyarakat, khususnya ibu balita, untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip gizi seimbang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader posyandu dalam menjelaskan empat pilar gizi seimbang dan menaksir porsi Makanan Pendamping ASI (MPASI) balita. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah Posyandu di wilayah Kelurahan Padasuka Kecamatan Ciomas, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Mei 2025 dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang ketua kader posyandu. Kegiatan dimulai dengan tahap persiapan dan koordinasi, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan edukasi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, tanya jawab, dan simulasi praktik. Evaluasi keberhasilan kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta menggunakan formulir pre-test dan post-test yang berisi 10 pertanyaan terkait dengan materi yang disampaikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 32,3 poin, dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 60,0 dan post-test sebesar 92,3. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukatif yang disertai simulasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kader secara signifikan. Peningkatan kapasitas kader ini diharapkan berdampak positif dalam mendukung penerapan gizi seimbang dan pencegahan stunting di tingkat komunitas. Kata kunci: Kader Posyandu; MPASI; Standar Porsi; Stunting ABSTRACTEfforts to reduce stunting in Indonesia require cross-sectoral collaboration, including community-based nutrition education. Posyandu cadres play a strategic role in assisting mothers of toddlers to apply the principles of balanced nutrition, particularly in fulfilling complementary feeding (MP-ASI). This community service program aimed to strengthen the capacity of posyandu cadres in explaining the four pillars of balanced nutrition and in estimating appropriate MP-ASI portions for toddlers. The program was conducted in May 2025 in collaboration with Posyandu at Padasuka Village, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency, West Java, with 20 head cadres as participants. Educational activities were delivered through lectures, interactive discussions, and practical simulations. Knowledge evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test instruments. The results showed an average score increase of 32.3 points, from 60.0 to 92.3 (equivalent to a 53.8% improvement). These findings indicate that practice-based education significantly improved cadres’ understanding. Enhanced cadre capacity is expected to support the application of balanced nutrition principles and contribute to stunting prevention at the community level. Furthermore, this program has the potential to be replicated in other posyandu areas as a sustainable approach to improving maternal and child nutrition. Keywords: Complementary Feeding; Portion Standards; Cadres; Stunting
