Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is none other than how the communication strategy carried out by the management of BPR Grazia in facing competition from its competitors. This research was conducted with the intention of analyzing marketing communication strategies in an effort to improve the marketing of BPR Grazia Credit products. The method used is qualitative descriptive with interview techniques and field observations of the Three informants determined through purposive sampling techniques of Commissioners, Branch Heads, Executive Officers and 2 Marketing Staff of BPR Grazia as key informants. With this, researchers try to discuss the efforts that have been and are being carried out by BPR Grazia in its efforts to market banking service products to the wider community, marketing strategies that are applied by the small BPR Grazia so that it can continue to 'survive' and continue to develop into a large and solid bank. From the results of the research analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the marketing communication element where the outline consists of Executive Officers, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and direct and internet marketing has been carried out by BPR. Overall, BPR Grazia has implemented a good communication strategy to increase sales of its credit products in order to achieve the Bank's Business Plan (RBB) target which has been prepared and approved by the Financial Services Authorit.

Abstract

The study Improving Information Security with Machine Learning explores the fusion of machine learning methodologies within information security, aiming to fortify conventional protocols against evolving cyber threats. By conducting a comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis, this scholarly endeavor highlights the efficacy of machine learning in anomaly detection, threat identification, and predictive analytics within security frameworks. Through practical demonstrations, such as z-score-based anomaly detection in network traffic data and NLP-based email security systems, the study illustrates the practical applications of machine learning techniques. Additionally, it delves into the mathematical underpinnings of predictive analytics and the architecture of neural networks for malware detection. However, while showcasing the transformative potential of machine learning, the study also confronts significant challenges. Ethical, legal, and privacy considerations emerge prominently, emphasizing the need for regulations addressing algorithmic biases, ethical dilemmas, and data protection. Moreover, the study emphasizes the practical challenges of scalability, interpretability, continual adaptation to evolving threats, and the harmonious interaction between human expertise and machine intelligence. By offering practical recommendations and future research directions, this scholarly exploration aims to empower researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in navigating the complex intersection of machine learning and information security, thereby fostering innovation and comprehension in this evolving domain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether career development, income, and supervisor supervision have an influence on job satisfaction of BCA KCU MASJID LAMA bakti intern employees. The population in the study were all apprentice employees of BCA KCU MASJID LAMA, totaling 100 people. The sample method used in this study is the saturated sample method because of sampling all employees. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that career development and supervisor supervision have a significant effect on job satisfaction while income has no significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, compensation and work morale on the performance of Gojek drivers in the Palembang area. The research design used in this research uses an associative method. The analytical methods used are quantitative and qualitative methods. The variables used are 3 independent variables, namely motivation, work discipline and work environment and the dependent variable is employee performance. The research data sample used in the research was 100. The analytical tools used were the classical assumption model test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F test and t test. The research results show that simultaneously the variables of work environment, compensation and work morale influence the performance of Gojek drivers in the Palembang area. Partially, it shows that the work environment has an influence on the performance of Gojek drivers. Compensation affects the performance of Gojek drivers. Work enthusiasm influences the performance of Gojek drivers in the Palembang area.

Abstract

Customer segmentation is the customer grouping based on similar shopping behavior or patterns. Inappropriate customer segmentation can have negative impacts, such as lost marketing opportunities, resource inefficiencies, loss of potential customers, and decreased performance, and business profits, especially in customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to develop a customer segmentation model for digital marketing. This model is based on customer shopping patterns using the Recency-Frequency-Monetary (RFM) model and the Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM) method. The research data is historical customer purchase data consisting of 18,535 transactions and 541,909 transaction details from 4,339 customers for 3,665 product items over two years. The research variables focus on the model used: recency, frequency, and monetary. The five customer segments generating from this study are main, potential, general, minimum, and prospective customer. The internal validation results show that the minimum C-Index value is 0.1429 (close to zero), and the maximum Calinski-Harabasz Index value is 512.9553. It shows that the quality of customer segmentation results is good. In other words, the model can identify correlations between customer segments and shopping patterns and preferences. In this way, marketers can optimize services, adjust strategies, and offer the right products for each customer segment. Further research can be directed at product segmentation. Abstract

Distribution channel is an important factor in increasing production and sales in a company. Selection of the right distribution channel is the spearhead of a company's success. PT Pinago Utama Tbk is a company engaged in the oil palm and rubber plantations. In its production activities, PT Pinago Utama Tbk uses direct distribution channels. The purpose of this research is to overcome the distribution channel barriers at PT Pinago Utama Tbk in order to increase the company's production and sales and implement the solutions obtained to increase the company's production and sales. The research method used is a qualitative method through in-depth interviews (In-depth Interview). Data collection was carried out by interviewing company management and expert judgment. After that an analysis was made based on the results of the interviews conducted. Based on the results of interviews and SWOT analysis, it was found that the distribution channel has internal and external obstacles. Internal obstacles in the form of existing human resources, external obstacles come from third parties. Based on the analysis carried out, it is necessary to reshuffle the existing human resources at PT Pinago Utama Tbk and the need for communicative collaboration with third parties.

Abstract

Good air quality is something that is wanted by every human who lives in big cities. Clean air and no pollution is one of the proper environmental requirements. One of the most severe causes of air pollution is due to large-scale forest fires due to the long dry season or is carried out by irresponsible persons which they commonly refer to as land clearing in an easy and inexpensive way by utilizing the reason of the dry season. The purpose of this study is to classify air quality in Palembang using a data mining approach. Then use the results of the classification as an indicator of the level of air quality in the city of Palembang. The data mining approach that researchers use is the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Based on the test results of K-NN calculations and measured using a confusion matrix produce an accuracy of 80 percent, 82.3 percent for precision, and 93.3 percent for recall. The measurement results show that the calculation using the K-NN algorithm can be used as an indicator in measuring air quality, of the 20 that have been trained and tested only 4 inaccurate data, this inaccuracy occurs because the source data has unbalanced classes such as unhealthy and very unhealthy healthy have 1 sample each. So it proves that the performance of classifiers using the K-NN algorithm relevant as an indicator of air quality levels in the city of Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas distribusi dan menganalisis hambatan dalampencapaian efektivitas distribusi Semen Baturaja ke Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiankualilatif dengan menggunakan metode eksplanatory (explanatory research) serta melakukanpengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan menarik kesimpulan sebagai teknikanalisis data. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: informan kunci internal, informan kuncieksternal, informan ahli, dan informan insidentil.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa distribusi Semen Baturaja ke Pontianak sudah berjalan dengan lancarbelum mencapai efektivitas. Distributor yang handal akan mendukung lancarnya distribusi. Distributoryang handal memiliki faktor pendukung seperti jejaring mitra yang luas, kondisi keuangan yang baik, dangudang yang luas. Sehingga pencapaian tepat waktu, tepat biaya, dan tepat kualitas, serta terwujudnyaefektivitas distribusi. Dan diharapkan pengelolaan faktor tersebut dapat dioptimalkan dalam rangka mencapai efektivitas distribusi dalam perusahaan Semen Baturaja.

Abstract

UMKM memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia dengan kontribusi signifikan terhadap PDB dan penyediaan lapangan kerja. Desa Petanang di Kecamatan Lembak, Kabupaten Muara Enim, memiliki potensi besar dalam produksi singkong, terutama keripik singkong sebagai produk unggulan. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya inovasi produk, akses pasar terbatas, dan pengetahuan manajemen usaha yang minim menghambat daya saing produk ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan pelaku UMKM di Desa Petanang melalui pelatihan dan sosialisasi pengembangan inovasi produk keripik singkong dalam Program KKN Tematik MBKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan pelaku UMKM secara aktif dalam survei awal, pelatihan teknik produksi, pengemasan, dan strategi pemasaran, serta evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, terutama dalam produksi variasi rasa dan kemasan yang menarik. Sosialisasi pemasaran berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya branding dan pemasaran digital. Inovasi produk seperti pengembangan rasa baru meningkatkan minat konsumen dan daya saing di pasar. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi individu tetapi juga memperkuat kapasitas UMKM secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini memberikan model pemberdayaan UMKM yang dapat diadopsi oleh desa lain, serta menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi antara akademisi dan masyarakat dalam pengembangan UMKM.

Abstract

Desa Petanang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah, terutama dalam budidaya singkong, yang hingga saat ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di desa ini memerlukan pemberdayaan dan inovasi untuk mengolah potensi tersebut menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan UMKM melalui pengembangan produk olahan singkong, yaitu "Singkong Krenyes" dan "Keripik Daun Singkong." Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelatihan langsung, pendampingan dalam proses produksi, pengemasan, serta strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Selama program, para peserta mendapatkan keterampilan baru yang berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas produk dan pengetahuan tentang strategi pemasaran digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan pengolahan dan pemasaran produk oleh pelaku UMKM, yang berimbas pada peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Selain itu, produk-produk ini diharapkan menjadi ikon kuliner Desa Petanang, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan daya saing di pasar lokal, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekspansi ke pasar yang lebih luas. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan ekonomi desa melalui optimalisasi potensi lokal dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.
