Abstract

The ergonomic design of the cockpit is crucial for improving driver comfort and safety, particularly in prototype vehicles for energy efficiency competitions. This study evaluates the driver’s body posture using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) technique to propose design improvements that support better posture and reduce physical strain. The research methodology includes analyzing musculoskeletal risk levels through RULA, supported by the Human Activity Analysis tool in CATIA. The evaluation was conducted on the FT UNP prototype car in the Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE), revealing a RULA score of 6, indicating a high risk of musculoskeletal issues. The findings suggest the need for redesigning the cockpit to enhance posture, including adjustments to the seat tilt, steering wheel position, and pedals. These ergonomic improvements are expected to reduce driver fatigue, enhance performance, and minimize injury risks.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the quality and accessibility of learning materials in automotive engineering through digitalizing teaching materials based on Quick Response (QR) codes. The training covered introducing digitalization concepts, QR code creation, and their implementation in teaching materials through lectures, demonstrations, practice, and evaluation. The results of this activity indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding digital technology and its benefits in the learning process. Teacher's competence in developing technology-based teaching modules, including integrating QR codes and the potential of TTS AI-based videos, has significantly improved. The teachers demonstrated high enthusiasm for implementing the learned materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Special Service Tool (SST) pembuka pegas katup berbasis pneumatik yang memungkinkan penggantian seal katup tanpa perlu melepas kepala silinder dari mesin kendaraan, khususnya pada mesin mobil Avanza K3-Ve. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Special Service Tool (SST) pembuka pegas katup berbasis pneumatik untuk penggantian seal katup secara signifikan menurunkan waktu pengerjaan dari rata-rata 412 menit menggunakan metode konvensional menjadi 279 menit. Efisiensi waktu yang dicapai sebesar 32,28%. Dengan demikian, alat ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam proses perawatan mesin kendaraan. This research aims to develop a pneumatic-based valve spring opener Special Service Tool (SST) that allows valve seal replacement without the need to remove the cylinder head from the vehicle engine, especially on the Avanza K3-Ve car engine. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the DDD-E model (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). The results showed that the use of a pneumatic-based valve spring opener Special Service Tool (SST) for valve seal replacement significantly reduced the processing time from an average of 412 minutes using conventional methods to 279 minutes. The time efficiency achieved was 32.28%. Thus, this tool can increase efficiency and effectiveness in the vehicle engine maintenance process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan efektivitas sosialisasi K3 dan Kedisiplinan dalam praktek di SMK PGRI 2 Lahat. dalam tiga tahap yaitu pretest–sosialisai–posttest.penelitian ini, (1) mendeskripsikan K3 dalam pelaksaan praktek di  program keahlian teknik kendaraan ringan siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 2 Lahat sebelum menerapkan efektivitas  Sosialisasi K3, (2) mendeskripsikan K3 dalam pelaksaan praktek di  program keahlian teknik kendaraan ringan siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 2  Lahat setelah menerapkan efektivitas  Sosialisasi K3, (3) menjelaskan pengaruh efektivitas  Sosialisasi K3 siswa kelas X SMK PGRI 2 Lahat Pretest dan posttest. Metode penelitian deskriptif analisis. Hasil sosialisasi penelitian ini, Pertama sebelum/pretest, sosialisasi K3 berada pada kualifikasi Hampir cukup dengan rata-rata nilai 45,6172. Kedua, setelah/posttest berada pada kualifikasi Baik Sekali (BS) rata-rata 90,4891. Ketiga, uji-t hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima pada taraf signifikan 95% dan t-hitung(1,624 > 0,147).   This study applies the effectiveness of K3 socialization and Discipline in practice at SMK PGRI 2 Lahat. three stages pretest–socialization–posttest.  this study are, (1) to describe K3 in the implementation of practice in the light vehicle engineering expertise program of class X students of SMK PGRI 2 Lahat before implementing the effectiveness of K3 Socialization,(2) to describe K3 in the implementation practice in the vehicle engineering expertise program for students class X SMK PGRI 2 Lahat after implementing the effectiveness of K3 Socialization, (3) the effect of the effectiveness of K3 Socialization for students class X of SMK PGRI 2 Lahat Pretest and posttest. method descriptive analysis. Resultst this research socialization, First, before/pretest conducting K3 socialization are at the qualification Almost enough with an average score of 45.6172. Second, after/posttest is at an average 90.4891 Good (BS) qualifications. Third, the alternative hypothesis (H1) t-test is accepted at a significant level 95% and t-count (1.624 > 0.147).

Abstract

The high unemployment rate in Nagari Sialang Gaung, reaching 30–40% of the productive-age population, poses a serious problem hindering community welfare. This situation is paradoxical given the significant opportunities in the motor vehicle service sector, driven by an estimated 10% annual increase in the number of motorcycles. Unfortunately, this market potential remains largely untapped due to the lack of technical and entrepreneurial skills among the unemployed youth. The Prodi and Nagari Integration Program (PIPN) Life Skill was established to bridge this gap with a dual objective, enhancing motorcycle mechanic competence and fostering entrepreneurship through hands-on practice. The program was comprehensively designed, encompassing needs analysis, development of a curriculum based on local potential, technical training (covering both conventional and EFI injection systems), instruction in workshop management, and post-training business mentoring. Program results indicate a significant increase in participant competence, with 85% demonstrating the ability to perform repairs independently and 30% having successfully initiated small-scale repair businesses. This success underscores the critical importance of synergy between universities and village governance in empowering communities based on sustainable local potential, thereby contributing directly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

SMK memiliki peran dalam peningkatan kecerdasan, pengetahuan, kepribadian, akhlak mulia, dan keterampilan sebagai bekal untuk hidup mandiri dan siap kerja. Tamatan SMK diharapkan mempunyai kompetensi yang baik agar siap pakai dan terampil, sehingga memudahkan industri untuk medapatkan tenaga kerja sesuai posisi yang kebutuhan. Tetapi berdasarkan data BPS pada Agustus 2020, TPT SMK adalah 8,49% dan tertinggi dibandingkan jenjang pendidikan lainnya. Masalah ini terjadi karena belum selarasnya antara kompetensi tamatan SMK dengan kebutuhan industri. Penyelarasan kompetensi tamatan SMK terhadap kebutuhan industri tergantung pada sumber daya serta sarana/prasarana yang dimiliki SMK. Permasalahannya sarana/prasarana praktik yang dimiliki SMK masih sedikit dan kondisinya kurang memadai. Tamatan SMK Jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor seharusnya memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknologi programmed fuel injection sepeda motor. Maka kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa SMK melalui rancang bangun simulator dan pelatihan teknologi programmed fuel injection sepeda motor. Berdasarkan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, terdapat peningkatan kompetensi siswa tentang teknologi programmed fuel injection sepeda motor, sehingga diharapkan kualitas tamatan SMK Jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor semakin baik dan dapat menurunkan TPT tamatan SMK.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada pemuda putus sekolah tentang perawatan dan servis sepeda motor electronic fuel injection di Nagari Batu Basa Kecamatan Pariangan Kabupaten Tanah Datar sesuai dengan standard operational procedure. Untuk mendapatkan data awal dan akhir sebagai data pembanding, peneliti menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Metode yang diterapkan dalam proses kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan metode luring dan daring berupa ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, video demonstrasi dan aplikasi. kegiatan ini dikikuti sebanyak 10 peserta dan rata-rata seluruh peserta antusias dengan penuh disiplin untuk mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil yang sudah ditemukan setelah melalui pelatihan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemuda putus sekolah yang berkenaan dengan penguasaan perawatan dan servis sepeda motor electronic fuel injection dan diharapkan bisa diaplikasikan ke dunia kerja. Kegiatan pelatihan ini telah membuat masyarakat khususnya tuna karya merasa terbantu dengan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan secara gratis.

Abstract

Persaingan global dalam industri otomotif menuntut perusahaan untuk memberikan layanan yang unggul agar dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada bengkel PT. DIPO Internasional Pahala Otomotif Bukittinggi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan regresi linier sederhana, dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitas, serta diolah melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi kualitas layanan dengan tingkat capaian terendah adalah bukti fisik (86,7%), sementara penanganan keluhan menjadi dimensi dengan capaian tertinggi (88,5%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh kualitas layanan, khususnya efektivitas penanganan keluhan. Implikasi dari hasil ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kualitas layanan berbasis bukti fisik serta penguatan sistem pengelolaan keluhan untuk mempertahankan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. The increasing competition in the automotive industry requires companies to provide excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at PT. DIPO International Pahala Otomotif Bukittinggi. A quantitative approach was applied using simple linear regression, with a validated questionnaire as the research instrument, and the data were processed using SPSS. The results reveal that the lowest achievement dimension was physical evidence (86.7%), while the highest achievement was complaint handling (88.5%). These findings indicate that customer satisfaction is significantly influenced by service quality, particularly the effectiveness of complaint handling. The implication of this study highlights the need to improve physical service quality and strengthen complaint management systems to sustain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This article is the result of field research in three schools in Aceh Besar. This research consists of two related studies. The first focuses on answering the hypothesis about the effect of implementing a teaching factory on student work using the one-group pretest-posttest design method. Students will be given a pretest first to assess the results of their initial work. After that, they are given the teaching factory treatment and then a post-test for the results to be compared to assess whether the treatment has an effect. The second research the author wants to examine in this article is consumer satisfaction with the work. Using the survey method, the data obtained is calculated based on the satisfaction references percentage. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students to evaluate work results using the one-group pretest-posttest design method and 30 consumers to assess the level of consumer satisfaction with student work. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that there was a significant influence on student work results after treatment. The average post-test result increased to a pretest value of 18.66667 with sig. 0.000, which means significant. The result value of the t count is 37.405, greater than the t table of 2.045, which means that the application of teaching factory learning is very effective in improving student work results. Then for the consumer satisfaction results, it was obtained that 30% were very satisfied with the student work, and 70% were satisfied with the student work. With nine people feeling very satisfied and 21 people feeling satisfied, the average result is that consumers are satisfied with students’ work.

Abstract

Meskipun lebih fleksibel daripada K13, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMKN 1 Dua Koto menghadapi tantangan terutama dalam kesiapan guru dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan CIPP Evaluation Model untuk mengevaluasi dampak Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Evaluasi menunjukkan dampak positif, namun beberapa area perlu perbaikan, seperti penggunaan perangkat ajar, pelatihan guru, dan kurikulum operasional. Saran untuk meningkatkan program mencakup peningkatan penggunaan perangkat ajar, optimalisasi kurikulum operasional, perbaikan fasilitas dan sarana, pemahaman guru tentang konsep P5, pengembangan buku ajar relevan, dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Semua ini diharapkan membantu SMKN 1 Dua Koto mengatasi kendala dan terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Despite being more flexible than K13, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMKN 1 Dua Koto faces challenges, particularly in teacher readiness and student comprehension. This research utilizes the CIPP Evaluation Model to assess the impact of the Independent Curriculum on the enhancement of education quality in the school. The evaluation indicates a positive impact, but some areas require improvement, such as the use of teaching aids, teacher training, and operational curriculum. Suggestions to enhance the program include improving the use of teaching aids, optimizing operational curriculum, upgrading facilities and infrastructure, enhancing teachers' understanding of the P5 concept, developing relevant teaching materials, and improving students' critical thinking abilities. All of these are expected to help SMKN 1 Dua Koto overcome challenges and continue to enhance education quality.
