The recommended control refers to the control hierarchy, namely elimination, substitution, engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment. The conclusion of the test sampling job shows that the hazard identification stage of this work produces 26 potential hazards and has a risk level of low, moderate, high. The recommended risk control that has the most priority is the implementation of the OHS management system because the company is required to apply 64 basic criteria

Collecting data using questionnaires and observation sheets based on Permenakertrans No. 15 of 2008. The results showed that 21 workers (70%) did not know the implementation of First Aid in Kalimas Port. The requirements for the first aid officer at Kalimas Port have been in accordance with the regulations set by the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 15 of 2008 which is certified, physically and mentally healthy. The completeness of the first aid facilities, such as the appropriate room, of the 8 first aid boxes available, the contents of all the boxes did not meet the standards; the placement is not clearly visible, 6 of them are located in an inadequate room; 2 boxes are hard to reach; and there is no green first aid symbol yet. There is no means of transportation (ambulance) and shower in additional facilities. The application of First Aid at Kalimas Port was not appropriate, it was found that the box and contents of the First Aid were not in accordance with the standards and workers' knowledge of the application of First Aid was still lacking. Therefore, it is recommended for the company to carry out socialization to workers, improve maintenance and create a logbook for monitoring the first aid kit and contents, adding amap to find out the location of the first aid kit at the Kalimas port.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are disorders of the soft tissues (muscles, joints, ligaments, cartilage) and the nervous system of workers. The risk of MSDs can be found in work activities, one of which is the back office, where 80% of work activities are carried out in sitting, standing, squatting, and bending work postures for 1 working day (8 hours). The purpose of this study was to analyze work posture and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in back office workers. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using an observational approach. The population in this study amounted to 25 workers from both the Finance and Engineering departments at Hotel XY Yogyakarta. The sampling technique in this study is to use a total sampling technique. Collecting data in this study by taking samples of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints using a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire and for work postures using the Ovako Working Analysist System (OWAS) method. The results of the study were obtained from the percentage of 44% in the low category and the total percentage of 56% of the MSDs risk value in the moderate category with that the need to make efforts to control or improve work position or posture in the future and from the results of the assessment (Ovako Work Posture Analysis System) OWAS obtained activity work with uncomfortable work postures, so it is necessary to improve the work posture of workers. Conclusions from the results and discussion have complaints about the level of risk of Musculuskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and work postures. So the advice that can be given is the need to improve an ergonomic work position, stretch the muscles on the sidelines of working hours and take a short break during breaks

Abstract

Risk analysis of occupational accidents is a work activity in a company so that an effort is needed to analyze hazards and risks by using one of the existing methods, namely HIRARC to minimize the level of accident risk. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk of hazards in coal loading and unloading activities at PT Delta Artha Bahari Nusanatara using the HIRARC method. The type of research used is descriptive research with observational methods where the techniques used in data collection are natural settings (natural conditions), primary data sources, discussions with K3L and the Head of Operations at the company and data collection techniques are mostly on observations during activities and activities. documentation. Based on the results of the study, at the time of hazard identification, 7 activities and 22 work processes contained 11 different potential hazards including falling into the sea, exposure to hot sunlight, exposure to and inhalation of coal dust, being pinched by mooring ropes, being crushed by loading and unloading equipment, being scratched by loading and unloading equipment. , hit by a dump truck vehicle, crushed by loading and unloading equipment, hit by a rampdoor tool, crushed by a sesek/bamboo board tool, flammable and combustible fuel. Then carry out a risk assessment, namely the results show that of the 11 potential hazards there are 5 low risk, 4 moderate risk, 1 high risk and 1 very high risk, therefore it is necessary to make recommendations for the control needed to reduce the level of risk to a lower level in order to minimize work accidents for reduce the risk of work accidents. Suggestions from company researchers must implement control recommendations, namely the addition of sophisticated trucks cleaning the dock area, Personal Protective Equipment (safety helmets, masks, vests, catelpaks, gloves, sunglasses, and safety shoes), Administrative Approach (Fit to work, MSDS Pertamina dex (Hydrocarbons and Additives) promotion of Occupational Safety and Health (K3)), and Engineering Control (pedestrian paths or pedestrian areas, refueling in a safe place, preparing for disasters (Emergency response plan))

Abstract

Poor work posture and a low level of work skills can result in injury to the work hazard of Musculosceletal Disorders (MSDs). Work postures that are not ergonomic are at risk for experiencing complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders (MSDs). One of the workers who are at risk for experiencing Musculosceletal Disorders complaints are workers who still carry out manual lifting and transporting jobs, such as the wholesale varnish workers at PT. SPINDO Tbk, Unit II. The purpose of this study was to describe work postures with complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders in lacquer wholesale workers at PT. SPINDO Tbk, Unit II. This research method is quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples is the same as the population, which is 9 people taken using the total population. Data collection consists of primary data such as the number of workers, age, length of service, years of service, education level obtained from the company. Primary data such as work posture using the REBA assessment sheet while complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders using the Nordic Body Map assessment sheet. The results of this study indicate that most of the lacquer wholesalers work with a working posture with a moderate risk category of 66.6%, so that the complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders felt by workers in the slightly sick category are 28.5% of the right upper arm. Therefore, it is recommended for companies to provide education to workers regarding ergonomic risk control techniques in terms of work attitudes to reduce complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders while workers should stretch before starting work.
