Abstract

The concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 has been applied by several tourist destinations in the world to attract tourist visits. The indicators used are technology change, political legal change, economic change, socio-culture change and Market change. The number of tourist attractions popping up in Yogyakarta encourage managers to set the right strategies and plans so that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is increasingly in demand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 on the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard, in order to attract tourist visits. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach combined with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0 analysis. Data collection in this study used in-depth interviews, observation, documentary methods, visual material methods, and literature study. The subjects of this study were several people who came from the Department of Agriculture, Food, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Department of Tourism, Managers in the field, as well as several tourists who visited the Tourist attraction of Mangunan Orchard. The stage of data processing and analysis in this study use an interactive analysis model, including data transcription, data reduction, data coding and categorization, as well as drawing conclusions.Based on research that has been done, the results obtained that the tourist attraction of the Mangunan Orchard is not in accordance with the concept of Tourism Marketing 3.0. This is because the attributes used: technology change, political legal change, economic change, socio-culture change and Market change have not been fully applied. With these results, the right strategies and programs are needed in applying the concept to attract tourist visits.

Abstract

Yogyakarta sebagai daerah wisata memberikan ruang bagi bisnis kreatif, seperti: transportasi, akomodasi, kerajinan hingga usaha kreatif. Kemampuan bisnis berbasis nilai sejarah memberikan pengalaman emosional menjadi kunci membangun nilai spesifik. Namun demikian, banyak bisnis yang mengalami kesulitan pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa konsep bisnis berbasis pengalaman dan nilai sejarah yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengisi celah penelitian pengelolaan bisnis berbasis pengalaman dan nilai sejarah. Studi kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dipadukan dengan pendekatan studi kasus. WestPash Coffee menjadi objek penelitian karena lokasi bisnis yang berada di kawasan budaya dan bersejarah serta mengusung tema klasik. Wawancara dengan pengelola dan pengunjung menjadi upaya pengumpulan data. Analisa data dan validasi menggunakan teknik Miles Huberman serta Triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika pengelolaan bisnis tidak hanya menawarkan produk inti berupa menu yang disajikan. Bisnis juga memberikan kenyamanan selama pengunjung berada di lokasi. Pengalaman pengunjung selama menikmati produk mampu menambah kesan positif. Keberadaan tema klasik dan nilai sejarah dapat menjadi produk pelengkap. Esensi bisnis tidak lagi mengandalkan produk utama dan berorientasi keuntungan semata, namun berbagai potensi dapat ditawarkan. Penelitian berikutnya dapat menjadikan area promosi bisnis berbasis tema klasik sebagai tema lanjutan.Kata kunci: Bisnis, Keberlanjutan, Klasik, Pengalaman, Sejarah

Abstract

Peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat serta pemberdayaan potensi wilayah, menjadi dampak perkembangan pariwisata. Beberapa peluang bisnis muncul seperti: akomodasi, biro perjalanan, kerajinan, transportasi, hingga merangsang munculnya pelaku UMKM. Berbagai saluran serta teknologi mendorong munculnya situasi kompetitif. Berbagai kemudahan diberikan seperti layanan cash less. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuka selubung implementasi pembayaran berbasis digital pelaku UMKM. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam studi ini. Sebanyak 97 pelaku usaha dipilih berdasarkan tabel krejcie. Penentuan sampel diperkuat dengan persyaratan yang digunakan antara lain: 1) berskala mikro dan kecil, 2) memiliki portal transaksi digital, dan 3) memiliki legalitas usaha. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner serta wawancara. Data dianalisa menggunakan metode Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) dan teknik triangulasi sebagai validasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika responden memiliki presepsi positif terhadap penggunaan transaksi digital. Beberapa instrumen digunakan dalam riset ini antara lain: manfaat penggunaan, kemudahan penggunaan serta resiko penggunaan. Nilai manfaat serta kemudahan penggunaan dijadikan panduan dalam meningkatkan jumlah transaksi. Disisi lain, pelaku usaha perlu mempertimbangkan munculnya berbagai resiko melalui peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan. Hasil ini diharapkan mampu menjadi literasi bagi pelaku UMKM dalam memperkuat pengelolaan bisnis. Penelitian berikutnya dapat berfokus pada pengaruh pembayaran digital dalam merangsang jumlah transaksi.Kata kunci: Berkelanjutan, Bisnis, Teknologi, Transaksi, UMKM

Abstract

Tourism development has a positive impact on the growth of its supporting industries. As a tourism supporter, hotels play a significant role in supporting tourists. Appropriate hotel management strategies must be implemented, reflecting the concept of green business. One effort is to consider the measurable amount of food consumption and production. Hotel managers do not fully implement the various opportunities the green business concept presents. Several obstacles arise, such as a lack of knowledge, innovation in food production management, and the ability to reduce food waste. This study investigates hotel management in producing food and reducing food waste to create a sustainable green business. A qualitative method using an interpretive approach was used in this study. Several hotels were selected as research objects, including: Hotel Cakra Kembang (best reviewed hotel), Greenhost Boutique Hotel (eco-green concept), and @HOM Premiere Hotel (best traveler's choice). These hotels have received various awards related to the green concept. The Miles Huberman method and triangulation were chosen as data analysis and validation techniques. The study results indicate that business managers must encourage food production savings without compromising service quality. Attention needs to be strengthened with management's ability to manage raw material stock, communicate with suppliers, develop business models, serve food, and predict guest attendance.

Abstract

Competitive hotel business management emerges amidst the development of digital technology. Referring to a study by the Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development, businesses need to maximize the role of technology in creating sustainability. However, the facts show that many hotel business managers have not fully adopted technology. Several obstacles arise, including limited budget, human resource skills, and limited literacy in technology adoption. Furthermore, managers have difficulty generating creative content ideas and lack understanding of how to evaluate digital-based strategies. This study aims to investigate the digital content management of popular and high-achieving hotels in creating excellence and sustainability. Qualitative methods were used through an interpretive perspective. Several popular hotels in the Yogyakarta tourist area were selected as research objects. These hotels include: @HOM Premiere Hotel (CHSE & INDOCARE Certified), Greenhost Boutique Hotel (green promotion), and Hotel Cakra Kembang (traveler reviews). Research data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The selected informants were parties with authority, experience, and information related to the research theme. Interpretive phenomenology analysis (IPA) and triangulation techniques were chosen for data analysis and validation. The research results show that hotels need to maximize: human resource competency, appropriate use of digital platforms, creativity of content themes, intensity of publication content, internal collaboration, and communication with target markets to create sustainable and competitive management.

Abstract

Implementing digital marketing has various positive impacts on business development, including the tourism sector. Some benefits arise from this implementation, including expanding the market, ease of access to information, increased literacy, and understanding market needs. However, tourism managers have not fully implemented these opportunities. Several problems arise, such as minimal technology education, limited technological tools, and financial issues. Gembira Loka Zoo is a tourism sector that has been able to adopt the use of technology for marketing activities. This study aims to determine the application of technology in marketing activities to create sustainable management. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method through an interpretive paradigm. Data collection uses interviews combined with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. Several informants come from management and visitors to uncover their experiences. The Miles Huberman method and triangulation strengthen the data analysis and validation. The study results indicate that Gembira Loka Zoo implements digital marketing comprehensively based on the Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) concept. Management has utilized various popular digital marketing platforms, utilizes modern technological tools, has creative ideas, and can provide information to attract the market. The results of this study can be used as a reference in implementing digital marketing to create sustainable management. Penerapan digital marketing memberikan berbagai dampak positif bagi perkembangan bisnis termasuk sektor pariwisata. Beberapa manfaat hadir dari penerapan tersebut, antara lain: memperluas pasar, kemudahan akses informasi, peningkatan literasi, hingga mengetahui kebutuhan pasar. Namun demikian, peluang tersebut tidak sepenuhnya mampu diterapkan oleh pengelola pariwisata. Beberapa permasalahan muncul seperti: minimnya edukasi teknologi, keterbatasan alat teknologi, hingga masalah finansial. Gembira Loka Zoo menjadi sektor pariwisata yang mampu mengadopsi penggunaan teknologi untuk aktivitas pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan teknologi dalam aktivitas pemasaran sebagai upaya menciptakan pengelolaan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui paradigma interpretive. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara yang dikombinasikan dengan teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Beberapa informan berasal dari unsur pengelola dan pengunjung sebagai upaya mengungkap pengelaman yang mereka miliki. Sebagai upaya memperkuat analisa serta validasi data menggunakan metode Miles Huberman dan Triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, Gembira loka Zoo menerapkan digital marketing secara menyeluruh berdasarkan konsep Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Pengelolaan telah menggunakan berbagai platform digital marketing populer, menggunakan alat teknologi modern, memiliki ide kreatif, serta mampu memberikan informasi untuk menarik pasar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam penerapan digital marketing sebagai upaya menciptakan pengelolaan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Referring to the concept of sustainability, business and tourism can be developed in line with various opportunities. The experience and uniqueness of tourism-based businesses are an added value. However, the facts show that historical tourism-based businesses have not developed much. Managers have not maximized the potential of the surrounding historical value. On the other hand, businesses based on historical nuances are considered disruptive to tourism activities, leading to concerns about damaging historical values. This study aims to investigate the management of businesses based on classical themes and historical nuances in creating sustainability. Qualitative methods were used from an interpretive perspective. Several businesses based on historical nuances and classical themes were selected as research objects, including: Cokelat Monggo (traditional-premium product), Prianti Gagarin (Classic Place), and Ndalem Natan (edu-culture business). These businesses can create sustainability through classical themes and historical nuances. The study results indicate that business managers must think intelligently when developing their businesses. Several sustainability efforts need to be implemented, such as: 1) collaboration and optimization of classical themes, 2) education and consumer experience, 3) emotional closeness, and 4) community empowerment. Abstract

Pariwisata berbasis masyarakat menjadi pendekatan strategis dalam pengembangan desa wisata berkelanjutan, terutama melalui penguatan kolaborasi antarpemangku kepentingan dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat Desa Wisata Tegal Loegood dalam mengelola daya tarik wisata, memperkuat kolaborasi multipihak, serta mengoptimalkan strategi promosi berbasis digital yang lebih efektif dan berdaya jangkau luas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pendampingan intensif, praktik langsung pemanfaatan media digital, serta evaluasi partisipatif yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman masyarakat terkait kolaborasi pengelolaan pariwisata dari 40% menjadi 85%, pengelolaan daya tarik wisata dari 45% menjadi 70%, serta literasi digital dari 35% menjadi 80%, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pemahaman mencapai 78%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif yang mengintegrasikan kolaborasi dan teknologi digital efektif dalam mendorong kemandirian masyarakat, meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan destinasi, memperluas jangkauan promosi, serta mendukung keberlanjutan desa wisata secara jangka panjang.

Abstract

Defect detection in Arabica coffee beans is a critical aspect of quality control, particularly for export-oriented commodities that require consistent visual standards and uniform quality across production batches. Black and partial-black defects are known to significantly affect market value, quality perception, and sensory characteristics. Meanwhile, manual inspection processes remain vulnerable to evaluator subjectivity and inter-operator inconsistency.This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis between a Modified VGG16 architecture and Slim-CNN for detecting these two defect categories using a deep learning-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) approach. The dataset consists of 4,080 high-resolution images of Arabica green coffee beans captured using a 24.2 MP macro camera under controlled lighting conditions to minimize shadows and visual distortion. To preserve the natural characteristics of the defects, minimal data augmentation was applied using cropping and 15-degree rotation techniques. The Modified VGG16 architecture was simplified by reducing the complexity of the fully connected layers, integrating batch normalization, and applying dropout to enhance training stability and computational efficiency. Slim-CNN was employed as a lightweight comparative model with fewer parameters and lower memory requirements, making it suitable for resource-constrained deployment scenarios. Four training schemes were evaluated using variations in learning rate and epoch number to assess configuration impacts on performance. Experimental results show that Modified VGG16 achieved the highest test accuracy of 86.7% at a learning rate of 0.001 with 3 epochs, demonstrating a strong balance between training and validation accuracy. Slim-CNN exhibited shorter training time and lower computational complexity, although with slightly lower classification accuracy compared to Modified VGG16. These findings highlight a trade-off between classification performance and computational efficiency in selecting CNN architectures for coffee bean defect detection. Although the results demonstrate potential for industrial automatic classification systems, further validation using larger datasets and more comprehensive evaluation schemes is required to improve model generalization. This study contributes to the development of a more measurable, adaptive, and efficient deep learning-based coffee quality inspection system to support agro-export industry requirements.
