Abstract

Abstrak: Jamur merupakan organisme yang memiliki sebaran luas dengan rentang ekologi beragam. Keragaman dan potensi jamur liar yang tumbuh di sekitar pemukiman penduduk jarang dilaporkan sebelumnya di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menambah koleksi informasi keragaman jamur liar di tempat-tempat yang bersinggungan dengan kegiatan antropogenik. Eksplorasi jamur dilakukan dengan opportunistic sampling method. Identifikasi jamur dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa kunci identifikasi. Sejumlah 10 jamur berhasil diidentifikasi dan dideskripsikan pada penelitian ini. Seluruh jamur tersebut merupakan bagian dari filum Basidiomycota yang terbagi ke dalam 5 ordo dan 8 famili. Jamur-jamur tersebut adalah: Leucoagaricus sp., Marasmiellus sp., Coprinellus sp., Psathyrell asp., Schizophyllum sp., Auricularia sp., Phallusi ndusiatus, Phallus cf. multicolor, Pycnoporus cf. sanguineus, dan Dacryopinax spathularia. Beberapa jamur diketahui memiliki potensi sebagai bahan pangan, obat, dan pewarna alami.Kata kunci : Jamur, Ragam, Potensi, Pemukiman, Indonesia Abstract: Fungi are knownto have bothbroad distribution and ecological range. The diversity of wild mushrooms which distributed around the residence area are rarely been reported previously in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to increase the collection data of the diversity of wild macrofungi in places that intersect with the anthropogenic activities. Observations were conducted usingopportunistic sampling method. The identification of mushrooms was carried out using several identification keys. A total of 10 mushrooms were identified and described in this study. All these fungi are members of the phylum of Basidiomycota which is divided into 5 orders and 8 families. These fungi are: Leucoagaricus sp., Marasmiellus sp., Coprinellus sp., Psathyrella sp., Schizophyllum sp., Auricularia sp., Phallus indusiatus, Phallus cf. multicolor, Pycnoporus cf. sanguineus, and Dacryopinaxspathularia. Abstract

Endophytic fungi occupied healthy plant tissues without destroying or producing substances which lead an infection to the host cell.Studies on endophytic fungi and its utilization have gained significance during therecent years in Indonesia. However, information provide in the term of institutional area are limited, and campus building is no exception. the goal of this study was to isolate endophytic fungi from some Angiosperms around IPB University Campus Building (IPBUCB) and testing their potential utilization as biocontrol of some plant pathogenic fungi. A total of 9 isolates of endophytic fungi obtained from this study. All isolates shown unique characteristics on PDA medium. Most of isolates have inhibition activity againtsplant pathogenic fungi. ARIV1 and ARIV2 were performed the highest (%) of inhibition of Phythopthoracapsiciwhile BWIV1 in Fusarium oxisporumf. sp. cubense. This research is an early step to reveal the potential of endophytic fungi around campus building in the foreseeable future.

Abstract

Abstract : Mushroom are functional food which has been consumed for long time due to the various benefits and are rich in nutrients for health. Even though it is not the main food ingredient, local people in Indonesia are accustomed to consuming wild mushroom in the vicinity. One of these mushroom is Scleroderma spp. which grows as ectomycorrhizal mycobiont usually around the Gnetum gnemon L. plant. This study aimed to provide the information regarding poisioning case of Scleroderma in Indonesia and also it’s potential utilization. This paper is a literature-based quantitative research. Several previous studies have confirmed the benefits of this mushroom such as antioxidant, antibacteria, and anti-inflammatory which is beneficial for health. However, the result showed that during the last 10 years, there have been 6 cases of poisoning due to consumption of Scleroderma in Indonesia. A total of 54 people have become victims and 4 of them have died. Scleroderma spp. known to be easily found in various places throughout Indonesia. This mushroom is generally recommended to be consumed only in the young fruiting body phase. Some cases of poisoning are thought to be due to the sclerocitrin content in the fruiting body of this mushroom.Abstrak : Jamur merupakan salah satu bahan pangan yang telah sejak lama dikonsumsi karena memiliki berbagai manfaat dan kaya akan kandungan bahan bioaktif untuk kesehatan. Walaupun belum menjadi bahan pangan utama, masyarakat lokal di Indonesia telah terbiasa untuk mengkonsumsi jamur liar yang ada di sekitarnya. Salah satu dari jamur tersebut adalah Scleroderma spp. yang tumbuh sebagai mikobion pembentuk ektomikoriza umumnya di sekitaran tanaman melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi mengenai kasus keracunan Scleroderma di Indonesia serta potensi pemanfaatannya. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif berbasis literatur. Meskipun  beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah mengkonfirmasi manfaat dari jamur ini seperti: antioksidan, antibakteri, dan antiinflamasi yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan. Selama 10 tahun terakhir, telah terjadi 6 kasus keracunan akibat pengkonsumsian jamur liar Scleroderma di Indonesia. Sebanyak 54 orang telah menjadi korban dan 4 diantaranya meninggal dunia. Scleroderma spp. diketahui mudah ditemukan di berbagai tempat di seluruh Indonesia. Jamur ini umumnya disarankan hanya dikonsumsi pada fase tubuh buah yang masih muda. Beberapa kasus keracunan diduga juga karena kandungan sclerocitrin yang terdapat pada tubuh buah dari jamur ini.

Abstract

Abstract : Macrofungi or mushroom are cosmopolitan heterotrophic organisms which have a very important ecological role. Information on the presence and description of macrofungi can be used as a reference for conservation steps and future potential utilization. The purpose of this study was to provide  description of macro fungi and their potential utilization at Belitong Island. All macro fungi found were Basidiomycota. The identification results showd there were 11 species of mushrooms, i.e. Chlorophyllum molybdites, Lepiota sp., Marasmius sp., Parasola sp., Phallus indusiatus, Lentinus sp.1, Lentinus sp.2, Microporus sp., Polyporus cf. tricholoma, Russula sp., dan Schizophyllum commune. All mushrooms are decomposer at the study site. Some mushrooms have potential as food, medicine and source of other bioactive compounds. This paper explains how to use macroscopic characters to help the identification of macrofungi.Abstrak : Jamur makro merupakan organisme heterotof kosmopolitan yang memiliki peran ekologis yang sangat penting. Informasi mengenai keberadaan dan deskripsi jamur makro dapat dijadikan acuan untuk langkah konservasi serta pemanfaatan potensinya di masa mendatang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyediakan deskripsi jamur makro dan potensi pemanfaatannya di Pulau Belitong. Seluruh jamur makro yang ditemukan merupakan Filum Basidiomycota. Hasil identifikasi menunjukan terdapat 11 spesies jamur yaitu Chlorophyllum molybdites, Lepiota sp., Marasmius sp., Parasola sp., Phallus indusiatus, Lentinus sp.1, Lentinus sp.2, Microporus sp., Polyporus cf. tricholoma, Russula sp., dan Schizophyllum commune. Seluruh jamur merupakan dekomposer pada lokasi penelitian. Beberapa jamur berpotensi sebagai bahan pangan, obat, dan sumber senyawa bioaktif lainnya. Pada tulisan ini dijelaskan cara menggunakan karakter makroskopik untuk membantu identifikasi jamur.

Abstract

Abstract: Calvatia has the unique form as puffball mushroom. Currently, it is classified in Basidiomycota and Lycoperdaceae. This research aimed to characterize the Calvatia species based on morphological data. Fruiting body of Calvatia was found on the grass with single colony as saprobic mushroom. Fruiting body of Calvatia was collected, observed, and preserved using Formalin Acetic Alcohol (FAA).T he spores are produced internally in a gasterothecium. It is looked like pear-shaped or puffball-shaped, yellow to brownish outside and inside, the granular outer surface, thin layer of exoperidium, and soft texture of fruiting body. Basidiospore is finely globose to ovoid and free of ornament. The capillitium was swollen and septate. The specimen is identified as Calvatia pyriformis.Abstrak:Calvatia memiliki bentuk unik sebagai jamurbola. Saatini, Calvatia di klasifikasikan ke dalam Basidiomycota dan Lycoperdaceae. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi spesies Calvatia berdasarkan data morfologi. Tubuh buah Calvatia tumbuh di rumput secara soliter sebagai jamur sparob. Tubuh buah jamur dikoleksi, diobservasi, dan dipreservasi dengan menggunakan Formalin Acetic Alcohol (FAA). Spora-spora diproduksi secara internal di dalam sebuah gasterothecium. Spesimen ini berbentuk seperti pir atau bola permukaan dan bagian dalamnya berwarna kuning kecoklatan, terdapat alur granular pada permukaannya, lapisan exoperidium tipis, dan teksturnya lembut. Basidiospora berbentuk globose sampai seperti ovoid dan tidak ada ornamentasi. Hifa kapillituim berbentuk membengkak dan ada sekat. Spesimen ini diidentifikasi sebagai Calvatia pyriformis.

Abstract

Macroscopic fungi is cosmopolitan-heterotrophic organisms which have an important ecological role in ecocystem. The aim of this study was to explore the diversity of species and the potency of Fungi in the Campus Forest of IPB Unversity. Observation was carried out in March to April 2019 using exploration method. Identification used morphological characteristic such as fruit body shape, hygrophnous, cap color, diameter, edge, and margin, wetness level, himenophore type. Result showed that 11 species of macroscopic fungi were identified, divided into 7 families, 4 order, and 1 class. The Group fungi were identified as Termitomyces sp. 1, Termitomyces sp. 2, Marasmius sp. 1, Marasmius sp. 2, Psathyrella sp., Geastrum sp., Stereum sp., Microporus sp., Polyporus sp., Ganoderma sp. 1 and Ganoderma sp. 2. All identified fungi were Basidiomycota. Some fungi found to be potentially used as food source, medicine, and also played an important role as a decomposer in the IPB university campus forest.

Abstract

Wild mushrooms are one of the agricultural commodities used as food by Indonesian. However, the risk of poisoning can occur due to the morphology which often similar between edible and poisonous mushrooms. One family consumed wild mushroom which found around their residential area in Surabaya. The macrofungi grew on the grass near the ‘sengon’ trees around it. A few hours later, all of them experienced vomiting and diarrhea. The entire family rushly evacuated to the nearest hospital and received treatment. The blood tests and computed tomography (ct) scan of the abdomen showed no serious effect in all victims. The mushroom which caused poisoning then documented completely. The identification results using several macroscopic characters confirmed the macrofungi as Chlorophyllum cf. molybdites. This mushroom is known as in the category of V poisonous mushrooms which cause irritation of the digestive tract. This report indicates the need for a better understanding of the wild mushrooms identification for consumption. This is one of the approach to prevent wild mushroom poisoning in Indonesia.

Abstract

Podostroma cf. cornu-damae di Indonesia pertama kali dilaporkan oleh Boedijn pada tahun 1934 di Buitenzorg (Bogor), Jawa Barat. Sejak saat itu, tidak ditemukan adanya laporan kembali mengenai jamur tersebut di Indonesia. Pada tahun 2020, beberapa masyarakat lokal yang tergabung dalam komunitas pemburu jamur Indonesia membagikan informasi mengenai keberadaan jamur tersebut dari hutan Tamiang Layang (Kalimantan Tengah) dan Sukabumi (Jawa Barat). Identifikasi morfologi yang disertai deskripsi dan karakterisasi makroskopis mengkonfirmasi identitas jamur tersebut sebagai Podostroma cf. cornu-damae dan Podostroma sp. Observasi karakter mikroskopis atau pendekatan molekuler perlu dilakukan untuk memastikan hal tersebut pada penelitian selanjutnya. Informasi ini menambah data inventarisasi kekayaan ragam jamur di Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractMacrofungi are the organism which often overlooked in the recording effort of biodiversity in Indonesia. Until nowdays, the data on mushroom diversity in Indonesia is still limited. In fact, they have various benefits and are easily found in various ecological niches in Indonesia. However, the forest ecosystem around urban residential areas is a place that rarely records the mushroom diversity and its potential uses. This study aimed to provide preliminary information regarding some macrofungi's diversity and potential use in the urban forest, Gunungpati Subdistrict, Semarang City, Central Java. A total of ten fungi were identified and described in this study. All these fungi are part of the phylum of Basidiomycota, which is divided into six orders and nine families. They are: Auricularia cf. nigricans, Tremella cf. fuciformis, Gymnopus sp., Coprinellus sect. domestici, Macrocybe sp., Lycoperdon cf. curtisii, Ganoderma sp., Lentinus cf. sajor-caju, Mutinus cf. elegans, and Geastrum sp. Some mushrooms are known to have potential as food (Auricularia cf. nigricans, Coprinellus sect. Domestici, Macrocybe sp., Lycoperdon cf. curtisii, and Lentinus cf. sajor-caju) and medicine (Auricularia cf. nigricans, Ganoderma sp. and Tremella cf. fuciformis). Hingga saat ini, data mengenai diversitas jamur di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Padahal, organisme ini memilki berbagai manfaat dan mudah ditemukan pada berbagai relung ekologi di Indonesia. Kawasan hutan di sekitar pemukiman perkotaan merupakan tempat yang jarang memiliki catatan keragaman dan potensi pemanfaatan jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi awal mengenai keragaman jamur di di Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Sebanyak10 jamur berhasil diidentifikasi dan dipertelakan pada penelitian ini. Seluruh jamur tersebut merupakan bagian dari filum Basidiomycota yang terbagi ke dalam 6 ordo dan 9 famili. Jamur-jamur tersebut adalah: Auricularia cf. nigricans, Tremella cf. fuciformis, Gymnopus sp., Coprinellus sect. Abstract

Background: Penelitian jamur makro dilaksanakan di hutan Desa Kelubi, Pulau Belitong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyediakan informasi mengenai keberadaan jamur-jamur makro di Pulau Belitong dan studi mengenai potensi pemanfaatannya di masa mendatang. Metode: Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahap penelitian yaitu observasi, identifikasi, dan studi literatur potensi jamur makro yang berhasil dideskripsikan. Hasil: Sebanyak 12 jamur makro berhasil diidentifikasi dan dideskripsikan pada penelitian ini. Jamur tersebut terbagi ke dalam 6 ordo dan 12 famili. Seluruh jamur termasuk kedalam dua filum, Basidiomycota dan Ascomycota yakni : Cyathus sp., Bolbitius sp., Cortinarius sp.1, Cortinarius sp.2, Entoloma sp., Cyptotrama sp., Collybia sp., Auricularia sp., Gastroboletus sp., Craterellus sp., Lentinus sp., dan Daldinia sp. Jamur yang ditemukan diketahui memiliki potensi bahan pangan, obat, mikobion pembentuk mikoriza, dan juga berperan penting sebagai dekomposer di ekosistem. Kesimpulan: Pulau Belitong memiliki kekayaan jenis jamur yang unik dan belum pernah di deskripsikan dalam bentuk laporan ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan pada berbagai wilayah guna mengetahui keragaman dan potensi pemanfaaatan jamur yang ada.
