Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengelaborasi landasan teori dan strategi keluarga dan guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas. Selanjutnya, dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library reseach), sebagai acuan strategi keluarga dan guru BK dalam meningkatkan career aspiration sehingga siswa berkembang secara optimal menuju generasi berkualitas. Metode pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis isi. Untuk menjaga ketepatan pengkajian dan mencegah kesalahan informasi dalam analisis data maka dilakukan pengecekan antar pustaka dan membaca ulang pustaka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas teori career aspiration. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memformulasi landasan teori dan pelaksanaan manajemen bimbingan konseling meliputi: 1) pengertian career aspiration, 2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi career aspiration 3) strategi keluarga dalam meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas, 4) strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas

Abstract

Based on the findings in the field, there are still many students who after graduating from school are confused about finding work and are not comfortable with their work, so that individuals often quit their jobs because they are not comfortable and are not satisfied with their work. The method used in analyzing the problem is a literature study obtained from books, articles, and scientific journals that are relevant to the problems being analyzed. From this analysis, it was found that Super life span theory is a theory that explores career development throughout the life span, which in this theory explains that individuals are said to be mature or ready to make career decisions if their knowledge to make career decisions is supported by adequate information about work based on explorations. have been done. So it is very necessary to be understood by guidance and counseling teachers in order to support the understanding and career development of students. This theory can be applied in services by guidance and counseling teachers in schools which are designed based on the needs of students who are the target of services that can support the achievement of direction, determination and career development of students in the future.

Abstract

One of the goals providing education in junior high schools is to prepare graduates to continue their studies, namely whether the education level is high school (SMA) or other equivalent level. In this case, students often experience difficulties because they are faced with various choices, whether to continue their studies to the SMA or SMK level, or students prefer to attend training to directly enter the world of work, and students even choose not to continue their studies. This article discusses the analysis of the urgency of career guidance and counseling in junior high schools. The research method used is library analysis (library research). This article describes the analysis of scientific journals that are relevant to the selected discussion. The materials discussed in this article are 1) Definition of Career Guidance and Counseling, 2) Characteristics of Middle School Career Development, 3) Goals of Career Counseling at Junior High School Level, 4) Career Counseling Techniques/Activities. From this analysis, it can be can be explained guidance and counseling is one of the services that is needed by students who are in junior high school. Abstract

The career aspirations level is one heavily influenced by various factors, such as sex, major of study and placeof residence. Of course, associated with the service of career guidance, need to be obtained a clear picture of conditions career aspirations of students with a variety of factors that can be influenced. This research uses a quantitative approach to type descriptive comparative. The research methods applied in the study was ex post facto with a sampling of data retrieval, research design using factorial design 2 x 2 x 2. Data analysis results showed that:The level of studentscareer aspirations in terms of sex, major ofstudyand placeof residenceare in high category. There are difference’s between the levels of student career aspiration in terms of sex, major ofstudy and place ofresidence.In general, there is no interaction between the variables gender, major ofstudy and place of residence in determining the level of students career aspirations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya kinerja dosen penasehat akademik  yang diketahui berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan  dengan mahasiswa jurusan TV dan FILM ISI Padangpanjang. Kinerja dosen penasehat akademik adalah sesuatu yang telah dicapai oleh dosen penasehat akademik yang diukur melalui persepsi mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepadanya berdasarkan kompetensi yang dimilikinya.  Jenis penelitian adalah korelasional deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat  populasi sebesar  135,  teknik pengambilan sampel  teknik Simple Random Sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel 100. Pengumpulan data dengan skala likert, dan analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dosen PA berkategori rendah  dan masalah akademik mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang, , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara kinerja dosen PA dengan masalah akademik mahasiswa. Tingkat korelasi antara kinerja dosen PA dengan masalah akademik mahasiswa sangat rendah atau tidak terlalu signifikan bahkan bisa dikatakan hampir tidakberkorelasi sama sekali.

Abstract

This study is setting of issues about how the perception of task and work motivation influencing much on the performance of BK teacher/counselor at Junior High Schools in Kupang city. The goal is to describe the influence of perception on task and work motivation of BK teacher/counselor in the performance of duties in the school. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study showed that the perception of task and work motivation of BK teacher/counselor give a very significant influence on the performance of BK teachers/counselor in execution of duty.

Abstract

The occurrence of consumptive behavior among adolescents is caused by several internal factors such as self-control, talents, interests, values, self-concepts and knowledge and learning outcomes. External factors such as social class, family, culture, peers, and situations. Psychological factors such as information processing and learning.This study aims to describe the contribution of self-control and peer conformity to the consumptive behavior of students in Kisaran Private IT High Schools. The research method uses a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational type and multiple regression. The population of this study was 57 high school IT private high school students in class X and the sample of 50 students were selected using proportional random sampling. The research findings show that: (1) on average, self-control is in the very high category, (2) peer conformity is also in the very high category, (3) consumer consumptive behavior is categorized very well, (4) there are 51% contribution of self-control to consumptive behavior, (5) there are 34% contribution of peer conformity to consumptive behavior, and (6) there are 60% contribution together with self-control and peer conformity towards consumptive behavior.

Abstract

Social conflict became one of the phenomena commonly found in schools. To avoid conflict, good adjustment is needed. Meanwhile there are still many multi-ethnic students who have difficulty adjusting themselves to cause conflicts such as fights, disputes and debates that lead to violence. The aim is to find out the picture of adjustment and social conflict experienced by students and to know the relationship between adjustment and social conflict experienced by students. The research sample consisted of 104 students with Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire about adjusting the Likert Scale model with a reliability of 0.724 and a questionnaire about social conflict at 0.727. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between adjustment and social conflict experienced by students (r = -0.582). If the adjustment of students is getting better, the social conflicts experienced by students will decrease and vice versa. It means that some of the multi-ethnic students experience social conflict and counseling services are needed to resolve the conflict.
