Abstract

Pada artikel Bimbingan Karir dan Pendidikan Karir dalam Traitiand Factor ini memakai kajian literautr terpecaya, dari bimbingan karir yangimerupakan sebuah kegiatan dan pekerjaan yang sudah diamati sebelumnya, yang mempelajari berbagai informasi dan cara untuk memberi arahan atau saran kepada orang-orang yang sedang membutuhkan jalan untuk pilihan karirnya, dalam acuan teori trait and factor, bimbingan karir dan pendidikan karir untuk memberi informasi tentang dunia karir juga melatar belakangi kepribadian, minat dan kemampuan, meski demikian, menurut teori trait and factor ini juga menggunakan tes-tes psikologi untuk memangku sebuah karir dan jabatan. Teori ini bertujuan untuk membangun minat dan keinginan siswa dalam memilih karirnya.Materi artikel ini diampu oleh dosen Afdal dan dosen Muri yang berasal dari FIP Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Bimbingan karir menjadi salah satu bagian integral yang harus terus menerus diberika kepada para peseta didik. Karena apabila tidak adanya bimbingan karir tersedia maka akan banyak peserta didik yang merasa kesulitan dalam menentukan jenjag karir yang akan mereka pilih. Bimbingan karir memiliki peranan yang begitu penting dalam meningkatkan kematangan eksplorasi karir pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman lebih jelas mengenai peranan dari bimbingan karir pada tingkat kematangan eksplorasi karir siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi pustaka yang pada dasarnya dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam referensi yang mendukung kebenaran dari sebuah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan karir siswa harus memenuhi lima indikator yang slaing berkaitan. Berbagai indikator dalam program pengembangan bimbingan karir diantaranya adalah keterlibatan siswa dalam melakukan pemilihan karir yang akan dijalankan, orientasi yang mereka miliki terhadap suatu pekerjaan, konsep pemilihan karir, proses penilaian diri, dan juga proses pemecahan masalah dalam karir yang dijalankan.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengelaborasi landasan teori dan strategi keluarga dan guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas. Selanjutnya, dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library reseach), sebagai acuan strategi keluarga dan guru BK dalam meningkatkan career aspiration sehingga siswa berkembang secara optimal menuju generasi berkualitas. Metode pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis isi. Untuk menjaga ketepatan pengkajian dan mencegah kesalahan informasi dalam analisis data maka dilakukan pengecekan antar pustaka dan membaca ulang pustaka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas teori career aspiration. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memformulasi landasan teori dan pelaksanaan manajemen bimbingan konseling meliputi: 1) pengertian career aspiration, 2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi career aspiration 3) strategi keluarga dalam meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas, 4) strategi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan career aspiration siswa menuju generasi berkualitas

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in the UNP Laboratory Development Junior High School, namely the low self-confidence of students. Physical self-concept and parental support are factors that affect students' self-confidence. This study aims to analyze (1) physical self-concept, (2) parental support, (3) self-confidence, (4) the relationship between physical self-concept and student self-confidence, (5) the relationship between parental support and student self-confidence and (6) the relationship between physical self-concept and parental support with student self-confidence. The research method used is quantitative. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The sample of this research was 163 students. Sampling using the Slovin formula and sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire with Likert Scale measurements, the data were analyzed by correlational descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 20.00. The results showed that (1) the students' physical self-concepts were in the high category, (2) the student's parental support was in the high category, (3) the students' self-confidence was in the high category, (4) there was a positive relationship and significant relationship between physical self-concept and students' self-confidence, (5) there is a positive and significant relationship between parental support and student self-confidence, and (6) there is a positive and significant relationship between physical self-concept and parental support and student self-confidence. So, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between physical self-concept and parental support with student self-confidence

Abstract

The background of this research was motivated by there were students who have not the goal and a clear career plan. The purpose of this study were (1) describe students career planning is sighted socio-economic status, gender, and majors, (2) examined differences in students career planning of socio-economic status of high, medium, and low, (3) examined differences in students career planning of based on male and female, (4) examined differences in students career planning majoring in science and social studies, (5) examined differences in career planning of students based on interaction of between socio-economic status, gender, and majors. This research is a comparative descriptive study using 2 x 2 x 3 factorial design. The population of this research was a class XI students at SMAN 7 Padang with 258 students. Sample this research consistsof 160 people and selected by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument was using career planning scale reliability value of 0,751. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that: (1) students career planning in terms of socio-economic status, gender, and majors at the high category, (2) there is no significant differences in career planning ofstudents in terms of socio-economic status of high, medium and low, (3) there is no significant differences in career planning of students in terms of male and female, (4) there is nosignificant difference in career planning of students in terms of majoring in science and social studies, (5) there is no difference in career planning of students in terms of interaction between socio-economic status, gender, and majors. The implication of this research as one of an input for designing aguidance and counseling program, especially in the career planning.

Abstract

The emergence of the internet has a major effect on human life, including in education. The internet contributes to academics so that it has a very important role for student learning success. This research aims to describe the contribution of internet utilization as a learning resource towards the student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Padang. This study used a descriptive quantitative research method, and the data were analyzed by using the simple linear regression. The population of this research was 920 students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang, and the sample chosen was 279 students selected by using the proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a scale of internet utilization with a Likert model. The findings of this research showed that the use of the internet as a learning resource contributes towards the student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Padang with an effective contribution 40.4%.
