Abstract

Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for medicines to treat many types of diseases. Lunasia amara is one of the medicinal plants used by Indonesian people for a long time. This study aimed to identify the secondary metabolites of L. amara stem bark using phytochemical analysis and then assess its antioxidant and antibacterial activities. Metabolite extraction will be carried out with an ethanol solvent, and antioxidant activity will be determined using the α, α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assays. Antibacterial experiments were conducted against two types of bacteria: Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. From the results of the phytochemical investigation, the predominant compound group is alkaloid. The ethanol extract metabolites have antioxidant activity and belong to the strong antioxidant group with an IC50 value of 77.96 ppm. Antibacterial activity was weak at concentrations as high as 20%. Based on these findings, further assays can be conducted, such as cytotoxic activity against various cancer cells.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangkan media video animasi berbasis KineMaster pada muatan IPA materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia kelas V SD N 15 Sitiung. Minimnya media pembelajaran yang menarik minat peserta didik menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Peserta didik memiliki karakter yang senang bermain game, menonton YouTube, tiktok bahkan membuat tiktok. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik yaitu menghadirkan video animasi ke dalam proses belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran video animasi yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan paradigma 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Hasil uji validasi media video animasi yang dilakukan oleh 3 ahli memdapatkan nilai rata-rata 88,6% yang termasuk kategori sangat valid, uji praktikalitas dikategorikan sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 83,7%, dan hasil efektifitas diperoleh skor rata-rata 93,4% dikategorikan sangat efektif. Hasilnya, media video animasi berbasis KineMaster yang dikembangkan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk diterapkan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of students majoring in English towards the use of the Duolingo for learning English and to find out which aspects of language improve after using the Duolingo for learning English. The population were 10 English Education Department students who had used or were currently using Duolingo. This research used quantitative method. In collecting the data, this research used a questionnaire. The results of this research showed that most students liked and enjoyed using the Duolingo application for learning English. The students were asked questions regarding their perceptions of Duolingo, particularly about the elements of utility, content, context, control, and connectivity or mobility, and almost all agreed that they liked the Duolingo app because various aspects of it aligned with these five elements. Moreover, most students agreed that Duolingo helped them improve some aspects of their English skills, such as improving their pronunciation, writing, listening, speaking, and vocabulary. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the majority of students have a positive perception of using the Duolingo app for learning English.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter anak usia dini mencakup penanaman dan pengamalan kebajikan termasuk kerja sama, kejujuran, kasih sayang, disiplin, empati, dan tanggung jawab. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh permainan bakiak terhadap dimensi kemampuan gotong royong anak, khususnya usia 5 - 6 tahun. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik eksperimen merupakan metodologi yang digunakan. Penulis ini menggunakan desain One Shot Case Study. Setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan permainan bakiak, 16 anak sudah menunjukkan tanda-tanda berkembangnya kemampuan bekerjasama satu sama lain, sedangkan 3 anak belum menunjukkan tanda-tanda berkembangnya kemampuan bekerjasama. Analisis uji satu sampel pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa hasil 2-tailed signifikan pada 0,000<0,05 atau kurang dari ambang batas signifikansi, yang menunjukkan diterimanya Ha dan ditolaknya H0. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa TK N Pembina Sungai Rumbai yang berusia antara lima sampai enam tahun mempunyai komponen gotong royong yang dipengaruhi oleh permainan bakiak. Anak-anak belajar tanggung jawab dan kerja tim sambil memainkan permainan tradisional bakiak bersama-sama.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit menahun (kronis) berupa gangguan metabolik ditandai dengan kadar gula darah yang melebihi batas normal, intervensi keperawatan secara mandiri yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah kadar gula darah dengan melakukan Senam Pilates. Masalah penelitian adalah masih adanya penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 dengan gula darah tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah diketahui pengaruh Senam Pilates terhadap kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Balai Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD) Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Puskesmas Megang Sakti.Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre experimental dengan pendekatan pre test-post test one group design. Populasi sebanyak 567 orang dan sampel sebanyak 10 orang. Jenis data penelitian adalah data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan statistik uji wilcoxon test (uji nonparametrik).Hasil : Hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 sebelum diberikan Senam Pilates adalah 240,30 mg/dL dan nilai rata-rata kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 sesudah diberikan Senam Pilates adalah 159,10 mg/dL. Simpulan ada pengaruh Senam Pilates terhadap kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Balai Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD) Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Puskesmas Megang Sakti hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p = 0,005, berarti < 0,05 (α)Saran : Saran dalam penelitian ini bagi Puskesmas Megang Sakti agar bisa menerapkan dan melaksanakan kegiatan senam Pilates sebagai program kegiatan rutin kepada pasien DM tipe 2.Kata Kunci :  Senam Pilates, Gula Darah, Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 ABSTRACTBackground : Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease in the form of metabolic disorders characterized by blood sugar levels that exceed normal limits, independent nursing interventions that can be done to overcome blood sugar problems by doing Pilates Exercises. The research problem is that there are still people with type 2 diabetes mellitus with high blood sugar. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Pilates Exercises on blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Regional Public Service Center (BLUD) Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Megang Sakti Health Center.Methods : This study used quantitative research with a pre-experimental research type with a pre-test-post-test one group design approach. The population was 567 people and a sample of 10 people. The types of research data are primary and secondary data. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test statistic (nonparametric test).Results : The results of the study showed that the average blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus before being given Pilates Exercise was 240.30 mg/dL and the average blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus after being given Pilates Exercise was 159,10 mg/dL. The conclusion is that there is an effect of Pilates Exercise on blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Regional Public Service Center (BLUD) Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Megang Sakti Health Center. The results of the statistical test obtained a p value = 0.005, meaning <0.05 (α) Suggestions in this study for Megang Sakti Health Conclusion : Center to be able to implement and carry out Pilates exercise activities as a routine activity program for patients with type 2 diabetes.Keywords: Pilates exercise, blood sugar, type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan model pembelajaran Flipped Learning (FLM) dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di kalangan guru-guru SMP di Kota Mataram. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang melibatkan lokakarya dan pendampingan, guru-guru dilatih untuk mengembangkan modul ajar yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan prinsip FLM. FLM adalah model pembelajaran yang membalikkan peran tradisional di kelas, di mana aktivitas pembelajaran utama dilakukan di luar kelas, sementara waktu di kelas digunakan untuk diskusi interaktif dan pembelajaran aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan modul ajar berbasis FLM. Selain itu, guru-guru yang terlibat melaporkan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dan partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyoroti potensi FLM sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk implementasi FLM di sekolah-sekolah lain. Luaran dari kegiatan ini meliputi publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal pendidikan dan pengembangan platform Google Site sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning English for VHS students should be directed at mastering the ability to use English for communication in their respective fields. However, field observations show that the ability to use English remains a challenge for most VHS students due to various obstacles. This study aims to develop an innovative teaching module model to support the implementation of teaching English for Vocational Schools (TEVHS). This is qualitative reserach using survey method. It was conducted at VHS in Mataram Lombok, involving 23 English teachers from VHS English Teachers’ Forum (MGMP VHS). The data were collected using triangulation techniques such as a questionnaire, focus group discussion (FGD), ducummentary. The collected data were then analyzed qualitatively using Miles & Hubbermen’s Model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the analysis, the conclusions are as follows: (1) English learning for VHS students needs to be reconstructed to meet the demands of the workforce. With the diverse requirements of various occupations, the design of TEVHS must be based on the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approach; (2) TEVHS must be designed to instill communication skills by providing various inputs from receptive skills (Listening, Reading, and Viewing) which can be used as models for language production (Speaking, Reading, Presenting). To enhance innovation in learning, it is recommended that the design of TEVHS integrate such approach and model as ESP, Whole-Part-Whole, and TPACK to overcome various problems.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk (1) membekali guru dengan pengetahuan tentang Laporan Best Practice guru Bahasa Inggris SMP Kota Mataram; dan (2) mendampingi guru Bahasa Inggris dalam mengembangkan Laporan Best Practice. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kota Mataram dengan melibatkan 20 orang guru Bahasa Inggris SMP Kota Mataram dan 3 mahasiswa PS Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Mataram. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara bauran (f2f dan online) dengan menggunakan Google Meet) dengan durasi kegiatan (online, penugasan, pendampingan, dan tatap muka) berdurasi 32 jam. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan Model Deconstruction-Construction, yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan, yaitu Concept Building (penanaman konsep), Deconstruction, yaitu membedah karya yang untuk melihat unsur-unsur tulisan, dan Construction, yaitu peserta mengembangkan BP denngan bermodalkan konsep dan hasil telaah. Dari rangkaian kegiatan online dan offline, dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) kegiatan PKM telah berjalan sesuai dengan perencanaan kegiatan; (2) khalayak sasaran telah memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengembangkan Laporan BP; (3) Khalayak sasaran telah menghasilkan produk Laporan BP dengan rentangan ketuntasan 50% - 100%; (4) Khalayak sasaran merespon positif terkait inovasi yang dikembangkan berupa LMS Google Sites, pelatihan secara online, dan workshop tatap muka.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of presentation of Selodang Mayang Dance at the Amantubillah Palace of Mempawah Regency textually and contextually. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The approach used in this study is ethnochoreology. A multidisciplinary approach, which seeks to explore the textual and contextual world. The results of this study show that the form of presentation of Selodang Mayang Dance has textual aspects consisting of a variety of movements, accompaniment music, costumes, makeup, performance venues, upper design, floor design, and group composition. then contextually researchers explore the outline of dance history, dance processes, dance development, community characteristics (social), dancer gender, and symbolic in Selodang Mayang Dance. Data collection techniques used in the form of interview techniques, documentation observation and documentation studies. Selodang Mayang Dance is a welcoming dance for important guests who were present at the Robo’-Robo’ event at the Amantubillah Palace of Mempawah Regency. The number of dancers in Selodang Mayang Dance is usually an odd number or at least 5 people who are the wrong dancers carry a property called Selodang Mayang

Abstract

This study aimed to improve vocabulary and grammar skills for tourism practitioners in Bayan Village and to design teaching English for tourism practitioners using Standpoint Model. A qualitative descriptive research design was employed to explore the specific English language needs of ten tourism practitioners, including chief of tour guides, tour guides, the weavers of Poleng and Londong Abang, souvenir sellers, and Bayan village specialty drink. The research was conducted in Bayan Village, North Lombok. Data collection procedures included observation, interview, and documentation, while the instruments used comprised observation sheets and interview sheets. The results of this research showed that the syllabus was created for tourism practitioners in Bayan Village, the English language learning design was designed using the Standpoint Model, which focuses on the specific needs of tourism practitioners based on their context and work environment by determining authentic tasks and texts used to develop a syllabus designed to meet their needs, this model involves: Needs Analysis, Determining Authentic Tasks and Texts, Designing Learning Objectives, Selecting Content and Methods, and Assessment. English learning can be more relevant and effective in improving the communication skills of tourism practitioners, thus supporting the development of sustainable tourism in Bayan Village.
