Abstract

Semen dengan kualitas yang baik, sangat dipengaruhi oleh penanganannya terutama penyimpanan semen. Spermatozoa sangat rentan terhadap radikal bebas, penambahan filtrat buah stroberi sebagai antioksidan dapat menetralkan radikal bebas pada spermatozoa. Komponen antioksidan pada filtrat buah stroberi; flavonoid, antosianin, flavonol, flavanol, ellagic acid, selenium, zink, dan vitamin C akan mempertahankan keadaan normal sel dari adanya pro-oksidan atau radikal bebas yang mengakibatkan kerusakan membran dan DNA spermatozoa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan hipotesis bahwa filtrat buah stroberi dapat meningkatkan daya tahan semen babi Landrace ketika ditambahkan pengencer air kelapa. Pengambilan dan penampungan semen dilakukan dengan metode hand dan glove pada bagian korpus penis dan semen yang diambil adalah hasil fraksi kedua. Evaluasi semen segar berdasarkan 2 parameter; makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Pemberian filtrat stroberi sebagai antioksidan dibagi kedalam kelompok kontrol (K0 dan K1) dan kelompok perlakuan (P1 100µL, P2 200µL, P3 300µL, P4 400µL dan P5 500µL) disimpan dengan menggunakan metode water jacket dengan suhu holding time selama 16 jam diamati 2 jam sekali. Hasil evaluasi makroskopis dan mikroskopis semen segar dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data evaluasi semen cair dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Dan dilanjutkan uji Duncan apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata pada perlakuan, untuk membandingkan hasil terhadap tiap perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap tambahan air kelapa sebagai pengencer alami dan filtrat stroberi sebagai antioksidan dalam meningkatkan kualitas spermatozoa. Perlakuan P4 400µL menjadi dosis yang paling tinggi persentase motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa selama 16 jam pemeriksaan yaitu 68.75% dan 70.83%.

Abstract

Rabies is a fatal zoonotic disease and is still a threat to public health, especially in areas with high populations of disease-carrying animals. In 2024, there was a case of rabies in Sillu village, one of the villages in Kupang Regency. This village area is adjacent to Camplong II village, which is the locus of the Undana Veterinary Study Program KKN. Camplong II village is a strategic location for implementing rabies socialization and education programs. This activity aimed to increase public knowledge and awareness, especially among school children, regarding the dangers of rabies, prevention, and initial handling of bites from rabies-transmitting animals (HPR). The methods used were pre-test, socialization and education, distribution of pamphlets, interactive discussions, and post-tests. The evaluation results showed an 82% increase in children's understanding of rabies after the activity took place. This program shows that the right socialization and education approach can increase public awareness in efforts to prevent rabies.

Abstract

Rabies remains a critical public health concern, particularly in areas with limited resources and insufficient preventive efforts. Early education plays a vital role in raising awareness and promoting preventive behavior. This community service activity aimed to educate elementary school children about rabies through a creative and enjoyable method—coloring activities. The program was conducted at SD Inpres Nenonaheun, located in Nunhila Village, Mollo Barat Sub-district, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It involved interactive coloring sessions using rabies-themed educational materials specifically designed for children aged 7 to 12. This activity combined visual learning and storytelling to convey essential information about rabies transmission, symptoms, and prevention. Evaluation through pre- and post-activity questionnaires revealed a significant improvement in the children's understanding of rabies. The use of coloring activities as an educational tool proved to be an effective strategy for raising awareness among elementary school students, indicating its potential for broader application in similar rural settings.

Abstract

Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengembangakan Media Ular Tangga Rakasasa Pada Kemampuan Mengenal Angka Anak Usia Dini Tk IB 71 Sialang Gaung. Meningkatkan Tingkat Perkembangan Dan Kemajuan Yang Dicapai Anak-Anak Setelah Proses Belajar Dalam Jangka Waktu Tertentu.      Hasil Penelitian Menunjukan Bahwa Media Ular Tangga Raksasamenggunakan Jenis Penelitian Research And Development (R&D) Yang Bertujuan Untuk Menghasilkan Suatu Produk Baru Dari Hasil Pengembangan. Metode Pengembangan Ini Menggunakan Pengembangan Addie Yaitu Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi Dan Evaluasi. Berdasrkan . Hasil Penilaian Oleh Ahli Media Secara Keseluruhan Mendapatkan Presentase 89% Dengan Kategori Sangat Valid, Penilaian Dari Ahli Materi Mendapatkan Presentase 80% Dengan Kategori Sangat Valid, Dan Penilaian Oleh Ahli Bahasan Mendapatkan Presentase 88% Dengan Kategori Sangat Valid. Dari Hasil Yang Didapatkan Dari Ke-3 Ahli Maka Media Ular Tangga Raksasa Dapat Dinyatakan Layak Digunakan Dalam Proses Pembelajaran.

Abstract

Menurut Shomiyatun (2019) dengan mengenalkan budaya tradisional, anak diharapkan dapat belajar tentang budaya sekitar, mengembangkan rasa cinta dan hormat, serta mampu mewariskan budaya tersebut kepada generasi mendatang. Perkembangan budaya zaman ini harus menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju. Oleh karena itu budaya inovatif, kreatif, dan edukatif perlu dikenalkan sejak dini agar anak tertarik untuk belajar tentang budaya. Kebudayaan tradisional yang bersangkutan bersumber dari adat istiadat masyarakat setempat. Salah satunya adalah tari. Menurut Mulyani, tari anak usia dini adalah suatu proses dalam mendidik anak agar mampu mengontrol dan menginterprestasikan gerak tubuh, memanipulasi benda-benda dan menumbuhkan harmoni antara tubuh dan pikiran. Sejalan dengan Yetti utami menjelaskan bahwa tari anak usia dini adalah kegiatan yang menekankan pada gerak motorik halus maupun motorik kasar yang dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan anak (Utami, 2019:88). Tari kreasi dolanan adalah tarian kreasi tradisional asli Jawa Tengah yang biasanya dikenal sebagai tarian permainan dan merupakan tarian yang sudah berkembang dari pola-pola tari yang sudah ada sebelumnya dan merupakan tarian garapan baru yang mempunyai kebebasan dalam mengungkapkan gerak (Falciano et al., 2022; Shing, 2013). Tari kreasi dolanan menjadi salah satu kegiatan untuk mengenalkan nilai-nilai budi pekerti pada anak. Musik atau lagu pada tari kreasi dolanan ini menggunakan salah satu tembang dolanan yang diciptakan oleh salah satu tokoh wali songo, yaitu sunan Giri yang berjudul padang bulan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap. Model pengembangan ini adalah model pengembangan yang menggunakan 4 tahapan yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perencanaan), Development (pengembangan), Disseminate (penyebaran). Penelitian pengembangan merupakan penelitian yang menghasilkan atau memodifikasi produk yang dapat dipakai untuk memecahkan masalah yang ada di dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu produk berupa gerakan tari kreasi dolanan untuk mengenalkan budaya pada anak usia dini. Produk ini disebarkan kepada anak dan juga disebarkan melalui youtube dalam bentuk video dan juga dalam bentuk buku panduan gerakan tarinya guna dalam proses mengenalkan budaya pada anak. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian yang telah saya lakukan, maka pengembangan video gerakan tari kreasi dolanan untuk mengenalkan budaya pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengembangkan tari kreasi dolanan yang dikemas secara khusus untuk anak usia dini yang mana pada pengembangan tari kreasi dolanan ini akan lebih dispesifikkan pada pembelajaran gerakan-gerakan tangan dan gerakan-gerakan kaki dengan tujuan agar dapat membantu meningkatkan motorik pada anak.

Abstract

Vocational high schools require ESP-based English learning materials, especially in the Nautical Fishing Vessel department. This research aims to develop a teaching module using Canva in the tenth grade, majoring in Nautical Fishing Vessel at SMKN 1 Keruak. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, using the ADDIE model and the Genre Based Approach (GBA) learning model in its development. Observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire were used in data collection. Then, the data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this research were as follows: The Canva teaching module in the Building Knowledge of the Field (BKOF) section displays two readings and one video of descriptive text to build students' knowledge regarding the text. The Modeling of the Text (MOT) section explains the description and social function, structure, and language features of descriptive text. Part Joint Construction of the Text (JCOT) presents the task of creating guided descriptive text and presenting the results in Canva presentation slides. Meanwhile, the Independent Construction of the Text (ICOT) section presents the task of creating descriptive text individually. This Canva teaching module can be declared valid and can be used without revision based on expert validation results with a score of 95,25%. This module is also categorized as excellent and good based on 90% of the teachers' opinions and 78,98% of students’ opinions on the English teaching module through Canva.

Abstract

This study investigates learners' knowledge to guess the meaning of vocabulary in narrative texts. The background emphasizes the significance of vocabulary in mastering English, especially for communication and comprehension. This study aims to determine students' knowledge in guessing the meaning of vocabulary in narrative texts. Students also have difficulty understanding the meaning of the text given because of their lack of vocabulary knowledge. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, focusing on 8th-grade students at a junior high school. Data were collected using narrative texts and vocabulary lists in open-ended tests. Findings show that most students struggled to guess word meanings from context, with 74.01% classified as having no knowledge, 18.19% having full knowledge, and 6.17% partial knowledge. students cannot find the meaning of the vocabulary in the narrative text that has been provided. Most of them do not know the meaning of the context of the textThe study suggests using contextual learning strategies to improve vocabulary acquisition.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Science (IPAS) students. Therefore, this research aims to examine the effect of implementing the Cooperative Learning Model: Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) assisted by Question Ball media on Science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Tiumang. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Tiumang, with a saturated sampling technique used to select the sample. Data collection was done using a test with a set of questions as the instrument. After applying the Cooperative Learning Model: Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), the average pretest score was 56, and the posttest score was 72, indicating an improvement in posttest scores. Based on the analysis using non-parametric tests, the asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, thus the hypothesis is accepted. This indicates that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model: Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with Question Ball media has a positive effect on Science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Tiumang.

Abstract

This study discusses the English language needs of tourism practitioners in Lantan Village, Central Lombok. This study identified 16 tourism actors, including tour guides and traders, who had difficulty communicating effectively due to limited English language skills. The study was conducted in Lantan Village, Central Lombok using R&D approach. Data collection procedures included observation, interviews and documentation, while the instruments used consisted of observation sheets and interview sheets. The results of this study indicate that a syllabus was created for tourism practitioners in Lantan Village, utilizing the Language-Based Responsibility Model (LBRM), this study conducted a needs analysis to determine the essential language skills needed to interact with international visitors. The findings of the study highlighted the need for English language training that is tailored to the local cultural context, leading to the development of a relevant syllabus aimed at improving communication skills. Ultimately, this study emphasizes that improving English language skills is essential to improving service quality and enriching tourist experiences, thus contributing to the development of sustainable tourism in Lantan Village.

Abstract

Vocational high schools aim to prepare students with the skills necessary to enter the world of work directly, including mastery of the English language. However, challenges remain, such as teachers' limited understanding of innovative teaching methods and a lack of interactive and contextual learning resources tailored to students' professional needs. This Research is a collaborative research type of Research and Development (R&D) that aims to design English teaching modules using Kahoot game-based learning for vocational schools, utilizing ESP (English for Specific Purposes) and the Genre-based Approach model. This research procedure is the ADDIE model. The module design follows the GBA stages: Building Knowledge of the Field (BKOF), Modeling of the Text (MOT), Joint Construction of Text (JCOT), and Independent Construction of Text (ICOT), with Kahoot integrated to foster student involvement and participation. Expert validation resulted in high scores for media (98.33%) and material (93.84%), which shows the feasibility of the module. Application to 33 hospitality students at SMKN 4 Mataram showed increased enthusiasm and active learning. Student responses rated this module as very effective (89.32%). These findings highlight Kahoot's potential to improve learning outcomes and engagement in English vocational education to meet specific industry needs.
