Abstract

Metode 360 degree feedback merupakan penilaian yang dapat memberikan umpan balik kinerja dari diri sendiri, atasan, bawahan, dan rekan kerja. Hasil dari penerapan kinerja ini dapat menjadi sistem monitoring dan evaluasi bagi pihak kepegawaian dan pegawai terkait untuk mengembangkan dan menetapakan target kerja dan penentuan penghargaan (reward). Pada metode 360 degree feedback ini ditemukan juga penghambat dimana akan munculnya penilaian internal antar pegawai.

Abstract

Tata letak fasilitas yang kurang tepat dapat menimbulkan pemborosan pada kegiatan material handling. Area penyimpanan industri flexible packaging di mana penelitian dilakukan, ditemukan adanya indikasi pemborosan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui jarak lintasan dan biaya material handling pada layout awal dan mendapatkan layout usulan yang dapat memangkas jarak dan biaya material handling. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Layout Planning dengan cara membandingkan jarak perpindahan layout awal dan layout usulan menggunakan pengukuran rectilinear dan euclidean. Pada layout awal didapatkan jarak total lintasan material handling per bulan pada kuartal kedua tahun 2021 sebesar 101.093,94 meter dengan pengukuran rectilinear dan 80.830,52 meter dengan pengukuran euclidean. Total biaya per bulan Rp. 27.546.279,32,- . Setelah dilakukan penyusunan layout usulan didapatkan jarak total lintasan material handling per bulan pada kuartal kedua tahun 2021 sebesar 75.420,27 meter dengan pengukuran rectilinear dan 63.960,37 meter dengan pengukuran euclidean. Total biaya yang dikeluarkan per bulan Rp. 27.229.776,03,- dengan pengukuran rectilinear dan Rp. 27.286.168,12,- dengan pengukuran euclidean. Maka diperoleh efisiensi jarak sebesar 25.673,67 meter atau 25,39% untuk pengukuran rectilinear dan 16.870,15 meter atau 20,87% untuk pengukuran euclidean. Biaya yang dihemat sebesar Rp. 316.503,28,- atau 1,14%  untuk pengukuran rectilinear dan Rp. 260.111,20,- atau 0,94% untuk pengukuran euclidean. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, layout usulan menghasilkan jarak lintasan dan biaya yang lebih kecil dibandingkan layout awal.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (OHS) is an important aspect of the world of work that must be fulfilled by companies. One of the ways that companies do to meet these needs is by providing training to employees in the form of work accident simulations which aim to allow employees to analyze accidents that arise due to work activities. PT. XYZ is a company that has work activities, one of which is moving goods using a crane, so the company is obliged to provide information on work accidents that can occur in this activity. This study aims to design a tool as a simulation for activities using this crane with the method used is Research and Development. Designing a mini crane simulator prototype as a prop for work accidents at PT. XYZ was developed based on Arduino with the use of an Infrared sensor which will cancel the light if the light is obstructed by an object and make crane activity stop so that work accidents can be overcome. The use of this Mini Crane Simulator is placed in the Safety Dojo which is a training venue. Further and further research on this tool is still needed and tailored to the needs of the company.

Abstract

Business competition is increasingly fierce, demanding that companies must provide the best products and services to customers. The quality of a product or service is an essential aspect for the continuity of a business, especially those attribute items that are directly felt by customers when purchasing or using a product. This study was aimed to analyze the quality of service to customers in a hospital-based on customer preferences. Customer assessment of each hospital quality indicator was performed through filling out questionnaires by inpatients, to determine the gap between the importance and performance levels. The analytical method used was Importance-Performance Analysis-IPA. As many as 25 quality indicators are identified from SERVQUAL. The quality dimension that becomes a priority for improved performance is related to Reliability, Assurance, and Empathy.

Abstract

Abstrak Kawasan industri merupakan area yang pemusatan kegiatan industri yang dilengkapi prasarana, sarana dan fasilitas penunjang lainnya. Pengembangan area kawasan industri menjadi hal penting yang diamati pada penelitian ini terkhusus pada area kawasan industri di Karawang. Terdapat alih fungsi pada pola ruang yang berdampak pada lingkungan salah satunya keterserapan air sehingga membuat bencana banjir di industri. Penelitian ini mengkaji perubahan tutupan lahan dan pengaruh perubahannya pada pola ruang terhadap luas area banjir dengan membandingkan hasil pengolahan tahun 2022 dan tahun 2031 dengan memanfaatkan teknologi sistem informasi geografis (SIG). Hasil yang didapatkan menginformasikan kenaikan sebesar 1.081% yang berpusat di bagian timur, timur tenggara hingga selatan Kabupaten Karawang. Hal ini memberikan pengaruh pada nilai koefisien C (koefisien limpasan) yang menghasilkan nilai 0.91 (mendekati 1) yang artinya kondisi lahan semakin jenuh atau sudah sedikit memiliki daya serap terhadap air yang dapat mengakibatkan banjir di lingkungan kawasan tertinggi pada kelas tinggi (> 1.5m). Jika dikaji pengaruhnya terhadap sektor industri berdasarkan studi literatur didapatkan pengaruh aktivitas rantai pasok (supply chain) diantaranya pembatasan kegiatan, naiknya biaya distribusi, rusaknya fasilitas, pasokan utilitas terhambat, efek kesehatan, degradasi tanah, dan dibutuhkannya waktu serta biaya dalam penanganan pascabanjir. Kata kunci: Banjir; Tata Ruang; Tutupan Lahan; Sistem Informasi Geografis, Rantai Pasok Abstract Industrial estates are areas where industrial activities are concentrated, equipped with infrastructure, facilities and other supporting facilities. The development of industrial area areas is an important thing to observe in this study, especially in industrial sectors in Karawang. There is a transfer of functions in spatial patterns that have an impact on the environment, one of which is the absorption of water, which causes flooding in the industry. This study examines changes in land cover and the effect of changes in spatial patterns on the flood area by comparing the results of processing in 2022 and 2031 by utilizing geographic information system (GIS) technology. The results obtained indicated an increase of 1,081% centered in the eastern, southeastern to southern parts of Karawang Regency. This has an effect on the value of the coefficient C (runoff coefficient) which results in a value of 0.91 (close to 1), which means that the condition of the land is getting saturated or has little absorption of water which can cause flooding in the highest area environment in the high class (> 1.5m). If the impact on the industrial sector is studied based on literature studies, it is found that the influence of supply chain activities includes activity restrictions, increased distribution costs, damage to facilities, hampered utility supply, health effects, soil degradation, and the time and cost required for post-flood handling. Abstract

Perencanaan persediaan yang baik merupakan kunci dari kelancaran pemenuhan permintaan. Dalam permasalahan permintaan yang tidak pasti, menjadikan sulitnya pengendalian persediaan sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kehabisan persediaan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya dalam melakukan perencanaan persediaan agar tidak kehabisan persediaan dan terjadi loss sales. Peramalan permintaan merupakan suatu metode yang dapat memperkirakan permintaan di masa depan dan metode min-max merupakan metode yang dapat menjadi penentu jumlah stok pengamanan, tingkat persediaan minimum dan maksimum, serta jumlah persediaan yang harus dipesan untuk memenuhi tingkat persediaan sehingga dapat terhindar dari kekurangan maupun kelebihan persediaan berdasarkan pemakaian ataupun permintaan produk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan merekomendasikan perencanaan persediaan menggunakan metode peramalan permintaan dan min-max pada spare part contact tip type 1,2 × 45 mm di PT XYZ, guna meminimalisir terjadinya kekurangan persediaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peramalan dengan metode time series diantaranya, moving average, single exponential smoothing, double exponential smoothing, regresi linear, dekomposisi aditif, dan dekomposisi multiplikatif serta metode min-max. Dalam pemilihan metode peramalan didapatkan nilai MAPE terkecil pada metode dekomposisi aditif dengan nilai 29,252%. Dari hasil perhitungan min-max didapatkan jumlah yang dibutuhkan untuk stok pengamanan sebanyak 12722 unit, titik pemesanan kembali ketikan menyentuh titik 24962 unit, jumlah maksimal persediaan sebanyak 49923 unit dan jumlah produk yang perlu dipesan guna mengisi persediaan sejumlah 24962 unit.

Abstract

This paper explores the influence of the internet of things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) on the decision-making processes of modern manufacturing systems. With the proliferation of IoT devices and the development of AI technologies, manufacturing companies increasingly leverage these technologies to improve their decision-making abilities. This study aims to investigate the potential benefits, difficulties, and ramifications of integrating IoT and AI in manufacturing systems. The review employs the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) method with a systematic mapping process with four research questions. A total of 1282 articles were collected between 2017 and 2023, reviewed in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and 66 articles were chosen. The research on IoT and AI technologies influentially affects other research in the production control layer manufacturing area based on the top-ten cited articles. In contrast, the research in this area focused on the operations management layer, specifically manufacturing analytics processes. This paper’s findings contribute to a greater understanding of the impact of IoT and AI on decision-making in modern multi-domain manufacturing systems and provide direction for future research in this field.

Abstract

Multilayer plastic waste, sanitary ceramics and rubber have potential as paving block mixtures. Multilayer plastic waste is difficult to decompose and recycle, resulting in minimal management. In addition to multilayer plastic waste, rubber waste is also hard to decompose because it is a non-organic waste resistant to water, soil, and chemical compounds. Ceramic waste can be used as a mix for paving blocks due to its durability and strength, and it helps reduce the volume of waste being disposed of. This research aims to see the suitability of the visible properties of paving blocks from these three wastes with SNI 03-0691-1996 concerning Concrete Bricks (Paving Blocks) and the amount of waste reduction potential. Making paving blocks uses 8 (eight) compositions, namely Ceramic Waste (LKK): Multilayer Plastic Waste (LPM) at 20%:80%, 30%:70%, 40%:60% and 0%:100%. Then Ceramic Waste (LKK): Multilayer Plastic Waste (LPM): and Rubber Waste (LKT) at 20%:60%:20%, 30%:50%:20%, 40%:40%:20%, and 50%:30%:20%. The visible properties of paving blocks that comply with SNI 03-0691-1996 are only found in some samples. Non-compliance with SNI can be caused by several things, including varying composition amounts, mixing materials (homogenization) and paving block printing. Based on the results of making paving blocks with 8 (eight) different compositions, there are 3 (three) compositions whose properties appear to be by SNI 03-0691-1996, namely at a composition of 20% LKK: 80% LPM, 100% LPM, and 20 % LKT: 60% LPM: 20% LKK. The amount of waste reduction from these three wastes ranges from 167.6 kg to 768 kg. Keywords: waste, plastic, ceramic, rubber, paving block.

Abstract

The industrial sector is the backbone of the country in building the defense sector and economic stability that needs to maintain productivity and be competitive. One of the companies that manufacture automotive components, Mitsubishi, manufactures automotive components and must have zero defect requirements. However, in practice, it was found that 1 (one) unit of CJM had a brake caliper malfunction in the condition that the unit was ready to be sent to the carpool consumer of a company that produces automotive components. The damage is a discrepancy in the diameter of the piston seal, which closes the gap between the piston and the piston housing, allowing for brake fluid leakage, which affects the "zero defect" commitment. Through the application of the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) method with the formation of a Root Cause Investigation (RCI) team, an investigation was carried out to find the root cause of the failure. However, the data processing results of the diameter of the seal thickness obtained have a Cp value of 0.98 and a Cpk of 0.81, which means the process has not been able to work optimally. Therefore, we decided to make some improvements, adding Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and making Poka-Yokes as corrective actions in dealing with this problem. After almost 3 months since the investigation began, the data processing results on the piston seal were Cp = 1.86 and Cpk = 1.80.

Abstract

One of the MSMEs (Micro, Small Medium Enterprise) in the food sector located in Cibuaya Karawang area, namely Opak Ketan MSMEs, still carries out the opak production process manually, resulting in various shapes and diameters of opak. Opak ketan itself is made from a type of opak with different sizes and thicknesses, such as larger and thicker opak, and smaller opak with thin thickness and a crisp texture due to being baked. According to field analysis and interviews conducted at the research site, the manual production process presents difficulties and causes fatigue for workers, particularly in the formation of opak diameter and thickness. The printing process is done one by one (repeatedly), making it time-consuming and causing fatigue for workers who sit for long periods. As a result, the shape and thickness of opak lack precision (inconsistencies in size), leading to a lack of standardization. In terms of work activities, workers easily experience fatigue, particularly in their hands, waist, and back due to repetitive static movements. Ergonomically, working conditions are a factor that can enhance productivity, safety, and comfort for workers. Therefore, there is a need for the development and design of a suitable technology innovation model that can facilitate opak workers by creating a tool for printing opak ketan using an opak printing machine. This innovation can influence increased production capacity to be faster and standardized in shape and thickness. This design also applies the House of Quality (HOQ) model which successfully links consumer desires with a product design which produces 10 assumed criteria and 15 characteristics in order of importance. So it is concluded that the first priority that needs to be taken into account is determining price, flexibility and engine resources (fuel).
