Abstract

Employee performance management is crucial for achieving organizational goals, especially in dynamic industries like aviation. PT XYZ, a leading aircraft maintenance provider, recognizes the importance of optimizing employee performance. Individual competency and organizational compensation are key factors influencing this performance. Certification, as proof of competency, ensures employees possess the necessary skills, yet it is becoming rare in Human Resource Management services, potentially hampering performance. In addition, PT XYZ survey data highlights compensation as a weak point, impacting overall employee performance. This research aims to examine the relationship between competency, compensation, and employee performance at PT XYZ's Human Capital Management Service using the correlation regression method. The findings indicate that both competency and compensation significantly influence employee performance, with a correlation value of 0.696 (69.6%), indicating a strong relationship. Additionally, the analysis shows that competence and compensation together account for 48.4% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 51.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Employee competency has a positive and significant influence on performance, with a regression coefficient value of 1.027, indicating that an increase in employee competency is directly proportional to an increase in their performance. In contrast, compensation shows no partial significant influence on performance, with a regression coefficient value of -0.092. The study recommends that PT XYZ’s Human Capital Management Department prioritize enhancing employee competency and reviewing compensation strategies to improve overall performance. This research contributes significantly to developing more effective human resource management policies in a competitive business environment.

Abstract

Sinovec SME is a medium-sized enterprise specializing in the production and services of garment convection, with its flagship product being screen-printed shirts. This study focuses on the calculation of the cost of goods sold using the full costing method, which takes into account all production costs, including raw materials, direct labor, and both variable and fixed factory overhead costs. The research combines field studies to gather necessary data and literature reviews to compare with previous research and provide references. Based on the profit and loss statement, it's evident that Sinovec achieved a profit of Rp 1,351,500 from selling 300 shirts in one month. With the cost of goods sold per shirt and an 18% profit margin from a selling price of Rp 70,000, Sinovec managed to attain significant profits. This demonstrates efficiency in cost management and appropriate pricing strategies. Consequently, Sinovec is able to maintain a healthy profit margin in its business. Accurate calculations and suitable pricing strategies are key to Sinovec's success in optimizing profitability in the competitive garment convection market. Abstract

Background: Peningkatan mutu sumber daya manusia menjadi bagian yang penting untuk memenangkan persaingan pada era Industri 4.0. Hal ini menjadi tuntutan bagi dunia pendidikan untuk dapat terus melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan pada sistem pendidikannya agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang terampil dan kompeten sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. SMK MedikaCom Bandung merupakan Sekolah Pusat Keunggulan yang ada di daerah Bandung yang telah memiliki 9 jurusan telah menerapkan konsep pembelajaran teaching industry yang memanfaatkan teknologi digitalisasi dalam proses pembelajarannya siswa/i. Saat ini analisis situasi kondisi sekolah yaitu berupaya memberikan pelatihan bagi guru untuk terampil dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digitalisasi diantaranya teknologi additive manufacturing 3-D Printing. Namun terdapat faktor penghambat yang dihadapi seperti rendahnya tingkat pemahaman guru dan siswa/i serta belum tersediannya alat mesin 3-D Printer. Metode: Sehingga melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Dosen Fakultas Teknik Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang melakukan peningkatan pengetahuan additive manufacturing (3-D printing) dalam implementasi perancangan produk pembelajaran bagi guru dan siswa. Hasil: Kegiatan dihadiri oleh 10 orang guru dan 75 orang siswa/i pada Senin, 9 September 2024. Hasil yang didapatkan pada kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman terkait 3D printing oleh guru dan siswa/i. Kesimpulan: Hasil kegiatan memberikan peningkatan pemahaman guru dan siswa/i sebanyak 95% dan juga telah memberikan mesin 3-D printer yang akan dimanfaatkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Background: Peningkatan lesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir pantai di Desa Sungai Buntu dapat dilakukan beriringan dengan program pengelolaan limbah cangkang kerang di sekitar. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, limbah cangkang kerang diolah menjadi produk baru, seperti paving block, dan dijual untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Metode: Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan dengan mitraa Masyarakat nelayan desa Sungai Buntu dengan jumlah 50 orang. Hasil: Berdasarkan nilai pre-test dan post-test diketahui adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap potensi limbah cangkang kerang. Sedangkan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat paving block berbahan cangkang kerang masih kurang, terlihat dari hasil cetakan berongga dan tidak rata. Pendampingan oleh tim dosen terus dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program akan memberikan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat desa Sungai Buntu bahkan setelah kegiatan PKM berakhir. Kesimpulan: Program Pengabdian ini berpotensi membuka peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat desa Sungai Buntu melalui pengembangan usaha paving block berbahan limbah cangkang kerang.

Abstract

Bakso analog jamur tiram putih pada penelitian ini adalah bakso yang berbahan baku jamur tiram putih dengan penambahan tepung kacang merah dan tapioka.  Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan formulasi tepung kacang merah dan tapioka yang menghasilkan bakso analog jamur tiram putih dengan sifat fisikokimia dan sensori terbaik mendekati SNI 3818:2014 tentang standar mutu bakso daging. Metode yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 4 ulangan menggunakan faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari 6 taraf formulasi kacang merah dan tapioka yaitu P0 (0% :100%), P1 (10% : 90%), P2 (20% : 80%), P3 (30% : 70%), P4 (40% : 60%), dan P5 (50% :50%).  Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik dengan menggunakan uji Barlett dan Tukey dilanjutkan dengan uji ANOVA dan uji BNT pada taraf 5%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa formulasi tepung kacang merah dan tapioka terbaik pada perlakuan P1 (10% : 90%) yang menghasilkan kadar air sebesar 68,59%, kadar lemak sebesar 0,19%, kadar protein sebesar 2,56%, kadar karbohidrat sebesar 27,37%, kadar abu sebesar 1,35%, kadar serat kasar sebesar 3,71%, warna putih keabuan, tekstur kenyal, aroma, rasa, dan penerimaan keseluruhan yang disukai oleh panelis.

Abstract

PT. DENSO INDONESIA is an automotive manufacturing industry company Spare parts for two-wheeles and four-wheeles motor vehicles from foreign investors between Japan and Indonesia, So not familiar with continuous improvement (kaizen) in every work process. In fact, PT. DENSO INDONESIA continues to make periodic and continuous improvements to bind the quality of the products produced and eliminate wastes in each work process. PT. DENSO INDONESIA must eliminate muda handling in the work area to speed up work process. This study aims to eliminate muda handling using lean manufacturing with the DMAIC approach. DMIAC method is used to search for data and facts in genba and analyze to get solutions from problems, To find the root couse and idea solutions, use additional tools, with fishbone method and 5W+1H analyze. Do implementation change work tools can eliminate muda handling, this implementation can reduce working time and increase benefits for the company, in 1 year implementation of lean manufacturing with DMAIC approach can save costs of RP 135,244,800 and reduce working time by 28.86%..

Abstract

Digitalisasi menghadirkan revolusi di sektor manufaktur yang mengacu pada transisi dari teknologi tradisional ke digital yang membentuk bagian integral dari Industri 4.0. Saat ini, inovasi digital terkait erat dengan "keberlanjutan" perusahaan. Smart Manufacturing dianggap sebagai paradigma baru yang membuat pekerjaan lebih cerdas dan lebih terhubung, menghadirkan kecepatan dan fleksibilitas melalui pengenalan inovasi digital. Smart Manufacturing adalah implementasi fisik dan operasional dari sebagian besar transformasi digital di sektor industri dan Digital Transformation KPIs adalah alat untuk mengukur keberhasilan implementasi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan tinjauan pustaka sistematis menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) untuk memastikan proses identifikasi, seleksi, dan analisis artikel yang transparan dan replicable. Data dari artikel-artikel tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSViewer untuk memvisualisasikan hubungan antar kata kunci, penulis, atau konsep, sehingga memungkinkan identifikasi tren penelitian, klaster topik, serta area riset yang kurang terjamah. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menyajikan literatur relevan yang membahas Digital Transformation KPIs di Industry 4.0 terhadap Smart Manufacturing dan mengidentifikasi tantangan utama, dengan menyajikan hasil tinjauan pustaka dari berbagai jurnal. Sebanyak 35 artikel dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini yang diterbitkan antara 2019 dan 2025. Artikel diidentifikasi berdasarkan tahun, negara, publikasi dan objek penelitian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) memainkan peran sentral dan krusial dalam keberhasilan implementasi Transformasi Digital dalam Industri 4.0 untuk Smart Manufacturing, khususnya di sektor manufaktur, dengan tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, keberlanjutan, dan kinerja bisnis secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The development of the industry that is increasingly making businesses try to be competitive by increasing technical knowledge and improving systems both internally and externally. PDCA is a quality management system that is used as a continuous improve­ment tool that is widely used in the service and manufacturing sectors. PDCA activities consist of four steps namely Plan, Do, Check, and Action with repeated stages forming like a circle. PDCA is a continuous improvement tool that is widely used in the services and manufacturing sector. The cycle of PDCA begins with small to check possible effects on systems, but then eventually progresses to larger and more specific improvements. The results of the implementation PDCA method can be used to solve the problems of qualitative and quantitative data problems that have been widely applied in the service and manufacturing sectors for continuous improvement and as a work pattern in improving a process or system in an organization and increasing productivity. The method used in this research is the literature review research paper has been published in 2015-2020 that have consistently applied the PDCA cycle. The result of this literature review is to describe the relationship between thinking or gaps in theoretical and practical thinking about the application of the PDCA method and the successful implementation in the service and manufacturing sectors as a contribution to further research.

Abstract

Abstract. Waste volume in Karawang City that can be handled will only be 40% and the other 60% will be managed by waste banks and temporary shelter. Innovation in waste recycling is needed, one of which is making plastic waste as raw material for paving block production. This research aims to assess how using plastic waste as a material in making paving blocks affects their compressive strength and water absorption, with the potential to reduce overall plastic waste and explore alternatives to conventional materials. This research focuses on testing water absorption capacity and compressive strength based on SNI 03–0691–1996 standards for making paving blocks. The water absorption test results on PVG 1 and 2 are up to 38.46% larger than PVG 3 and 4 because there are many cavities in PVG 1 and 2 that making were below standard, and PVG 3 and 4 were at quality standard level B. The compressive quality test of PVG 1 and 2 have a more noticeable compressive quality regard with a typical regard of 6,075 MPa compared to clearing squares with a full plastic composition with an ordinary regard of 4,745 MPa. It happens since of insufficient and manual burning, but it can too be caused by an ought to utilize plastic waste and the got to age the clearing squares being attempted. When compared with the quality Indonesian National Standard (SNI 03 - 0691 – 1996), the compressive quality test of the clearing inside the examination did not meet the standard.Keywords: Plastic Waste, Paving Block, Water Absorption Test, Compressive Strength
