Abstract

Rendahnya minat baca peserta didik sekolah dasar merupakan permasalahan yang masih sering dijumpai, khususnya di era digital ketika penggunaan gawai semakin mendominasi aktivitas anak. Kondisi tersebut juga ditemukan pada siswa kelas tinggi di SDN No. 112 Sattulu, Kecamatan Sinjai Tengah, Kabupaten Sinjai, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kebiasaan membaca serta membangun kesadaran literasi sebagai fondasi masa depan siswa. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan berupa kegiatan sosialisasi dan pemberian motivasi literasi kepada 30 siswa kelas tinggi yang dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 17 Januari 2026. Kegiatan meliputi pemaparan pentingnya membaca, diskusi interaktif, serta pengenalan pembiasaan membaca buku. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan antusiasme siswa terhadap aktivitas membaca dan munculnya kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi dalam menunjang prestasi belajar dan pengembangan diri. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menumbuhkan minat baca siswa dan diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun budaya literasi di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Abstract

The study examined the representation of human trafficking in the movie Taken (2008) and its impact on public perception. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data was gathered through script analysis and interviews with 30 informed respondents, based on Maggy Lee's theory of human trafficking, Aristotle's rhetoric, and Chernobrov's insights on public perception. Findings indicate that Taken portrays various forms of human trafficking, including modern slavery and sexual exploitation, while also highlighting the connections between organized crime and migration. The character Peter employs rhetorical strategies to build trust and manipulate victims, illustrating the complexities of victimization. Although the movie raises awareness about human trafficking, it inadequately represents the psychological trauma experienced by victims. The results provide insights into how cinematic portrayals influence public understanding of human trafficking and shape societal attitudes. The analysis underscores the intricate relationship between media narratives and public perception, revealing how the Taken informs audiences about a critical social issue while also exposing its limitations in depicting the full scope of victim experiences. By focusing on these aspects, the study contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of popular media on societal views regarding human trafficking.

Abstract

The research aims to analyse internal and external conflicts along with their causes and impacts in the film Triangle of Sadness (2022), written by Ruben Ostlund. The analysis is conducted using the conflict theory developed by Kenney (1966). The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with the primary data source being the film script consisting of 98 pages. In addition, the study is supported by various relevant literature, journals, and articles. The data collection was carried out through repeated readings, note-taking of dialogues, and focused analysis based on the categories of internal conflict (man vs. self) and external conflict (man vs. man, man vs. society, man vs. nature) in accordance with the applied theory. The results indicated 15 instances of internal conflict, generally depicting the characters’ inner struggles, such as threats to self-esteem, jealousy, perceived gender role injustice, and emotional dilemmas. There were 10 instances of external conflict were identified, predominantly involving disputes between characters, particularly related to power struggles, differences in social status, and clashes of interest. The impacts of these conflicts include relationship breakdowns, social tension, decreased trust, and mental as well as emotional strain. The main causes of conflict include gender role inequality, socio-economic disparities, shifts in power dynamics, and pressures from social norms. The study reveals that Triangle of Sadness not only critiques social injustice and gender roles but also highlights how power and status can change rapidly in difficult situations, thereby influencing the characters’ identities, values, and actions.

Abstract

The research employed Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis and Kuravati & Malipati theory, and Ang & Lockwood’s classification of apathy to analyse the apathetic behaviour of the main character in Jersey Girl (2004) by Kevin Smith. The purpose of the study is to determine the types of apathetic behaviour, their causal factors, and their effects on the main character’s interactions. The research is descriptive qualitative, and the data source is the script of the 2004 film Jersey Girl. The findings reveal that three categories of apathetic behaviour: eight data of social apathy, three data of behavioural apathy, and two data of emotional apathy. Profound grief due to job loss and the death of a spouse were identified as the main cause of apathy. Based on Freud’s psychoanalytical analysis, two personality components influence apathy behaviour: the ego (12 data) and the id (1 data), the ego being the most dominant. Apathetic behaviour affects the main character in several ways, including decreased social interest, reduced motivation, difficulty in building new relationships, and loss of emotional control. It was expected that the study in which, particularly character analysis is appropriate through psychoanalytic approach.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan kompetensi esensial bagi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin pesat pada era Society 5.0. Mahasiswa tidak hanya dituntut memiliki keterampilan teknis dalam menggunakan teknologi digital, tetapi juga kemampuan berpikir kritis, etika digital, serta tanggung jawab dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan informasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan literasi digital kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran semester 4 dan 6. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Januari 2026 dengan melibatkan sekitar 30 mahasiswa melalui metode sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, dan pendampingan. Materi yang diberikan meliputi konsep literasi digital, evaluasi informasi digital, etika dan keamanan digital, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam konteks akademik dan administrasi perkantoran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran mahasiswa terhadap pentingnya literasi digital yang komprehensif, mencakup aspek teknis, kognitif, dan sosial-etik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membekali mahasiswa dengan kompetensi digital yang kritis, etis, dan aplikatif guna mendukung kesiapan akademik dan profesional di era transformasi digital.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the leadership of gender-based female principals at the primary school level in Barebbo Sub-district, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to describe how gender-based principal leadership is based on the character and context of leadership. The study was adopted from the Gender and Leadership approach based on the FourC-PITO concept. Character is an individual trait or personality and the values that a person believes in. Character in educational leadership relates to self-confidence, independence, responsibility, gender stereotypes, interpersonal relationships, and team management. Context is the physical, psychological, social, economic environment and various situations. Context in leadership is related to stress management, differences in gender relations, socio-cultural conditions, the number of human resources, and work status. The sampling methodology used purposive sampling with informants as many as 5 female principals. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research data were obtained using interviews, observation and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that: (1) The leadership character of elementary school principals in Barebbo Subdistrict, Bone Regency, generally has confidence, is responsible, open to other people's ideas, maintains interpersonal relationships, is democratic, and has good management. (2) The most prominent contexts for gender-based principal leadership are educational strata, gender equality, family relationships, number of resources, work status, regional origin, and teacher adaptability. Keywords: gender, female principal, leadership Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah perempuan berbasis gender jenjang SD Kecamatan Barebbo, Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan bagaimana kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis gender berdasarkan karakter dan konteks kepemimpinan. Kajian tersebut diadopsi dari pendekatan Gender and Leadership yang berdasar pada konsep FourC-PITO. Karakter merupakan sifat individu atau kepribadian dan nilai-nilai yang diyakini seseorang. Metodologi pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan informan sebanyak 5 kepala sekolah perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Karakter kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SD di Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone pada umumnya memiliki kepercayaan diri, bertanggung jawab, terbuka terhadap gagasan orang lain, menjaga relasi interpersonal, demokratis, dan memiliki manajemen yang baik. (2) Konteks yang paling menonjol pada kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis gender berupa, strata pendidikan, kesamaan gender, hubungan kekeluargaan, jumlah sumberdaya, status kerja, asal daerah, dan kemampuan adaptasi guru. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya supervisi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan, dengan fokus pada praktik supervisi, proses pelaksanaan, serta implikasi psikologis dan profesional yang ditimbulkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan 21 partisipan, terdiri atas kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, tim supervisi, dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta pengkodean terbuka, aksial, dan selektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya supervisi kepala sekolah bersifat partisipatif, humanis, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan profesional. Supervisi yang melibatkan guru dalam perencanaan, dilaksanakan melalui dialog reflektif, serta didukung umpan balik konstruktif dan pendampingan berkelanjutan mampu membentuk pengalaman psikologis positif, seperti rasa dihargai, aman, percaya diri, dan komitmen kerja. Proses ini secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepuasan kerja guru. Penelitian ini terbatas pada satu konteks sekolah sehingga generalisasi temuan bersifat terbatas. Namun demikian, hasil penelitian memberikan implikasi teoretis dengan memperkuat konsep supervisi kolaboratif dan kepemimpinan instruksional melalui pendekatan berbasis pengalaman guru. Kepala sekolah disarankan mengembangkan supervisi yang dialogis, reflektif, dan berkelanjutan dengan menempatkan guru sebagai mitra profesional dalam proses pembinaan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengungkapan mekanisme bagaimana gaya supervisi membentuk kepuasan kerja guru melalui pengalaman psikologis dan interaksi profesional dalam konteks supervisi akademik.
