Abstract

This research is a quantitative study aimed at determining the impact of work discipline and professionalism on the quality of public services at the Makassar City Manpower Office. The research employed quantitative analysis, utilizing observation, data collection through questionnaires with 53 respondents, as well as validation and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that the t-test results for work discipline indicated a significant value of 0.047 (less than 0.05) and a t-count value of 2.034, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.010. This signifies a positive and significant effect of work discipline on the quality of public services. Similarly, professionalism demonstrated a significant value of 0.001 (less than 0.05) and a t-count value of 4.728, which exceeds the t-table value of 2.010, indicating a positive and significant influence of professionalism on the quality of public services. Based on the research findings from data collection, management, and analysis, it can be concluded that both work discipline and professionalism have a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services at the Makassar City Manpower Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of organizational culture (OC) and human resource development practice (HR) on knowledge assets (KA) and knowledge transfer performance (KT). This type of research is survey research that takes samples from a population and uses a questionnaire as a primary data collection tool. The population in this study were all staff in the PT PLN (Persero) UIW Sulselrabar of 197 people. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample. The results of the study show that OC and HR have a significant impact on KA. KA has a significant impact on KT, while OC and HR are not significant on KT. Finally, the perceived benefits of OC and HR can create positive attitudes about KA.

Abstract

The problem of the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is the most dominant research topic, especially in developing countries that rely on these sectors in their economy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of MSMEs through the mediation of business independence variables. This type of research is field research and literature which aims to answer the formulation of the research problem. The research location is in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The population in this study is 16.492 MSMEs. The number of samples in this study was determined by the Slovin formula, so the sample size is 100 SMEs. The sampling method is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique, namely proportional random sampling for each business sector. Data analysis techniques use structural equation model analysis. The results showed that the entrepreneurial orientation variable had a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, both directly and through the business independence variable. Based on the findings of this study, further research is needed regarding the performance of SMEs to explore other variables.

Abstract

Employee performance has an important role in achieving goals and maintaining the good name of educational institutions. This research aims to analyze the direct influence of personality and teamwork on organizational commitment and employee performance. This research also analyzes the direct impact of organizational commitment on employee performance. To analyze the influence of personality and teamwork on employee performance through organizational commitment. The population in this study were all employees with civil servant and non-civil servant status. The sampling method was census sampling, so the total sample was 72 people. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires which are answered by respondents in accordance with the sample selection criteria. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The research results show that teamwork has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and employee performance. Future research could investigate more deeply the mechanisms by which teamwork influences employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on customer loyalty at Bank BRI Tassililu Unit. The research was conducted with a sample of 87 respondents, using 24 items divided into two variables: service quality as the independent variable (15 items) and customer loyalty as the dependent variable (9 items). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26. The results of the t-test indicate that the service quality variable has a t-value of 16.604, which is greater than the critical value of 1.663, with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). These findings confirm that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Each dimension of service quality—tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy—plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, which ultimately strengthens their loyalty to the bank. This study highlights the importance for Bank BRI Tassililu Unit to continuously improve service quality to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. Providing excellent service not only fosters customer loyalty but also encourages positive word-of-mouth recommendations, which can attract new customers. Additionally, future research is suggested to explore other influencing factors such as brand image, customer satisfaction, and perceived value to gain a more comprehensive understanding of customer loyalty determinants in the banking sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Kota Makassar, yang terdiri dari pegawai negeri sipil dan pegawai kontrak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah dengan nilai estimate sebesar 0,456, t-hitung sebesar 4,827, dan p-value sebesar 0,000. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,221 menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia menjelaskan 22,1% variasi dalam kualitas laporan keuangan, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan dan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan menjadi rekomendasi utama guna meningkatkan kualitas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah. Selain itu, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas laporan keuangan secara lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of gacha addiction and good price on the intention to purchase in-app items, with mobile game loyalty as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze survey data collected from 208 Genshin Impact players in Indonesia through random sampling and online questionnaires. The results indicate that gacha addiction significantly influences the intention to purchase in-app items, while good price has a moderate effect. Additionally, mobile game loyalty serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between gacha addiction and purchase intention. Abstract

Background: In a rapidly changing labor market, three factors are essential: ownership of digital literacy, financial management skills, and specialized knowledge in increasing competitiveness in HR Management. These three factors are relevant to technological developments and market needs, so it is also essential for companies to implement the right strategy to achieve high competitiveness. Purpose: This paper aims to analyze digital literacy, financial management, and special skills in the context of human resources management market competition and simultaneously analyze all independent variables with the dependent variable. Design/methodology/approach: This research design uses a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 158 managers of financial institutions in Bekasi, with a sample size of 158 managers selected. The respondents were selected through the random sampling method. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Findings/Result: The research results show that the variables Digital Literacy, Financial Management, and Special Skills have a positive and significant effect on Human Resources Management Market Competition. Moreover, all independent variables have a significant effect on Human Resources Management Market Competition by 54.4%, while the remainder is influenced by other variables. Conclusion: Digital literacy, financial management, and special skills collectively form a powerful arsenal for HR professionals seeking to excel in the market. Originality/value (State of the art): This study contributes to the limited empirical literature by quantitatively assessing the combined impact of digital literacy, financial management, and special skills on HR market competitiveness, offering practical insights for HR strategy development in the context of emerging market economies. Abstract

Purpose: Effective methods for digital literacy and financial management are expected to enhance HR competency and employee competitiveness in the job market. Research Methodology: This quantitative study used SEM-PLS with convenience sampling to select 192 BUMD employees in DKI Jakarta. Data were collected via an online Likert-scale questionnaire. Results: This study highlights the role of digital literacy and financial management in HR markets mediated by HR competency. It offers empirical evidence and a framework that integrates these factors to enhance HR competitiveness. Conclusions: This study emphasizes the impact of digital literacy and financial management on HR competencies and organizational competitiveness. This study provides empirical evidence and a framework for enhancing HR capabilities. Limitations: This study was limited by convenience sampling, self-reported data bias, and cross-sectional design. It focuses only on digital literacy and financial management, excluding factors such as leadership and organizational culture. Contribution: This study empirically highlights the role of digital literacy and financial management in enhancing HR competency and competitiveness. It introduces a new framework, offers practical insights, and validates relationships using PLS-SEM.

Abstract

In the world of education, the issue of job satisfaction and performance has become the main concern for academics. This study aims to investigate the impact of transformational leadership, education and training, and protean careers on job satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research to obtain and collect data and information that refers to the research problem. Data collection techniques based on field research were carried out in kindergarten private schools spread across regencies/cities in West Java Province. The population in this study were all Private Kindergarten (TK) Principals of 1,503 people. Sampling using random sampling and proportional sampling as many as 316 people. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership, and education and training variables had no significant effect on job satisfaction. The protean career variable has a significant effect on job satisfaction for school principals.
