Abstract

The difficulties students face, especially in reading comprehension activities, are that they need help understanding the contents of the stories they have read, so they are less able to answer questions related to the contents of the reading. The difficulties faced by these students were because students needed to be included in communicating and contributing to learning activities. This study aims to analyze animated video media with the directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) strategy for reading comprehension in Indonesian. This research is a quasi-experimental, posttest-only design with no treatment control design. The population is all 9 classes of fourth-grade elementary school, with 327 students. Determination of the research sample using a random sampling technique. Non-test method data collection. The data collection instrument is Observation. The data analysis method is the inferential statistical analysis method. The method of data analysis is an inferential statistical analysis technique and t-test. The study results showed a significant influence on the ability to read Indonesian language comprehension between the group taught the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy and the group taught using conventional learning in fourth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that animated video media with the directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) strategy could improve reading comprehension skills in Indonesian.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa didasari oleh minimnya media pembelajaran khususnya dalam bidang matematika, yang menyebabkan siswa sulit untuk memahami materi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu  mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan prosedur model ADDIE. Subek uji coba penelitian ini yaitu 1 orang ahli isi pembelajaran, 1 orang ahli desain pembelajaran, 1 orang ahli media pembelajaran, 3 1 orang uji coba perorangan dan 6 orang uji coba kelompok kecil. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrument yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu hasil review ahli isi pembelajaran memperoleh skor 91,67% (berkualifikasi sangat baik), hasil review ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh skor 79,54% (berkualifikasi baik), hasil review ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh skor 93,33% (berkualifikasi sangat baik), hasil uji coba perorangan memperoleh persentase skor 93,74% (berkualifikasi sangat baik), dan hasil uji kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase skor 90,62% (berkualifikasi sangat baik). Jadi media video pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan kontekstual pada mata pelajaran matematika layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan larangan perkawinan berdasarkan Pasal 8 UU Perkawinan dan Paos 68 Awig-Awig di Desa Adat Duda; (2) untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji upaya Prajuru Desa Adat Duda dalam mengatasi praktik perkawinan sedarah yang dilakukan oleh krama Desa Adat Duda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum yuridis empiris, dengan menggunakan data tangan pertama sebagai data utama dan data sekunder sebagai data pendukung. Bahan hukum dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian dokumenter, teknik observasi dan teknik wawancara. Analisis kualitatif digunakan ketika menentukan teknik analisis data yang akan digunakan. Analisis kualitatif diterapkan pada penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Fenomena perkawinan sedarah masih terjadi di desa adat Duda, sehingga ketentuan Pasal 8 UU Perkawinan belum dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Implementasi ketentuan ini belum terlaksana dengan baik karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap hukum, serta rendahnya tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap apa yang dilihatnya. Walaupun sebenarnya secara adat terdapat awig-awig yang mengatur, namun sudah berupaya dipertegas oleh prajuru adat karena perkawinan tersebut terlanjur dilangsungkan karena kebutuhan masyarakat. Kemudian, (2) Upaya Prajuru Adat dalam mengatasi praktik perkawinan sedarah bukan hanya berupa tindakan preventif dan represif, tetapi juga merupakan usaha kolektif untuk menjaga keharmonisan sosial, mengedukasi masyarakat, dan memastikan bahwa nilai-nilai adat tetap hidup dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The teacher's lack of understanding in developing an interesting learning media in the learning process, especially in the delivery of science material in the classroom, is still conventional. The aim of this research is to describe the design of digital comic media based on science subject problems, to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of digital comic media. This digital comic development research uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The results of this development research concluded that the problem-based digital comics developed were feasible and effective for use in the learning process as evidenced by: (1) the results of expert design tests obtained a score of 92.50% (very good) (2) the feasibility of problem-based digital comic media based on the results of the learning material expert test, the score was 91.18% (very good), the learning design expert and learning media expert obtained a score of 92.50% (very good), the individual test obtained a score of 94.16% (very good), the group test small score is obtained 93.61% (good), and (3) the results of the effectiveness test with the t-test obtained t-count = 23.256 > t-table = 1.711 at a significance level of 5% for dk = 24 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is significant differences before and after using problem-based digital comic media. It can be concluded that problem-based digital comic media products are feasible and effective for application in natural and social sciences subjects, especially in class V elementary school human respiratory system material.

Abstract

The lack of integration of technology and local culture in learning causes low cultural literacy and student learning outcomes. This research aims to develop interactive multimedia exploring Balinese traditions in science and science subjects, especially the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture for fourth grade elementary school students. This research includes development research. The ADDIE model used in this research consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research involved content/materials, design, learning media experts, and 14 students. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The media feasibility test results from expert content, design, media, individual trials and small group trials were sequentially 95,4%; 92,5%; 91,6%; 91,6%; 95% is included in the very good category. The results of the effectiveness test using the one sample t-test obtained tcount = 5.63 and ttable = 1.771 at a significance level of 5% with db = 13. These results show tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia exploring Balinese traditions is feasible and effective for use in the natural and social science subject, Culturally Rich Indonesian for class IV students.

Abstract

The lack of teacher skills in building students' character in the Pancasila education subject impacts the decline in students' attitudes. A common decline in attitude is seen when students are not fully attentive during the flag-raising ceremony and do not display proper posture while singing national anthems. To address this issue, a learning model is needed to enhance students' national attitudes. This study aims to examine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model assisted by board game media on national attitudes in the Pancasila education subject among fourth-grade elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental study using a non-equivalent post-test-only control group design. The population consists of 195 fourth-grade elementary school students. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling, with 28 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group. Data collection was conducted through observation using observation sheets as the instrument. The research data were analyzed using inferential statistics (t-test). Based on the hypothesis testing through t-test calculation at a significance level (α) of 0.05, the results showed tcount=3.920  and ttable=1.674t. Since tcount>ttable, H0 is rejected, and H1 accepted. These results indicate a significant effect of applying the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model assisted by board game media on students' national attitudes. This research implies that the learning process can be more effective and efficient in instilling national values to students. This is expected to help students develop a national attitude that is in line with the expectations and goals of education.

Abstract

The lack of innovative learning media related to culture affects students' level of knowledge about culture and influences the low student learning outcomes. This study aims to create a digital map learning media related to the cultural diversity of Indonesia and to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the resulting product. This research is a development study using the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study were three experts and 27 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods used both tests and non-tests, with instruments in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data were then analyzed through qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential statistical analysis.The results showed that the product feasibility test by subject matter experts, instructional design experts, and learning media experts obtained very good qualifications, so the developed product can be declared feasible to support the learning process in Pancasila Education subjects. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed that the interactive digital map media (PELITA) on Indonesian cultural diversity was effectively applied in the fifth-grade Pancasila Education class at elementary school. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the interactive digital map media (PELITA) is able to bring positive changes to students’ understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity and improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The implication of this research is that it can make students interested and active in participating in learning and can have a positive impact on teachers by expanding their knowledge related to the development of innovative learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki urgensi yang penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sistem penglihatan manusia. Masih rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi dan kurangnya inovasi media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan guru menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Media pembelajaran yang tepat akan membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun, mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektivitas dari media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality materi sistem penglihatan manusia pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan statistika inferensial. Hasil validasi media pembelajaran adalah 90% dari ahli rancang bangun, 88% dari ahli isi materi pembelajaran, 95% dari ahli desain instruksional, 96,36% dari ahli media pembelajaran, 96,18 dari uji perorangan, 95,23% dari uji kelompok kecil. Hasil uji efektivitas melalui teknik uji-t sample dependent memperoleh thitung 4,89 sedangkan ttabel adalah 1,7. Hal ini menunjukkan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Media pembelajaran ini dikatakan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran sistem penglihatan manusia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bisa menjadi dorongan bagi guru untuk menggunakan berbagai media dan sumber belajar yang beragam agar pembelajaran tidak menjadi monoton.

Abstract

Music art learning for blind children is still often done monotonously without appropriate media variations, so it is less able to improve learning outcomes and active student participation. The lack of contextual and adaptive learning media for the needs of the blind encourages the need to develop innovative media such as genjek audiobooks based on the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to develop a traditional singing learning medium called genjek in music education for visually impaired children. This research is a development study by adapting the ADDIE development model. The test subjects in this study included one material expert, one design expert, one media expert, and 12 visually impaired children. Data collection was conducted using non-test methods such as questionnaires and performance assessment sheets. This study employed four data analysis techniques, namely qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results of the study showed that the eligibility based on the evaluations of content experts, design experts, media experts, individual trials, and small group trials, scored 92.25%, 95%, 96%, 93.2%, and 92.5% respectively all categorized as very good. The effectiveness test based on a one-sample t-test yielded a t-value of 3.046. Meanwhile, the ttable value at a 5% significance level with 11 degrees of freedom was 1.796. These results indicate that tvalue > ttable, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. It can be concluded that the genjek Bali audiobook medium based on the Pancasila Student Profile is highly feasible and effective for use to enhance the learning outcomes of visually impaired children while also implementing character values within the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Implicating this research, the audiobook genjek media effectively enhances learning outcomes and instills character values in visually impaired children in music education.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi membaca pemahaman peserta didik adalah rendahnya minat membaca peserta didik. Diperlukan pembaruan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi membaca peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan model pembelajaran SQ3R berbantuan teks nonfiksi terhadap kompetensi membaca pemahaman bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus Srikandi sebanyak 376 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini diantaranya 25 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 5 Sumerta sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 24 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sumerta sebagai kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian atau essay. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis statistik inferensial uji Anakova (Analisis Kovarian). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh Fhitung (9,338) lebih besar daripada Ftabel (4,052) pada taraf signifikasi 5% dengan dk = 46. Hal ini menunjukkan penerimaan H1 diterima. Nilai rata-rata kompetensi membaca pemahaman bahasa Indonesia kelompok eksperimen adalah 98 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol yaitu 77. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran SQ3R berbantuan teks nonfiksi berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi membaca pemahaman bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.
